The Hill has put out their 50 Top Beautiful People On Capital Hill issue.
Guess who ranks #4?
They credit a Facebook group called “I can’t say why, but I kinda think Nancy Pelosi is cute,” (and another group that was too crass to name) for their choice. That, and her Armani skirt-suits.
In all, 29 on the list were Democrats, 16 Republicans, and 5 other/unknown.
Because as we all know, Democrats are much more attractive than Republicans.

Oh Jeez!
Wiserbud makes a good point:
I guess the sexiest woman in the world isn’t considered a Washington insider and therefore not eligible. Otherwise, the rest of the people on this list might as well have just fallen off the face of the Earth.

#51?
Ted Kennedy

Quite frankly, I’m shocked that Obama didn’t make the list.
Or Hillary!
Mmmmmmmmmmmm, cankles………
July, 25, 2007 at 11:09 am
Really.
You’d have thought Obama would be #1.
Too obvious, maybe?

Lord voldemorts #4?

WP,
Nancy is no Voldemort. She is more like Dolores Umbridge.
BTW, I finished the 7th book. Loved it.

The first step is to recognize you have a problem. Dems still have not recognized that they have a problem. Their delusional triumph of hope over experience continues.

We just spent last weekend watching the grandson lug the 6th book around here ’cause he wanted to reread it before he read #7 (also he knew he won’t get #7 until his mom and dad have finished it) He’s 8 YO. He’s quite the reader.
July, 25, 2007 at 1:26 pm
Wow, Patty Ann.
That’s pretty amazing for an 8 year old.

That’s pretty amazing for an 8 year old.
Amazing? pshaw. Supposedly, WP has read them all too.
Now THAT’s amazing.
July, 25, 2007 at 1:42 pm
WP is my grandson. Logic. Heh.
July, 25, 2007 at 1:44 pm
>>Amazing? pshaw. Supposedly, WP has read them all too.
And WP does not eat paste anymore, if you remind him in a sweet, non-threatening tone.
PattyAnn, it is amazing that the 8 year old wants to read all the HP books. I wonder whether the 7th is appropriate for him. Too much bloodshed and too many good people dead. I choked up a couple of times, although they say I am an adult.

But if the kid could handle Dumbledore’s death in the 6th, he can handle the horrors that lie ahead. Tough kid.
July, 25, 2007 at 2:00 pm
Thanks, Tushar. His mother and father will either allow him to read 7 or not. Their decision. Yes, he is tough. And he’s smart. He knows about death and he ponders it. Says stuff to me like ‘I hope you don’t die for a long time but if you do I’ll remember you’. He’s freaky at times
And I was lying about WP being my GS. He’s just my bestest internet friend, or BFI.

BIF if you’re not dyslexic.

there were 3 deaths that hit me, and one of them (not really a spoiler, cuz he was such a minor character) was Colin Creavey. I can’t remember if collin was the little brother who loved harry, or if he was the 6th year that loved harry, but instead of hiding with the other below age kids, he fought, and died.
That was just a sad little moment, though it was treated as something of a superficial moment.

And tush, I have a spoiler laden review of sorts at AMA, let me know if I screwed anything up.
Also, it’s LONG! like Ace reviewing “WickerMan” Long.

“Also, it’s LONG! like Ace reviewing “WickerMan” Long.”
NOTHING is that long.
July, 25, 2007 at 3:07 pm
on Capitol Hill?
well that’s setting the bar pretty low.
as ace is fond of saying, politics is just show business for ugly people.
July, 25, 2007 at 8:06 pm
WP, I left a comment on your HP & DH review. Good review, BTW. Captures the essentials.
July, 25, 2007 at 10:00 pm
Thanks Tush.

WP, I loved Linda’s photo in Rolling Stone decades ago. I believe she was wearing red panties. Love her voice too.
I do believe she is a complete moonbat now. That’s the anti-hot.
