He recently hired Spencer Abraham to be his campaign adviser. Why would he do that?
He’s an open borders enthusiast.
He’s a friend of CAIR.
More at Right Truth, Gates of Vienna, Michelle Malkin.
This is a serious misstep.
I’m forced to take another look at Giuliani.
UPDATE:
Michelle Malkin talked about Abraham on the Laura Ingraham show this morning. It sounds to me like the concerns are well founded. Hot Air has the audio.

I’m forced to take another look at Giuliani.
…not to mention that Giuliani is actually running, unlike the coquettish Mr. Thompson. If he was serious about the office, he should have announced last May.

Debbie’s kinda nuts. I know this because I used to know her in my younger days as a get this — a young Republican.
She could find a connection between Al Queda and Niblets.

You could have used a better example.
There just may BE a connection between Al Qaida and Niblets.

I hear you Geoff. I don’t understand why he’s waiting, and I’ve lost patience with it.
Coquettish is right.

It seems that most of his hesitation is due to money questions.

When you are president you hier successful generals, you don’t let them write policy.
Spencer abraham has a good history in political strategy, and while his conclusions are wrong, his knowledge is pretty significant.
Not to mention if Fred stand in opposition to what we think Spence thinks, then he proves himself MORE the CinC than if he just surrounded himself with sycophants.
Too big a deal, too soon, is all I’m saying.

The sooner he gets in, the more money he needs to make a serious run. Plus, we have started this election cycle way, way, way earlier than ever before.
It’s summer, no one is really paying attention besides us and I think Fred is making a real smart, strategic move here. How tried are we going to be of the rest of the candidates by the time the conventions roll around.
Slow and steady, baby. That’s what wins races.

tried = tired

Fred! is basically getting to run for free (or cheap) right now. Primary voters know who he is and six months is more than enough time for a runup. I think this is very smart.
