A Reliable source has informed someone named Mindbender26, at Free Republic that Castro is room temperature.
This could be a big nothing…. we’ll see.
This follows a report from August 7, that claimed that Castro was on his deathbed.
I wouldn’t be surprised, the guy’s got to die sometime.
For what it’s worth, a commenter at Free Republic says:
As I posted several days ago, I have several Cuban friends in FL who say that the Cuban citizenry of that great state are buying up all the Champaign and fireworks they can get their hands on. They are anticipating a great celebration when news of his demise is confirmed.

UPDATE:
A reporter from the National Post called Perez Hilton and filed these quotes:
“I’ve been hearing a lot of things coming from Miami for a couple of days now and then today, I just got some new information that is leading me to believe that he is [dead.] But, you know, it may just be rumours. He had his birthday on Monday, so maybe it’s just a new flare-up of rumours.”
“Hopefully, we can get an answer either way because Castro hasn’t been seen out in public in a year. The Cuban government has been very HUSH HUSH about his health. He could have been dead for months now, really.”
Mr. Hilton said it would be “awesome” if Castro was dead and he was one of the first media outlets to report it.
“It would be awesome because I am Cuban. I have a real connection to this story. My family had to flee his dictorial, totalitarian, oppressive, communist, evil regime.”
UPDATE II:
The International News is reporting today (Sat. 18th), on an article published Friday in Prensa Latina, in which Castro, who hasn’t been seen in public for over a year, condemned as both a “rumor” and “threat” US plans to build refugee housing at Guantanamo in case his death sparks an exodus from the Caribbean country.
Hmmmm…..
My own feeling:
If he’s not already dead, his death is very imminent.
UPDATE III (8/19):
Chavez denies the rumors that Castro is dead.
Says he spoke to him on his birthday, last Monday.
For what it’s worth.
