You probably haven’t heard about this, because according to Gateway Pundit, the media didn’t cover it, but yesterday, on the White House lawn, Bush declared that, (according to General Petraeus) “we are succeeding in Iraq”, and “we will succeed”.
The President was speaking before groups of military support organizations on the south lawn, where the families chanted USA! USA!, and gave him a standing O. (Video at Gateway Pundit).
There were mothers in that group, Sally Field. Proud mothers who support the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and their deployed sons and daughters.
Imagine that.
