What the heck? What’s the point of having good, hard hitting ads if stations aren’t going to air them?
In case you haven’t already seen it, the ad is awesome:
Sure, Obama spokesmen are calling the ad despicable, as expected…but why would a news agency have a problem with it? The truth is the truth. Did Fox give a reason for its refusal to run the ad? No. A Fox spokesman would not say why the network declined to run the ad, which was scheduled to air yesterday, and today in Michigan and Ohio.
Does Fox News really believe Obama when he says that Bill Ayers was “just a guy in the neighborhood” , just a guy he served on a board with?
Doesn’t this news agency keep up with the news?
The connection between the terrorist Ayers and Obama is fair game.
I’m disappointed in you, Fox News.
UPDATE:
Hey, Fox News says they love to hear your input:
“We Love to Hear From Our Viewers”!
Cool. Contact info here.
Let them know what you think of this.
Thanks for the idea, Joan.
UPDATE II:
Obama is threatening the 527 that created the ad, and pressuring TV stations not to air it.
UPDATE III:
“Coffee 260″ tells me in the comment section that Fox is now running the ad, having watched it him/herself this afternoon.
I did some googling to confirm this, but haven’t been able to find anything on it, yet.
I did find that the liberal blogs are up in arms about Fox “Accidentally” airing the ad on the 22nd, which of course they had every right to do, but Fox “went against their principled stand”, the argument goes.
Only to the left would this craven decision be seen as “principled”.

Ok. I’m scratching my head at this one.

They don’t want to take a chance on getting locked out of the convention. Leftists are good for that. Also, FOX still thinks they are going to get another interview with him and O’Rielly. Both equal much more revenue than one ad. FOX dropped a big notch in my book.

As a NYC cop in the late 60’s through the 90’s, I had many occasions to deal with these despicable scum in the Weather underground, and saw a few of my brothers maimed for life by their bombs. I would love to run up against this POS Ayers sometime – I have some things I’d like to “discuss” with him, up close and personal.

Hey Bruce, Nick is an ex cop, too.

It’s kind of sad when you can’t air the truth on the airwaves… I mean, what was wrong with what the ad said?

How can we let Fox know that we are very displeased with their decision not to run the ad.
