You know what else would be funny? If during the debate, Steele’s answers included some of the most famous lines from historical figures, said as if they were his own.
Can’t say as I know anything about the man, so I’ll take ya’ll at your word he’s a good conservative.
On the other hand, I think it would be a mistake to put him on the ticket just to tweak the leftards with a black man, as much as it would be a mistake to put Palin on the ticket just because she’s a female.
We need the strongest ticket we can get to keep the Marxists out of the WH. Bad enough we’re stuck with McCain (“Obama Light”) leading the ticket. If McCain persists in his habit of poking a stick in the eyes of the conservative core – he will lose, plain and simple – and we will be left to suffer at least 4 years of a Marxist/Islamic takeover of our country, one or possibly two SC appointments, and Lord knows what else.

He would be a great conservative to balance McCain’s RINO crap and I would LOVE to see the debate between Steele and Biden.
