Not backing down:
This is good, but like I said previously, the McCain campaign needs to keep piling on. Bring up the other bad associations, including Rev. Wright.
I hope this isn’t what McCain’s aide was talking about when he hinted that they would making news in the morning, as he told Jonathon Martin at The Politico:
“We’ll have something to talk about,” is all a campaign aide would allow.
A campaign ad, (albeit, a strong one) isn’t exactly what I had in mind.

UPDATE:
This video by The Loud Talker, listing 10 of Obama’s nasty associations is exactly what I’m talking about:

Interesting. What about McCain’s friendship with G. Gordon Liddy, who has admitted in his autobiography to plotting the murder of several people, never mind his Watergate conviction. Or what about his friendship with Charles Keating. Or what about McCain being on the advisory board of the U.S. Council for World Freedom which was associated with the death squads in Latin America. Then there’s that convicted felon who McCain said was a role model for young Americans. It happens to be McCain’s father in law who used mob ties to get his business started. http://straighttalkonmccain.blogspot.com/

Keating? He was exhonerated of any wrongdoing with Keating. Liddy? Who served his penance and went legit? Proof of your other naked assertions? Moral equivalence is lame where ever it is played, chief.

“Liddy? Who served his penance and went legit? “
Aside from the fact that morons assertion is wrong on it’s face. If one bothered to read Liddy’s books, one would know that Liddy told Nixon’s Chief of Staff that “if it would help” – he would kill a person. Aperson – as in a single individual he suspected of leaking information to the press. The idea was rejected out of hand and went no farther than that one meeting – at which Nixon was not present. There was no “PLOT” … just a passing thought.
Further – McCain was never a “friend” of Charles Keating. In fact, Keating referred to McCain as a weasel for not going along with him and his DEMOCRAT buddies – 3 of whom were subsequently found guilty by the Ethics Committee. McCain was found to have NO duplicity in the Keating scandal – by a Democrat Party controlled committee.
But lefties never let facts get in the way of the truth as they see it. (Unless it concerns a fellow RAT)
