Naturally, O’Reilly gets the whole Obama/Ayers controversy wrong. He thinks Obama should apologize to the nation for making the “mistake” of writing a blurb for Ayers’ book, and sitting on “a” board with him.
He totally misses the point that the reason these two knew and worked with each other (more extensively than O’Reilly mentions) for 20 years or more is because of their similar political philosophies.

I don’t think O’Reilly misses the point—I think O’reilly, believes himself to be Independent (he’s not, but…) and so he wants the regular “guy” to figure it out for himself. He doesn’t like to be thought of like a Limbaugh (can’t claim he’s Independent)—who knocks you on the head with the point—tells you what you should believe. O’Reilly can’t believe the Ayers connection hasn’t eliminated Obamanation from legitimacy, so this is his way of getting the people to scream for the answers. That’s my take.
I can’t understand why Obama is this close to becoming President with the associations he has had and he still keeps… (whether publicly or privately)
I can’t even get a copy of “Rules for Radicals” by Saul Alinsky, which Mark Levin claims to be Obama’s play book Until after the election on AMAZON! I find that interesting too.

I don’t think O’Reilly would damage his Independent creds by getting the facts straight. Obama and Ayers served on TWO boards together. They served a at least a couple of panels, too. That stuff isn’t just heresay, they’re established facts.
Most people are not going to go look this stuff up on their own.

Poor Bill Ayers — it would be great if Obama is forced to admit that Ayers was a relatively big part of his Chicago friends!!! I hope he wonders every time he goes somewhere, if there might be a bomb waiting for him in his car, or place of residence???
