Republicans are rolling over like puppies for Obama/Reid/Pelosi. Redstate says Mitch McConnell is leading the retreat:
The idea that Mitch McConnell is protecting us from the Democrats is bullcrap. We should collectively rip off his jaw and shovel the crap back down his throat that he’s been serving us.
Example 1:
McConnell has today allowed Harry Reid to move forward with the Lands Bill despite Tom Coburn’s hold on it.
Example 2:
McConnell will not fight for hunters rights on public land with regard to the Lands Bill.
Example 3:
McConnell will not even show up on Sunday to vote on the Lands Bill.
Example 4:
McConnell is not fighting Reid on throwing Coburn off the Judicial Committee and is already planning on caving to Reid’s demands to seriously cut the number of Republican Senators on Committees — an action that will significantly impact conservative senators.
Example 5:
McConnell privately told Republican senators this week that he will not publicly fight Barack Obama’s economic agenda.
And so on and so on and so on…
I read somewhere…that the Republicans were planning to pick and choose their fights carefully. I hope and pray that they eventually find something worth fighting for.

Our senior Senate Republicans are having a lusty love fest with left wing socialists. It’s not just McConnel, you have McCain, Hatch and Graham drooling and going ga ga goo goo over Obama and his new administration. Fiscal conservatives?….No such animal anymore. Write or call the RNC and give it to them…and I mean BOTH BARRELS. This is nuts!

They are ackowledging reality for a change. It will be a long time before the public forgets how they totally betrayed conservative principles. For now they are better being the Loyal Opposition who want the president to succeed for the good of the country. Too much bitching only weakens them, and it sucks the air out of what could become a very focused and on point message of principal.

Stop it! The Republicans have tried over and over to make nice with the Dems. What has it accomplished? Lost the House, Senate, and Presidency…yea let’s make nice. The day Bush stepped into the White House the Dems hounded him for everything. In fact, some of them want Bush and/or his administration arrested…today! I have great respect for the Dems. They stick to their agenda, and play hard ball all the time. Republicans are without balls, principals, and strong leaders who represent/articulate a conservative view. Tell me, when did the Dems ever give Bush a chance?…That’s right…NEVER!
