LOL!! Thanks, brewha. Now I have to clean coffee off my monitor!
Seriously, tho, the way the media has built him up and continue to provide cover, along with all the people who expect him to “save” them, is a bit disturbing to say the least. Also, considering his popularity in Europe and the way he is cozying up to terrorist organizations, it is becoming a very troubling trend, indeed!
Wow. Though unhappy with the current state of affairs, I’m not convinced. Not. Yet. But I respect both pastors’ concerns. Whether or not they have the full picture, I think both are on to something. They see something they disdain.
The video laugh track was annoying. Obviously done on purpose to invite viewers to disrespect the opinions of the two pastors interviewed rather than allow us to possibly take them seriously.
One thing for sure that I’ve been observing… I know hundreds of Christians who study the Bible regularly. Most are very concerned about the current situation and see an arrogance and invitation of self-worship in Obama instead of seeing a man who will give honor and credit to God. That’s not good — no matter what faith one holds. I’ll trust perspectives of people who bother to read and study the Bible and look to God for direction. It’s that simple.
And I refuse to fear Obama or the situation. God is almighty and will have his way with us all, whether Obama is Hitler, the Antichrist, or just some dude in a president-suit treading water in a tsunami.
Well, I have no doubt that as a nation, we have come to put our trust in man and not in his Creator, and that the founders all counseled against such things. This quote from Jefferson has been chilling me a lot lately:
“Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure, when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gifts of God? That they are not to be violated except with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that his justice cannot sleep forever.”
The best part of the segment? The Obama mug breaking. You can almost hear the Obamadisciples screaming “NNNNNOOOOOO!!!!”
agree with nicedeb. apparently, 52% of the electorate (includes legal and illegal, dead and alive, multiple voters) have no “ability to discern”.
…oh and FWIW and IMHO, Mohammed (real name Ubul Kassim) was the antichrist. and his spirit is still here. his “mark” was his illiterate signature from his Arabic tribe, which blind St John would have recognized from when he had sight and dealt with such marks of the “name of a man” and that it looked like a number… and the “Pale” Horseman of Death is a mistranslation for “Green” (the color of Islam) which conquers 1/4 of the earth. (Daar-al-Islam, the House of Islam is roughly 1/4 world’s population)
…oh and fwiw, the seven years of tribulation were: 1938-1945. (only my opinion here, but i believe Hitler was the Black Horseman of Famine. look at the pictures of the emaciated dead from the concentration camps and realize that Hitler’s initial justification against Jews was their control of commercial and market industries.)
I don’t laugh at the comparisons of Obama to Hitler. I have not yet been able to discern any real concern for our country in Obama–he seems to be motivated solely by ego and rage. I highly recommend the article “Understanding Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer” which you can read at http://www.faithfreedom.org/obama.html
