Remember her fervent claim a couple of weeks ago, that she was never informed that the waterboarding interrogation technique was actually being used?
She was….. I repeat WAS lying, just as we suspected.
ABC News has got the goods:
ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was briefed on the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques” on terrorist suspect Abu Zubaydah in September 2002, according to a report prepared by the Director of National Intelligence’s office and obtained by ABC News.
The report, submitted to the Senate Intelligence Committee and other Capitol Hill officials Wednesday, appears to contradict Pelosi’s statement last month that she was never told about the use of waterboarding or other special interrogation tactics. Instead, she has said, she was told only that the Bush administration had legal opinions that would have supported the use of such techniques.
“Appears to contradict…” PUHleese!
She was lying through her teeth, just say it. These Dems in power right now think they can get away with anything.
The report details a Sept. 4, 2002 meeting between intelligence officials and Pelosi, then-House intelligence committee chairman Porter Goss, and two aides. At the time, Pelosi was the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee.
The meeting is described as a “Briefing on EITs including use of EITs on Abu Zubaydah, background on authorities, and a description of particular EITs that had been employed.”
She knew what was going on.
Lying to the American people….and not even to save her own hide, either. It’s worse than that. The weasel was bending with the political winds to smear the very people who helped to keep us safe for 7 years. How much lower can these people get? I guess we’ll be finding out.

Bill Bennet was right when he wrote The Death of Outrage. There was a time when people everywhere used to get very angry when told very obvious bullshit, they used to be truly insulted that the liar would think them so stupid or gulliable that they would dare try such a dumb and obvious trick on them. How dare you! They had an expression for it: don’t insult my intelligence. Ever since Clinton, they don’t get hopping mad when policitians lie to us so disrespectfully, like we were all Morons, or something. Well, this Moron still gets hopping mad about it all!

I’d love to dialog with you about perhaps placing a link there so my readers could take a look at what you’re doing.
Again, keep up the suburb work!

Who the hell cares – democrats and republicans in your country allowed torture. This is a war crime, you ninnies. It is what your grandfathers fought against in the second world war!

Except waterboarding isn’t torture, and it saved lives.
Most Americans agree.
