Via Greg Hengler, Townhall, get a load of this foolish, spittle-flecked, and deranged rant from a man who you just know, five years ago was simpering that Republicans were “questioning his patriotism” every five minutes:
You know, no Republicans in high elected office ever overtly questioned the Democrats’ patriotism. They expressed frustration at the Dems’ blatant politicization of the wars, (which we now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, they were doing).
I wanted the Republicans to question their patriotism. I truly did.
But they had too much class to do that.
And now, the left and their leaders have all but declared open war on conservative dissenters; raining abuses down on us like: teabaggers, evil mongers, terrorists, racists, angry mobs, Nazis, right wing wackos, and my favorite, “false witnesses”.
I think the word for this kind of thing is “projection”.

Dick Cheney will be speaking at the Center for Security Policy tonight.
He won’t be questioning anyone’s patriotism…just their sanity. Text of the speech, here.
UPDATE:
Greta showed some of the speech on her show, tonight:
See also Michelle Malkin’s post from yesterday, on the attempts to silence ACORN whistle blower Anita MonCrief:
ACORN Watch: Fight the thugs
ACORN is a criminal enterprise. It took decades to build up its massive coffers and intricate web of affiliates across the country.
It will take months and years to untangle the entire operation.
And it will take time, money, and and relentless sunshine to dismantle the government-subsidized, partisan racket. It can’t be “reformed.” It is constitutionally corrupt.
Andrew Breitbart has released a trailer for the Philadelphia Acorn sting video; Philadelphia, of course, being the office they were reportedly thrown out of after just a few minutes.
Breitbart’s video has mysteriously disappeared from YouTube, and he’s working on the problem, so keep checking. In the meantime, luckily, it was copied at The Hope For America, and is available for viewing here. (UPDATE: Oops, not anymore).
Please note, that this is a heavily edited trailer. The audio of our subject has been muted for most of the video….. It’s almost as if Breitbart’s baiting Media Matters and ACORN to come out and call them liars again, before he releases the entire unedited thing. I’m hoping that’s the plan, anyway.
Evil YouTube is trying to shut his message down…but that doesn’t explain why the video at The Hope For America disappeared.
Neither explanation suffices.
MORE:
Another theory for the reason the audio of the ACORN worker’s words were muted, appeared in the comments at Breitbart’s site:
For those who were able to view the video before Youtube shut it down, the audio of the Acorn worker was intentionally dropped out to comply with the state’s laws on recording an individual without consent. (Remember Maryland wanting to prosecute James and Hannah!) Acorn figured because of these laws this video would never be released and so they went out and lied about what really happened. What the video does show is that the Acorn workers testimony to Media Matters was all lies. In fact the Acorn worker did meet with, and attempt to council for 30 minutes James and Hannah, individuals she believed to be a pimp and a prostitute looking to smuggle into the county underage girls. She did not throw them out of the office after a few minutes as she claimed. Go FIGURE 6 for 6!!!
That might explain why the video was taken down, because I noticed some audio of the worker at the end of the video, after the camera stopped recording images, but continued recording sound. Perhaps a little more editing is being done to make the video comply with state laws.
Big Government will air the full, unedited video and audio streams later today or tomorrow, in order to demonstrate the poor performance of the media in this story. Bertha Lewis and ACORN will be shown to have lied, and outlets like the Washington Post and Philadelphia Inquirer will have to scrape the egg off of their faces for accepting their word at face value.
At Western CPAC, Andrew Breitbart described himself as a “merry prankster” in the media. He’s certainly got reason for merriment today.
Liz Cheney appeared on Hannity to discuss her new group, Keep America Safe, which she says will also address economic issues because there is a national security aspect to the amount of debt we’ve accrued because it’s weakened the dollar.
A self-described “catalyst for action,” it hosts yearly Clinton Global Summits that bring together left-leaning thinkers and activists with wealthy businesspeople and politicians to meet and mingle and ruminate on the world’s problems. The summit’s goal is to have wealthy CGI attendees “partner” with the leaders of aid and development groups by making financial pledges to their programs. During its last three meetings (2005-07) CGI has announced 600 pledges of more than $10 billion.

It’s nice that she allows Senator Hatch to have a different opinion than hers, though.
I watched this yesterday, and thought it was worth sharing. The Obama administration’s ham-handed attempts to delegitimize Fox News is only one aspect of Obama’s totalitarian designs on the media. Glenn Beck is one of the few people out there connectiong the dots and sounding the alarm.
More on the Marxist led Free Press, (Discover the Networks profile, here):
I’ve been meaning to write a post about the administration’s recent attempts to Alinsky Fox News into obscurity, using Keith freakin’ Olberman and Media Matters talking points, but in the wake of the MSM’s deplorable smear campaign against Rush, CNN’s laughable fact-checking of SNL, etc, I swear to God, I’m too disgusted and offended to be coherent on this issue.
I’ve decided you’d be better served if I just offered some links, and videos.
I’ll start with this clip from Fox’s Special Report. Pay special heed to Charles Krauthammer starting at 3:53:
Is this a new one? After the town halls this past summer, I’m not sure. But calling the police on a reporter because his questions “startled her’, would seem to be breaking new ground in the in the ever expanding realm of political weaseldom.
…after the dinner, I asked Assemblywoman Scozzafava if she supports card check. “Yes, yes I do,” she replied.
At that point someone from her campaign placed himself between Scozzafava and me and told me I should direct all my inquires to the campaign’s spokesman. I nonetheless asked Scozzafava if her signing of the Americans for Tax Reform pledge not to vote to raise taxes means she would oppose any health care bill that raises taxes. “What kind of taxes?” she replied. Then another couple of gentlemen interposed themselves between Scozzafava and me as Scozzafava headed for the door.
I spotted Scozzafava later as she was walking to the parking lot, and asked her: ” Assemblywoman, do you believe that the health-care bill should exclude coverage for abortion?” She didn’t reply. I asked her twice more. Silence.
After she got into her car, I went to my car and fired up my laptop to report the evening’s events.
Minutes later a police car drove into the parking lot with its lights flashing. Officer Grolman informed me that she was called because “there was a little bit of an uncomfortable situation” and then took down my name, date of birth, and address.
“Maybe we do things a little differently here, but you know, persistence in that area, you scared the candidate a little bit,” Officer Grolman told me.
“[Scozzafava] got startled, that’s all,” Officer Grolman added. “It’s not like you’re in any trouble.”
It’s a great feeling to know you’re not alone in your disgust of the leftwing media… You’re not the only one who thinks they’re worse than useless. You’re not the only one who thinks they’re a scourge on the body politic. These videos from Saturdays tea parties, compiled by cprater help drive that notion home.
Chicago
Atlanta
UPDATE:
Okay, one more from Troy, Michigan, which I just saw at Ed Driscoll’s.
This one is notable because a Detroit NBC news crew actually showed up to cover the teaparty.
Also, the camerawoman didn’t much care for being videotaped by a tea party participant, and made her displeasure known by assaulting the camera with her nose.:
If I may be so bold as to answer for the media on this one…NO, they can’t hear you, now. As a result, I didn’t hear you either, until El Marco emailed me about his latest report on the Saturday tea parties at Looking At The Left.
I have personally experienced being in crowds of over one million on three occasions. Once in Santo Domingo, at a Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD) march and rally in the late 1980s. I spent eight hours photographing that crowd. My second experience was when the people of Bali, rallied in support of Megawati Sukarnoputri when she visited Denpasar in the late 1990’s. She was later elected President of Indonesia. Both of those rallies were documented by national newspapers to have exceeded 1 million people.
I was also in Washington DC on 9/12, and I believe based on what I saw there, that 9/12 was a similar rally of over a million.
The “tea party patriots” have been denigrated and attacked repeatedly by corporate media giants and administration officials in the most vicious and lewd terms. They were called racists, nazis, and teabaggers by media and government elites. The size and demeanor of all these rallies goes under-reported or misreported and downgraded. Saturdays “Can You Hear Us Now” rallies in dozens of cities across the U.S. are a direct response to unethical liberal media misreporting in politics, both domestic and foreign.
Here are a few pictures taken by El Marco in front of news outlets in Denver:
Check out El Marko’s full report which is so much more than a photo essay of the Denver rally, but an at length indictment of the media malpractice for the last 20 years.
Yesterday, we saw Jim Hoft’s video of John Ziegler’s reaction to being banned at Western CPAC. This video shows the interview that led to the banning; an interview that turned ugly when the ACU’s John Keene objected to Ziegler’s pointed questions:
Part One:
Part two:
You know who David Keene reminded me of , there?
The conservative movement can not afford to be led by people like that.
The sad conclusion to the WCPAC drama can be seen in part three, along with John Ziegler’s commentary at Mediaite.
Good lord. The head of the ACU has been trashing Sarah Palin and donating money to Arlen friggin’ Specter? Good for Ziegler for calling him out. Someone has to send these Republican dinosaurs a message. That goes for Newt Gingrich, too, who is endorsing Dede Scozzafava, an “ACORN-friendly, union-pandering, tax-and-spend radical Republican”, in essence, “shrugging off” what he calls “conservative purists”.
Frankly I prefer the new *in your face* conservatism of activists like John Ziegler and Andrew Breitbart who are far more effective at spreading a conservative message than these paleocons will ever be.
MORE:
Don’t look now, but Dana Loesch has a rare night off, and is full rant mode:
One of the biggest lies ever told is that the biggest threat to conservatism lies outside the invisible boundaries of the GOP. I disagree; the biggest threat to conservatism is an unchecked Republican party – just as I think the biggest threat to Christianity is a false prophet. There are some false prophets leading the GOP right now: the RNC has an incompetent leader; Newt Gingrich demonstrates that his “American Solution” is to push the GOP center left by backing an ACORN candidate in New York’s 23rd. There are false prophets leading and cowards following: aside from a few Republicans like Michelle Bachmann, few others have denounced the nomination of Dede Scozzafava or Gingrich’s ridiculous proclamation of a “new revolution.” Please. He apparently doesn’t recognize a new revolution when it marches by the millions on Washington.
She’s giving the RNC one week to shape up, or it’s “open season”.
UPDATE:
Captain Ed has more on the ugliness at Western CPAC with video. It sounds like he won’t be going back next year.
Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change skeptic, gave a presentation at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. on 10/14:
We were once a “beacon of freedom” to the world…
In this 4 minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty, scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.
Lord Monckton served as a policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher. He has repeatedly challenged Al Gore to a debate to which Gore has refused. Monckton sued to stop Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educating the public about the myth of global warming.
Americans need to stand up, or it’s over. This great experiment of freedom and Democracy that we like to call the U S of A could be reduced to third world status within our lifetimes.
Lord Monckton received a standing ovation and took a series of questions from members of the audience. Among those questions were these relevent to the forthcoming Copenhagen treaty:
Question: The current administration and the Democratic majority in Congress has shown little regard for the will of the people. They’re trying to pass a serious government agenda, and serious taxation and burdens on future generations. And there seems to be little to stop them. How do you propose we stop Obama from doing this, because I see no way to stop him from signing anything in Copenhagen. I believe that’s his agenda and he’ll do it.
I don’t minimize the difficulty. But on this subject – I don’t really do politics, because it’s not right. In the end, your politics is for you. The correct procedure is for you to get onto your representatives, both in the US Senate where the bill has yet to go through (you can try and stop that) and in [the House], and get them to demand their right of audience (which they all have) with the president and tell him about this treaty. There are many very powerful people in this room, wealthy people, influential people. Get onto the media, tell them about this treaty. If they go to www.wattsupwiththat.com, they will find (if they look carefully enough) a copy of that treaty, because I arranged for it to be posted there not so long ago. Let them read it, and let the press tell the people that their democracy is about to be taken away for no good purpose, at least [with] no scientific basis [in reference to climate change]. Tell the press to say this. Tell the press to say that, even if there is a problem [with climate change], you don’t want your democracy taken away. It really is as simple as that.
Continue reading at WUWT as the treaty is skimmed and some of Lord Monckton’s assertions verified.

Dick Morris reported that Obama already surrendered some our economic sovereignty at the G-20 summit, last month:
The result of this conclave, which France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy hailed as “revolutionary,” was that all the nations agreed to coordinate their economic policies and programs and to submit them to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for comment and approval. While the G-20 nations and the IMF are, for now, only going to use “moral suasion” on those nations found not to be in compliance, talk of sanctions looms on the horizon.
