MSNBC Offers “Clarification” On Rush quote-No Apology

This is yellow journalism at its sleaziest, and most malicious:

During the 3:00PM ET hour of live coverage on MSNBC Friday, co-host David Shuster admitted that racially charged quotes he and other hosts attributed to Rush Limbaugh had not been verified: “MSNBC attributed that quote to a football player who was opposed to Limbaugh’s NFL bid. However, we have been unable to verify that quote independently. So, just to clarify.” Shuster did not formally retract the quote or apologize.

Yeah, they went ahead and aired a dishonest smear about someone they don’t like without verifying it in any way. So…anyway…moving right along.

In other MSNBC News Meghan McCain posted a picture of herself on twitter and then issued a “non-apology- apology”. Shocking, but true.

What Have We Gained From Obama’s “Smart Power”?

reset_button_clinton_030609

Remember Hillary’s “reset button?”  It was a cute prop that was promoted as the Obama administration’s signal that the disastrous policies of the last eight years were going to be “reset”. With the hated and disgraced Bush now back clearing brush again at his ranch in Crawford, the smart kids were going to show the world how it’s done.

Well, after selling out Eastern Europe on missile defense, and allowing Russia to inspect our nuclear sites, the  results are in:

Number-Zero_web

As Charles Krauthammer notes, not only is Russia not budging on Iran sanctions,  it rejects the mere threat of sanctions.

Note how thoroughly Clinton was rebuffed. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov declared that “threats, sanctions and threats of pressure” are “counterproductive.” Note: It’s not just sanctions that are worse than useless, but even the threat of mere pressure.

It gets worse. Having failed to get any movement from the Russians, Clinton herself moved — to accommodate the Russian position! Sanctions? What sanctions? “We are not at that point yet,” she averred. “That is not a conclusion we have reached . . . it is our preference that Iran work with the international community.”

He concludes:

Henry Kissinger once said that the main job of Anatoly Dobrynin, the perennial Soviet ambassador to Washington, was to tell the Kremlin leadership that whenever they received a proposal from the United States that appeared disadvantageous to the United States, not to assume it was a trick.

No need for a Dobrynin today. The Russian leadership, hardly believing its luck, needs no interpreter to understand that when the Obama team clownishly rushes in bearing gifts and “reset” buttons, there is nothing ulterior, diabolical, clever or even serious behind it. It is amateurishness, wrapped in naivete, inside credulity. In short, the very stuff of Nobels.

They’re laughing at us. The world is laughing at us.

Paul Mirengoff of Powerline offered this a few days ago:

If my Russian sources are reliable, the answer is that Obama is viewed there mostly with amusement. Some of the amusement stems from his trip to Russia this summer. My sources were amused by the flotilla of Air Force jets that brought him and his entourage to Moscow. They were also taken with (but not necessarily impressed by) the fact that Obama and his crew took over the Ritz Carlton hotel, where rooms start at around $1,200 per night and the presidential suite goes for $13,000.

The Marriott had been good enough for Presidents Clinton and Bush. Rooms there — described as similar to Marriott rooms in the U.S. — can be had for around $350. I was also told (but have not been able to confirm) that Bush himself stayed at the Ambassador’s residence, rather than in a hotel as Obama did.

Russia has seen self-aggrandizing, luxury loving heads of state before. What really has turned Russian heads, according to my sources, is Obama’s eagerness to give things away. The Russians, you see, are hard-nosed. They drive hard bargains in their dealings with themselves and perhaps harder still with outsiders. They may even take what they can’t get through hard bargaining when you’re not looking.

Throughout the Cold War, except to some extent during the Carter years, the U.S. responded more or less in kind to Russian hard-bargaining. In the modern era, President Bush, prodded by Vice President Cheney, eventually did so as well.

It probably never occurred to the Russians that a U.S. president would come to power hoping to “reset” relations with Russia on some basis other than the hard bargain and the “trust but verify” mentality. Yet this is precisely what has fallen into the Kremlin’s lap. From what I’ve heard, the Russian elites can neither believe their good fortune nor hide their amusement.

Oh, in answer to my original question… what did we get for Obama’s smart power?

Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize.

And apparently he’s pretty proud of that accomplishment.

UPDATE:

Speaking of the Nobel Peace Prize…Here’s Steven Crowder take:

Try as he might, Crowder fails at his attempt to emulate a tough, outlaw rapper. His cute, baby-face gives him away.

Thousands Protest Obama In……San Francisco?!

Wow, when a liberal President can’t even attend a Democrat fundraiser in a leftist stronghold like San Francisco without attracting thousands of protesters…whoa. There’s trouble in paradise:

ABC: Thousands protest during Obama visit:

People started lining up a few hours before President Obama was scheduled to arrive at the Westin St. Frances Hotel. Protestors had a lot to say about health care and the war in Afghanistan. They argued with each other and held signs with strong messages for the president.

“People in this country had a lot of trust to vote for him to make a change and they really didn’t know what kind of change,” said Pleasanton resident Karla Bruen.

The majority of the protestors didn’t vote for Obama, but some of them did. They said when it comes to health care reform, Obama isn’t leaning as far left as they would like.

“I feel that he could be doing a lot more. I feel that Obama needs to come forward and support single payer health care,” said Petaluma resident Stan Gold.

Ah… there were lefty protesters there, too. That would explain the bongo drums.

Video: Glenn Beck’s Expose Of Chairman Mao Fan, Anita “Done”

I saw this when it aired, earlier this afternoon, and was flabbergasted.

It seems that Obama’s White House Communications Director, Anita Dunn has expressed her great admiration for the murderous Communist dictator, Mao Tse Tung.

To high school kids.

On tape.

Mao Tse Tung said “You fight your war, and I’ll fight my mine.”

One of Ms. Dunn’s favorite political philosophers sure laid out his own path, and made his own choices:

Kill tally: 14 to 20 million deaths from starvation during the ‘Great Leap Forward’. Tens of thousands killed and millions of lives ruined during the ‘Cultural Revolution’.

In what’s considered the definitive biography of Chairman Mao, Mao: The Unknown Story, it is estimated that Mao Tse Tung killed 70 million people, making him, the greatest mass murderer in human history.

Here are some of her fave rave’s quotable quotes from his “Little Red Book”:

Speech at the Chinese Communist Party’s National Conference on Propaganda Work (March 12, 1957)

This passage was used to justify the intensive “reeducation” sessions which tried to bring all Chinese people into line. The final qualifying phrases were usually ignored.

In our country bourgeois and petty-bourgeois ideology, anti-Marxist ideology, will continue to exist for a long time. Basically, the socialist system has been established in our country. We have won the basic victory in transforming the ownership of the means of production, but we have not yet won complete victory on the political and ideological fronts. In the ideological field, the question of who will win in the struggle between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie has not been really settled yet. We still have to wage a protracted struggle against bourgeois and petty-bourgeois ideology. It is wrong not to understand this and to give up ideological struggle. All erroneous ideas, all poisonous weeds, all ghosts and monsters, must be subjected to criticism; in no circumstance should they be allowed to spread unchecked. However, the criticism should be fully reasoned, analytical and convincing, and not rough, bureaucratic, metaphysical or dogmatic.

“Problems of War and Strategy” (November 6, 1938)

In its original context this saying meant that the Communists would never be allowed to come to power in China without a successful violent revolution. In the context of the Cultural Revolution it meant that the Chinese People’s Army had to play a leading role in sustaining, purifying, and spreading Communism. And abroad it was often used to justify revolutionary terrorism.

Every Communist must grasp the truth, “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.”

Speech at the Moscow Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties (November 18, 1957)

Mao was widely ridiculed abroad for stating that the U.S. and its nuclear arsenal were “paper tigers.” Many supposed that Mao would have willingly plunged the world into a nuclear war out of sheer ignorance. But it seems more probable that, lacking such arms himself, he used his most powerful weapon: the bluff. The bomb was not a very effective tool of diplomacy because the threat it posed was only as credible as the willingness of any nation to plunge the world into a holocaust, very probably destroying itself in the process. Mao had every reason to let the world think he was not afraid of the bomb no matter what his private thoughts might have been.

I have said that all the reputedly powerful reactionaries are merely paper tigers. The reason is that they are divorced from the people. Look! Was not Hitler a paper tiger? Was Hitler not overthrown? I also said that the tsar of Russia, the emperor of China and Japanese imperialism were all paper tigers. As we know, they were all overthrown. U.S. imperialism has not yet been overthrown and it has the atom bomb. I believe it also will be overthrown. It, too, is a paper tiger.

Part two:

Part three:

Remember when this used to be true?:

But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao,
You ain’t gonna make it with anyone anyhow.

Not so in 2009 ObamAmerica.

Liberals don’t see anything wrong with admiring Communist dictators. That’s why you don’t hear an outcry about the tea party signs that portray Obama as Communist/Socialist/Marxist. These signs are staples at tea parties, (heck, I’ve created some myself).

tea-party-signs

Libs hate the Obama/Hitler signs, which  are actually rare, and almost entirely La Rouche supporters’ creations, but you rarely hear complaints about the numerous hammer an sickles seen at tea parties.

Former CBO Director:Obama’s Fiscal Policies “Laughable”

Democrats like to call Republicans  “the party of no”. They like to accuse Republicans of having no plans of their own.  They insist that doing something is better than doing nothing.

Well as far as the stimulus is concerned, doing nothing would have been better.

“The Obama Administration’s claims of fiscal responsibility are both hypocritical …. [a]nd laughable,” Douglas Holtz-Eakin, who served as director of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) from 2003 through 2005, wrote in an Oct. 14 memo to Republican members of the House of Representatives.

Holtz-Eakin said in the memo that the hastily written stimulus bill enacted in February–the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009–was “poorly designed” and that was “probably one of the reasons why we’ve lost 3 million private-sector jobs since it became law.”

“A minority (under $300 billion) of the near trillion-dollar bill cut taxes, and very little cut marginal tax rates,” he said. “The result was no real improvement in economic incentives.”

Holtz-Eakin’s memo was in response to a letter sent to House Republicans on Monday by White House National Economic Council Director Larry Summers. Summers’s letter blamed most of the economy’s ailments on the Bush administration and insisting that the economy is on the upswing.  Summers, in turn, was responding to early GOP criticisms of the stimulus.

“We have walked a substantial distance back from the economic abyss and are on the path toward economic recovery,” Summers wrote to House Republicans.

What Summers conveniently forgets to mention is the fact  that “under Republicans the deficit never exceeded 3.6 percent of GDP and at the close of fiscal year 2008 the debt-to-GDP ratio was 40 percent,” according to Holtz-Eakin.

“The CBO indicates that under the administration’s plans, the deficit will never fall below 4 percent of GDP and the debt-to-GDP ratio will be 82 percent and spiraling upward,” wrote Holtz-Eakin.

Zombie Takes Media Matters To Task On “Safe School Czar” Kevin Jennings

harry haysA picture of Harry Hays from the 1990 book,The Trouble with Harry Hay, by Stuart Timmons,  a chapter of which was included in the 1994 anthology Becoming Visible, which Jennings compiled and edited. Zombie argues that this means it is beyond doubt that Jennings had read ‘The Trouble with Harry Hay’.

Ouch, talk about an uneven battle of wits. Zombie has lowered the boom on lefty hacks, Media Matters, who have been working feverishly to defend Obama’s “Safe School Czar, Kevin Jennings, in a post written specifically for them to ponder.

Yes, Harry Hay was a big NAMBLA supporter.

Yes,  Kevin Jennings  admired him.

Yes,  Kevin Jennings knew about Harry Hays’ NAMBLA support.

Zombie provides the ample evidence.

Where I disagree with Zombie, is his/her assessment that such a profound lapse in judgment can be forgiven if:

Jennings and the Obama administration to enter “crisis management mode”: In other words, they should get in front of the story, apologize, acknowledge mistakes, and vow to never repeat them.

I think this is the wrong person for “Safe School Czar”, period, as should be clear from the evidence Zombie presents.

Byron York, who has been staying on top of this story, reports:

53 House Republicans call on Obama to fire Kevin Jennings

A group of 53 Republican members of the House has sent a letter to the president asking for the removal of Kevin Jennings, the gay activist who now runs the Education Department’s Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. “It is clear that Mr. Jennings lacks the appropriate qualifications and ethical standards to serve in this capacity,” the lawmakers write.

The letter was written by Rep. Steve King, who last week became the first lawmaker to call for Jennings to be fired. Among the signers of the new letter are some prominent members of the House GOP, including Republican Conference chairman Rep. Mike Pence, along with Reps. Paul Ryan, Darrell Issa, John Carter, Patrick McHenry, Spencer Bachus, Duncan Hunter, Michelle Bachmann, and 45 others.

“As the founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Mr. Jennings has played an integral role in promoting homosexuality and pushing a pro-homosexual agenda in America’s schools—an agenda that runs counter to the values that many parents desire to instill in their children,” the lawmakers write in the letter to Obama. “There is more to safe and drug free schools than can be accomplished from the narrow view of Mr. Jennings who has, for more than 20 years, almost exclusively focused on promoting the homosexual agenda.”

Honduras Folds – (Or Not) Updated

Sadly, the pressure from Washington must have gotten to them.

A report out of Tegucigalpa, this morning:

Honduran negotiators have reached agreement on ending a political crisis triggered by President Manuel Zelaya’s ouster in a June coup.

”We have agreed in a document on point No. 6, which relates to the restitution of the powers of state to where they were before June 28, 2009,” Mr Zelaya’s representative said.

This of course implies that Chavez acolyte, Zelaya would be returned to power for a short period until the a new administration is installed next January after the Nov. 29 election. How much mischief he could engage in before the election is anyone’s guess.

Neither Zelaya or interim President Roberto Micheletti are on the ballot.

UPDATE:

It appears that the initial report of Zelaya’s reinstatement was inaccurate:

The latest from Gateway Pundit:

Report: Zelaya Will Be Exiled to Spain?– Charged With Crimes If He Returns to Honduras

The latest speculation comes from my sources inside the Micheletti government.
President Micheletti will step down and may be moved to a position connected to the Honduran Supreme Court.

Former President Manuel Zelaya will be exiled to Spain. If he comes back to Honduras he will be charged for his many crimes discovered by the current government after Zelaya was ousted for circumventing the Honduran Constitution.

Is Obama Turning Us into the Next Evil Empire?

(I’ve been wondering the same thing)…

It’s not just that he has adopted a policy that was unthinkable for most of America’s history. There is something far more striking, far more telling and far more alarming: in the current Honduran situation, Zelaya is precisely the man the Soviet Union — that evil empire — would have sided with.
Now I want you to let that sink in for a moment . . . .
This reality merely illustrates the obvious in an emotionally gripping way. While Reagan opposed Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega by funding his anti-communist opponents, Obama sides with a reinvented Ortega in supporting Zelaya. In doing so, he also lines up with unrepentant communists, either in name or spirit, such as Chavez and Fidel Castro. Fine company you keep there, Mr. Obama.

Ben Kopp has been a fighter since the day he was born. When he was born his mother was given morphine to stop her labor so the doctors could deliver him via a cesarean section. But it caused his heart rate to slow and when he was born he wasn’t breathing. But he recovered to the amazement of everyone. “Ben has always been up for a challenge,” said his mother, Jill Stephenson. “He came into the world a fighter.”

On July 10, 2009, Cpl. Benjamin Kopp was wounded in the Helmand province of Afghanistan. He was hit in the popliteal artery in his knee and the loss of blood caused him to go into cardiac arrest on the operating table at a battalion surgical center. As a result of his injuries, Cpl. Kopp developed swelling in his brain and was put into an induced coma to try and save his life. But he died on July 18.

But his service didn’t end with his passing. Upon his death, by his own desire, his organs were donated to people in need, saving their lives.

“Please continue to say prayers for all of the men and women who so proudly serve our country,” Stephenson wrote online. “Ben had a deep love of country and has just left a legacy of heroism for all of us to cherish. Be as proud of him as I was as his mother.”

No, Rush Limbaugh Isn’t A Racist

rush-limbaugh

Team Obama started off  the first year of the Obama administration with an attempt to diminish Rush’s influence by scapegoating him.

If you remember, a full scale assault spurred on by liberal think tanks, and directed by the White House was tripped by Rush’s brutally frank comment that he hoped Obama would fail to enact his Socialist policies. The Democrats thought that they had struck gold and used the “I hope he fails” remark to demonize Rush, and paint him as the leader of the Republican party. Attack ads were created, as well as a DNC sponsored contest to find an anti-Rush slogan for a billboard, the winner of which turned out to be the very definition of FAIL.

The campaign to isolate and discredit Rush ultimately failed. Karl Rove, writing for the WSJ, offered some reasons why:

Was it smart politics and good policy? No. For one thing, it gave the lie to Barack Obama’s talk about ending “the political strategy that’s been all about division” and “the score-keeping and the name-calling.” The West Wing looked populated by petulant teenagers intent on taking down a popular rival. Such talk also shortens the president’s honeymoon by making him look like a street-fighting Chicago pol instead of an inspirational, unifying figure. The upward spike in ratings for Rush and other conservative radio commentators shows how the White House’s attempt at a smackdown instead energized the opposition.

Did it do any good with voters not strongly tied to either party? I suspect not. With stock markets down, unemployment growing, banks tottering, consumers anxious, business leaders nervous, and the economy shrinking, the Obama administration’s attacks on a radio talk show host made it seem concerned with the trivial.

It also helped increase Rush’s audience.

Fast forward to today. The Democrats are persistent critters. They know that if they repeat a lie often enough…and just keep hammering away at it, they can create a narrative, and shift public opinion. So they’re doubling down on Rush, using obviously fake quotes that have appeared on the internet, and attributing them to him.

Al Sharpton and Jesse jackson have led the attack, in the wake of his bid to buy an NFL team.

In the tank for Obama, GE- MSNBC gave Dave Zirin, a former writer for Communist party website, a forum to spread his poisonous venom in order to continue this attempt to prevent Rush from buying the St. Louis Rams - liberal fascism on display once again, for all to see.

Huffington Post and other leftist luminaries have jumped on board, as well as certain members of Congress.

Rush has threatened legal action against the  media outlets engaging in this slander.

And apparently, the talking point for today is that Rush belongs to a golf club in Florida that has never had a black member. Whoop-di-doo.

That is where we stand, today, and here is why this latest attempt to diminish Rush will fail:

Nobody keeps an audience as large as Rush Limbaugh’s by being a racist. When these confused lefties accuse Rush of being a racist, they are also impugning his audience of approximately 20 million listeners per week. This is as scurrilous and obscene as the attempts to discredit the tea partiers as racist rednecks. It convinces no one, and it will backfire, as every attack on Rush eventually has.

I’ve listened to Rush since 1990. He doesn’t have a racist bone in his body, but he’s not afraid to rock the boat, and he’s not cowed by political correctness.  That is what has endeared him to so many over the years.

MORE:

Here is an example a left wing site used to expose Limbaugh’s racism:

Here’s more supposedly “vile” racism:

Rush’s thoughtful discussion of a race baiting movement that has “trained young blacks to hate their country” is what is determined to be vile, and racist. The young turks ridicule what Limbaugh says, but are unable to factually dispute any of it.  Rush mentioned Stanley Kurtz’s  research of Obama and Ayers in Chicago. What in particular about Kurtz’s extensive research of the Annenberg project, which pushed radicalism on schools, do the race baiters dispute? Calling his work stupid, and crazy and racist doesn’t count as an argument.

Robin of Berkeley, a recovering liberal, and psychologist writes for the American Thinker about some horrifying examples of reverse racism,  seen at schools in recent years as a result of this America-hating movement to blame whites for everything.

Meet Julie, age 24, a survivor of public schools in Boston.  She now has such severe anxiety that she cuts her arms to relieve the tension.
What did she learn at school?  Blame Whitey.
Every day she was shoved and cursed at and threatened.  She knew that if she complained, she’d be labeled a racist.  Then she’d be like raw meat to vultures.

One example of many.

You can see the trend in that awful video of the white kid getting beaten up by black kids on the school bus in St. Louis.

Robin cites Ayn Rand’s word’s from 40 years ago:

The altruists are now. . . struggling to induce racial guilt — by proclaiming that people must suffer and pay for the (alleged) sins of their father.

There is no such thing as collective guilt. . This country has no guilt to atone for in regard to its black citizens. Slavery was an enormous evil.  But a country that fought a civil war to abolish slavery has atoned for it
How can an individual be held responsible for the views of others, whom he has no power to control?  What can make him responsible for them?  The answer we hear is:  The fact that his skin is of the same color as theirs.
If this is not an obliteration of morality, of intellectual integrity, of individual rights, of the freedom of man’s mind, of the First Amendment, you take it from here;  I can’t — it turns my stomach.”

Yes it’s stomach turning to pit racial and ethnic groups against each other; to make children hate themselves; to disregard people’s character and behavior.

And it’s not racist to make note of it.

Bloggers rally to Rush’s side:

…how Rush treats people — in the Martin Luther King aspiration that the content of one’s character is what matters, not the color of one’s skin. Yet, in the media narrative, he’s somehow the one who’s got a race issue — and the guys who trade on race, live and breathe it 24/7, are held up as our public conscience. The Left calls this “progress.” I call it perversion.

There’s only one way this nonsense ever goes away: When we say “enough!” and tell the race-baiters their time is up. It’s too much of an industry, so it probably won’t happen tomorrow. But the Sixties ideal is crashing and burning before our very eyes, and I think it’ll take a lot of its warped obsessions down with it.

Lloyd Marcus, The American Thinker: If Rush Limbaugh is a Racist, Are His 20 Million Listeners Also?

The liberal media and the Left have been attempting to silence Rush and other conservatives for years. Make no mistake about it, their latest bogus “Rush is a racist” campaign is another stealth attack on our freedom of speech. It is extremely important that lovers of freedom rally around Rush Limbaugh. Silencing Rush would be a major victory in their quest to silence and control us all.

Video:New ‘Keep America Safe’ PAC Ad

This is long overdue... Liz Cheney, Bill Kristol, and Debra Burlingame  have created a new foreign policy PAC:

Keep America Safe will focus on issues like troop levels, missile defense, detainees, and interrogation, according to Liz Cheney, who is heading the group along with Weekly Standard editor William Kristol and Debra Burlingame, the hawkish sister of an American Airlines pilot killed in the September 11 attacks…

“The Left has dozens of organizations and tens of millions of dollars dedicated to undercutting the war on terror,” said Kristol, a seasoned partisan warrior. “The good guys need some help too.”

The group’s mechanics are largely a product of former campaign aides to Senator John McCain: Michael Goldfarb, now a Weekly Standard blogger, is an adviser to the group; its executive director is McCain war room chief Aaron Harison, and the video was produced by Justin Germany, the McCain aide who produced a campaign video titled, “The One,” which mocked Obama as a messianic figure.

Here’s the website – their first ad is a doozy, I love it, but Allahpundit frets about the “partisan signposts”, like the Fox News clips:

Liz Cheney has been on quite a roll, this year, I do hope she has political ambitions.

Experts Agree: Obama Administration’s Attacks On Fox News A Mistake

It’s hard to surf the internet today without running into one commentator after another sharply criticizing the Obama administration for it’s broadside against Fox News. Everyone is talking about it, and everyone agrees that it’s petty, whiny, and self destructive.

So why are they doing it? Rush, on his show, today, darkly hinted that the chaos Obama causes with with his attacks against opponents, is purposeful.

The Curmudgeon Emeritus posits that Obama’s malignant narcissism is at fault:

” It would be unreasonable to imagine that Obama, whose opinion of himself is so high that it’s a wonder his nose doesn’t bleed continuously, would tolerate any degree of dissent from his apotheosis. He lives for adulation; he believes he deserves it. If you fail to grant him his due, that makes you evil. Therefore, Fox News is evil and must be destroyed”.

Could it be that?….or is the Obama administration just, as Neil Cavuto suggests…overworked and snippy?

Citizens Protest At NJ School Over Obama Indoctrination Song

school protest

Parents and other concerned citizens gathered outside of the New Jersey elementary school to express their dismay over this video, which appeared on YouTube, last month, revealing children in grades K-2nd grade singing songs of praise to President Obama, something, we’ve never seen in this country, before.

“Educate, don’t indoctrinate; Educate don’t indoctrinate,” they chanted.

obamasongprotest

The demonstrators protested across the street from the “B” Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington Township. They carried signs saying “No Kiddie Propaganda” and “No Politics In The Classroom.”

They are angry about a video made at the school last March.

The school claims that all of the parents involved had a chance to read the lyrics to the song, and attend the assembly where the kids sang the songs, but that is disputed,

“These words never came home. Obama. Say yes to Obama. Find your inner Obama. That’s brainwashing,” Gina Pronchick said.

“This is not America. This is a communist country.”

Added parent Gina Altokova: “I came from former Soviet Union as a kid. I was singing songs to the leader Brezhnev and all the others. They were bigger than God.

“Millions of us were singing songs to Gerat leaders. This is a shame. This must stop.”

“I have no problem with the song. Kids sing songs and make rhymes,” one person said.

I bet she would have had a huge problem if they had been forced to sing songs about George W. Bush.

“I have a little cousin who goes to this school when the whole thing was going on and I personally think this is ridiculous,” added Lauren Robinson of Burlington Township.

Protesters maintained the song crossed a line.

“They need to stick to reading, writing and arithmetic,” one person opposed said.

You can watch the counter protesters unironically chanting “mmm mmm mmm! Barack Hussein Obama” on the video at the link.
