Quietly, and without fanfare, the former President and First Lady visited with wounded soldiers and their families near the site “of the worst mass shooting on an Army post in the United States”.
The Bushes made their private visit to Fort Hood’s Darnall Army Medical Center on Friday night. Bush spokesman David Sherzer said in an e-mail that the couple thanked Fort Hood’s military leaders and hospital staff for the “amazing care they are providing.”

It’s just been too much of a week for good ol Jugears. He needs a break. This poor S.O.B. was rudely interupted by a minor shooting incident in Ft. Hood, Texas. Unemployment is up over 10 percent, due to Bush, and that weighs heavy on his little brain. On top of all of this, that mean Fox network has been saying naughty things about him again.

I’ve stood over the coffins of those who died at peace, servicemembers who have faced war, and I was nothing but a REMF and would be in war if I ever saw it, but I saw those guys, as they were being layed into the ground, and I was supposed to honor them.

Political Punch says that the reason Obama hasn’t visited OR EVEN CALLED any of the victims or their families is because the “next of kin notification” isn’t complete.
They’ve been reporting for days that two of the victims are from the Chicago area… their kin has been notified, and they are grieving the loss of their loved ones.
Why can’t Obama be bothered to speak with them?
Oh… right.
Because he is an immature brat, focused only on his takeover of health care, and expansion of government.
Talking to the victims of a terrorist attack would be a drag.

If we don’t see it by now then I don’t know what it will take. George Bush and his wife have a sincere respect for those in the military while Obama and his wife don’t. I don’t understand the photographers. If he truly cared then why the photographers? He obviously doesn’t truly give a sh.t about the dead soldiers, he only gives a sh.t about the perception of others. I’m starting to hate that son-of-a-bitch!
