Janet Napolitano: “Actually The System Didn’t Work”

After 24 hours of intense verbal pummeling from those on the right as well as the left, Napolitano has changed her tune – now, “the system failed miserably:.

Notice how Jannie deployed the old  – “quote taken out of context”  Obama standby.

JANET NAPOLITANO: Sure, I think the comment is being taken out of context. What I’m saying is that once the incident occurred, moving forward, we were immediately able to notify the 128 flights in the air of protective measures to take, immediately able to notify law enforcement on the ground, airports both domestically, internationally, all carriers, all of that happening within 60 to 90 minutes, so –

I hate to open with an off-topic comment; but, is it just me, or is the picture of Ear Leader at the bottom a little Aquaman-esque? I mean, in the pic, he appears to be riding his own bow-wake like a dolphin due to the immeasurable thrust of his super-muscular kicking legs.

It’s bad enough we have this incompetent boob in charge of the safety of our airlines, but what about Dear Leader? Where the hell is he? I know this gets old, but George Bush would be fried in the press by now. He rightfully would be criticized for not returning to D.C. immediately. Dems would have been calling for his impeachment. We have a major attack on a U.S. airline, more than likely from Al Qaeda, and Dear Leader is swimming in the ocean without a care in the world. I hate our press.

Nothing for three days. Then he sets the teleprompter at 78 rpm and then off for a round of golf. I’m glad the youngster was not seriously hurt but secretly glad his O’liness had to interrupt his golf game.

  8. William in Arizona Says:

Incompitano has dropped the ball numerous times now — border security, immigration enforcement, online TSA policies publication, and now the air travel watch lists (among many other gaffs). She is in far over her head and, even worse, rolls with the shifts in political winds rather than do the right thing each time. On this and other significant matters which paint the administration and its appointees negatively, Obama is nowhere to be found for days on end, essentially ‘voting present’ and waiting for the news cycle to change.

What a pathetic, sorry state of management this country finds itself in these days.

  9. Cold Fury » Manufactured News(tm) Network Says:

[...] UPDATE: “Obama”, not “Osama”. Nevermind. (Washington, DC) Secretary Janet Napolitano is conducting a good, old-fashioned Soviet Self-Denunciation Tour: “When I said the system worked, I meant Nutri-System. That Dan Marino is looking good! And when I said it went like “clockwork”, I meant the color-coded Threat Level should be raised to ‘Clockwork Orange’.” [...]
