It was a big-un.
I just received word from Political Chips via email, that the Kansas City tea party at Community America Ballpark on April 15th was one of the largest in the nation. An estimated 14,000 individuals passed through the gates at some point during the 8 hours the venue was open to the public.
So shazzam!
A large number of those who attended were military vets and current members of the military. I was astounded by the number. Watch them file onto the field, after KMBZ talk radio host Darla Jaye gives them their marching orders, and listen to one of the sweetest renditions of God Bless America you’ll ever hear, by Overland Park teenager, Ashtyn Hutchings. :

Congrats on the KC TP attendance last week
I think we had a nice size crowd, but estimates ranged from 8K to 16K (I think upper range a tad too high) and we had rain in the middle of it, so that changed things too.
But good for you folks! Woo-hoo. In the big scheme of things we hang together.
