Will Collier at Pajamas Media answers that question with satire.
The following is, of course, satire — though the author continues to wait for the AP, Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Anderson Cooper, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, and the rest of the MSM and political class to give the New Orleans beating the coverage it deserves.
He’ll wait in vain. Allie Bautsch and her boyfriend, Joe Brown were the wrong color, social class, and political party to become media sensations. They didn’t fit the narrative. So this story will never be given the attention it deserves.
That is the country we live in.

What is also interesting is that this whole affair was supposed to be nothing but “misunderstanding” (so the Lefty blogophere said) due to the “violent nature’ of Nawlins.
Of course. That was the first attempt at shooting this down.
Fortunately for the Left, they need not even try.
Their brethren in the Slipstream Media made sure the incident, as you say, is not worthy of further commentary.
Let a REAL “N-word” incident come to light however (not the phony accusation that has no feet) and we can be sure all hell would break loose.
