Instructions for Filing Complaints Against Unethical Doctors

This past weekend we saw clear evidence of  doctors issuing  sick notes for healthy teachers so they could play hookie from school and get paid for it.  True to Dem Socialist form, these brainiacs think the taxpayers should pay for their  protest time.
As Instapundit noted,
If the doctor involved is actually signing these, he should be brought before the medical licensing board. I would imagine that criminal prosecution is possible, too. And if his name is being forged, then somebody else is a criminal.
Many of these doctors have been identified and their names can be located at Left Coast Rebel’s post, Hacks and Quacks.

For doctor reviews, ratings and general information you can visit Vitals.com. It is a great source to find a doctor in your area.

1)  Print a copy of the Complaint Formand fill in the appropriate information.2)  If your complaint involves a health care profession, you may also print out  the Consent For Release of Information Form and fill in the appropriate information.  Completion of this form is voluntary.

Video: Union Thuggery and Intimidation In Madison, WI

I think it’s important to keep in mind that the President’s political arm, Organizing for America, bused in some of the nearly 70,000 protesters Saturday, and last week he called the bill “an assault on unions.” In fact, it’s now been said that Obama denounced Governor Walker faster than he denounced Mubarak.

Charlie Martin at The PJ Tatler directed attention to this Daily Caller story from Saturday’s protests:

Police officers in Madison detained and subsequently released a labor union operative who attempted, somewhat successfully, to destroy the speaker system at the Tea Party counter rally Saturday.

Police would not release the name of the man, or any more details, but eyewitnesses told The Daily Caller he ripped the wiring out of several different speaker systems. Part of the sound system went out for about five minutes.

It makes you wonder whose side the police are on? As Martin notes:

The puzzling — okay, it’s not puzzling, I’m more cynical than that — the striking thing here is that the police didn’t intervene when the union thug was merely destroying property to impede the Tea Partier’s right to speak; they did finally act when the thug progressed to assaulting the Tea Party guy; and they’ve already released the thug, apparently without charges.

The second man in video above described the hate-filled, and vitriolic mob the tea partiers had to walk past to get to their rallying spot.

Via Fitzworth at AoSHQ, an Independent school teacher and union member described her experience in detail:

We walked by displays set up by several socialist groups, and doctors giving fraudulent notes to teachers so they can get paid with taxpayer money for protesting. I was very surprised and disturbed by this.

At the rally supporting the bill we agreed with most of what we heard, especially “Joe the Plummer” and the last young woman who spoke: they seemed to say everything we hear around our kitchen table and from friends and family in our everyday lives.

But then there was the mob that everyone had to go through to get to and from the area for the support rally. I wish I had video taped trying to leave. I had no sign, and was not an active participant – but I experienced first-hand the intimidation and hostility of either union mercenaries, or even worse, of the good people who have been getting whipped into an exhausted and desparate state by the union sponsored liberal rhetoric and atmosphere.

They stood blocking the way, leaving only a narrow two-person-wide space for thousands to funnel through. It was scary, claustrophic, and made me feel panicked. They glared, yelled, and one guy pushed me so hard I flew two feet forward. I thought my husband was going to lose it, so we stopped and just stood to the side where we were. I watched a lot of people from the rally pass in front of me experiencing the same thing. I saw middle class, working class people who looked liked my sister, my mother, my son or daughter, my neighbors… being taunted and intimidated by a mob hoping to provoke mayhem or violence. I looked for police help to secure a path or help with our exit, but I only saw them standing in isolated clusters amongst themselves, the nearest over 50 feet away from the crowd.

She goes on to say:

As the daughter of a police officer, I’m heartbroken to experience their callous indifference for my safety, that I can only understand as their passive support for protesters, and which makes them complicit in the intimidation.

Go to AoSHQ for full story and video of Union protesters blowing whistles while the tea partiers said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Via Doug Ross -  Apparently The New York Times is reporting that “the White House and the DNC itself really had nothing at all to do with the public service union protests in Madison”.

Absolute nonsense.  Brad Woodhouse, the Democratic Party Communications Director, was spotted on Twitter crowing about Dem involvement:

According to Politico‘s Ben Smith, Obama’s Political arm, OFA has published at least 54 tweets promoting the rallies.

While duplicitous Dems  desperately try to project the idea that the public overwhelmingly supports their cause, the latest Rasmussen poll shows that VOTERS SIDE WITH SCOTT WALKER… Only 38% Support Radical Gov Union Workers.

Saturday saw the largest crowds of protesters in Madison, WI, yet,  with tens of thousands of union members rallying at the Capital, and Jurassic commies from other states astroturfed in to join the fray. Conservatives, (being off work for the weekend) also showed up to counter-protest, led by Americans For Prosperity. Also taking part in his new favorite past time, (“bar tricks” at lefty protests), was Andrew Breitbart, who was able to snag a doctor’s note  from an ethics challenged doctor:

Michelle Malkin reports:

Doctors told an interviewer in video from the MacIver Institute that the fake teachers have “mental health” challenges; another defensive doctor accused the interviewer of interfering with “private,” protected “confidential” consultations — in the middle of a public demonstration.

***

Makes perfect sense, doesn’t it? White House used fake doctors to promote Obamacare. DNC/Big Labor protesters use fake doctors’ notes to protect Wisconsin union monopoly.

Wisconsin blogger/professor Ann Althouse will be reporting more on her interview with the group of doctors handing out the notes.

See Malkin for much more on Saturday’s protests, including recourse for the voters having to deal with AWOL Dem Senators.

Karl Denninger at The Market Ticker tells Wisconsin’s Unions: Sit And Spin:

The unions want everyone to pay more taxes.  But we have paid more taxes.  What we haven’t gotten for our taxes is better results.  So we’re paying for nothing – a pig in a poke.

The money doesn’t exist.  Private sector employees have had to suck it up, work harder and get paid less.  There’s no way around this – you can’t spend what you don’t have forever.

The public unions think they’re exempt from the laws of mathematics.  They’re not.  All they can do is what they’re doing – try to hold people up.

It’s time to say no and shut them down.

You’re free to speak all you want.  You’re free to protest.  You’re not free to spend the taxpayers money to pay you to protest, and you’re not free to lie about the reason you’re not showing up for work.

When I ran my company if you lied to me about why you were not coming to workyour job was toast.  No ifs, ands, buts or maybes, and no second chances.

Ever.

Either go back to work or get fired and replaced.

End of discussion.

Doug Ross says this fraud exemplifies everything that’s wrong with unions and the Democrat party.

Democrats: flee the state rather than honor the democratic process. Protest having to pay a measly amount of their salaries toward their own retirement and benefits, which everyone else in America has to do. Hold an illegal strike under the guise of a “sick out” — leaving kids and parents in the lurch.

Ross also comments on the unrealistic,  math-challenged complaints of the unions:

The economy is flat on its back and the states’ pension systems are about to collapse.

And the crybabies in Wisconsinare complaining that they’ll have to contribute 5.8% of their salaries towards pensions and contribute 12.6% of their health insurance premiums (hint: the national averages for real workers — real because they’re the taxpayers, not the tax-takers — are 7.5% and 20%, respectively).

What in the heck is the matter with these people?

Friday free-For-All Cheesehead Edition

Via Breitbart TV: Teacher’s Union Protester Robotically Chants Slogan Instead of Answering CNN Interviewer’s Question:

Michelle Malkin is calling the showdown in Wisconsin: Apocalypse Now: Wisconsin vs. Big Labor; Plus: More out-of-state union recruiting & another teacher speaks up for Walker:

As the free-market MacIver Institute in Wisconsin points out, the benefits concessions Walker is asking public union workers to make would still maintain their health insurance contribution rates at the second-lowest among Midwest states for family coverage. Moreover, a new analysis by benefits think tank HCTrends shows that the new rate “would also be less than the employee contributions required at 85 percent of large Milwaukee_area employers.”

This modest call for shared sacrifice has triggered the wrath of the White House-Big Labor-Michael Moore axis. On Thursday, President Obama lamented the “assault on unions.” AFL-CIO and Service Employees International Union bosses dubbed Walker the “Mubarak of the Midwest” while their minions toted posters of Walker’s face superimposed on Hitler’s. Moore goaded thousands of striking union protesters to “shut down” the “new Cairo” while the state’s Democratic legislators bailed on floor debate over the union reform package.

Education Secretary Arne Duncan spurned the opportunity to condemn thousands of Wisconsin public school teachers for lying about being “sick” and shutting down at least eight school districts across the state to attend capitol protests (many of whom dragged their students on a social justice field trip with them). Instead, Duncan defended teachers for “doing probably the most important work in society.” Only striking government teachers could win federal praise for NOT doing their jobs.

Yes, the so-called progressives truly believe that bringing American union workers into the 21st century in line with the rest of the workforce is tantamount to dictatorship.

Yes, I’ve actually heard union protesters comparing themselves to the protesters in Egypt.

I see this as another example of Obama’s abdication of leadership. He knows as well as anyone that budget cuts have to be made, and the Governor’s proposals in Wisconsin are modest considering the dire financial straits the state is in.

It’s the same stance he’s taken on the national budget. As Ace noted earlier this week:

Basically, Obama is going to run a platform of irresponsibility and future disaster because he trusts Americans are so stupid they’ll reward him for it. And of course the problem with this strategy — for us — is that it is 88% likely he’s right.

***

…he’d rather watch America burn than let his precious ego take the hit of a difficult re-election.

Interestingly though,  a new Pew poll shows union support at near historic lows:

The favorability ratings for labor unions remain at nearly their lowest level in a quarter century with 45% expressing a positive view.

And that poll was taken before these protests in Wisconsin, which I think most Americans are looking at with disfavor.

By the way, how many of these teachers protesting in Madison are math teachers? Because Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard has done some math, and it doesn’t look to me that their protests are even in their own best interests, financially:

According to the state of Wisconsin, the average teacher salary in Wisconsin is $49,093 annually. (With benefits, the average total compensation is $77,857.) With 190 school days per year, Wisconsin public education employees make about $258 per day. So in an effort to avoid contributing to their own pensions and funding 6 percent more of their own health care premiums, teachers have taken unpaid leave to protest and have given up nearly $500 – so far. . . . . What’s more, Wisconsin teachers pay as much as $1100 each year in compulsory union dues. If the legislation passes, they will no longer be required to pay those dues – returning that money to their own pockets.

The Other McCain on ‘Civility’:

Ann Althouse: “After all those efforts to paint Tea Partiers as using violent images and rhetoric, these pictures from Madison have got to hurt.” It’s also going to hurt that Democrats are issuing “demands” like … uh, hostage-takers. But as Ace of Spades says, there are times when liberals find a “Climate of Hate” useful.

The latest from Ace: Walker: I’m Sending Out The Cops:

Hummina-hummina-hummina!

They’ll pick one of them up. At least a couple of them are going to have to come back home at some point. Being Democrats, it’s easier for them to abandon their families, but they’ll still need changes of socks.

Alrightie, then. I’m heading for St. Louie for the weekend. Co-bloggers can add more links if they see anything noteworthy to add.

Karl Rove on the Megyn Kelly Show just called what is going on in Wisconsin, “State sponsored anarchy”.

Obama’s fingerprints are all over this.

See?  Obama’s political arm, sent out the moonbat signal, and they came a-runnin’..

UPDATE:

A new poll from the Washington-based Clarus Group asked:

Do you think government employees should be represented by labor unions that bargain for higher pay, benefits and pensions … or do you think government employees should not be represented by labor unions?

A full 64% of the respondents said “no.”

That includes 42% of Democrats, and an overwhelming majority of Republicans. Only 49% of Democrats think public workers should be in unions at all.

Czar-Busting Amendment Passes The House UPDATE: Net Neutrality Blocking Amendment Passes, Too

Great news from The Hill!!!!!:

The House GOP approved an amendment to a government-spending bill that would block funding for the Obama administration’s so-called policy “czars,” appointed advisers to the president that have been much-criticized by Republicans.

The vote was 249-171.

***

“I think this sends a strong signal to the president that we are tired of him running this shadow government, where they have got these czars that are literally circumventing the accountability and scrutiny that goes with Senate confirmation,” Scalise said after the vote.

Carol Browner, who currently holds the position, announced last month that she will resign, leaving the future of the office in doubt.

Scalise said the measure blocking the czars also makes good fiscal sense.

“We are going to save millions of taxpayer dollars, but we are also going to send him a signal that he is going to have to hold his administration accountable to the same transparency that he promised, but has unfortunately failed to deliver,” he said.

Republicans railed against Browner and Obama’s other policy advisers, arguing they played too great a role in the president’s policy decisions for officials that were appointed rather than confirmed by Congress.

The amendment would also prohibit funding for the director of the White House Office of Health Reform; the State Department’s special envoy for climate change; the special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation at the Council on Environmental Quality; the senior adviser to the secretary of the treasury assigned to the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry and senior counselor for manufacturing policy; the White House director of urban affairs; the special envoy to oversee the closure of Guantanamo Bay; the special master for TARP executive compensation at the Department of the Treasury; and the associate general counsel and chief diversity officer at the Federal Communications Commission.

What about the “Safe School Czar”?  Don’t forget him!

House Passes Amendment to Block Funds for Net Neutrality Order

The House passed an amendment Thursday that would bar the Federal Communications Commission from using any funding to implement the network-neutrality order it approved in December.

The amendment, approved on a 244-181 vote, was offered by Energy and Commerce Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chairman Greg Walden, R-Ore., to legislation that would fund government agencies for the rest of fiscal year 2011.

Walden and other critics of the FCC’s net-neutrality order argue it will stifle innovation and investment in broadband. The order aims to bar broadband providers from discriminating against Internet content, services, or applications.

“If left unchallenged, this claim of authority would allow the FCC to regulate any matter it discussed in the national broadband plan,” Walden said.

UPDATE:

Allahpundit says:

There’s no earthly way, I assume, that Senate Democrats (let alone Obama) will agree to this, so it’s destined to die in conference committee after the Senate passes its own spending bill.

But come on, keep hope alive, bro! A lot of these Dem Senators are up for reelection in two years, and the czars are hugely unpopular. Some even  question their constitutionality.

Wisconsin’s Wayward Dems Located

Earlier today, cowardly WI Dem State Senators fled the state capital to avoid voting on the Governor Walker’s union busting budget bill. Rumors were that they were out of state. Weasel Zippers reported:

The Senate majority leader, Scott Fitzgerald, who is ordering the state police to track down the wayward Democratic senators is the son of the head of the state police, Steve Fitzgerald, who in turn was appointed to the top spot by Walker. Steve Fitzgerald is also the father of the state’s speaker of the House, Jeff Fitzgerald.

As for whether the Democratic senators have in fact left the state, the spokesperson for the state Democratic Party tells TPM: “I know the whereabouts of not a single Democratic senator. I do not know what latitude they’re on, or know what longitude they’re on. I assume they’re in this hemisphere, I’ll say that.”

The miscreants have been located:

MADISON – Democratic State Senators who protested the budget repair bill by leaving the state have been found.

The lawmakers are in the Best Western Clock Tower Resort in Rockford Illinois.

Law enforcement officials have been looking for at least one Democratic senator to bring in for a quorum required for a fiscal measure, but Democratic Senator Jon Erpenbach confirmed to Newsradio 620 WTMJ that he and all of his Democratic colleagues boarded a bus and left the state.

“We’re not in Wisconsin right now,” Erpenbach said. “The reason why we’re doing this is because there are some jurisdictional issues that we’d be dealing with.”

The Senate’s Sergeant at Arms cannot compel Senators’ attendance in an open session if they are outside of state lines.

An Intervention Is In Order…

Lawrence O’Donnell is shocked and morally outraged (when isn’t he?!) that a political cartoon depicts the first couple in an unflattering light. He pretends not to know what caricatures are, and apparently believes that political humor should be 100% realistic and respectful – at least when aimed at leftists. Just listen to this drama queen:

Untitled from Breitbart on Vimeo.

Without showing the cartoon, O’Donnell, in hushed tones,  describes Lash’s depiction of Obama as, “half -man, half animal form – with ears that don’t exist in the homo-sapien species” (lulz)….What I see above is a 100% human being with really huge ears.

See – here’s the definition of caricature, just so Scary Larry O’Donnell knows, because he really seems confused:

exaggeration by means of often ludicrous distortion of parts or characteristics.

Got it? You wouldn’t think that would be necessary – but Lawrence really doesn’t seem to know. Batton Lash is merely being playful. He draws Obama’s ears ludicrously big because Obama has big ears.
Here’s an untouched photo, Lawrence, LOOK:

If Lash wanted to be mean, he could focus on a whole lot more than the ears, Larry.

Here’s an untouched photo of the first couple eating hamburgers and french fries:

See… what I think the cartoonist was doing up there – (once again, keeping in mind the definition of caricature) – was exaggerating her propensity to eat hamburgers while preaching healthy eating habits to the rest of us. Now, some may not find it funny, and they could argue their points on the merits, bit Scary Larry doesn’t do that – he has to demagogue – he has to make it racial and uuuuugly..

Cartoonists and photojournalists can be very mean and ugly…

Just ask John McCain,

Or George W. Bush:

But worse than meanness, O’Donnell see’s racism in the cartoons… Does he object because the the Obamas are black, and we’re not allowed to make fun of black people because they’re black? Is this O’Donnell’s way of saying, “shut up”?

Because after 3 years of abuse, the race card really doesn’t pack the punch it used to.

Especially when real examples of racism in political art are still so fresh in our memories. Remember these left-wing depictions of conservative blacks like Condoleezza Rice, Michael Steele, and Clarence Thomas?

I don’t remember Lawrence O’Donnell having anything to say about those real racist attacks on conservative blacks.

I don’t remember him commenting on the vile, racist hit job on Herman Cain’s CPAC speech, last weekend, either. Did he have anything to say about the  lefties at the Common Cause rally a few weeks ago who expressed their desire to see Clarence Thomas “strung up”? No?

Has he even uttered arguably-racist sentiments, himself?

The same Lawrence O’Donnell who recently showed his racial sensitivity when he said about former Republican Chairman Michael Steele:

“He’s dancing as fast as he can, trying to charm independent voters and Tea Partiers while never losing sight of his real master and paycheck provider, the Republican National Committee.”

O’Donnell’s absurdly dramatic, faux concern would actually be funny if he hadn’t gone the extra mile, and mentioned where Lash lives, and dragged his family into it.

James Hudnall and Batton Lash have recieved “a steady stream of death threats and vicious hate mail” since O’Donnell’s tirade.

This is the mental munchkin who called us “mentally disturbed racists” and went so far as tell people where we lived, who our spouses are and suggested they confront us. He’s like a gender impaired metro-sexual Mullah calling for a fatwa on unbelievers. Bad move, Larry. These creators aren’t going into hiding after your psychotic tirade.

An intervention is in order, alright. But not for Hudnall and Lash.

MSNBC should reprimand Lawrence O’Donnell for his bizarre racial McCarthyism, and for siccing unhinged lefties on political humorists. We realize that MSNBC has a high level of tolerance for demagoguery, and hypocrisy, but they should have 0 tolerance for the provocative antics of Lawrence O’Donnell.

As Wisconsin unions rally to protest Gov. Scott Walker‘s emergency budget proposal that would get rid of most of the state workers’ collective bargaining rights, video posted on YouTube appears to show teachers pulling high school students into the conflict.

The video, taken by Wisconsin’s conservative MacIver Institute, shows students from Madison‘s East High School claiming their teachers brought them to protests at the State Capitol and also openly admitting that they really don’t know why they’re there:

“We need your help today,” Markey said as a person dressed as the character walked toward the Capitol building. “We can’t leave Arthur and all of his pals in the lurch.”

Oh yes we can.

Liberals see a conspiracy to shut them down. “Extremists in Congress have introduced six—yes, six—bills that would slash all funding for NPR, PBS, and other public media,” says the liberal site Politicususa. “In an era of media consolidation, fewer national and foreign bureaus and mass newsroom layoffs, NPR is one of the only media outlets actually bringing listeners more reporting from around the country and around the world. Chris Matthews Aggressively Goes After Top Republicans For “collaborating” With Birthers

Transcript via Daily Caller:

“OK, you know what I want to do something right now,” Matthews said. “I’m going accuse those leaders, they’re very smart gentlemen. Cantor seems like a good guy and of course, Boehner seems like a good guy. Let me just say this – I hereby accuse them of collaboration.

“I think they are collaborating with the know-nothings out there,” Matthews said. “I think they are collaborating with the know-nothings out there, at least primary voters and they refuse to take them on. They said, ‘You may have something because they keep listening.’ Why don’t they just say, ‘You guys are crazy stop talking like this’ or, ‘Unless you got evidence that this guy was born in some other country stop talking like this’? It’s not good for the party.”

Back in December, when Abercrombie was raising  the BC issue, Chris Matthews, sounding like a “know nothing” himself, asked the question – “Why hasn’t the President demanded that they put out the original documents?”

Now he’s aggressively trying to intimidate Republicans into disavowing “birtherism”  – which makes me more convinced than ever that Obama has something to hide.

As Jack Cashill recently wrote at The American Thinker:

Most birthers simply want to know where and when their president was born, a not unreasonable aspiration.  Few insist that they know the answer.  Despite my ample research, I do not know.

All I do know is that the official story — the one Barack Obama trotted out in his memoir and both his convention speeches — is false. In my forthcoming book,  Deconstructing Obama, I show in detail why this is so and what the alternatives might be.

To repeat: Obama’s official personal narrative is a complete fabrication, and Cashill proves it in his new book. Andrew McCarthy  made similar observations in his July 2009 NRO article, Suborned In The USA, where he noted,  ”we now know that this life story is chock full of fiction”.

Cashill goes on to say:
If there are conspiracy theorists involved in the birther issue, it is those cynical souls — and they are many, left and right — who insist that Obama and his operatives have purposefully dragged the birth certificate in front of the baying hounds of the excitable right like a red herring.  In its simplest form, this theory at least sounds plausible.
***
Andrew Walden made this very case in American Thinker last week.  Wrote Walden,

“Abercrombie may act like a dopey doofus, but it is just an act.  He has spent a lifetime in politics manipulating conservatives to unwittingly serve his agenda —  and he’s proud of it

“The progressives know they can get the birthers to do anything they want,” concluded Waden. “They are having a ball, and they are discrediting Obama’s opponents in the run-up to 2012″.

In other words, Abercrombie’s failure to find the promised records and Evan’s recantation of a story he breathlessly told on more than thirty radio stations were part of a clever and increasingly intricate plot to enhance Obama’s electoral chances in 2012.  Never mind that Abercrombie made himself look foolish and Evans lost his credibility in the process.  The plot demanded sacrifice.

***

…Obama does indeed have much to hide. Whether he was born in Hawaii or in Washington State — or wherever — we know that he did not spend the first two years of his life in a happy, little multicultural home in Hawaii as advertised. He ascended to the presidency on a fully fabricated origins story.
This is why Obama’s lackies are on the attack. If the truth is allowed to come out about what a dishonest  fraud Obama is,  he will not be re-elected in 2012.
Expect more pressure from the the Obama media on Republicans to disavow “birtherism”.

Fascinating: Obama Says Fiscal Commission “Provides Framework For Conversation” While Rejecting All Of Its Recommendations

Obama spoke before an uncharacteristically skeptical press corps to introduce his new budget.

Speaking to reporters for just over an hour, Obama attempted to convince the nation that he took deficit reduction seriously, but at least from the initial response, Obama didn’t appear to convince the reporters.

Chuck Todd asked the question, “What was the point of the Fiscal Commission”, and Obama answered that “the notion that it has been shelved is incorrect, it still provides a framework for conversation”.

What abject nonsense. Does this mean if we’ll wait three weeks, he’ll adopt the Fiscal Commission’s recommendations?

It makes no sense that Obama would bring up Egypt, unless he thinks it’s a somehow winning issue for him, personally -  “great news for the President” , and deflects attention away from his crummy budget – what a ridiculous stretch.

Paul Ryan told Mark Levin that Obama didn’t put any of the Fiscal Commission’s recommendations in his budget, saying his budget is to the left of the recommendations, and makes the fiscal crisis worse.

Ryan nails it – Obama’s budget is “an abdication of leadership”.

Ace of Spades HQ: Oh Boy: Obama Sets Gutless-Punk Cocksucker Political Trap and GOP Walks Into It

But, here’s the thing: The GOP is walking into the trap because they know it’s the right thing to do for America and the gutless cocksucker who’s supposedly our president refuses to lead.

Basically, Obama is going to run a platform of irresponsibility and future disaster because he trusts Americans are so stupid they’ll reward him for it. And of course the problem with this strategy — for us — is that it is 88% likely he’s right.

Do I believe in Americans anymore? Less and less each day that passes. I’m kind of tired of conservatives trumpeting American exceptionalism because America seems in short supply of it. Scratch your average “exceptional America” and you find an ordinary decline-and-decay European soft “I want mine” socialist beneath.

So, Obama, having abdicated his responsibility of prudence, leadership, intelligence or idealism (this either proves he is stupid or profoundly cynical), has forced the out-party House of Representatives to take a leadership role — a role for which they aren’t well suited, not because of a lack of individual ability, but because the Constitution is expressly designed for a government led by the President.

But that’s what the cocksucker has decided to do — you guys propose necessary entitlement reforms; I’ll just demagogue against then and walk my way into relection.

Video: Beck Obsessed Tingles and Boehlert Deflect and Project On Hardball

Uninformed pejoratives have become Chris Matthews’ specialty these past few years. Ever notice how people who know more than he does are always “very crazy”, coo-coo, out to lunch, conspiracy theorists?

This from a guy who recently compared the Muslim Brotherhood to the tea party movement.

Can somebody please buy the guy a clue? Why does it always have to be me?

I’ve already dealt with the not new, not surprising links between the left and radical Islam.

Trevor Loudin recently uncovered  documentation of how radical Islam was being used by the Marxist, Leninist left in Egypt:

Below  are experts from a circa  2008 document by Egyptian Trotskyist Hossam El-Hamalawy, on how his comrades have worked to unite the Egyptian left and to “court” the Muslim Brotherhood in recent years. This has been a worldwide Trotskyist pattern for more than a decade.

Bear in mind that this document is around three years old.
From campus fistfights in the 1990s to joint demonstrations in 2005–2006, relations between the Muslim Brothers and the radical left in Egypt have come a long way. In settings where the two tendencies operate side by side, like student unions and professional syndicates, overt hostility has vanished, and there is even a small amount of coordination around tactics. Still, the cooperation remains symbolic, and leftists and Islamists have yet to join forces to undertake sustained mass actions against their common foe, the regime of President Husni Mubarak.

The improvement of leftist-Islamist relations can largely be traced to two factors. First is the evolution of a new left in Egypt whose two main pillars are the Revolutionary Socialist Organization and a growing left-leaning human rights community. This new left has different attitudes toward Islamism than those held by the previous “communist waves.” Second is the generational change within both the left and the Brotherhood cadres spurred by the revival of Egyptian street politics, thanks to the second Palestinian intifada.

Read the whole thing. I suspect that Beck has referred to this report on his show, because that’s what Beck does. He does the research, connects the dots on his chalkboard, and often shows videos that prove his assertions.

Chris Matthews and his enablers just cast aspersions and name-call. They don’t like that the radical left is being linked to radical Islam, so they deflect:

Matthews: “Is it his mental condition, his emotional condition, is it good merchandising”

Matthews: “He takes them all the way to Pluto!”

And they project:

Matthews: “There’s never any evidence presented…” Really?…He spends an hour on his show, every day explaining his theories, and again, often showing videos that prove his point. He also advises his audience to not take his word for it -  they can find documentation for themselves to back up what he’s saying.

What do these guys have to prove that Glenn Beck is wrong? They spend their hour name-calling.

Boehlert simpers; “Every new revelation proves he’s right…” Like Climate change alarmism? Every type of weather  proves they’re right…

Beck, slightly behind the curve on the Muslim Brotherhood/CPAC story,  gets pilloried for merely questioning the reports that the Muslim Brotherhood have infiltrated the conservative movement. Apparently he’s not supposed to question the story, he’s supposed to reject it outright like these ignoramuses do.

Here is a long memorandum written by Frank Gaffney to the ACU, which powerfully makes the case of infiltration within the conservative movement, in five parts:

1) How the MB’s Infiltration of the Conservative Movement Began

2) A Son of the Brotherhood

3) Khan’s Job

4) What ‘Right Outcome’?

5) Khan’s Recent Activities and Influence Operations

The Bottom Line

The foregoing litany comprises but a partial rendering of the problem we confront. Yet, it illustrates what a sophisticated, sustained influence operation looks like in an open society like ours. At a minimum, I hope you agree that it provides ample grounds for the American Conservative Union to “worry” about the extent to which it has been penetrated and manipulated by Suhail Khan and his enablers.

These individuals are now increasingly brazen in their aggressive pursuit of the Muslim Brotherhood’s overarching goal – eliminating and defeating our civilization from within, by our own hands. Such a divide-and-conquer strategy is certainly evident in, and being advanced by, campaigns these so-called “conservatives” have been mounting on behalf of initiatives that are anathema to most bona fide conservatives.

Does Chris Matthews own a computer? Is he completely incapable of researching a topic before he goes on these hour long rants?

The man is clearly slipping into dementia, and allowing professional dissemblers like David Corn and Eric Boehlert to hasten his fall. What a sad spectacle.

Obama Fails To Implement Ideas Of His Own Fiscal Commission

How big a joke is Obama’s new budget? He’s ignoring his own Fiscal Commission’s recommendations…it’s almost like the work they did last year to come up with a plan, never happened:

“The country’s biggest challenge, domestically speaking, no doubt about it, is a debt crisis. … It looks like the debt is going to continue rising under this budget,” House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said on “Fox News Sunday.” “Presidents are elected to lead, not to punt. And this president has been punting.”

Some who worked on Obama’s fiscal panel were also disappointed by his decision not to endorse any of the major elements of their deficit-reduction plan, which calls for raising the Social Security retirement age, charging wealthy seniors more for Medicare and limiting popular tax breaks such as the mortgage interest deduction.

“I would have preferred to see the administration get out front on addressing the entitlements and the tax reform that we need to reduce long-run deficits,” said Alice Rivlin, a commission member who served as budget director in the Clinton White House. “But they clearly made a tactical decision that this is not the best way to get to a positive result.”

Erskine Bowles, the Democratic chairman of the fiscal commission, said the White House budget request goes “nowhere near where they will have to go to resolve our fiscal nightmare.”

Hot Air has video of Ryan slamming Obama for “punting” on the budget crisis.

His plan appears to be nothing more than a continuation of  the insanely irresponsible tax and spend fiscal policies that are leading the nation to ruin.

Americans For Tax Reform says there are $1.5 trillion in tax hikes over present law hidden in Obama’s budget:

  • Raising the top marginal income tax rate (at which a majority of small business profits face taxation) from 35% to 39.6%.  This is a $709 billion/10 year tax hike
  • Raising the capital gains and dividends rate from 15% to 20%
  • Raising the death tax rate from 35% to 45% and lowering the death tax exemption amount from $5 million ($10 million for couples) to $3.5 million.  This is a $98 billion/ten year tax hike
  • Capping the value of itemized deductions at the 28% bracket rate.  This will effectively cut tax deductions for mortgage interest, charitable contributions, property taxes, state and local income or sales taxes, out-of-pocket medical expenses, and unreimbursed employee business expenses.  A new means-tested phaseout of itemized deductions limits them even more.  This is a $321 billion/ten year tax hike
  • New bank taxes totaling $33 billion over ten years
  • New international corporate tax hikes totaling $129 billion over ten years
  • New life insurance company taxes totaling $14 billion over ten years
  • Massive new taxes on energy, including LIFO repeal, Superfund, domestic energy manufacturing, and many others totaling $120 billion over ten years
  • Increasing unemployment payroll taxes by $15 billion over ten years
  • Taxing management capital gains in an investment partnership (“carried interest”) as ordinary income.  This is a tax hike of $15 billion over ten years
  • A giveaway to the trial lawyers—not letting companies deduct the cost of punitive damages from a lawsuit settlement.  This is a tax hike of $300 million over ten years
  • Increasing tax penalties, information reporting, and IRS information sharing.  This is a ten-year tax hike of $20 billion.

Republican Budget Committee ranking member, Jeff Sessions, called the President’s plan, “a blueprint for losing the future”:

Joy ordered and was disappointed by the size of the flaccid penne:

I won’t even tell you about the issues we had with the bill – but the tug of war for my credit card between Miss Attila and the waiter would have made a great action photo.

Day 3:

The bloggers lounge was always a busy and  bustling place, and security was tight. No one is quite sure why, but an uncredentialed Maureen Dowd tried to push her way into the room on day 2, but was blocked at the door. By all accounts, she was seriously displeased at being refused entry.

Some of us were wondering, “how does one get the nickname, “Fingers”, and decided not to delve too deeply…

Before his keynote speech, Congressman Allen West visited the Bloggers Lounge. He spoke briefly and posed for pictures. Tammy Bruce was clearly delighted to see him, giving him a warm embrace when he entered the room:

Breitbart Talks About The Pigford Case In The CPAC Bloggers Lounge

After Andrew Breitbart’s CPAC speech, Saturday morning, he visited the bloggers lounge to touch on the subject that was to be the main topic of his speech, but he sort of veered off track. The long and short of it is – this is a scandal of epic proportions, and the media is studiously avoiding it because of PC paralysis. Breitbart needs us to help get this story out there:

I asked Andrew when the documentary would be released, and he told me that they’re still working on it. They keep finding new things to add.

Andrew Breitbart on Pigford Lawsuit, “Bring It On”

New Media Entrepreneur declares that his voice will not be suppressed.

Andrew Breitbart and the head of Breitbart.tv sued by Pigford claimant.

Los Angeles, CA, February 12, 2011 – Breitbart.com LLC announced today that its Chairman and CEO Andrew Breitbart and the head of Breitbart.tv, Larry O’Connor, have been sued in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia by a central figure in the Pigford “back-door” reparations case. The Pigford case involves over $2.5 billion in US taxpayer money and constitutes one of the biggest cases of corruption
and politically-motivated fraud in the history of the United States. Mr. Breitbart and Breitbart.tv have been investigating and reporting on the Pigford case since late summer 2010.

Andrew Breitbart said, in response to being sued, “I find it extremely telling that this lawsuit was brought almost seven months after the alleged incidents that caused a national media frenzy occurred. It is no coincidence that this lawsuit was filed one day after I held a press conference revealing audio proof of orchestrated and systemic Pigford fraud. I can promise you this: neither I, nor my journalistic
websites, will or can be silenced by the institutional Left, which is obviously funding this lawsuit. I welcome the judicial discovery process, including finding out which groups are doing so.”

Video: CPAC Sharia Panel Takes Questions

Ayaan Hirsi, author of Infidel, and Nomad, the Hon. James Woolsey, former CIA director, and Andrew McCarthy of National Review took questions after their CPAC panel, The Sharia Challenge in the West, Saturday February 12, 2011. Clifford May, from Foundation For Defense of Democracies, moderated.

Hirsi described the Obama administration as “gullible” in the wake of the National Intelligence Director, James Clapper’s characterization of the Muslim Brotherhood, as “largely secular”.

Hirsi may be optimistic, but I’m not.
