A few days ago, The Hill reported that the left was aiming to duplicate the genuine anti-ObamaCare angst of the 2009 Democrat town halls, charitably putting it: Left hopes for town-hall rage of its own.
Hopes for? How about “ostentatiously orchestrating” …
And the left’s idea of “town hall rage” isn’t asking the congressman some tough questions, it’s shouting him down, acting like unhinged lunatics, and having to be escorted out of the building by security.
Immediately after Allen West took the stage at his Town Hall meeting on Tuesday Evening in Fort Lauderdale, several hecklers who were planted in the crowd began to jeer and interrupt his remarks, forcing West to pause several times and then continue once the crowd calmed down. Police were ultimately forced to removed one of the hecklers from the event. When the hecklers refused to stop their harassment, West stated, “You’re not going to intimidate me.”
The lefties have put their own version of what happened on YouTube. Here’s the “back and forth” she was referring to, which just sounds like a lot of yelling:
Sharky notes that she had been acting in a disruptive and combative manner by yelling at the Congressman and even harassing his wife. After she was escorted out, she was arrested for continuing her tirade and swearing at the officer.
While answering a question on Medicare and the need to make it solvent to save the program for future generations, a protester jumps up and begins shouting and screaming at West. Eventually, the protester is led away by police and later arrested for trespassing after warning. The protester? Former Air America radio show host Nicole Sandler.
The latest staged protest at a Congressman Allen West town hall has lead to an arrest. RED BROWARD has been reporting on the coordinated efforts by Democrats to stage protests at West events in the hopes of getting video for attack ads. Last month, it was CAIR representatives trailing the Congressman. Tonight, a former Air America radio host and a Broward Democratic Committee Area Leader joined the act.
Wow, how spontaneous! —how organic! How totally grass roots these left-wing protests are, (one protester a Democrat operative, another a former Air America talk show host)…
Bad news for Republicans in Missouri: Congressional redistricting is at an impasse and unless the map changes significantly, Republicans in Jackson County will have less influence in Missouri politics for the next 30 years.
A lot happened for redistricting in a few days and nothing happened. It appears We the People have become secondary to the political futures of several players in Missouri politics. What? Let me explain.
First, there is still time to get fair redistricting across Missouri and locally for all of us. Call your State Senator and State Representative to tell them to vote ‘No!’ on splitting Jackson County. In fact, let them know they should be either introducing or supporting a new map that has all of Jackson County in the 5th District. Warn them their vote on redistricting which sets the direction of politics in Missouri for not only 10 years but more like 30 is so important that they are determining your vote in a Republican primary August 2012 for or against them. It is time to get serious. Having no map passed is better than the atrocity Republican leadership is trying to shove down the throats of Missourians everywhere.
Last week members of our Congressional delegation weighed in personally and by phone trying to broker a deal. They favor the map the House passed. On Wednesday, it looked like the decision on a new Congressional map for Missouri would be made on Thursday by a conference committee made up of 5 members each from the Missouri House and Senate. The State Representatives on the redistricting conference committee are Chairman John Diehl (Town and Country near St. Louis), Stanley Cox (Sedalia), Tom Loehner (Koeltztown east of Jefferson City), Penny Hubbard (St. Louis) and Jamilah Nasheed (St. Louis). The State Senators on the redistricting conference committee are Chairman Scott Rupp (Wentzville near St. Louis), Jason Crowell (Cape Girardeau south of St. Louis), Brad Lager (Savannah in Northwest Missouri), Victor Callahan (Independence) and Robin Wright-Jones (St. Louis). As you can tell the conference committee has an over representation of St. Louis area folks. There is a very good reason for this.
Much of the sticking point on the new map has to do with who will be running next for Todd Aiken and JoAnn Emerson’s Congressional seats on the east side of Missouri. Rumor has it John Diehl will be running for Congress next year if Aiken goes for Senate and Jason Crowell will be running when Emerson retires. Each wants more Republican votes for their open seat runs. Now Ann Wagner appears to be angling to run for Aiken’s seat. Also Scott Rupp may be contemplating a run for Congress. The plot thickens. Lastly, Brad Lager is the heir apparent to Sam Graves in the 6th whenever he decides to retire.
Crafting a map that is fair and equitable to Missouri citizens when it comes to their representation in the United States Congress is a priority, said Missouri Senate leaders today in Jefferson City. This legislative session, the General Assembly is constitutionally charged to redraw Missouri’s Congressional Districts based on the most recent U.S. Census data.
According to that data, Missouri loses a congressional seat, going from nine to eight. The reason is Missouri’s population grew at a slower rate than other states in the nation.
“It is especially difficult this year, but the process is extremely important as it will likely be the basis for Missouri’s congressional district make-up for the next 30 years,” said Senate Leader Robert N. Mayer. “It is imperative we complete our Constitutional duty and adopt a map both members of the Senate and House of Representatives agree is the best in representing the interests of Missourians.”
Senators noted they had hoped to finish by a self-imposed deadline of today. Differences in the House and Senate map versions in House Bill 193 are currently before a conference committee. The five Senate members of the conference committee signed a report endorsing a compromise map drawn by the Senate. The House failed to respond.
Sen. Scott T. Rupp, R-Wentzville, is chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Redistricting and said the map should reflect the best interests of Missourians and not currently elected members of Congress.

MO House Leaders Discuss New Developments Regarding the Proposed Redistricting Legislation:
I created the above photoshop for Wayne Allyn Root’s Washington Time’s piece: The Marxist In The Mirror:
It’s official. President Obama has declared war on capitalism, which is funny because he never officially declared war on Libya. But our fearless Marxist-in-chief reserves a special brand of hatred for capitalism, entrepreneurship and rich people. Just days ago, Mr. Obama publicly blamed “speculators” for the rising price of gas. Mr. Obama publicly announced a war on speculators and speculation, imposing the Justice Department, government lawyers, Cabinet heads and the whole Big Brother kitchen sink on this “evil” bunch of capitalists.
Well I have news for you, Mr. Obama. You better go after many other Americans, too: home buyers, stock buyers, gold buyers, art buyers, classic-car buyers, wholesalers, small-business owners and investors. Because everyone who risks money to buy things and attempts to resell later at a profit is a speculator.
By going after oil speculators, Mr. Obama is setting the stage to go after every businessman and woman in America, seeking to redefine profits as either immoral or criminal, and targeting, demonizing and punishing the people who invest in America, courageously take financial risk and create most new jobs.
Why is Mr. Obama engaging in class warfare? Because A) he has to blame and demonize someone for his failures; B) he has to distract American consumers and voters from a failing economy and $5 per gallon gas; and C) most investors and speculators are fiscal conservatives, many of whom contribute to Mr. Obama’s political opposition.
The administration that acted in contempt by ignoring a judge’s order to lift the Gulf drilling moratorium will be looking for illegalities in rising oil and gas prices. Whew! Help is finally on the way!
After three years of investment by Shell, the eco-Marxists at the EPA pulled the rug right out from under the beleaguered oil company for specious, ludicrous reasons (“The EPA’s appeals board ruled that Shell had not taken into consideration emissions from an ice-breaking vessel when calculating overall greenhouse gas emissions from the project”).
We are the only country on the face of the Earth that restricts access to its own vast energy resources.
These suicidal policies represent an existential economic and national security threat.
And this is an intentional strategy on the part of President Obama.
I hate to use the I-word, but I truly feel that these policies — opposed by the vast majority of Americans and unworthy of a “Commander-in-Chief” — represent a crime of the highest order.
This administration follows the rule of whim, not of law. Congress needs to look into this thuggish attempt to bully Solomon out of his job — and they should take another look at the Johnson/Walpin case while they’re at it.
Washington (CNS News) – In what the White House calls a push for transparency, a pending executive order would require companies doing business with the federal government to disclose political contributions to independent groups, but would not place the same requirement on public employee unions or federal grant recipients that typically donate to Democrats.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Labor Relations Board says it will move ahead with lawsuits seeking to invalidate state constitutional amendments in Arizona and South Dakota that require workers to hold secret ballot elections before a company can be unionized.
I don’t know why Republicans keep tip-toeing around the obvious. If I hear one more person say, “Nobody is calling Obama a Marxist (or Socialist)…..I’m just questioning his judgment, honesty”, what-have-you, I think I’ll scream.
Nobody says, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck…I’m not saying it’s a duck…I’m just questioning its judgment and honesty”. No. It’s a damn duck. Everybody knows it.
The evidence that Obama is a Marxist/Socialist is overwhelming. We have him speaking admiringly of “collectivism” in 1995, We have him in his own words, on tape, discussing “redistribution of wealth” favorably in 2001. We have his unguarded, and uncharacteristically honest answer to Joe The Plumber about “spreading the wealth” in 2008.
I agree with O’Reilly’s analysis of Trump’s “bombastic” entrance into Republican politics. The reason why he’s “catching on” couldn’t be more obvious:
Trump isn’t tip-toeing around issues like Obama’s birth certificate, and school records, he’s hitting them with a sledge-hammer. People are fed up with the praetorian guard (AKA the MSM) protecting this man. Frustratingly, even most in the “respectable” conservative media have been too timid to broach the subject, even though Obama’s professed personal narrative has gaping holes, or doesn’t add up. Finally, someone is willing to go out there and ask the questions a lot of us want answers to. I don’t know what it is that’s on his birth certificate that he doesn’t want seen, but his refusal to produce it speaks for itself. And make no mistake. Despite the Democrat Media complex’s best efforts, the issue is no longer toxic to Republicans. It’s toxic to Obama.
CNNdid an investigative report which fairly conclusively establishes that Obama was born in Hawaii, but this jumped out at me:
Obama could file a Freedom of Information Act request to view his original birth certificate and make copies. But at this point, the White House maintains, nothing will satisfy the doubters.
Don’t you think that if he had done this a long time ago, it would have satisfied the vast majority of doubters? An Army doctor whorefused to deploy again to Afghanistan because he questioned Obama legitimacy, has been serving a six-month term at Ft. Leavenworth in Kansas. Wouldn’t you think that the Commander in Chief would feel obligated to do everything in his power to prove to our men and women in uniform, that he’s a natural born citizen?
“Well I’ve been told very recently, Anderson, that the birth certificate is missing,” Trump told CNN’s Anderson Cooper Monday. “I’ve been told that it’s not there or it doesn’t exist. And if that’s the case it’s a big problem.”
The former Hawaii elections official who maintains there’s no long-form birth certificate for Barack Obama in the Aloha State is now saying the president and his aides have been “caught fibbing” about Obama’s background, and the “embarrassing” situation is making it difficult to fess up to the truth.
Tim Adams, who was senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu during the 2008 campaign, made the statements in a two-hour interview with a group looking to disprove claims made by so-called birthers, those challenging Obama’s legal qualification to be president.
“I think people believe there’s been some kind of cover-up. And I don’t think it’s some big nefarious conspiracy. I think it’s politics as usual,” Adams said March 31 on Reality Check Radio, an Internet program on BlogTalkRadio.
“Barack Obama’s official autobiography was put out to the public for the public’s consumption and we all know politicians – they have a public persona, it’s created for consumption by the electorate – and I think that they’ve been caught fibbing, and it’s embarrassing.”
Manhattan real estate mogul Donald Trump suggested in an interview Monday that President Barack Obama had been a poor student who did not deserve to be admitted to the Ivy League universities he attended. Trump, who is mulling a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, offered no proof for his claim but said he would continue to press the matter as he has the legitimacy of the president’s birth certificate.
“I heard he was a terrible student, terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?” Trump said in an interview with The Associated Press. “I’m thinking about it, I’m certainly looking into it. Let him show his records.”
Drew: Yeah, my sense is because of affirmative action, guys like me were going to Occidental instead of even better schools and guys like Obama were going to Occidental instead of, uh, less challenging schools. A lot of very successful people were there, were part of Obama’s social circle at the time.
Kengor:: Now, was Occidental known for radical left politics? Would that have been an attraction for Obama?
Drew:: Yeah, I’m certain that it was. It was considered sort of the “Moscow” of southern California. There were a lot of Marxist professors, many of whom I got to know pretty well, not just there but also at Williams College in Massachusetts. Two of the same Marxist-Socialist professors were on the staff with me at Williams.
Kengor: So, that might have been an attraction for him? I’m trying to think, what would have made him go to Hawaii to Occidental? Do you think Frank Marshall Davis could somehow have been an influence in having him choose Occidental?
Drew: I don’t have any evidence of that…
Kengor: Because they won’t release his records, I called them –
Drew: Yeah, I think that’s odd. I don’t know, I got straight A’s my first year, it sounds weird, but I don’t talk about it, Paul, you’d think that if Obama did well he’d release those transcripts.
Is it possible that Donald Trump has decided that the best way to make the media cover these issues is by bringing them up as a candidate for President?
And Howard Stern recently said: “Look! Ahhh…I know Donald Trump. He’s not running for President. He’s not going to run…It is, as you said… a joke. He’s doing it because it’s fun, and he’s out there doing his thing, and he’s having a good time with it, but he’s not running for president.”
Maybe Trump’s “thing” is – he can’t stand Obama, thinks he’s a fraud who’s hellbent on transforming the nation from the “Shining City on a Hill” into a third-world Socialist sh** hole., and is putting his foot down by doing everything in his power to get these issues out in the mainstream media where they can damage Obama going into the 2012 election.
