Stranahan On The WeinerGate Sock Puppets

You can hear him talking about it on Blog Talk radio. I was listening to it earlier, today, but fell asleep before it finished. Not because it’s boring. It’s not at all. I was just tired from staying up too late, last night. What I found out before I fell asleep is that Stranahan is 99.9% sure that  the sock-puppet for Nikki Reid, one of the underage Weiner Twitter-fans, and Starchild(?), and possibly PatriotUSA76 is the same person, a troubled liberal, woman named Jenny who goes to UCLA, and has a very tenuous relationship with the truth.

But I’m still listening to find  what the heck her motive could possibly be. A spurned ex-sexter perhaps? That would be conjecture. He has been able to confirm her identity.

There is much more coming. This is just the initial batch. Perhaps the most interesting line I see is Gennette telling Nikki on June 6:

Hey. I’m not supposed to talk over messages anymore. If you want my number/you’re able to call, let me know.

In another  bizarre turn of events in the WeinerGate saga, a person who claims to be a  “janitor”, ( political operative who is hired to clean up messes) has threatened both Ace and Patterico in emails.

Krauthammer Calls Obama’s ICE Memo On Immigration Outright Lawlessness”, ICE Union President Warns Americans To “Brace Themselves For What’s Coming”

Charles Krauthammer took the hard line on Obama’s latest end-run around congress, last night on Special Report, calling Obama’s discretionary ICE memo pushing the rejected DREAM Act for illegal alien students, “outright lawlessness”.

“This is outright lawlessness on part of the administration. Whatever the politics of this, we do have a constitution and under it the legislator, the Congress, enacts the laws and the executive executes them, it doesn’t make them up,” Charles Krauthammer said on “Special Report.”

“The DREAM Act was rejected by Congress, it is now being enacted by the executive despite the expressed will of the Congress. That is lawless. It may not be an explicit executive order, it is an implicit one.”

On Wednesday, ICE Union president Chris Crane issued this statement:

“Any American concerned about immigration needs to brace themselves for what’s coming. This is just one of many new ICE policies in queue aimed at stopping the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws in the United States.  Unable to pass its immigration agenda through legislation, the Administration is now implementing it through agency policy.”

Crane continued: “ICE and the Administration have excluded our union and our agents from the entire process of developing policies, it was all kept secret from us, we found out from the newspapers.  ICE worked hand-in-hand with immigrants rights groups, but excluded its own officers.”

Also ignored by the press, was last year’s no confidence vote ICE agents gave Obama appointee, ICE director John Morton.

The National ICE Council represents about 7,000 agents and support staff.

Obama’s Worst Gaffe Yet

The President addressing the 10th Mountain Division today at Fort Drum:

“First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq. When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there. I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.“

As we all know, SSG Sal Giunta, of the 173rd Airborne, was the first living recipient (2011) of the MOH who fought in Iraq/Afganistan. SFC Jared Monti, 10th Mountain Division, was KIA in Afghanistan in 2006. He was posthumously awarded the MOH by Obama in 2009.

The creator of this video noticed that in the span of 40 seconds, Obama managed to refer to himself 6 times, but was unable to remember the name of the living  soldier to whom he gave the medal.

Good lord…..Not good.

Andy at AoSHQ noticed the same thing about the self referrals:

This longer video,  via Gateway Pundit shows the troops’ reaction after the speech. Although they remained stoic through the gaffe, no one jumped up to to shake Captain Gutsy’s hand when he was through. No one even stood up. They remained glued to their seats and clapped tepidly.

Fast forward to the end – it sure looks like a diss to me:

After his “gutsy call” to take out Bin Laden, you would think he’d get a hero’s welcome, no?

Compare that to the warm receptions Bush got through the years when he visited the troops, even at the very end of his term when almost everyone else had turned against him.

The troops are a good judge of character.
