Oh my goodness!!! Matthews hit a brick wall, and hard, when he went up against freshman congressman from Illinois, Joe Walsh with his usual bullying and interrupting routine. Matthews started out by trying to push the narrative that somehow Grover Norquist is the leader of the Republican party, based on the fact that he put out a petition, (huh?!) which was instantly ridiculed by Walsh…
How surreal was this interview? At one point Walsh has Matthews bellowing “Your word!….. Tingles is your word…”, and Walsh, says, “Okay, He doesn’t give me a thrill up my leg, alright?”
I think Matthews was happy when it was time to cut to a commercial.
