How Thin Skinned Is This President?

In the face of intense criticism about he and his wife’s incessant traveling and vacations while the country struggles economically (due to his toxic policies - a sack of hammers would have done better) the official White House blog puts up this post: “A Look Back: Presidential Vacations”.

Yes,  the official White House Blog felt the need to point to Obama’s predecessors and say;  “See? See? They did it too…Barack isn’t the only President who enjoyed golfing – and there’s “a long tradition of Presidents getting out of Washington to spend time with their families to enjoy the outdoors”.

You’ve GOT to be kidding me.

Will we see a retrospective on the first ladies’ vacations, too, I wonder?

Yeah, because the idea was so popular when it was first brought up two years ago:

The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.

This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year’s election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it’s not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing.

For the record… Commie-Truther Van Jones was the man behind the “turn 9-11 into community service day” movement.

But of course! Van Jones is the PERFECT PERSON to come up with ways to remember 9/11. He did such an awesome job on 9/12/2001:
