The Narcissist- in-Chief Continues To Show His Contempt For America

Photo Credit Reuters: Lonely Conservative: He does it again.

At RightWingNews, David Limbaugh lays into Obama for once again demonstrating his inability to grow in office. In just a few short statements at the Asia-Pacific Cooperation CEO business summit in Honolulu, we saw the same haughty and arrogant attitudes which have turned off scores of Americans.

Away from his teleprompter, he treated us to further insults of Americans, his unfriendly attitude toward business and the private sector, his narcissism, and his refusal to accept responsibility for his own actions.

In his Monday evening press conference from APEC, Obama showed that he can’t shake his narcissistic impulses. One would think that with all that has been written about Obama’s “me, myself and I” fixation, he would at least try to pretend to be other-directed on occasion, to show he has the capacity to think of his position as something larger than himself.

In his opening remarks, he didn’t say that “we” or “Americans” want other nations to buy American-made goods, but “I want them to,” and so “I’ve been doing everything I can to make sure” we stay competitive. He didn’t say, “The United States was honored to host APEC this year,” but “I’ve been proud to host APEC this year.”

***

At APEC, Boeing CEO Jim McNerney asked him to consider the Chinese perspective and their concern about impediments to investment in the United States. How, wondered McNerney, would he address their dissatisfaction over these obstacles?

Rather than addressing the question directly, Obama deflected any responsibility for the situation and said, “We’ve been a little bit lazy, I think, over the last couple of decades. We’ve kind of taken for granted – well, people will want to come here and we aren’t out there hungry, selling America and trying to attract new business into America.”

I happen to believe that comment is absurd on its face, as even my small hometown in Missouri has made great efforts to bring foreign businesses into the community, sometimes successfully. Other communities throughout the United States daily engage in a competitive effort to attract businesses into their cities and states, and for the president to characterize them as “lazy,” demonstrates he is as out of touch with Americans as he is disdainful toward them.

He might consider responding to the question next time, which involved impediments to doing business that often put American companies and communities at a competitive disadvantage in attracting foreign businesses. Doesn’t Obama owe us all an answer to that question?

But to answer would require Obama to account for his own deplorable economic record and his hostility toward business, the private sector and the free market. A fair, reasonable response would have included his acknowledgment of how much damage his policies have caused to the American business climate, instead of an indictment of every American besides himself.

With characteristic disdain for Obama, Charles krauthammer, on Fox’s Special Report, Monday, also addressed our President’s  “ill-concealed contempt of America”:

“Obama is ready to blame everybody except himself for the lousy economy. And the lack of investment. Look, why are people reluctant to invest? We have the highest corporate tax rate in the world, in the industrialized world. Obama has spoken about it. It’s the one issue on which the Republicans would have agreed on lowering that rate, eliminating loopholes. In three years in office, he’s done nothing. He has an NLRB trying to shut down a $1 billion plant Boeing has constructed, as a favor to Obama’s union allies. People look abroad and say this isn’t a place I want to do business. Its his issues, his over-regulation over taxation and all the red tape he has added. And now he blames Americans’ laziness. I think it’s unseemly.”

We move on to Obama’s contempt for Christianity as Tammy Bruce recently pointed out; as we enter the holiday season, we can expect the same ‘ol same ‘ol stories of bizarre leftist worshiping political correctness imposing itself on civilization with obsessive efforts to eradicate all public displays of faith – even the word “Christmas” itself. Leftists have no problem with filthy, nihilistic #occupy hippies raping, defecating, vandalizing, getting high – etc in the public square, but the very same people cry foul at the horribly offensive prospect of baby Jesus occupying a manger in a public Nativity Scene. It’s an affront to their civil liberties, you see.

It’s one thing for the usual liberal Gestapos or the odd atheist to pull that craven cart through society, but now even more disturbingly it appears President Barack Obama himself isn’t even remotely trying to hide his contempt for Christianity and its importance to our great nation.

Just a few days ago, Obama and the White House went out of its way to issue a special proclamation for Eid al-Adha, the Muslim “festival of sacrifice.”

In an official White House statement, the president and first lady gushed about Eid and congratulated Muslims involved in the Hajj “pilgrimage.”

All of that is well and good, but what struck me about this special message was the reminder that this very same president deliberately ignored Easter this year, the most holy of Christian holidays, by snubbing Christians here and around the world.

In April there was disbelief that the White House issued no proclamation about Easter, let alone a personal statement by the president and his wife. Newsmax noted:

“By comparison, the White House has released statements recognizing the observance of major Muslim holidays and released statements in 2010 on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha.” On top of neglecting Easter, the president “also failed to release a statement marking Good Friday.” The White House did, however, “release an eight-paragraph statement heralding Earth Day,” which fell on Good Friday.”

Most of us recognized a problem with a man whose spiritual leader and father figure ran a church where pleading to God to “damn” America was standard, but it now seems Obama’s contempt for this nation is personal and isn’t even something he bothers to mask.

In addition to gestures by this president indicating a personal contempt for the Christian foundation of this country, in the past 72 hours Americans were dumbfounded by the announcement of a “Christmas Tree Tax” by Obama’s Department of Agriculture. Only after significant outrage was directed at the president and federal government for such an astounding proposal, was a “delay” in the implementation of the tax announced.

And on and on it goes. Read the rest at the links.

431 days left of this, folks.

Anyone of the Republican candidates would be better than this.

431 loooong days.

Obama Administration Pressured Solyndra To Keep Layoffs Quiet Until After 2010 Elections – Jonathan Alter Hardest Hit

What? No….

Jonathan Alter says Obama  is “honest”, scandal-less, and “puts a premium on personal integrity”.  He insists Obama set a record in October for the most days without a scandal of any president since 1977! (another Democrat just by coincidence).

Although it’s possible that the Solyndra LLC story will become a classic feeding frenzy, don’t bet on it. Providing $535 million in loan guarantees to a solar-panel maker that goes bankrupt was dumb, but so far not criminal or even unethical on the part of the administration. These kinds of stories are unlikely to derail Obama in 2012.

Well, really? Even if, out of a crass political calculation, they pushed Solyndra to keep quiet about their lay-offs until after the election? Even if the Obama’s Energy Dept agreed to continue giving Solyndra installments of its federal loan despite the company’s failure to meet key terms of the loan?  Even if, while knowing the company was in deep financial doodoo, it restructured its loan in February to give investors a chance to recover $75 million in new money they put into the company, essentially throwing taxpayers under the bus?

Yep, I love the sense of honesty and integrity this random act of journalism by The Washington Post gives me:

Solyndra, the now-shuttered California company, had been a poster child of President Obama’s initiative to invest in clean energies and received the administration’s first energy loan of $535 million. But a year ago, in October 2010, the solar panel manufacturer was quickly running out of money and had warned the Energy Department it would need emergency cash to avoid having to shut down.

The new e-mails about the layoff announcement were released Tuesday morning as part of a House Energy and Commerce committee memo, provided in advance of Energy Secretary Steven Chu’s scheduled testimony before the investigative committee Thursday.

Solyndra’s chief executive warned the Energy Department on Oct. 25, 2010, that he intended to announce worker layoffs Oct. 28. He said he was spurred by numerous calls from reporters and potential investors about rumors the firm was in financial trouble and was planning to lay off workers and close one of its two plants.

But in an Oct. 30, 2010, e-mail, advisers to Solyndra’s primary investor, Argonaut Equity, explain that the Energy Department had strongly urged the company to put off the layoff announcement until Nov. 3. The midterm elections were held Nov. 2, and led to Republicans taking control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

“DOE continues to be cooperative and have indicated that they will fund the November draw on our loan (app. $40 million) but have not committed to December yet,” a Solyndra investor adviser wrote Oct. 30. “They did push very hard for us to hold our announcement of the consolidation to employees and vendors to Nov. 3rd – oddly they didn’t give a reason for that date.”

Just a reminder of how the most “honest” and “scandal-free” administration since 1977, demonstrates its integrity:

DealergateDOJ Black Panther whitewash, the Obamafication of NEA art, the Sestak affair, the politically expedient IG Gerald Walpin firing, misspent Porkulous funds,  the DOJ’s secret astroturf propaganda unit, the Shorebank scandal, oilgate, Blagojevich Rezko Obama corruption, Pigfordhis  unaccountable Communist czars, Fast and Furious, The Gibson Guitar Raid, and now Solyndra and LightSquared.

Court Order Allows #OWS Squatters To Return To Park – Bloomberg Plans To Fight It (With Video) UPDATED

This video features one of  America’s favorite #OWS trust fund hippies:

Approximately 70 #OWS squatters were arrested, early this morning as hundreds of police in riot gear raided the Zuccotti park, but hours later, the Marxist National Lawyers Guild obtained a court order allowing the protesters to return with their tents to the park, where they have camped for two months.

Fox News Reports:

The guild said the injunction prevents the city from enforcing park rules on the protesters who are now looking for squatters rights, despite park rules banning camping overnight.

Bloomberg said the city knew about the court order but had not seen it and would go to court to fight it. He said the city wants to protect people’s rights, but if a choice must be made, it will protect public safety.

By 9 a.m., the park was power-washed clean by sanitation workers. Police in riot gear ringed the public space, waiting for orders to reopen it.

The city told protesters they could come back after the cleaning, but under new tougher rules, including no tents, sleeping bags or tarps, which would effectively put an end to the encampment if enforced.

“The law that created Zuccotti Park required that it be open for the public to enjoy for passive recreation 24 hours a day,” Bloomberg said. “Ever since the occupation began, that law has not been complied with, as the park has been taken over by protesters, making it unavailable to anyone else.”

Concerns about health and safety issues at Occupy Wall Street camps around the U.S. have intensified, and protesters have been ordered to take down their shelters, adhere to curfews and relocate so that parks can be cleaned.

Is NYC’s Mayor Bloomberg actually showing signs of intestinal fortitude? He’s gonna need it. These cockroaches aren’t going to stop infesting the park without a huge fight.

Pelosi/Media Matters Attack “Throw Them All Out’s” Peter Schweizer – Daily Beast Editor Defends On MSNBC (With Video)

Although 60 Minutes cherry picked Republican examples from Schweizer’s book for their report, Sunday night– (four out of the five targets of its investigation were Republican, while “60 to 70 percent” of the politicians described in Schweizer’s book are Democrats), they managed to blow the  lid off of congressional insider trading, taking a rare look at corruption on both sides of the aisle. For the basis of its investigations, it used took a book by a conservative journalist and Big Peace editor, Peter Schweizer’s Throw Them All Out. While some liberal media outlets, like Huffpo and The Politico are panning  the report (coming to Boehner’s defense, in order to protect Pelosi), others like Soros and SEIU funded Media Matters prefer to attack the messenger, as in - Pelosi Smear Based on Book By Breitbart Editor.  Because 1. the book obviously has nothing to offer but lies and smears since it’s written by a {{{Breitbart }}} editor (Attaaaaack watch!) and 2. We’re not even intellectually honest enough to defend politicians on both sides of the aisle like The Politico and Huffpo did – no – we’ll only defend the sole Dem mentioned in the 60 minutes report.

Wow. LOL.

As unintentionally funny and hackworthy as Media Matters is, they are who a panicked Nancy Pelosi linked to in her attempt to defend herself against revelations made in Schweizer’s book.

Daily Beast contributor Zachary Karabell defended Schweizer’s book, calling it “not partisan” and  blasted Nancy Pelosi’s weak attempt to defend herself when he appeared on MSNBC, yesterday:

In an oped at The Daily Beast, today, Karabell wrote: Ethically Challenged Congress Needs Law or Code Banning Insider Trading:

If there’s no stomach for a law banning insider trading in Congress, at least it should constitute an ethics violation and carry real censure. Lacking that, members who use insider access to enrich themselves should be voted out of office.

Financial Motives?: Gloria Allred’s News Conference With Cain Accuser’s Ex-Boyfriend – Updated with Gloria Cain Interview

I thought that it looked bad for Cain, but I’m not a lawyer. Professor Jacobson of Legal Insurrection wasn’t impressed – he  thought the  whole press conference had a very seedy feel to it.

The truth is that the press conference shed little light on the truth.  The ex-boyfriend, who now is a physician in bankruptcy, said he sent Bialek to meet Cain in Washington D.C. in 1997 because the three had met at a convention afterparty, that Bialek went, that the boyfriend paid for the flight and room, that he never upgraded the room, that when she returned she said Cain touched her “inappropriately” but gave no details, and that they didn’t discuss it again until a few weeks ago.  That’s it.

Since Allred made a point of bringing up Cain’s “financial motives”, here’s some info on Zuckerman’s personal bankruptcy:

In September 2007, Stratford Center filed an action in the Illinois state court to reform the remaining three leases. The case was tried in a bench trial and on June 8, 2010, Judge Popejoy entered judgment in favor of Stratford Center. Judge Popejoy’s decision reformed the lease in question and awarded $187,657.00 in damages jointly and severally against Stratford Pediatric and Dr. Victor Zuckerman (“Zuckerman”), the principal physician in that practice.

On September 2, 2010, Stratford Center served a citation to discover assets on Chase Bank. Both Stratford Pediatric and Zuckerman banked at Chase. Under Illinois law, the service of the citation created a lien on Stratford Pediatric’s and Zuckerman’s accounts. 735 ILCS 5/2-1402(m)(2). On September 12, 2010, Chase responded to the citation by producing bank statements and identifying several accounts held by Stratford Pediatric and Zuckerman. These statements identified $10,117.49 held in Stratford Pediatric’s accounts and $47,507.60 held in Zuckerman’s accounts.

In May 2010 (after the bench trial, but before the judgment was entered) Stratford Pediatric sold its assets to Central DuPage Hospital for $333,000.00 in cash. This money was mostly transferred to Zuckerman’s personal accounts. He soon went on a gambling and day trading spree and lost all of the money. In July 2010, Zuckerman moved to Louisiana. On September 15, 2010, Zuckerman filed a chapter 11 petition in the Western District of Louisiana. His creditors include, among others, Stratford Center (with claims of $675,000.00), his ex-wife (with claims of $89,000.00), and the IRS (with claims of $50,000.00).

He claimed in the presser that he filed the chapter 11 reorganization bankruptcy …..“Due to many economic factors”.

Uh huh. Internet snoops have sniffed out another possible factor:

This money was mostly transferred to Zuckerman’s personal accounts. He soon went on a gambling and day trading spree and lost all of the money. In July 2010, Zuckerman moved to Louisiana. Anyhoo….

Cooking With The Troops Fund-Raiser (With Video)

Bruce McQuain of The Washington Examiner, Qando, The Greenroom, Questions and Observations, Pundit Review and Blackfive, recently wrote me about a wonderful charity he and fellow Blackfivers,  Blake Powers and Bob Miller are involved with.  They started Cooking With The Troops, a program whose mission is “to provide comfort, nutrition, and hope through four major programs.”
McQuain wrote:
I was at their event at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio Tx this summer and witnessed what they do first hand.  We fed 300 of our wounded warriors and their families for 2 meals at the Wounded Warrior Transition center.  They also kicked off their new Homefront program where they teach service members and their families how to cook good food on a budget instead of relying on fast food.
Here’s a video they made of the event:

The fund raiser will run from Veteran’s day (11th) to Thanksgiving day.  You can donate, here.

It really is simple: Donate so we can help the wounded, their families, and the U.S. and Allied troops on the line.  There is no such thing as too small a donation, because they all can and do add up into something grand.  So, please don’t hesitate as all are appreciated and needed!

To give you an idea of what your donations can mean:
$10:  covers the costs of napkins for a typical event
$20:  covers the costs to feed a meal to a wounded warrior or family member at a European event
$50:  covers the cost of disposable plates for an event
$100:  covers the cost of drinks for a typical event
$250:  covers the cost for all paper goods at an event
$500:  covers most or all of the cost of meats for a typical barbecue
$1,000:  covers most or all of the cost of airfare to send a guest chef to a European event

Expect a few more  posts from me,  pushing the program in the coming days, so they can expand to other military bases, etc.

Romney Drops To Third Place In Latest Iowa Poll

Photo via Texas GOP Vote

The latest GOP poll shows Cain still holding his lead, but neck and neck with a surging  Gingrich.

Via The National Journal, this survey,  conducted by the Republican firm, The Polling Company, must be causing DC establishment Republicans to have “conniptions” as Romney’s campaign continues to falter.

Cain’s lead, according to pollster Kellyanne Conway, is based on what she calls the “Palin vote.” The embattled businessman, fighting charges of sexual harrassment during his time at the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990s, is getting support from “those hard-core Republicans who coalesce around a candidate they seem as unfairly treated by the media or establishment,” she said. That means the allegations, perhaps counter to conventional wisdom, are actually good for Cain’s campaign. They’re providing a temporary boost that will likely fade once the issue recedes from the headlines, especially if another Republican candidate finds him or herself at the center of the media scrum.

The poll, conducted Nov. 11-13, surveyed 501 likely Republican caucus-goers in Iowa, leaving a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percent. It’s the second survey in a row, after the Des Moines Register poll released late last month, that shows Cain leading, and it’s the first state-specific poll that has Gingrich surging too.

The Gingrich surge in Iowa mirrors two national polls, released over the weekend, that showed the former speaker close to the head of the pack.

Cain — 20%
Gingrich — 19
Romney — 14
Bachmann — 10
Paul — 10
Perry — 5
Santorum — 4
Huntsman — 2
Johnson — 1
Undecided — 13

In Case You Missed It: CBS Republican Debate In Full + Conservative Reactions

A lot of Republican bloggers missed this because so many of us were at BlogCon, but late Saturday night, word quickly spread throughout the Kruiser Kabana that Perry and (of course) Gingrich had had particularly good nights. Will this revive Perry’s struggling campaign? Time will tell. Perry is using humor to rebound from his glaring debate gaffe from last week, which could win over people like me who love an underdog with a sense of humor.

The National Journal had some great backstage coverage:

So Perry was quick to cut off CBS’ Scott Pelley, one of the debate moderators in South Carolina, when he began a question, saying, “Governor Perry, you advocate the elimination of the Department of Energy. If you eliminate the Department of Energy…”

“I’m glad you remembered it,” interjected Perry with a big smile as the audience broke into applause and laughter. Pelley responded, “I’ve had some time to think about it, sir.” And Perry shot back again to even more laughter, “Me, too.”

Far from being uptight after his earlier stumble, Perry was loose even before the debate. Backstage before the TV lights came on, Perry said to fellow candidate Rick Santorum, “So tonight if I need a lifeline, I’m just gonna look to you, OK?”

Santorum laughed and offered to “fill in the blanks” for the Texan. The two men then high-fived each other. At that point, they laughed about Rep. Ron Paul telling Perry after the Michigan debate that “everybody has that happen, most people just don’t do it in front of four million people.” In South Carolina, Paul laughed and told Santorum, “I was trying to make him feel better.”

Watch video at the link.

The entire CBS debate video:

Steven Hayward makes the Case for Newt at Powerline:

But lately Newt seems to have hit his stride.  Did you happen to catch him on the “Center Seat” segment of Fox News’s “Special Report” last night?  It was Newt at his best, and reminding us that then he is on his game there is no one better.  Maybe the best part was when Steve Hayes played the infamous TV ad Newt cut with Nancy Pelosi three years ago about the “climate crisis” (about the 6:50 mark of the video).  Newt didn’t finesse it: he straight out said, “That was the dumbest single thing I’ve done. . . simply inexplicable. . . it was just dumb.”  Not often a politician admits a mistake that straightforwardly.  And then he went on to give a concise account of the issue of climate and energy that tracks pretty closely with what I said on this site way back in the spring after Romney botched the issue.

So enter as witnesses Byron York in the Washington Examiner a couple days ago, and this morning Dorothy Rabinowitz in the Wall Street Journal (“Why Gingrich Could Win”), making the case for Newt even more strongly…

It can’t be stressed enough how important it is for Newt to back away from that horribly damaging (to his political career) “climate crisis” commercial he did with Nancy Pelosi. There are many conservatives who will never forgive him for it, but I’m sure most would be willing to give him another look if he at least admits his error, which he did rather decisively.

Here is that Special Report segment in case the Fox video at the link, above, doesn’t work for you (it didn’t for me). It definitely is worth a watch, especially the part where he tries to explain the Pelosi ad starting at 6:45:

Ben Domenech at The Transom on Perry’s best moment:

Best moment for Perry was this confrontation: http://vlt.tc/7q  “In 1972 I volunteered to serve in the United States Air Force, and the idea that we have our young men and women in combat today where there are people who would kill them in a heartbeat, under any circumstance and using any technique that they can — for us not to have the ability to try to extract information from them, to save our young people’s lives, is a travesty. This is war. That’s what happens in war. And I am for using the techniques, not torture, but using those techniques that we know will extract the information to save young American lives and I will be for it until I die.”

Another important point: Despite being on a Saturday night and only having an hour broadcast, 5.3 million people watched the foreign policy debate on CBS. http://vlt.tc/71  This effectively means more than twice as many people have now seen Perry’s responses to his CNBC debate gaffe as saw his original gaffe.

See also: Yahoo News, The Ticket: Gingrich won’t say if Mitt Romney is a conservative:

On Friday, Gingrich wouldn’t say outright if he thought Romney is not a conservative, but suggested as much in a radio interview.

“I’ll let the voters decide that,” Gingrich said on Laura Ingraham’s radio show when asked about Romney’s conservative bona-fides.  “Remember, Mitt Romney right now in the CBS poll is at 15 percent. I’m at 15 percent. The 85 percent who have not chosen Mitt Romney, who have known him now for five years, I think are looking for a conservative activist who will stand firm and who will fight to change Washington.”

“There’s no point in beating Obama with somebody who is confused about who they are and what they believe,” Gingrich went on to say later in the interview.

“I assume that’s Romney,” Ingraham replied. “That has to be Romney, who are you referring to?”

“I’m saying that as a general principle,” he said. “You want somebody who is a solid conservative who can win.”

BlogCon Odds and Ends

Conservative conferences are always a whirlwind of activity from start to finish and BlogCon 2011 was no different. In between the initial blogger meet-up at The Falling Rock Tap House, Thursday night to the Kruiser Kabana on Sunday night,  we managed to attend a very well organized, well managed, and well attended conference for conservative bloggers and activists. Major Kudos go to Tabatha Hale for doing such a stellar job putting it all together.

Friday night, a group of about twelve of us (including 3 women) went to dinner at The Yard House. Unfortunately, the wait was so long,  a few of them had to leave. That left me with the motley crew of Ace of Spades HQ, Weasel Zippers, John Sexton of Verum Serum, Exurban John of The Goldwater Institute and Gabriel Malor -who’s camera shy. BlogCon 2011 is the first time I’d had the pleasure to meet Weasel Zippers. He was a complete sweetheart.

This picture of the guys at dinner is very fuzzy – which is just how I’m sure these guys like it.

left to right, Ace, Zip, John Sexton, Exurban John, and Gabe’s arm.

The Blogging As Activism panel: Moe Lane, Jim Hoft, and Pamela Geller, moderated by Dana Loesch, Saturday afternoon:

I really should have taken more video of this panel. Geller, in particular was a spitfire.

Here are the closing comments by Dana Loesch: “We’re Fighting For Tomorrow’s History”:

Right after this panel, Hoft and Geller boogied down to #OccupyDenver to mess with the confused neocoms. Pics and video here or here. Seriously, they really boogied.

Saturday night in the lounge with Kristina Ribali of FreedomConnector, Javier Manjarres of The Shark Tank, and Michelle Malkin:

Also Sat. night in the lounge:

Lorie Byrd, John Hawkins, and Tabitha Hale

Saturday night, my son and his girlfriend, who go to college at Co State University in Fort Collins, picked me up to go out to dinner. We found a nice little Peruvian restaurant, with a nice little Peruvian llama near the entrance:

All conservative conferences end at the Kruiser Kabana, courtesy of the always entertaining and hospitable Stephen Kruiser – sorry, I didn’t have my camera or I would have taken  picture of Ben Howe gulping down straight honey to soothe his sore throat. He has lost his voice on Friday, from yelling too loudly at the  #OccupyDenver hippies.

Video: “Blacklash” and “Runaway Slave” Promoted at BlogCon 2011

Deneen Borelli of Project 21, and  FreedomWorks,  has authored an upcoming book,  Blacklash: How the Left Is Driving Americans to the Government Plantation. In this clip I took at BlogCon 2011, Deneen was talking about the horrific abuse black conservatives take from liberals for leaving the government plantation.

Here’s an example of what Deneen’s had to put up with from libs over the years. The title gives you all the indication you need to ascertain how execrable the trash is that’s posted within: Black Tea-Bagging: ‘Nigger’ Deneen Borelli Please!

Memo To Sean Hannity and Fox News: If you want to use blacks to disparage other blacks, please select “pretty looking” ones — and by pretty I do not necessarily mean “pale skinned” for there are millions of dark, chocolate skinned beauties roaming these United States. An ugly Auntie-Tom will never “convince” any person of color. Deneen Borelli can rightfully criticize the black community like many of us do, for we are not perfect — but joining the Republican | Tea-Party ORGY of racism & bigotry to disparage, ridicule and demean fellow people of color — is utterly despicable, and Treasonous!

This is the sort of unhinged hatred and smear-mongering leftists reserve for for blacks who have left the Democrat plantation. Of course, smeared right along with them, are conservative whites, who are accused of being a part of an” orgy of racism and bigotry” without any evidence to back up such an outrageous claim.

At BlogCon, AlfonZo Rachel of Macho Sauce Productions, and Deneen Borelli introduced a showing of the Runaway Slave movie trailer, which I’ll be debuting here, Monday. Until then, to whet your appetite, here are a couple of trailers that are already on YouTube.

The central figure in the movie is C.L. Bryant, a professed, “runaway slave”.

This former president of the NAACP’s Garland, Texas Chapter, self-professed “Democratic Radical” and former host of television’s Focus on Reality (a Golden Cassette Award winner) and numerous radio shows since 1980, now believes the values that he once vehemently upheld has led the Black community into a state of bondage to the US government.

Runaway Slave is set to be released in theaters January 13, 2012, the weekend of Martin Luther King’s birthday.

Five days ago, it was widely reported that Mark Harwood,  the financee of Sharon Bialek, one of the Cain accusers who went public, was  gallantly coming to his beloved’s defense. An interview that was picked up by scores of media outlets, lent credibility to her story, even as damaging reports about her personal history was struggling for media attention. A few days ago, it was revealed that new lie detector technology had indicated that her story was a  lie.

Now, Harwood wants to “clear the air”, Fox Nation reports:

For starters, Sharon Bialek isn’t his fiancee, said Mark Harwood in an exclusive interview on Wednesday night.

“We were engaged last year in June but I think there have been some assumptions that Sharon still lives here in Mundelein with me” Harwood told the I-Team. “Sharon and her son moved out in February of this year and now live in their own home … so effectively we’re no longer engaged.”

RS McCain notes that the MSM made a point of mentioning Harwood was financially secure, living very comfortably in an affluent neighborhood. Ben Smith, for instance, reported in the Politico:

In fact, per the Tribune, she’s living with her fiance, described as an executive in the medical equipment industry, in “a large, five-bedroom home… in north suburban Mundelein.”

Although McCain isn’t sure this has any particular significance, it does make one go “hmmmmm”.
It was Thursday before WLS-TV got this interview, so that little bit of misinformation got corrected by the local ABC station in Chicago, three crucial days after it had been widely reported and woven into the media narrative as evidence of Bialek’s credibility.

Like I said: Things that make you go “hmmmm.”

Freedomworks’ Max Pappas

Pappas promoted Freedomworks’ upcoming “crowdsource” book, 102 Things that gave us the Obama Economy:

FreedomWorks is planning a series of crowd-sourced, crowd-marketed books, which will harness the strength of our network of 2,000,000+ free-market activists and the strength of the broader tea party movement. The first book in the “102 Things…” series is tentatively titled 102 Things that gave us the Obama Economy. It is our first book since our New York Times and Wall Street Journal best seller Give Us Liberty: A Tea Party Manifesto by Dick Armey and Matt Kibbe.

FreedomWorks has created a list of 102 policies the Obama administration has enacted or proposed that have hurt the economy. For each of the 102 items we have identified an article, document, or news article that provides a starting point for research on the topic. We have also written a template/sample to show what a contribution to the book should look like (see it here).

For a chance to have your submission published in the book, write between 800 and 1,000 words on the topic of your choice. Click the Discussions tab on the left to view all 102 items. Be sure to include sources for all facts, as well as the local tea party group with which you are affiliated.

DEADLINE: Sunday, December 11th, midnight.

I haven’t heard if OccupyDenver is going to try to invade the conference, today, but we’ve been advised by the police not to engage them if they return.

Video: #OccupyDenver Moonbats Invade #BlogCon11

One arrest has been made (thus far)

This guy appeared to be the leader, he led the chants

We knew they were coming but the disheveled horde from OccupyDenver occupied the lobby, at the Crowne Center Hotel here at BlogCon a little sooner than we had bargained for. Expected at 5:00pm, they invaded BlogCon at approximately 2:00pm.

Pandemonium ensued, with camera lights flashing on both sides, cameras trained on each other. For some reason, the occupiers were preoccupied (no pun intended) on the Koch brothers, who help fund Americans For Prosperity, not Freedomworks.

Part two:

I’m still uploading – more pictures and videos to come.

UPDATE:

Part Four:

Featuring one of the occupiers getting arrested.
