Video: Mark Levin talks With a Soviet Union Refugee Who Says Every Day U.S. Becoming More Like The Country She Escaped From

Tatianna was a professor of Marxist Leninist philosophy in the Soviet Union, and she knows a Commie when she sees one. She tells Levin, that he has no idea, as smart and accomplished as he is, “the horror” we are heading towards.

Her thick accent makes her somewhat difficult to understand – if you were able to catch her last remark about Obama, “He’s a [unintelligible] ruler,” leave it in the comments.

Like she says, Socialism = slavery.

It still floors me how so many people are willing to trade their freedom for (what they think will be)  security.

  2. Just showed my son the old Rollerball movie with James Caan. I made sure he paid attention to this exchange:

Jonathan E.: I’ve been thinking, Ella. Thinking a lot… and watching. It’s like people had a choice a long time ago between having all them nice things or freedom. Of course, they chose comfort.

Ella: But comfort is freedom. It always has been. The whole history of civilization is a struggle against poverty and need.

Jonathan E.: No! No… that’s not it. That’s never been it! Them privileges just buy us off.

Even liberals recognized the problem when it was couched as eeevil corporations running things, but they’re blind to it when it’s the government.

Have you seen The Hunger Games, yet?

Even if you haven’t, you probably already know it’s about a totalitarian and oppressive command and control government of the future that subjugates the unlucky citizens who live in the districts and forces a number of them to participate in these brutal “Hunger Games” once a year….

Here’s how confused the left is – they think it’s about the 1% vs the 99%. Not liberty vs tyranny.

Morons….it’s about a totalitarianism form of government that strips people of their humanity and dignity – which is what the left wants to drive us all to.

  4. Want to know just how evil totalitarianism can be? How far down the rabbit hole goes?

  5. Ever wonder why former Soviet citizens are so strongly against anything that has to do with liberalism, Socialism, etc?

Because they’ve witnessed it. They’ve seen it with their own eyes. And they do NOT want a repeat.

I did, but that seems more like an OWS-type system than socialism. The “99%” are off in the boonies enslaved to support the “1%” who are living large. At first I thought it was a nice anti-totalitarian message, but then decided that it smacked too much of “rescuing the poor downtrodden workers.”

I’m betting that Ms. Collins is a garden variety liberal.

Heh, just rummaged around a bit on the web, and found this Breitbart.com post about Donald Sutherland’s take on the movie (he, too, links it to OWS).
