Rep. Moran’s Son Likely a Victim of Right Wing False Flag Operation

Rethuglicans are at it again, smearing a good man’s name for their own political ends. One of the teabagging ringleaders, the execrable Jeff Quinton, “reported” this slanderous drivel, earlier today:

Rep. Moran’s son pleads guilty to assaulting girlfriend

When we last heard from Patrick Moran, son of Rep. Jim Moran, he was on video describing how to commit voter fraud. He later resigned from his father’s campaign over the video.

Today, the Washington City Paper reports:

Moran and his girlfriend were fighting outside 14th St. bar The Getaway around 1:23 a.m. on Dec. 1, according to a police report, over Moran talking to another woman at the bar. Suddenly, Moran allegedly slammed his girlfriend’s head into the bar’s metal trash can cage.

After the attack, police described Moran’s girlfriend as “bleeding heavily from her nose nose and also observed that her nose and right eye were extremely swollen.” One of the ambulance technicians who transported her to Howard University Hospital told police that Moran appeared to have broken her nose and given her a skull fracture under her right eye.

When I saw this story–claiming that a “violent Moran” beat his girlfriend’s face in –I knew right away it was likely a false flag.

Exhibit A. “The last we heard from Patrick Moran”, he was being railroaded by Lee Stranahan’s buddy, the right wing con artist, James O’Keefe of Project something or other, in a heavily edited video that supposedly proved Moran was engaging in election fraud, but proved nothing of the sort. It was another completely discredited Breitbot hoax.

Exhibit B. Stranahan works for Breitbart, need I say more?

Exhibit C. Adding to the barrage of deceptive lies is the notorious, tip jar rattling grifter, RS McCain, a proven racist, who’s well known for reporting things that are not true.

Exhibit D. A source from the bar says that unknown persons wearing patriotic tea-bag type garb entered the bar, and deliberately provoked the peaceful Moran, causing him to take a few swings in their direction. According to the source, Moran’s fist missed its mark and in the confusion, he ended up slamming his girlfriend into the trash can cage. The teabaggers left the bar before police and paramedics got to the scene.

Exhibit E. A video of the source telling his story at the local Progressives for Progress office, has been posted onYouTube.

It appears the KochBots just staged another false flag!!!11!

Boehner: Obama Still Offering Plans That Can’t Pass the House or Senate (Video)

Via The Daily Caller, House Speaker John Boehner said  Obama’s newest proposal, which includes $1.4 trillion in tax increases, “cannot pass the House or Senate.”

Boehner stressed that an agreement on the fiscal cliff must address Washington’s “spending problem” but “serious differences” between the GOP and the White House remain.

“The president and I had a deliberate call yesterday, and we spoke honestly and openly about the differences that we face but the president’s calling for $1.4 trillion worth of revenue, that cannot pass the House or the Senate,” Boehner told reporters on Wednesday.

In his weekly press conference, Boehner said Obama is “slow-walking” the discussions and bringing us closer to the fiscal cliff:

I don’t know how anyone can doubt at this point that Obama has no problem going over the fiscal cliff, but Keith Hennessey for one, does, though he has found an option for Republicans who think Obama’s on a mission to tank the US economy.

I won’t rehash my argument that the President is no more willing to risk a no deal scenario than Republicans, and therefore that he and his advisors are bluffing when they say they are willing to “go over the cliff” if a new bill is not to their liking. But after talking to Republican friends on Capitol Hill, I am confident that I have convinced no one of this point. It appears many key Republicans believe that a no-bill scenario is unacceptable and must be avoided at any cost.

If enough Republican Members of Congress believe this, and if the President knows they believe this, then Speaker Boehner has literally zero leverage in his negotiations. The President can dictate his terms because Republicans think he is willing to walk away from a bad deal and they are not.

At the same time many conservatives on and off Capitol Hill are talking about their policy views on what a possible Obama-Boehner deal should (or even “must”) include. I hear and read that marginal rates must not increase, or that we shouldn’t raise taxes by the $1.6 trillion the President demands, or that there must be a procedural path to enact tax reform, or that the defense sequester must be mitigated, or that a deal must include significant spending cuts and entitlement reforms. While I share these policy views, it seems absurd to be simultaneously making these demands of your negotiator while giving him no leverage.

If, however, there is a third option, one that is terrible but not inconceivable, then there is at least some minimum floor to the negotiations. If a third option exists, then Speaker Boehner and the Congressional Republicans he represents can reject demands from the President that are worse than that third alternative. Even a highly undesirable third legislative option changes the negotiating dynamic, if it is minimally tolerable in the extreme. If most Republicans would prefer that third option to a no-deal “go off the cliff” scenario, then the Speaker has at least a little leverage to reject or ignore outrageous demands from the President. He can say, “No thanks, Mr. President, we’ll just go with option C, whether you want us to or not.” The negotiating term for option C is a new and stronger BATNA: Best Alternative To a Negotiated Agreement. The risk of going over the fiscal cliff is irrelevant because Republicans have a backup plan if there is no deal with the President.

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, the top Republican in the Senate, blasted President Barack Obama for not leaving anything on the “fiscal cliff” negotiating table this morning in remarks on the Senate floor.

his week the Senate Republican Caucus launched a new website, “Stop the Nuclear Option,” to provide Americans with more information about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) plan to change the body’s rules to prevent filibusters on the Senate floor in the next Congress.“[Changing the rules] would weaken and possibly eliminate the minority party’s ability to debate in the United States Senate,” Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) told bloggers on conference call this afternoon. “It would silence the voices of nearly half of all Americans, who are currently represented by Republicans.”

Johnson himself wants to “preserve full rights to the filibuster” and said he believes that the rule change would “harm the institution.”

New Unedited Videos Show AFP Tent Being Attacked by Union Thugs as Lefties Claim “False Flag” (Video)

Thomas La Duke of FTR Radio released more video this morning of the rabid melee that took place in Lansing, MI, yesterday as the Right to Work bill was signed into law. As was widely reported, a union supporting Michigan Democrat promised that “there would be blood, “giving license to the unionistas to get violent, and Teamsters boss, James Hoffa predicted, “we’re going to have a civil war”, adding fuel to the fire. Right-to-Work supporters were assaulted multiple times by the union mob, and pro-union thugs destroyed the Americans for Prosperity tent while people were inside…

As news of the union thuggery circulated, the left-wing spin machine sprung into action – The Teamsters put up a post on their website  that claimed the video of union supporters destroying the AFP tent was a “False Flag” operation to make unions look bad… (As if they needed any help.)

Soon, a dozen or so left-wing blogs were reporting the same thing – Memorandum shows a number of collectivist blogs signing on to “the Breitbart folks faked the violence” meme. According to one blogger: Breitbart Folks Appear to Fake Violence in Lansing:

When I saw this video-claiming that a “violent mob” destroyed the tent the Koch brothers had paid for in front of the Michigan Capitol-I knew right away it was likely a false flag.  After all, Stranahan, James O’Keefe’s buddy, first posted it.

Predictably, MSNBC’s resident intellectual, Ed Schultz is also running interference for the union goons with this report: At Michigan protest, charges of violence, dirty tricks:

…one eyewitness tells MSNBC.com he thinks there may be more to the story. Thomas Duckworth, a Michigan resident and lifelong union member, said he’d been at the AFP tent earlier in the day, when he noticed a man in an NRA hat. Later, he said, he saw the man deliberately loosening the ropes holding the tent up. Duckworth acknowledged that labor supporters had cheered the tent’s collapse, but suggested that AFP had deliberately helped initiate the it, in order to depict their adversaries as an unruly mob.The progressive communications group Progress Michigan also conducted an interview with Duckworth. You can find the video on their YouTube page.

A photo of Duckworth is credited to an MSNBC’s writer, but was taken inside the Progress Michigan offices, suggesting that the two organizations coordinated.

Thomas La Duke’s first video shows the inside of the tent as an incredulous La Duke and Steven Crowder are holding up a corner  as the unionistas bum rushed the tent for the first time. An AFP official can be heard outside the tent speaking through a bullhorn asking the union thugs to respect their right to free speech and their property rights and repeatedly asking that they “please step away from the tent.” La Duke claims the tent was rushed three times before it came down.

This  video of the back of the tent was filmed in the area where Crowder got punched. La Duke didn’t catch that shot because he was focusing on the lil fella who was kicking in the corner of the tent.

In one of the videos, a unionista can be heard yelling that AFP people should have been ‘Aborted” and laughing about it.

The State police showed up AFTER the tent had  come down.

La Duke: “NONE of the videos is edited so that the leftists pushing that crap can kiss it.”
