Obama on Republican Criticism of Susan Rice: “It’s All So Very Puzzling” (Video)

Who does he think he’s fooling?

The President granted fellow traveler, David Gregory, a rare interview Sunday morning on Meet the Press – probably to show his appreciation for the hard work he did last week toeing the administration’s line on gun control. During the interview,  Obama told  Gregory that he was still “puzzled” by (what he called) “attacks” on U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice, calling them “politically motivated.” Because, you see – in Obama’s world – nothing that the opposition party does is ever done with good and honest intentions – they are “politically motivated” in every single thing they do. (Project much?)

Transcript via Red Alert Politics:

“In the politics and the back and forth in this, do you feel like you let your friend Susan Rice out there to dry a little bit,” Gregory asked Obama.

Not a bad question considering he sent her out to lie at a time when a lot of people already knew the truth.

“No… She appeared on a number of television shows reporting what she and we understood to be the best information at the time. This was a politically motivated attack on her,” Obama said. “I mean, of all the people in my national security team, she probably had the least to do with anything that happened in Benghazi.

“Why she was targeted individually for this kind of attacks that she was subjected to is – was – puzzling to me,” Obama said in the interview, “and I was very clear in the days after those attacks that they weren’t acceptable.”

So much B.S. here to wade through, and Gregory challenged him on none of it. Especially  nauseating was Obama taking the liberty to speak for “most Americans”, assuring Gregory that we recognize that Republican criticism of the administration’s handling of the debacle  was “politically motivated rather than justified.” Obama will always be the first to tell you he knows what we“ordinary folks” think. I’m sick and tired of it, myself. Speak for yourself, commie.

Here’s what this ordinary American thinks.  Rice’s appearances on the Sunday talk shows was five days after the attack – well after “the fog of war” had cleared. I assume, like many others, that Hillary refused the gig because she didn’t want to make an ass of herself by continuing on with the already discredited anti- Mohammed YouTube video narrative. Of course, the administration had intelligence by then confirming it was a terrorist attack, not a spontaneous demonstration. It was obvious to the average Joe in flyover country (who was paying attention) that the attack in Benghazi (on the 11th anniversary of 9/11- hello?) was a terrorist attack.

What should truly be  “puzzling” is that he chose the person who “had the least to do with anything that happened in Benghazi” to go on five Sunday talk shows to talk about what happened in Benghazi. The question is, why was she “targeted individually” to be the lying stooge for the administration. Did Gregory follow up with that OBVIOUS question? No-sir-ee Bob.

He just pivoted to another subject.

  1. Great piece, Deb nicely tied together. This POS is still out there lying his @ss off and nobody in the msm will challenge him on anything he spews out. Obviously what everyone wants to know and the question “monkey face” should’ve followed up with is . . . . . “if Ambassador Rice had the least to do with Benghazi, why the hell was she sent out there to lie for”? Because we “all” know now [like we knew then] that the video had nothing to do with it and the biggest kool aid drinker available then was Suzie. Too bad is wasn’t reciprocated from the big guy, when push came to shove, eh Suzie?

  2. Seriously. After he said:

“I mean, of all the people in my national security team, she probably had the least to do with anything that happened in Benghazi.
How do you not follow up with, “Well gee, – why was she the one chosen to go on all the talk shows to talk about something she knew ‘the least’ about?”

That’s what untold numbers of “ordinary folks” were screaming at their T.Vs and computer screens.
When Obama says “Most Americans” or “ordinary Americans” he means wasted low info know nothing lay abouts. Drones. Morons – aka: his base.

And David Gregory is a pathetic hack.
I don’t know how they sleep at night, I really don’t.
