Prediction: 2014 Will Be Banner Year For Democrats

shellacked2

And by banner I mean a major shellacking kind of year.

Remember the phony baloney plastic banana “Republican culture of corruption” in 2006 that lead to the loss of their majority in the House in 2006 and the horrific outcome of Nancy Pelosi  taking the gavel in January of 2007?
Look at what Democrats are dealing with in 2014.

DEMOCRAT State Sen. Leland Yee Arrested In San Francisco

DEMOCRAT Mayor of Charlotte Arrested for Theft, Bribery

FBI Raids Home of DEMOCRAT Speaker of Rhode Island House

DEMOCRAT State Senator LeAnna Washington Ordered To Stand Trial

DEMOCRAT Illinois Rep Investigated for Child Pornography

This is all from one day, mind you – today!

And it doesn’t even include Bob “Filthy” Filner or  Alan “Kick-ass” Grayson, or Anthony”Weiner” Weiner

It’s not including all Obama’s  epic scandals and “historic firsts” (which if properly reported on by the media -would render all Democrats unelectible from now to eternity.)

It’s not including the ever unpopular ObamaCare aka the Un-Afforable-Care-Act.

54% of likely voters still haven’t warmed up to Obama’s “Affordable” Care Act according to the latest Rasmussen poll. 42% have a somewhat favorable view and 42% have avery unfavorable view despite the Obama administration’s massive advertising campaign.

What makes this so galling, is that the American people have to foot the bill for advertising expenses the government is racking up as it tries to sell us something we don’t like and have never wanted.

The numbers are appalling.

According to data compiled by the AP from state and federal sources, taxpayer money spent on publicity, marketing and advertising for the law is $684 million and counting.

Since just this January, they’ve burned through $52 million for “Affordable” Care Act advertising.
This is on top of the $600 million they blew building the Healthcare.gov glitch-site.

Where’s the outrage?

Democrats have no choice but to stand by their plan:

I’ll say this much for ObamaCare: it’s already survived catastrophic failures that should have filled the streets of Washington with pitchforks and torches.  It really help that the media undersells everything that goes wrong, and helps Team Obama get away with their standard “one news cycle at a time” spin strategy.  The Obamanoids are free to say any insane thing it takes to squeeze out a few days of improved coverage; reporters who know better cheerfully relay their lies with minimal real-time criticism.

***

King Barack I is not going to admit his mandates were idiotic ideas.  He’s invested a lot of political energy in protecting them – it would snap back into his face like a giant rubber band.  Republicans would have a field day replaying video clips of Obama and his flunkies adamantly standing by the mandates he just abandoned.  Even the lower-information voters would begin wondering what the point of the whole ObamaCare exercise was.

Ego isn’t the only reason the Obamanoids keep trying to portray the ACA as a great idea everybody’s going to fall in love with.  They know they’re in deep trouble when the public sees them acting like it’s a disaster they’re fighting to salvage.  That’s already the impression created by all of Obama’s delays and waivers; abandoning his mandates will make it look like he’s sealing bulkheads to keep a sinking ship afloat.

Anyone notice the primary results in California, Tuesday? It was a massive blow-out.

In a district that went for Mitt Romney 52-46% in 2012, the two Republicans combined for 69 percent, and the two Democrats just 25 percent. The Libertarian took 7. Republicans aren’t smart enough to put in a Green party candidate (as Pat Caddell says.) But still.  Ouch, baby.

And this just in, you guys: Obama’s Disapproval Hits New High, 59%, in New AP-GfK Poll:

Another poll, the Morning Consult, which is a health care tracking poll, finds that undecided voters are slightly opposed to Obamacare… and when I say “slightly,” I mean they oppose Obamacare more than they support it by a whopping 40% margin.

Among those who describe themselves as likely but undecided 2014 voters, Obamacare approval sits at a robust (25/65) …

Overall, likely voters oppose Obamacare by 53 to 41.

It’s a two-edged sword, though, this “40% underwater on Obamacare among the undecideds” stat.

If so many of them disapprove of Obamacare — 65% disapprove, to only 25% approving — what the hell makes them undecided as to which party they’ll be voting for in November?

Downtown Chocolate City Ray Nagin convicted of corruption in New Orleans.

The list is almost endless if you really stop and think about it.

So I guess that means Ooops! My bad, all is forgiven.
Funny how that always works for dimoCraps. . . . Menendez, Rangel etc., etc., etc.

Someone should investigate all the chitty real estate deals him and his sons are involved with in Nevada, that have made all of them millionaires.

I did a post on that awhile back. Doesn’t matter. The media will collectively look the other way at Democrat corruption (because we can’t make irresponsible snap decisions about a Dem’s wrongdoing, come on – let the investigation take its course..)

But Katie bar the door if there’s even the hint of Republican malfeasance – we’re talking front page – top story – major shitstorm – – pounding it every day until the public gets it drummed into their thick skulls that Trent Lott is a dirty racist, dammit who needs to resign from the speakership for saying happy birthday to Strom Thurmond in an elevator.

4 weeks of non stop news coverage about that nothingburger of a story convinced people that of course he needed to resign.

And Harry Reid, who uses his perch as the Majority Leader of the Senate to smear private citizens – Mitt Romney (a “source” told him Romney hadn’t paid taxes for 10 years!) and the Koch brothers for a parade of horribles because they’re mean horrible men who want to “destroy our democracy” – is clean as the wind driven snow.
