Organizing For Justice: Holder DOJ Played Behind the Scenes Role In Anti-Zimmerman Protests

I remember the reports from last April that Eric Holder had dispatched agents from the DOJ’s Community Relations Service unit to Sanford, Florida for “peacekeeping.” But quite notably, nothing was ever done about the New Black Panther vigilantes who were running wild in Sanford., threatening Zimmerman. A member of Zimmerman’s family even sent a letter to the Atty General, asking him why the Panthers hadn’t yet been arrested.

“I am writing you to ask you why, when the law of the land is crystal clear, is your office not arresting the New Black Panthers for hate crimes?” the family member wrote to Holder.

“The Zimmerman family is in hiding because of the threats that have been made against us, yet the DOJ has maintained an eerie silence on this matter. These threats are very public. If you haven’t been paying attention just do a Google search and you will find plenty. Since when can a group of people in the United States put a bounty on someone’s head, circulate Wanted posters publicly, and still be walking the streets?”

The New Black Panthers have issued ultimatums to the Sanford authorities, saying they want Zimmerman arrested “dead or alive.” They have placed a bounty on Zimmerman’s head, and have called for the building of an army of vigilantes to track him down and effect a citizen’s arrest.

Most recently, the New Black Panther Party has called for violence.

In a conference call recorded over the weekend, the militant group said it planned to “suit up and boot up” and prepare for the next stages of the “race war.”

So far, however, no members of the New Black Panther Party have faced legal consequences.

At no point did the “peace keepers” intervene on Zimmerman’s behalf.

Instead, Holder gave a speech to a group of radicals, telling them, “this is our moment.”

Wednesday, U.S. Attorney General Eric “My People” Holder spoke before activists with the National Action Network, an organization founded by Al Sharpton, urging them to help the President promote his agenda.

Via Matthew Boyle of The Daily Caller:

The pillars of advocacy Holder pushed for during the speech, he said, “cannot be the work of government alone.”

“We will continue to need your help, your expertise, your dedication and your partnership,” Holder told Sharpton’s activists. “While I’m optimistic about the path that we’re on and the place that we’ll arrive, I cannot pretend that the road ahead will be an easy one. Many obstacles lie before us.”

“This — this — is our moment,” Holder added as the crowd cheered. “So let us seize the chance before us. Let us rise to the challenges of our time.”

And now, thanks to Judicial Watch, we have a better idea of how far Holder’s DOJ went, to help organize the protests during an election year in which racial politics played a big part.

Bryan Preston of PJ Tatler reported:

Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained documents proving that the Department of Justice played a major behind-the-scenes role in organizing protests against George Zimmerman. Zimmerman is on trial for second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in February 2012.

Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the DOJ on April 24, 2012. According to the documents JW received, a little-known DOJ unit called the Community Relations Service deployed to Sanford, FL, to organize and manage rallies against Zimmerman.

***

JW says the documents it obtained reveal that CRS is not engaging in its stated mission of conducting “impartial mediation practices and conflict resolution,” but instead engaged on the side of the anti-Zimmerman protesters.

On April 15, 2012, during the height of the protests, the Orlando Sentinel reported, “They [the CRS] helped set up a meeting between the local NAACP and elected officials that led to the temporary resignation of police Chief Bill Lee according to Turner Clayton, Seminole County chapter president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.” The paper quoted the Rev. Valarie Houston, pastor of Allen Chapel AME Church, a focal point for protestors, as saying “They were there for us,” after a March 20 meeting with CRS agents.

Separately, in response to a Florida Sunshine Law request to the City of Sanford, Judicial Watch also obtained an audio recording of a “community meeting” held at Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford on April 19, 2012. The meeting, which led to the ouster of Sanford’s Police Chief Bill Lee, was scheduled after a group of college students calling themselves the “Dream Defenders” barricaded the entrance to the police department demanding Lee be fired.  According to the Orlando Sentinel, DOJ employees with the CRS had arranged a 40-mile police escort for the students from Daytona Beach to Sanford.

“These documents detail the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “My guess is that most Americans would rightly object to taxpayers paying government employees to help organize racially-charged demonstrations.”

And via Breitbart.com, some great news – the same group from the DOJ plans to intervene again, in South FL.

On Wednesday, Sanford Chief of Police Cecil Smith told Breitbart News exclusively that there is “nothing out there” suggesting civil unrest will take place in the city following the George Zimmerman verdict. He did state, however, that the Police Department had been coordinating with federal authorities, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice. More specifically, Smith stated that the Sanford PD had been coordinating with Community Relations Service regional director Thomas Battles at the DOJ.

Battles is currently under fire for his involvement in the CRS’ work with regard to “marches, demonstrations, and rallies” related to Trayvon Martin, as well as providing support for protest deployment in Florida, and onsite mediation and conciliation during demonstrations.

Rush Limbaugh weighed in on this on his show, Wednesday, saying; US Government Converted By Obama, Holder Into A ‘Community Organizing Agitator’:

“Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the DOJ on April 24, 2012. According to the documents JW received, a little-known DOJ unit called the Community Relations Service deployed to Sanford, FL, to organize and manage rallies against Zimmerman.”  Now, folks, this is the United States government.  This is not some fleabag, left-wing community agitator.  Well, actually it is now.  That’s what this means.  The United States government has been converted by Obama and Holder into a community organizing agitator bunch.  The Department of Justice, I mean, they’re supposed to be totally blind there.  They’re not supposed to have any bias whatsoever.

Zimmerman Family Member To Holder: Hey When Are you Going to Do Something about Those New Black Panther Threats?

A letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, from a Zimmerman family member, asking him why he has not arrested members of the New Black Panther Party, was obtained by The Daily Caller, on Monday.

After citing the U.S. Department of Justice’s published definition of a “hate crime,” the Zimmerman family member wrote that there is “no other explanation” for Holder’s failure to authorize arrests of New Black Panther Party members, other than the fact that Holder himself is black.

“I would surmise that, based on your own definition of a hate crime, you have chosen not to arrest these individuals based solely on your race,” the family member wrote to Holder, insisting too that the was “NO racial component” to the “tragedy” that occurred on the late February night when Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin.

Read the rest, here.

An American family is living in fear due to what can only be considered government approved threats to their well being. If not approved, tolerated.

What kind of country are we living in when armed, paramilitary, Marxist thugs like the New Black Panthers can openly threaten and intimidate American  citizens, and are protected from any legal repercussions by the US government?  First,  armed Black Panthers  stood in front of polling places in 2008, in clear case of voter intimidation, and the DOJ dropped the charges. Now, they’ve put  a bounty on a man’s head and promised a race war if he is not arrested, in violation of several laws, according to J Christian Adams:

Let’s start with solicitation to kidnap.  In announcing a reward for the seizure of Zimmerman, the New Black Panthers may have violated Florida Code 787.01.  It makes it a felony to “by threat, confining or abducting, or imprisoning another person against his . . .  will without lawful authority with intent to . .  . terrorize.”

Merely soliciting someone else to do this is also a felony in Florida under Florida Code 777.04.  “A person who solicits another to commit an offense prohibited by law and in the course of such solicitation commands, encourages, hires, or requests another person to engage in specific conduct which would constitute such offense or an attempt to commit such offense commits the offense of criminal solicitation.”

The solicitation and threat to seize Zimmerman may also constitute a crime under Florida Code 876.35.  The felony of “combination against part of the people of the state” occurs when someone is unlawfully seized by a mob, or at the behest of a mob.   Think of a small town jail 100 years ago and an angry crowd, armed with rope, demanding a particular inmate.  Sound familiar?

Florida Code 876.35 defines the crime: “to remove them forcibly out of this state, or to remove them from their habitations to any other part of the state by force, or [when people] shall assemble for that purpose.”  Remember, solicitation to commit a crime is in itself a crime.

Florida Code 876.34 even makes it a felony to “interfere forcibly in the administration of the government.”

And the Justice Department is silent. It’s absolutely breathtaking. Is this the hope and change the drones were waiting for?

The United States is looking increasingly like a corrupt form of authoritarian government –  such as a Kleptocracy.

Kleptocratic rulers typically treat their country’s treasury as though it were their own personal bank account, spending the funds on luxury goods, (and travels) as they see fit. Many kleptocratic rulers also secretly transfer public funds into secret personal numbered bank accounts in foreign countries in order to provide them with continued luxury if/when they are eventually removed from power and forced to leave the country.

Or perhaps they disable credit card verification on their campaign websites, enabling citizens from foreign countries to illegally donate to their campaigns.

There’s no recourse for the law abiding until the tyrants are dethroned.

UPDATE:

Sign the new petition at the WH petition site, Change.org:  The New Black Panthers Must Be Stopped!

Why This Is Important

We are calling on U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, to file Federal Charges against the Leaders of the New Black Panthers for violation of the following federal law: 18 U.S.C. § 2101 : US Code – Section 2101: Riots; 18 USC § 1959 – Violent Crimes in Aid of Racketeering Activity; 18 USC § 249 – Hate Crimes Act; 18 U.S.C. 2385; and 18 U.S.C. 2389 Recruiting For Services Against The United States

The New Black Panthers, in response to the tragic death of Trayvon Martin and an active or pending investigation, have attempted to create a race riot, promote an overthrow of the American government, and have solicited the death of an American citizen, George Zimmerman. The New Black Panther have:

1) Offered a bounty for George Zimmerman, which suggests that bodily harm or death should come to an American citizen (Mr. Zimmerman) for a fee: (http://news.yahoo.com/black-panthers-offer-reward-george-zimmerman-215400338.html)

Mr. George Zimmerman had not been charged with a crime at the time of the issuing of the initial “bounty”, which said “dead alive”. Therefore, the New Black Panthers had no legal standing to authorize what would essentially amount to the kidnapping of a citizen under the false pretense of a “citizens arrest”.

More importantly, they have no authorization under the law, under any circumstance, to issue a “wanted dead or alive” bounty on an American citizen.

2) Promoted, via social media and other postings, a “race riot”: http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2012/04/08/New-Black-Panthers-Call-For-Race-War-Blood-Shed-Kill-Crackers-For-Trayvon-April-9th-Day-of-Action

The exact wording is that those listening to “the call” should get “suited up, loaded up, armed up, and booted up for the race war.”

This speech is likely to provoke an average listener to retaliation, and thereby cause a breach of peace, which falls outside of the protection of the First Amendment because the words have no important role in the marketplace of ideas that the freedom of speech is designed to promote. (see: Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire)

The government can regulate speech that is intended and likely to incite “imminent lawless action,” or where the speech presents a “clear and present danger” to the security of the nation. (See: Brandenburg v. Ohio)

3. Knowingly and willfully advocated, advised, or taught the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States

4. Recruited soldiers or sailors within the United States to engage in armed hostility against the same.

U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, is obligated to act NOW to protect the peace of the Nation and to enforce rule of law.

Obama’s MLK Speech in 2002 Questioned Dr. King’s Philosophy of Nonviolence (Video)

On the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” speech, the president gave a speech that lauded the civil rights leader’s commitment to nonviolence.

“Many had gone to segregated schools and sat at segregated lunch counters, had lived in towns where they couldn’t vote, in cities where their votes didn’t matter. There were couples in love who couldn’t marry, soldiers who fought for freedom abroad that they found denied to them at home. They had seen loved ones beaten and children fire- hosed. And they had every reason to lash out in anger or resign themselves to a bitter fate.

And yet they chose a different path. In the face of hatred, they prayed for their tormentors. In the face of violence, they stood up and sat in with the moral force of nonviolence. Willingly, they went to jail to protest unjust laws, their cells swelling with the sound of freedom songs. A lifetime of indignities had taught them that no man can take away the dignity and grace that God grants us. They had learned through hard experience what Frederick Douglas once taught: that freedom is not given; it must be won through struggle and discipline, persistence and faith.”

But just eleven years ago, as an Illinois State Senator, Obama had a very different message. In a speech at a church in Chicago on Martin Luther King Day, he openly questioned MLK’s philosophy of nonviolence, which he suggested only made sense in a society in which the powerful had been brought down a peg. He suggested that the powerful’s lack of empathy undermined the notion that those without power should remain nonviolent.

The video was unearthed by Verum Serum’s Morgen Richmond, last year and posted at  Patterico’s on Oct. 3:

The philosophy of nonviolence only makes sense if the powerful can be made to recognize themselves in the powerless. It only makes sense if the powerless can be made to recognize themselves in the powerful. You know, the principle of empathy gives broader meaning, by the way, to Dr. King’s philosophy of nonviolence. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but rich people are all for nonviolence. Why wouldn’t they be? They’ve got what they want. They want to make sure people don’t take their stuff. But the principle of empathy recognizes that there are more subtle forms of violence to which we are answerable. The spirit of empathy condemns not only the use of firehoses and attack dogs to keep people down but also accountants and tax loopholes to keep people down. I’m not saying that what Enron executives did to their employees is the moral equivalent of what Bull Connor did to black folks, but I’ll tell you what, the employees at Enron feel violated. When a company town sees its plant closing because some distant executives made some decision despite the wage concessions, despite the tax breaks, and they see their entire economy collapsing, they feel violence . . .

Chilling, considering the explosion of black on white violence that has taken place since Obama was elected. One violent  St. Louis gang even named themselves after the president.

There are four felony counts of first-degree assault, four felony counts of armed criminal action and two felonies for allegedly firing a gun from a vehicle and hitting people pending against a St. Louis suspect whom police identified as a member of the “Obama Boyz” gang.

Erik Rush, author of “Negrophilia: From slave block to pedestal – America’s racial obsession,” told WND it “shouldn’t be particularly surprising that a subculture of young, angry black men is proliferating under President Obama.”

“While his tone when addressing matters of race and racial tension is usually measured and compassionate, his rhetoric is what I call ‘artfully divisive,’” Rush said. “It legitimizes and reinforces all of the worst beliefs of propagandized blacks, as well as the more militant and radical worldview of those who subscribe to same. His administration has also labored furtively but very effectively to heighten racial tension, I submit in order to precipitate civil unrest and thereby advance its communist agenda.”

In 1980, as a student at Occidental College and member of the Democrat Socialist Alliance, Obama believed a violent Communist revolution was needed in America, and it would take Marxists like him to guide the process along.

Fellow Marxist (now conservative) Dr. John Drew describes him as “a garden variety Marxist-Leninist. He and Boss and his sophomore year roommate, Hasan Chandoo, believed that social forces were creating an inevitable Communist revolution in the U.S. and that it was important to have a highly trained elite of educated leaders guide this revolutionary process and oversee it once the revolution took place.”

Asked by Jamie Glazov of FrontPage Magazine, “what did Obama say that made you think he was a Marxist?” Drew responded:

I only remember bits and fragments of the actual conversation. I remember that Obama reacted negatively to my suggestion that it was wrong to ever expect a Communist revolution in the U.S. given the experience of Western Europe. I definitely remember him taking about the need to prepare ourselves and the people for the coming Communist revolution. I remember that he was particularly good at arguing the perspective of Frantz Fanon’s anti-colonial revolutionary thought. I had read Fanon, but his writing was not authoritative to me the way it seemed to be for Boss and Obama.

FP: Tell us why this is significant today.

Drew: I think it is significant, in part, because it helps demonstrate the impact that Frank Marshall Davis had on young Obama. It was very unusual for such a young student at Occidental College to be such an intense believer in Marxist ideology. It turns out Obama last met with Davis only about four months prior to Obama first meeting with me.

Obama has never demonstrated in word or deed  that he ever converted from Marxist to capitalist.

Irritated Genie released a new audio clip Tuesday in which he claims that his supervisors were aware of his outside activities since December 2010. According to Genie, whose real name is Ayo Kimathi, his employers found out about his beliefs when his real name was outed on a podcast. Kimathi was encouraged to stick it out by someone who said the government wouldn’t act. It seems this person was right as no action was taken against Kimathi until recently when someone he works with went to the media with the story.

At this point is it unreasonable to assume that if the Kimathi’s virulently racist activities were allowed to continue, they were condoned?

Fifty years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. declared his desire for a more colorblind America in his stirring “I have a dream” speech.

“I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” he said in one of his most memorable lines.

But five decades after the March on Washington, just a bare majority of Americans – and fewer than one-in-five African Americans – believe that dream has been realized.

What’s more, the percentage of Americans who think race relations in the country are good has declined considerably since President Barack Obama – the nation’s first black president – took office in 2009.

Red Alert Politics: Nation’s only black Senator not invited to speak at March on Washington:

The American Thinker: Peaceful George… Another Son of Obama:

The police say Jorge approached the white senior and demanded that he leave the park, telling the old guy that, “He shouldn’t be in his park where young black kids are playing.” When the obstinate old coot stood his ground, he promptly got pounded into it by Jorge who reportedly smacked the surly septuagenarian several times in the face knocking him to the ground, according to multiple witnesses. Jorge then allegedly threatened to go get a gun, a witness reported.

Jorge, demonstrating the usual mental acuity of a Son of Obama, hung around following the assault and only jack-rabbited when the police arrived. When he was apprehended he was reportedly well-prepared for further martial engagement. Police confiscated a 9mm Sig Sauer P239, a magazine containing five hollow-point rounds, a set of brass knuckles, and two voter registration cards in his name. It would seem all those draconian gun control laws they have in Connecticut really made an impression on Citizen Jorge, who is a convicted felon pending trial on charges of illegal possession of a firearm in a vehicle and numerous drug violations. Yep, those strict gun laws really work, don’t they?

“I was mad. I knew they were younger. I thought they were in their early 20s. I got out and said, ‘What is your problem?’” Slepski said.

All four African-American girls then called her names before getting physically violent.

“They yelled, ‘Shut up white [expletive].’ The other said, ‘Get that white [expletive],’” Slepski said.

Slepski said she tried to get back into her car but the girls grabbed her by the hair.

“The one punched me in the head and I was on a set of concrete steps and my head hit the concrete so hard,” said Slepski. “Then they all got on top of me and all their hands were in my hair. They kept telling each other to, ‘Kick her in the head. Kick her head in the concrete.’”

Al Sharpton Rallied With New Black Panthers As They Passed Out Zimmerman ‘Dead or Alive’ Flyers (Video)

black-panthers-with-sharpton

The Last Refuge’s epic, blockbuster, follow-the-money, tour de force, A Nation of George Zimmermans Awakened – Understand The Fraud – Post Verdict of Acquittal discovers the race baiting networks that fanned the flames, and introduces you to a cast of shady characters who lined their pockets pushing a fraudulent racialist narrative.  Believe it or not, there’s also a Pigford link to this fiasco.

I want to focus on the New Black Panthers who rallied with Al Sharpton at Mellon Park on March 22nd, 2012, and openly handed out flyers to the crowd (with which no one seemed to have a problem.)

Al Sharpton whipped up the crowd with a mortifying, race-baiting speech, and with NBPP members standing directly in front of the stage.

new black panthers

“We are tired of going to jail for nothing and others going home for something. Zimmerman should have been arrested that night … you cannot defend yourself against a pack of Skittles and iced tea. Don’t talk to us like we’re stupid! Don’t talk to us like we’re ignorant! We love our children like you love yours. Lock him up!”

… Trayvon represents a reckless disregard for our [black] lives that we’ve seen for too long, and we’ve come here tonight to tell you enough is enough….

…. you thought it was hot,…. well, the heat has just arrived….

In March of 2012, Al Sharpton  also appeared at a Sanford City Council meeting where he called out the City Government, council members, Mayor and City Manager:

…you are risking going down as Birmingham and Selma in the twenty first century… You are making the world know you as a place of racial intolerance…. you have compromised the reputation of your city for one man….

After George Zimmerman was interviewed by Sean Hannity on Fox News following the verdict, MSNBC denied that Sharpton had “rushed to judgement as alleged. They said in a statement:

“MSNBC would like to set the record straight following some misinformation presented by Fox News during the interview with George Zimmerman last night,” MSNBC wrote in a statement sent to POLITICO. “Reverend Al Sharpton never ‘rushed to judgment,’ as stated by Mr. Hannity. Reverend Sharpton repeatedly called for calm and for a more thorough investigation in the wake of the tragic events. Ultimately, the authorities agreed an arrest was warranted.”

The credibility impaired network  has every reason to be worried that their already damaged reputation is about to take another major hit with Zimmerman’s defamation lawsuit in the works.

As the Last Refuge notes, there are about 200 different audio video versions of the  Black Panthers handing out flyers at Sharpton’s Mellon Park rally.

new black panther mellon-park-rally-2

This video was meant to be inspiring…but check out the New Black Panthers perched proudly in front of the stage – handing out their flyers.

What was the NBPP handing out?: Only their infamous “dead or alive” flyers that Holder’s Justice Dept. never took any interest in – (because in Obama’s America, apparently vigilantism is permissible  if the cause is “correct”.)

WASHINGTON TIMES - The U.S. Department of Justice had no comment on the $10,000 bounty the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) was offering for a “citizen’s arrest Dead or Alive” of George Zimmerman, the 28 year old man who told Sanford, Florida Police he shot and killed 17 year old Trayvon Martin on February 26 in an act of self-defense.

new black panthers mellon-park-flyer

Needless to say – vigilantism and placing a bounty on someone’s head, is illegal in America. Or it used to be illegal.

When asked about the flyers a few days after the rally on CNN, (which had made big news in conservative media)  Daryl Parks, a Martin family attorney, said he  rejected and condemned the actions taken by the NBPP. Parks said “We do not condone it, in fact, we CONDEMN those people.”

Sure you do.

They didn’t bother to condemn “those people” when they were standing directly in front of the stage, passing out the flyers only a few days earlier.

On March 30, 2012, in an e-mail response to a Washington Times inquiry, DOJ Office of Public Affairs’ Xochitl Hinojosa wrote: “The FBI is aware of the statements and we are unable to comment at this time.”

They haven’t done much – if any – commenting on it, ever since. They were too busy working on “justice for Trayvon” to bother with “justice for the Zimmerman family.”

As I noted in a recent post, but will repeat again –  a member of Zimmerman’s family actually sent a plaintive letter to Atty General Eric Holder pleading for help in April of 2012, asking him why the Panthers hadn’t yet been arrested for threatening his family.

The NBPP  also called for a militia of 5,000 black volunteers to help capture George Zimmerman. Which Holder’s Justice Dept. also ignored.

And now, they’re at it again: New Black Panthers: Zimmerman Acquittal Means “War”…

Via Aaron Klein:

“Were at war,” Shabbazz Tweeted. “Its (sic) silly and immoral to call for peace when war has been declared.”

The NBPP slammed what it called the “white mans (sic) justice system,” claiming the courts base their law on “the white is right theory.”

“Only a devil would applaud that verdict. Only natural born devil. By applauding that verdict you in fact admit that you are a devil,” wrote Shabbazz.

“The major problem with whites is they see white as exalted over others,” the Twitter feed added.

A conservative black blogger pointed out the double standard a year and a half ago:

If the Klu Klux Klan or the Aryan Brotherhood came out and openly stated that they were going to issue a bounty and form a posse for the capture of a black man, how long do you think it would be before those involved would be arrested for racial intimation, conspiracy to commit a hate crime etc? Of course, it would be almost instant and rightfully so in that case. So how is it possible that the NBPP is able to stand out in the open and issue a bounty on a citizen who hasn’t been charged by the government with a crime?

Via CFP: “Stand up for Religious Freedom” rally in Chicago,  June 8, 2012

This is in lieu of the Friday Free-For All I was unable to do, yesterday, because of the Bloggers
Day of Silence.

So. Much. Going. On…

Yesterday Americans Ralled Nationwide, Demanded Obama HHS Mandate Reversal..

LifeNews reported:

Tens of thousands of Americans rallied today in more than 160 cities against the Obama HHS mandate that requires religious groups to pay for birth control and abortion -causing drugs for their employees. In the nation’s capital, they demanded that the Obama administration roll back the controversial mandate.

The rallies are intended to send a message to the federal administration that the mandate is over-reaching, is an attack on the First Amendment rights of American religious institutions and significantly damaging to religious freedom and rights of conscience.  Citizens across the country, national and regional rally organizers are concerned about closure of services to the poor, the sick, the elderly, the most vulnerable in society, because the Mandate would distinctly violate religious charitable institutions’ belief systems.

Atlas Shrugs: Obama removes Religious Freedom Section from Its Human Rights Reports:

We should be importing whole Christian communities or Hindu communities, etc., living (and dying) under the boot of the sharia. This should be a presidential campaign platform for Romney.

State Department Purges Religious Freedom Section from Its Human Rights Reports CNS

(CNSNews.com) – The U.S. State Department removed the sections covering religious freedom from the Country Reports on Human Rights that it released on May 24, three months past the statutory deadline Congress set for the release of these reports.

The new human rights reports–purged of the sections that discuss the status of religious freedom in each of the countries covered–are also the human rights reports that include the period that covered the Arab Spring and its aftermath.

Thus, the reports do not provide in-depth coverage of what has happened to Christians and other religious minorities in predominantly Muslim countries in the Middle East that saw the rise of revolutionary movements in 2011 in which Islamist forces played an instrumental role.

For the first time ever, the State Department simply eliminated the section of religious freedom in its reports covering 2011 and instead referred the public to the 2010 International Religious Freedom Reporta full two years behind the times – or to the annual report of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), which was released last September and covers events in 2010 but not 2011.

Leonard Leo, who recently completed a term as chairman of the USCIRF, says that removing the sections on religious freedom from the State Department’s Country Reports on Human Rights is a bad idea.

Obama’s own administration would have to be added as one of the abusers of religious freedoms….

Mandy Nagy of Big Government: Report: 70 House Members to Call on DOJ to Investigate SWATting of Conservative Bloggers:

on his own radio show, Erickson played a recording of the 911 call that triggered the visit from law enforcement to his home.  He went on to describe the series of events that occurred on the evening of May 27th.  As he discussed the recent letterssent by Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss and Texas Congressman Kenny Marchant calling on the Department of Justice to investigate the SWATting incidents, Erickson announced a breaking development regarding Congressional actions:

I have been told that Monday, the House of Representatives will engage on this and seventy or more members will formally be sending a letter to Eric Holder, asking him on behalf of these members of the house to also get the FBI involved.

During the latter half of Erickson’s program, Breitbart News contributor Lee Stranahan phoned in as a guest.  In the early morning hours of May 28th, only hours after Erickson’s SWATting incident, Stranahan hosted a live online podcast to discuss the SWATtings.  As Breitbart News reported earlier:

An ExCon’s View: Withdrawing Support for National Bloggers Club:

As an ex-convict, I believe it is important to publicly and thoroughly expose and confess my own wrongdoing as part of my reparations to society. I must be honest about my previous activities, firstly to myself and secondly to the public, and I must never withhold such information from anyone, for any reason. To do otherwise is obfuscation, and risks recidivism into prior dishonest and unethical patterns of behavior.

If I am being interviewed for a job, I must inform my employer of my crimes. Even if I have not been directly asked! Otherwise, my employer’s reputation may itself be damaged, and I have thus created a new innocent victim.

One can run, but one can never hide.

Therefore, as someone with a great deal of personal experience in unethical behaviors, I find the public explanations, hidden criminal activities and apparent lack of honesty from the National Bloggers Club’s President Ali Akbar troubling. It is far less than the level of honesty required by such a position, which demands public trust and fiduciary responsibility.

FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
Remember when an alleged “singer,” performing under the name Champagne Dream, recorded an unspeakably wretched version of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama”?

Alas, the video has been removed from the Internet, so that readers can no longer experience the weird combination of insane laughter and projectile vomiting that Champagne’s performance invariably produced. More than two years later, however, the April 2010 blog post about that bizarre musical monstrosity – “VIDEO: Hate Crime Caught on Camera! – retains the all-time record for the most-commented post in the history of TheOtherMcCain.com.

“The big challenge we have in our economy right now is state and local government hiring has been going in the wrong direction,” Obama said.Christie argued that New Jersey has more government workers per square mile than any other state, but said the trend is reversing under his leadership. Midway through his first term, the state now has fewer people on its payroll than it has since Republican Christie Todd Whitman was governor more than a decade ago, he said.”That’s the right direction, Mr. President, not the wrong direction,” Christie said.”It is an outrage to have the president of the United States stand up and say to hard-working governors — Democrats and Republicans in this country — that state and local government hiring is moving in the wrong direction, and we’re to blame,” Christie said.

Unnerved by an unspoken mix of political bias and racial queasiness, the major media have chosen to know as little about Trayvon Martin as they know about Barack Obama.

As a case in point, consider this boy vs. man fable spun by the New York Times‘ Charles Blow:

A boy’s blood had been spilled on a rain-soaked patch of grass behind a row of mustard-colored condominiums by a man who had pursued him against the advice of 911 dispatchers. That man carried a 9-millimeter handgun. The boy carried a bag of candy.

Blow was writing seven weeks after Trayvon’s death.  He had no excuse for missing the actual story.  Worse, since he is a writer for the Times, his reporting has helped set the media tone worldwide

The media’s willful ignorance was on display again this past week.  In reporting this news of George Zimmerman’s return to jail, more than a few media outlets showed the dangerously deceptive image of Trayvon as 11-year-old cherub.  They did so in the assumption that the narrative was still theirs to control.  It is not.  The blogs, which have been doing the real detective work on this case, have long since taken control away from them.

Read on as Cashill reconstructs the events of ” that fateful rainy night of February 26.”
More on the case at The American Thinker, today: The Lynching of George Zimmerman:

Could there be an orchestrated campaign between government and media entities to see this man imprisoned, or even executed?  Despite the physical evidence of which we’re aware, an apparent lack of credible witnesses on either side of the case, and expert legal opinion belittling Florida’s case against Zimmerman, the FBI has launched a hate crime investigation against him.  And it could stick.

We might logically believe that the Fifth Amendment’s protection against double jeopardy would compel the Justice Department to abandon the case if Zimmerman is acquitted.  Not necessarily.  According to Cleveland State Professor Jonathan Witmer-Rich, Supreme Court precedent has established a narrow threshold for claiming double jeopardy.  “The double jeopardy clause would not prohibit a federal prosecution of Mr. Zimmerman, even if he were acquitted in Florida state court,” Prof. Rich states, although he believes that the likelihood of federal prosecution following a state acquittal is small.

However, FBI involvement means Department of Justice involvement, which in turn means Eric Holder involvement.  Mr. Holder’s idea of judicial impartiality is, shall we say, conflicted.

CDN: The Eye-Popping Wisconsin Story You Didn’t Read:

News reports of the union-orchestrated, DNC-backed, month-long occupation of the Wisconsin state capital last year were ubiquitous. This was followed by a flurry of recall efforts last summer and this winter against 16 senators (8 Republicans and 8 Democrats) – every senator that was eligible for recall – as well as Governor Scott Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. This recall was unprecedented. There have been only three times in history when more than one legislator has been recalled over any single issue.

What is less known is that the recall effort against Governor Walker – indeed, the entire attack – was far from spontaneous. Within days of his election the left began contemplating a recall, and it began in earnest in February of 2011, before his controversial budget bill was even passed. The left had him in its sights from day one.

Following the announcement of Governor Walker’s “Budget Repair Bill,” last February, unions went on a rampage. Beginning around February 15, 2011, protesters began massing around the state Capitol building in Madison.

Keep reading – it will make their defeat even sweeter.

A group of three publicly financed charter schools in Georgia run by followers of Fethullah Gulen, a prominent Turkish imam, have come under scrutiny after they defaulted on bonds and an audit found that the schools improperly granted hundreds of thousands of dollars in contracts to businesses and groups, many of them with ties to the Gulen movement.

The audit released Tuesday by the Fulton County Schools near Atlanta found the schools made purchases like T-shirts, teacher training and video production services from organizations with connections to school officials or Gulen followers. Those included more than $500,000 in contracts since January 2010 with the Grace Institute, a foundation whose board has included school leaders. In some cases the awards skirted bidding requirements, the audit said.

“I would just question how those vendors were selected when price in many instances wasn’t part of the decision making,” said the Fulton County superintendent, Robert Avossa, who criticized the schools for conflicts of interest. “And those are public dollars.”

Smitty at The Other McCain: Will Jesse Kelly Surf A Wisconsin Wave In The Arizona-8 Special Election 12Jun?:

Eternal political vigilance is the price of freedom, and we’ve got a multi-trillion dollar tab to show for how we, as a whole, have flaked off these decades. Signs of life such as yesterday’s recall in Wisconsin are necessary, but not sufficient. Continuous engagement is the new rule. Thus, attention shifts to a special election in Arizona’s 8th District, which holds a special election next Tuesday to replace the incredibly tough Gabrielle Giffords, wounded amidst the tragedy of January 8, 2011.

Daniel Halper, The Weekly Standard: Republicans on Leaks: Either President or Times Is WrongBoth cannot be correct:
President Obama at a press conference this morning insisted that high-level national security leaks are not coming from the White House. “The notion that my White House would purposefully release classified information is offensive,” President Obama said.

But a Republican memo from the Senate Republican Policy Committee maintains that either the president or the New York Times is wrong.

“It would appear the President’s statement and the New York Times statements directly conflict with each other and cannot both be true at the same time,” the memo states.

For proof, the memo highlights Obama’s denial that the White House is responsible for the leaks and certain statements in the Times‘s stories.

Doug Ross: All the President’s Leaks [Updated]:

To avoid a special prosecutor, the Department of Justice has assigned two U.S. attorneys to investigate the leaks.

Please consider the following stories, all of which are from the last few months alone:

Doug Powers at Michelle Malkin: Holder orders investigation of recent leaks:

Senator John McCain has wondered aloud if recent national security leaks have come from the highest levels of the White House for political purposes, comments the White House called “grossly irresponsible.” In yesterday’s press conference, President Obama said he was “offended” by those kinds of accusations. The administration is so adamant to track down who is responsible for the leaks that Jay Carney told reporters they would… oppose an independent probe.

Enter Attorney General Eric “if you see a reference to ‘Fast & Furious’ in my memos I might have been talking about the movie or something but definitely not the gun running operation” Holder, who last evening named two federal prosecutors to open a criminal investigation into the source(s) of the leaks. It’s Saturday and my skepticism is on vacay until Monday, so we’ll leave it at that and let ABC News take it from here:

Michelle Malkin: Conservative consumers: Stand your ground:

Who is Rashad Robinson? And why has his fringe, race-baiting organization been able to pressure several major corporations into abandoning a pro-limited-government legislative association — all for a few cheap social-justice brownie points?

Conservative consumers need to get informed, get active and stand their ground against free speech-squelching progressive activists who have demonized the American Legislative Exchange Council. This isn’t just a battle over ALEC. It’s a war against the left’s shakedown artists taking aim at our freedoms of speech and association.

ALEC, as I reported last week, is the four-decade-old policy organization of state legislators and like-minded business people who believe in “the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, limited government, federalism, and individual liberty.” They are under fire from a longstanding network of liberal groups — tied to the Democratic Party — that are unhappy with effective conservative opposition at the state and federal legislative levels.

Anti-ALEC hypocrites seized on the Trayvon Martin shooting case in Florida to blame ALEC and Republican lawmakers for their advocacy of Stand Your Ground self-defense legislation – even though the case does not implicate the policy and ALEC followed Florida’s lead on the legislation. Moreover, eight of the 15 states that have adopted such polices were helmed by Democratic governors at the time of passage.

Moe Lane: As of Monday, Jon Corzine is STILL bundling for Barack Obama?

Unbelievable –

I’m honestly flabbergasted: when the news came in on Saturday that the probably-won’t-be-indicted-for-anything-before-2013 Jon Corzine was still collecting cash for the President, I assumed that this no-doubt-grevious-oversight would be handled by, say, Monday morning.  After all, surely Corzine was radioactive after the suspicious collapse of his company MF Global?  Particularly since there’s now testimony contradicting Corzine’s about what happened to at least some of the 1.2 billion of customer money that went on walkabout during said collapse?

If the rule of law still meant anything in this country, Corzine would already be in federal prison, but it doesn’t so he remains a free man and  money-grubbing Obama is happy to take money from him. The most corrupt President in American history continues to appall.

Washington Free Beacon: Obama’s Ponzi Scheme Donor:

Bogus hedge fund manager Shervin Neman and wife are max-donors to Obama, DNC and under investigation by SEC.

The Persian-Jewish proprietor of a bogus hedge fund under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission is a prolific Democratic donor who dined at the Obama White House just months before the SEC shut down his Ponzi scheme.

Shervin Neman, a self-described hedge fund manager in Los Angeles, is said to have targeted members of his own Persian-Jewish community in a $7.54 million Ponzi scheme that the SEC claims “raised funds from at least 11 investors in the fraudulent securities offering.”

Neman, the SEC alleges, raised funds by fictitiously claiming he was a hedge fund manager with Neman Financial L.P. After collecting monies from unsuspecting investors, Neman claimed to have invested the money in high-grossing entities such as Facebook stock and foreclosed residential properties.

“Although Neman promised investors exorbitant returns resulting from his investing acumen and access to pre-IPO shares of well-known companies, what they actually received was simply other investors’ monies, the hallmark of a Ponzi scheme,” the SEC alleged in a statement on the matter.

The Quinton Report: Navy to name a ship the USS Harvey Milk?

Good God, make it stop…

Navy Times reports:

An upcoming addition to the Navy’s fleet may be the USS Harvey Milk if Rep. Bob Filner, D-Calif., and other San Diego gay rights leaders have their way about it.

The GLBT Historic Task Force of San Diego County and Filner sent letters to Navy Secretary Ray Mabus and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta last week asking for Harvey Milk to be considered as a name for a submarine, carrier or other appropriate vessel, according to a PR Newswire press release.

Milk, a late civil rights icon, was a Navy veteran who served aboard the submarine rescue ship Kittiwake as a diving officer during the Korean War. He went on to be a diving instructor at Naval Station San Diego. Milk, whose parents both also served in the Navy, was honorably discharged at the rank of lieutenant junior grade.

The Weekly Standard: Catholic Bishops Take on Obama:

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has taken a bold stand for religious freedom. In a recent statement, titled “Our First, Most Cherished Liberty,” the bishops call for repeal of contraception coverage mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services. The clarified position sets up a dramatic confrontation with the Obama administration—and would, if the bishops prevail, help preserve the religious liberty of all Americans.

The HHS mandate requires employers to provide insurance coverage for contraception and sterilization services. It is, according to the bishops, an “unjust law.” They write: “It cannot be obeyed and therefore one does not seek relief from it, but rather its repeal.”

The statement is a rebuke of President Obama and the so-called accommodation his administration proposed in February. It also raises the stakes between the president and the leaders of America’s Catholic Church.

The Right Scoop: Mark Levin: When will Obama speak out about Matthew Owens?

“I want to know when our president, our attorney general are going to speak out. Because frankly, their conduct and their initial words in the Martin/Zimmerman matter…were very provocative. And that’s not the way a president of the United States and an attorney general of the United Sates should behave themselves. We have crimes being committed now that are clearly race-based, without question! Because the perpetrators are saying so. … So this is my question. Why are they so silent? I think it’s absolutely appalling.”

According to the National Enquirer, which in this day and age is more reliable than the MSM:

Not being completely beholden to the Democrat agenda, the National Enquirer has become a relatively reliable source of news. Without it, the disgraceful John Edwards would still be one of the most powerful weasels in Washington. Now the Enquirer reveals that the boneheaded Democrat strategy of attacking Ann Romney for raising her children was hatched by none other than Michelle Antoinette:

Talking head Hilary Rosen set off a firestorm when she mocked Mitt Romney for relying on his wife for advice on the economy, sniping that Ann — who raised five sons, has battled breast cancer and suffers from multiple sclerosis — “never worked a day in her life!” …

A publicly sympathetic Michelle, 48, tapped out a message on Twitter, writing: “Every mother works hard, and every woman deserves to be respected.” But behind the scenes, her fingerprints were all over the scandal, said an inside source.

“Michelle had her claws out to get Ann, but it quickly backfired and Barack was livid when he heard she had secretly directed the attack,” said the source. …

“Michelle thought Rosen, an out-of-the-closet lesbian and close pal, could be their attack dog, but she miscalculated badly by going after stay-at-home moms,” said the source.

The Daily Caller: Rural kids, parents angry about Labor Dept. rule banning farm chores:

In Kansas, Cherokee County Farm Bureau president Jeff Clark was out in the field — literally on a tractor — when TheDC reached him. He said if Solis’s regulations are implemented, farming families’ labor losses from their children will only be part of the problem.

“What would be more of a blow,” he said, “is not teaching our kids the values of working on a farm.”

The Environmental Protection Agency reports that the average age of the American farmer is now over 50.

“Losing that work-ethic — it’s so hard to pick this up later in life,” Clark said. “There’s other ways to learn how to farm, but it’s so hard. You can learn so much more working on the farm when you’re 12, 13, 14 years old.”

John Weber, 19, understands this. The Minneapolis native grew up in suburbia and learned the livestock business working summers on his relatives’ farm.

He’s now a college Agriculture major.

“I started working on my grandparent’s and uncle’s farms for a couple of weeks in the summer when I was 12,” Weber told TheDC. “I started spending full summers there when I was 13.”

“The work ethic is a huge part of it. It gave me a lot of direction and opportunity in my life. If they do this it will prevent a lot of interest in agriculture. It’s harder to get a 16 year-old interested in farming than a 12 year old.”

This administration is at war with the American way of life…

Israel Matzov: Elie Weisel puts Obama in his place:

He said, “So in this place we may ask: Have we learned anything from it? If so, how is it that Assad is still in power? How is it that the number one Holocaust denier [Iranian president Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad is still a president? He who threatens to use nuclear weapons to destroy the Jewish state.”

Stacy on the Right: Republicans set to launch Black outreach efforts:

In a very savvy election year move, the Republican National Committee is coordinating a black outreach effort for the 2012 election season.  Although the move seems a bit late in coming, at least an effort is being made.  Chipping away at the the Democrats stranglehold on the black vote is a multi-year effort that will require creativity and tenacity.  Essentially, the war is won on the liberal networks that continually spout complete lies about Republican policies and enforce a zero tolerance rule for defections.

Big Journalism: NY Times Pledges ‘Unbiased Political Reporting’:

In an unprecedented move, New York Times public editor Arthur Brisbane took to the pages of his newspaper on Sunday to pledge to the reading public that they would do a better job vetting the president. Yes, you read that right: the New York Times is now channeling Andrew Breitbart. Here’s what he wrote:

The Times needs to offer an aggressive look at the president’s record, policy promises and campaign operation to answer the question: Who is the real Barack Obama?

Brisbane admits that critics “view The Times as constitutionally unable to address the election in an unbiased fashion.” He admits that The Times “basked a bit in the warm glow of Mr. Obama’s election in 2008.” (That phrase, in and of itself, constitutes significant pro-Obama bias, of course – he uses it twice in the course of the article.) But, he says, the bias wasn’t purposeful: “I think [our reporters] see themselves as aggressive journalists who don’t play favorites.”

The Heritage Foundation: The Federal Budget in Pictures:

The Foundry: Morning Bell: Do You Know What the Constitution Really Means?:

With a handful of words, the Founders set forth a simple principle that protects a central liberty enjoyed by all in this Republic — the freedom of speech, as recognized in the First Amendment. Yet after more than 200 years of history, liberals in Congress — including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) — aim to set that freedom on its head so they can further their efforts to silence their political opponents.

The proposal, which is known as the “People’s Rights Amendment,” would amend the Constitution and hold that constitutional rights are only for “natural persons,” meaning that corporations and legal entities would no longer enjoy the freedoms the Constitution guarantees. That would apply not just to companies like General Electric, but also to newspapers, churches, nonprofits, businesses, labor unions and book publishers alike. Individuals acting collectively — whatever their purpose — would wave the freedom of speech goodbye.

The Constitution should not be cast aside so quickly to achieve political ends, and its meaning must be carefully understood and respected. That’s why The Heritage Foundation is proud to announce a new resource to help the American people and their elected representatives learn more about the history of our founding document. Heritage’s Online Guide to the Constitution is a comprehensive and authoritative analysis of every single clause in the Constitution — and it’s available for free at ConstitutionOnline.com.

Most Corrupt Attorney General in US History Tells Al Sharpton Group: “This Is Our Moment”

Holder weighed in on the Trayvon Martin case,  telling the NAN audience that “‘Justice Dept Peacemakers’ are  working with  civil rights leaders, law enforcement officers and area residents to address and help alleviate community tensions.” No mention was made of the New Black Panther bounty that’s been put on the accused’s head.

That should come as little surprise, as Sharpton was just feted at the White House. For Easter.

Powerline: Obama As Dunce:

Pretty much everyone is piling on President Obama in connection with his airy dismissal of the concept of judicial review. The Department of Justice backtracked today in the form of a letter from Eric Holder to the 5th Circuit panel that asked for clarification of DOJ’s position on that topic. In his letter, Holder admits the obvious…

The American Spectator’s Ben Stein calls him a “know Nothing”:

Another subject Mr. Obama thinks he knows about and doesn’t is the oil companies. He hates them. He thinks they are subsidized by the workers in the cotton fields and then they exploit those workers. That is nonsense. Every business, every household, gets some deductions or credits for something. That’s the way the tax code works. The taxpayers are not subsidizing “Big Oil” and “Big Oil” is now a lot smaller than it was twenty years ago. Now, the state players in the major oil producing states are the big boys. But why does Mr. Obama loathe the oil companies in the first place? They provide an essential product at a market price. They do not fix prices. The provide employment to millions and a comfortable way to travel to hundreds of millions. Why does Mr. Obama hate them? Because of a juvenile, City College of New York circa 1937 leftist view of the whole world. Sad. Disturbing. That is a highly anti-American worldview.

Neal Boortz – goes there- as well he should – as well we all should –  Godwin’s be damned:

Obama is an utter and complete failure as president, but his ego – his narcissism –convinces him that he must have another four years to make his legacy complete.

No … wait a minute.  I’m wussied out on that.  It’s not so much ego and narcissism as it his intense dislike for this country and his desire to fundamentally transform America into the Marxist state he dreamed of as a young adult – all the way through childhood, college and into politics.

Come on, folks.  Wake up and smell the radicalism.  This is a man who was raised by communists.  This is a man who was infused with communist dogma his entire life.

***

OK … here’s the Year of Talking Dangerously  part.  The more I listen to Obama; the more I cringe at his lies and radical rhetoric, the more I am reminded of … brace for it … Adolf Hitler.  I am not the first talk show host to bring up this analogy.  Look – the left gets a pass on comparing every Republican president we’ve had since World War II to Hitler, so I get my say here.  The comparison is not without foundation.  During World War II the United States Office of Strategic Services created a psychological profile of Hitler.  We needed to know what made that despot tick.  Included in that profile were the following primary rules that Hitler followed to gain and solidify his hold on power

  • Never allow the public to cool off
  • Never admit a fault or wrong
  • Never concede that there may be some good in your enemy
  • Never leave room for alternatives
  • Never accept blame
  • Concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong
  • People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.

You hate to admit it, right?  But you can see every one of those points in Barack Obama and the tactics he is employing to get the four more years he needs to complete his destruction of America as you know it.

In the case of Dear Ruler, his “enemy” is the Republican Party and everything it stands for, including private enterprise.  Obama is engaged in a full-on psychological war against the Republicans, and yesterday’s speech on Paul Ryan’s budget plan was a testament to this.  There was no real reason to pick a fight with Paul Ryan’s plan – it stands little chance of passing the Senate – but for Obama it does make for a great enemy.

I’ve been thinking this since he politicized the NEA in 2009: Triumph of the Hope and Change. As Ace quipped at the time,  “if you don’t want to be called a Nazi, stop doing Nazi stuff.” Well, Obama’s been doing “Nazi stuff” for three straight years – it’s about time people started calling him out on it.

Joseph Curl, Washington Times: Divide and conquer — Obama knows exactly what he’s saying:

“Impeach the Supreme Court Justices If They Overturn Health-Care Law,” wrote David Dow, a columnist for the Daily Beast. “It is the duty of the people to protect the Constitution from the court. Social progress cannot be held hostage by five unelected men.”

And there, in a nutshell, is Mr. Obama’s plan to divide and conquer. Rise up, America, against your nation’s Congress, your nation’s highest court — and even America’s Constitution.

His desperation is now palpable, and it’s only April. This is going to get ugly, people.

The organized left will be mobilized like never before. And remember – the Community Organizer in Chief  considers Americans who don’t support his policies, “enemies”.

An example of the Divide and conquer strategy at work:

Weasel Zippers: Gallup Poll: 51% of Blacks Say Zimmerman “Definitely Guilty” of Crime In Trayvon Martin Shooting, Only 11% of Non-Blacks…

In other words, the race hustlers are winning.

And… No Joke: UN Human Rights Chief Calls For “Immediate Investigation” Into Trayvon Martin Shooting…

Bonus: The AFP refers to Zimmerman as a “white Hispanic.”

This next one hits close to home. As any conservative Catholic could tell you – the Marxists have had much success burrowing  into deepest confines of the church. Like termites, they have chewed up real church doctrine and replaced it with something foul and false. It should be no surprise that Obama would have used those Catholics to exploit the Church.

Big Government: The Vetting: Obama Exploited Catholics To Push Universal Health Care In Illinois:

In 1999, then-State Senator Barack Obama invoked the late radical Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, who passed away in 1996, to promote a universal health care law he co-sponsored and which Illinois voters had overwhelmingly rejected.

The bill incorporated language directly from the late cardinal’s 1995 pastoral letter, “A Sign of Hope,” which argued for a “fundamental right” to healthcare, reading, in part: “Health care is an essential safeguard of human life and dignity, and there is an obligation for society to ensure that every person be able to realize that right.”

Supporters of single payer health care, like Dr. Quentin Young of Physicians for a National Health Program, understood Bernardin to be calling for a government takeover of health care. “Cardinal Bernardin wrote on the moral questions we’re talking about,” Dr. Young told the Palm Beach Post on January 4, 1998. “His concept was that human dignity requires an ethic that assures health care to all people in a society.”

Seton Motley, Big Government: Obama 2012 and Facebook: Your Privacy, Diminished:

Senator Obama became President Obama in large part because of his much ballyhooed online prowess.

Propelled by Internet, Barack Obama Wins Presidency

Obama Raised Half a Billion Online

How Obama’s Internet Campaign Changed Politics

Perhaps the most important amongst Obama’s many cronies are Leftist mega-corporations Facebook and Google – the twin titans of online data compilation.

Candidate Obama wasn’t good – so much as Facebook and Google were good for him.

And it looks like they’re lining up to be good for him again.  We’ll begin with Facebook.

IBD: Obama Alienates Canada And Mexico At Three Amigos:

Diplomacy: Most summits are mush-mouthed affairs full of pleasantries. Tuesday’s “Three Amigos” summit was different: a litany of how President Obama has alienated our neighbors.

You wouldn’t know this from reading the mainstream media, which reported the disastrous summit with anodyne headlines like: “Obama talks trade, energy with Canada, Mexico leaders at Summit” (Associated Press) and “Obama, Mexico’s Calderon vow more drug crime cooperation” (Reuters).

Obama’s neglect of our nearest neighbors and biggest trade partners has created deteriorating relations, a sign of a president who’s out of touch with reality. Problems are emerging that aren’t being reported.

Fortunately, the Canadian and Mexican press told the real story.

Don Surber: Gather. Reince. Repeat.

The New York Times gave grudging respect to the Republican National Committee for its fund-raising efforts. Reince Priebus as chairman has gathered so much money without spending a lot that he has given Republicans a lead in cash on hand in a year when President Obama has frantically raised money — sending his wife out 43 times to raise money in the last 43 weeks.

The Daily Caller: MSNBC duped: Network runs satirical fake news from Daily Kos as a real story:

Does this surprise you?

On his Wednesday broadcast, Roberts reported that technology juggernauts Apple and Microsoft were “marrying up” and taking on same-sex marriage opponent the National Organization for Marriage.

“In the meantime, get this,” Roberts said. “Tech rivals Apple and Microsoft are marrying up and asking the National Organization for Marriage its supporters to boycott their companies. This follows the release of secret documents last week showing part of the organization’s strategy to quote ‘drive a wedge’ between blacks and gays on the issue of marriage equality.”

Only one problem: They’re not “marrying up,” at least for now.

The report was apparently based on a “satirical post” published on the Daily Kos on Monday by Scott Wooledge. The post was later republished by The Huffington Post’s comedy section and was presented as satire.

NOTE: This piece is satirical. All quotations are fabrications for the purpose of satire,” the piece read.

That wasn’t the first time it’s happened, either. Moron. I don’t know what could be more humiliating than being punked by a Kos Kiddie’s lame attempt at humor.

President Obama’s offshore drilling moratorium following the 2010 oil spill caused widespread job losses and a significant drop in energy production in the Gulf of Mexico. Two years later, a U.S. House committee wants to know why the administration misled the public about the drilling ban.

The House Natural Resources Committee yesterday issued its first subpoena to the Department of the Interior after Secretary Ken Salazar refused to turn over documents related to the moratorium. At issue is why Salazar’s department suggested a panel of engineering experts supported the drilling ban when in fact they did not.

Despite the Obama administration’s transparency promises, Salazar has rebuffed the committee’s requests and stymied the department’s inspector general investigation. Salazar, who previously apologized, was defiant when asked about the subpoena:

The bottom line is I’m very comfortable with everything we did including the time out and reset button that we had to put in place in the Gulf of Mexico. What the House Natural Resources and energy committee is doing is simply a distraction in the name of politics.

Natural Resources Chairman Doc Hastings (D-WA) said it was important to understand what happened and why Salazar failed to conduct any technical, scientific or economic analysis prior to imposing the drilling ban. He gave the department one week to produce the documents. The subpoena was a last resort for the committee.

Here’s another one for the committee to look into, since falsifying reports is Salzar’s M/O….

Ace: Former Interior Department Adviser: Ken Salazar Was So Determined To Remove Dams, His Agency Cooked The Books To Get The “Science” He Wanted:

Remember, Obama is the All of the Above Energy Candidate.

Hydroelectric dams create cheap power which do not burn any fuel. Water powers the turbines. Essentially free electricity is generated (though there are of course staffing/maintenance costs, but these are pretty trivial).

So, we’re not interested in combustible fuels. Now we also are dismantling our hydroelectric sources.

A former science adviser to the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation was fired in February, shortly after he alleged that the Obama administration intentionally falsified scientific fact in a proposal for dam removal in the Klamath River.

Professor Paul Houser of George Mason University, in an allegation to the Office of the Executive Secretariat and Regulatory Affairs in the Department of the Interior, said that Sec. Ken Salazar’s determination to remove the dams resulted in “intentional biased (falsification) reporting of scientific results.”

He also alleged that when he voiced his concern about the scientific integrity of the press release involving the dam removal in September, very few of his concerns were taken into consideration.

Houser was later terminated from his government job.

Another government whistleblower fired – imagine that.

Media Research Center: Bozell Rejects NBC’s False Apology:

Good. They’re only sorry they were caught.

Last week, NBC’s “Today Show” doctored George Zimmerman’s 9-1-1 call so that his motive for shooting Trayvon Martin appeared racial.  Over the weekend, NBC reported to The Washington Post that an investigation would be forthcoming after the Media Research Center exposed their fraud.  It appears NBC’s investigation has been completed.  Last night, NBC issued a two sentence explanation on it.  Media Research President Brent Bozell says that this is as dishonest as the original piece.

“We reject this fraudulent apology,” said Bozell.  “We’re not surprised. After all, NBC ‘investigated’ itself. We again call on Comcast, not NBC, to investigate this matter — thoroughly, honestly, and professionally.”

In NBC’s apology, they stated that an “error” was made and that they “deeply regret” it.  “There was no ‘error,’ as if a ‘mistake’ was made. This was a willful distortion, deliberately taking the quotes out of context in order to twist their meaning and feed the narrative of a racist assault. The level of dishonesty and journalistic abuse of the public trust is astonishing,” contends Bozell.

Steve Green, Vodkapundit: Your Friday Morning Dose of Doom and Gloom:

Wow — what a stinker of a jobs report. First, let me show you why it’s worse than it looks. Then I’ll show you why it’s even worse than that.

The big number, 8.2% unemployment, is down one-tenth of one percent from last month, on 120,000 net new jobs. But 120,000 is only just barely enough to keep up with population growth, because that’s about how many people should enter the labor force each month, every month, the whole year round. But even more people — 164,000 — simply gave up, stopped looking for work, and are no longer any concern of the BLS. The experts had predicted jobs growth of anywhere from 200,000 to 250,000.

ASIDE: We need to net about 1.5 million jobs a year just to stay even with our growing population. We’ve netted about 2.5 million in the almost three years since the Great Recession ended. So we’re almost two million jobs short of nothing more than treading water. Yeah, that’s bad.

James Pethokoukis: If Obama loses in November, it’ll probably be because of this chart:

While most of the economic focus today is on March’s tepid job growth and the unemployment rate, incomes may well play a bigger political role than jobs in 2012. And the numbers today didn’t look too hot. Wages are going the wrong direction.

Pray for little Bella – Political Hotsheet: Rick Santorum’s daughter Bella has been hospitalized again:

(CBS News) — Rick Santorum and his wife Karen’s three-year-old daughter Bella is back in the hospital, according to a Friday email from his campaign. The release did not detail how serious Bella’s condition was, but the child had a rare genetic disorder called Trisomy 18 that claims the lives of most children within a year of birth.

Most comments are sympathetic, but check this out:

by MTATL67 April 6, 2012 11:45 AM EDT

Multiple degrees, doesn’t have to work can run for president and has health insurance for his sick daughter. HHmm one might think Mr. Santorum is an aristocrat.

Seriously?

Michelle Malkin: Marion Barry and the Left’s hatred of Asian entrepreneurs:

Marion Barry’s mouth set him up. The disgraced former mayor of Washington, D.C., caught on tape in a 1990 crack cocaine sting, made an even bigger disgrace of himself and his city on Tuesday. Celebrating a Democratic primary victory, the city councilman attacked small businesses owned by “Asians” in his district. Then the race-baiting clown doubled down.

Barry told supporters in D.C.’s Ward 8: “We got to do something about these Asians coming in and opening up businesses and dirty shops. They ought to go.” Once pushed out, Barry, promised, he would replace the foreign invaders with “African-American business people.” Barry then took to social networking platform Twitter to expound on the perils of “dirty” Asian shops in his neighborhood.

As documented by my Twitter curation start-up Twitchy.com (click here for the full story), Barry posted photos of supposedly hazardous stores – including Chinese restaurants surrounded not by trash or toxic waste, but by plexiglass barriers and reinforced doors. Barry explained that Asian-owned businesses that had the audacity to protect themselves from crime were “lowering standards” in his constituents’ communities.

Oh, and Michelle also spotlights a couple of establishments conservatives may want to avoid: Kabuki: Arby’s fakes a Rush Limbaugh advertising protest; Update: Walgreen’s joins hands with Soros mob:

Last night, I linked to the story about Arby’s blocking conservatives on Twitter for protesting the company’s protest of conservative talk show giant Rush Limbaugh.

Today, the Right Sphere notes that Arby’s president is a big Democrat donor.

Here’s the bottom line on this latest manufactured attempt by the Hush Rush mob to make it appear that he and the radio stations that carry his show are suffering economic harm because of Soros monkey-directed pressure.

It’s complete bull. Total Kabuki theater. Arby’s is not and has not ever been a national sponsor of Rush’s program. In the radio industry, advertisers can buy “Run of Schedule” — commercials that are to be aired during different times of the day for more than one day on local stations. Arby’s most likely told local stations not to run their ads during Rush’s show. That is not a cancellation of an ad buy; there’s no loss of money.

This is prog gesture politics to create the appearance of an anti-Rush advertising stampede. It’s astro-turfed by lying Media Matters hitmen.

Duly noted – Arby’s and Walgreens – I was never a fan of their fake beef, anyway – and Walgreens has nothing CVS doesn’t have.

Good news from Yid With Lid: BREAKING: MJ Rosenberg OUT At Media Matters:

Media Matters For America’s Jew-Hater-In-Chief is out!   I believe he was pushed.  His promise to stop using the Anti-Semitic term Israel-firster made at the beginning of March  did not take the pressure off himself, or that of MMFA.

Obama Media Sycophants Renew Their Race Cards Just In Time For 2012 Election

Race.

The race card.  Racism.  Race-race-race.  It’s all  they f*cking got to run on these days.

The word is out –

Newsbusters: NYT Editorial Page Editor Calls Boehner Racist for Asking Obama to Delay Speech  to Congress:

Is House Speaker John Boehner an anti-Obama racist? Editorial Page editor Andrew  Rosenthal all but accuses him in his Tuesday blog from Des Moines, “Nobody  Likes to Talk About It, but It’s There.” (The web headline is blunter: “Republican Attacks Have Racist Undertones.”)

…Race?  Hasn’t Obama played that one  out already?  It’s become a joke.

LifeNews: Santorum Tagged as Racist for Saying Obama Should be Pro-Life:

When Rick Santorum dared to allude to the dehumanization of black Americans in our country’s flawed history, liberals went into full attack mode. What is it about the documented past that causes such a visceral adverse reaction from liberals? Santorum, in a January 2011 CNS interview about President Obama’s denial of personhood to the unborn, found it remarkable for a “black man to say no, we’re going to decide who are people and who are not people.”

Many others, including me (as black as Obama) do, too. Considering black people, mixed or not, were considered less than human and subjected to dehumanization since stepping foot on American soil, Santorum’s remarks were a powerful and legitimate commentary on the question and history of personhood.

…Played it out?  No, not…you might think  so but no…his people are going to raise the issue of race to a level this  country hasn’t seen since the Civil Rights movement.  White guilt got  Barack Obama the nomination.  White guilt got Barack Obama into the White House.  At least it was a big part of  it…

AoSHQ: LA Times: Parody of Michelle Obama as Marie Antoinette is Objectively, Factually Racist:

Let them explain:

The caricature of Obama as a profligate queen relies on the racist stereotype of an “uppity Negro,” which emerged among slave masters in an earlier American era. Obama, born into a working-class Chicago family whose roots are traced to the pre-Civil War South, graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School, prior to holding several high-level positions in the academic and private sectors.

The racist image appeared Tuesday on the right-wing blog Gateway Pundit; the slur was later called out by Media Matters for America. A post by Gateway blogger Jim Hoft paired the picture with a clip of the first lady’s guest appearance on a forthcoming episode of “iCarly,” a Nickelodeon sit-com. In the script, Obama commends the cast for their support of military families. Responding to a cast member who mistakenly addresses her as “your excellency,” the script has Obama jokingly reply, “I kinda like it.”

You know what other stereotype it relies upon?  The actual historical memory of Marie Antoinette (whether or not that’s fair) as a profligate queen who thought rules were for the little people, and who lived in high style while saying (I know she didn’t say this) “Let them eat cake.”

But oh, right, no it can’t be what it’s obviously about.  It’s got to be about that slave thing.  Because.

What?

Unless there are some racial caricatures in that facial rendering which I’m unable to detect due to the low resolution of this photo, there is absolutely nothing “racist” here at all.

…they are not sure they can run on the economy by summer of 2012.   Motivation is way down – the people on the ground.  Many of them will be  sitting this one out.  The campaign conducted over five internals in the  last few months. Each time the one issue that came back favorably for the  president was the color of his skin.  People are not comfortable…white  people are not comfortable going against a person of color.  At least not a  whole lot of them.

Weasel Zippers: MSNBC: Joan Walsh Says Republicans Using “Dog-Whistle” Racism To Lure “White Working Class” Voters To Their Party…

Via RCP:

“This really is the kind of dog-whistle politics that the Republican party has used to lure our people, the white working class, over to their party, to tell them over and over that money’s being — their money’s being given to black people when in fact, as we all know, it’s been given to rich people.”

Those studies – those kinds of studies…they were first  incorporated by the Hillary campaign back in 2007 and 2008.  It scared the  hell out of her – she was so afraid of being called a racist.  So she  attacked Obama on his lack of experience, she just touched on some of the  Chicago garbage…but in the end, the race issue kept her from really engaging in  all out political war.  The Clinton machine was handcuffed.

AoSHQ: CBS Just Makes Up Santorum Saying He Doesn’t Want to Give “Black People” Money:

In mid-sentence, he seems to have stumbled over whether his next word would be “people” or “lives.”  He corrects it, in the end, to “people’s lives,” but with a non-word before it.

The word isn’t “black.”  It’s just not a word at all.  It’s a slur of p and b (closely related labials) and lie as he can’t figure out it’s going to be lives or people’s lives he says next.

To the extent he said any word at all, he came closest to saying “Bligh.”  So he’s apparently against giving money to mutineered captains. Which, actually, is sensible enough.  Look, don’t get mutineed, dude.  We shouldn’t subsidize losing control of your ship.

See for yourself.

Also note that that is CBSNews online claiming that this stutter was a racial slur, not some stupid blog.  CBSNews probably got it from a blog, of course.

But now they’re just running that claim.  If I could tell he didn’t say black, how did CBSNews be so sure he did say it?

When  Obama used race to get America to forgive the fact he spent some 20 years  sitting in the church of a proven anti-American fascist f*cking racist – what  could they do?  It was game over.

Newsbusters: Behar and Goldberg See Racism When Gingrich Talks of Helping Poor:

After asserting that children should not have to work, she and Behar went on  to accuse Gingrich of racism:

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: And the idea that he would add into this  conversation that this will help them not become pimps and prostitutes and drug  dealers-
JOY BEHAR: Well, that’s a little, I don’t know what the word to  use-
GOLDBERG: It’s called racist.
BEHAR: Thank you.
GOLDBERG: You know, it’s called racist. Who is he talking about?

Don’t you understand it then?  How race – that very thing that pulled his  ass out of the fire back in 2008 – that’s the plan for 2012.  But even more  of it.  They got an entire plan to utilize it.  Targeting certain  states.  A media campaign.

Mediaite: Melissa Harris Perry: Michele Bachmann’s ‘Tax The Poor’ Rhetoric Is ‘Just Racism’:

The comment in question from Rep. Bachmann was an argument on her part that taxes should be raised on those who don’t pay any– “we need to get more in line,” she told a crowd, “because everyone… should pay something.” She also cited a statistic that only 53% of Americans pay taxes. “I think that’s just racism,” Harris Perry argued, likening it to the “2011 version of the welfare queen.” “What that is meant to imply is that there is a whole group that is dependent,” she explained, and the subtext to that being that the group is comprised of “unworking, unmarried poor black women who are welfare queens.” The “53%” talk, she concluded, was “just a way of evoking all of these scary, racialized, and poor others.”

Use it as a weapon against prospective  opponents – the Romney people better be ready because he’s gonna get his ass  kicked with the race issue and he won’t even see it coming.  They better  have their boy prepared for that…

The words “Mitt Romney racist” bring up about 4,250,000 results  on Google.

It’s in place and underway – being developed. Further developed.  It’s  gonna – gonna tie it in with the unions somehow.

Powerline: Voting Rights? It All Depends:

Yesterday a motley coalition of left-wing groups operating under the name Stand For Freedom marched in New York City, ostensibly to support voting rights. A large number of groups were represented, almost more organizations than people: the NAACP, the ACLU, SEIU, CAIR, the Communist Party, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, the Hispanic Federation, the United Federation of Teachers, the Action Network, NOW, several Democratic politicians, and many more. Despite the event’s wide-ranging sponsorship, only 1,000 to 2,000 people showed up to march.

I don’t know exaclty how – just that’s included in it.  It will be an all out campaign on  race.  The goal is to completely mobilize the Black vote while shaming an  even greater number of white voters into not opposing a second Obama term.  They are gonna get out the guilt  vote man.  The guilt vote!

The Hill: Democrat says GOP trying to deny blacks the right to vote:

A Democratic lawmaker said Wednesday on the House floor that Republican legislators around the country are purposefully trying to deny blacks the right to vote by pushing for voter identification laws.

“It’s no coincidence that a disproportionate number of these affected voters come from communities of color as well as the poor, the elderly and students,” said Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), a former chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus.

They want all of it (black votes). Every last one.  Then bring  in the Hispanic vote, tie them up in this race issue as well.  Republicans  want to toss you out.  Obama wants to bring you in.  They hate the  color of Obama’s skin just like they hate the color of yours.  Hey White  America, you aren’t part of that group who hates non-whites are you?  If  not, you better get out and vote for Barack Obama.

Daily Caller:  Justice  Dept. silent as Holder charges critics with racism:

Attorney General Eric Holder accused his growing chorus of critics of racist  motivations in a Sunday interview published in the New York Times. When reached  by The Daily Caller Monday morning, the Department of Justice provided no  evidence to support the attorney general’s claims.

Holder said some unspecified faction — what he refers to as the “more extreme  segment” — is driven to criticize both him and President Barack Obama due to the  color of their skin. Holder did not appear to elaborate on who he considered to  make up the “more extreme segment.”

“This is a way to get at the president because of the way I can be identified  with him,” Holder said, according to the Times. “Both due to the nature of our  relationship and, you know, the fact that we’re both African-American.”

Schools, television, movies…decades of this racism shit coming at them from all  sides.  White guilt is very real. I’ve used it-done it  myself… countless times in an election campaign.  And for Barack  Obama…his re-election team – they are banking on it bringing victory in  2012.  Even if it means the threat of race riots.  They are willing to  go that far – go down that road if need be.

Breitbart TV: NBC News’ Bashir Hints Gingrich Rhetoric Could Lead to Racial Violence:

Martin Bashir starts out with a sad story of the murder of a man overseas and an investigation that revealed police negligence due to racism. Bashir then says to his audience, “Now listen to some of the things that are being said by these Republican candidates.”

If the Obama team can’t  guilt enough of White America into voting for them in 2012 – they are just fine  with trying to scare the shit out of them to do it.  And you need to know  that there are a lot of Democrats who are hearing about this and are not on  board. We’ve always used the race issue to our advantage – but what  the Obama team has planned is something…it’s something else  altogether.  Off the charts stuff. Remember when I said that Obama ain’t no  Democrat?  That’s as true now as it’s ever been.  And he’s on some  kind of collission course now with everybody scrambling to get out of the way,  and then some of us trying to do what we can to stop it before it’s too late.

Most of the above headlines are just from the past few weeks, and they barely scrape the surface.

The Democrat Media Complex have their marching orders and they’re not even being subtle about it.

“The Plan”, as explained by “White House insider”, last August, is unfolding right before our eyes.
