The Merry Merry Month of May

may

It’s my favorite time of the year. The trees and grass are have turned green, flowers are blooming, and following April’s stormy clashes of cold air vs. warm air – the warm air has finally won out. (In most parts of the country I should note for Colorado and Wyoming’s sake.) May means Spring clean-up, gardening, dirty fingernails and usually my first exposure to poison ivy.

Also it’s graduation month, and I have two of them – one daughter graduating from high school, today and the other from college, next week.

All this is my way of explaining my light blogging these past few days. It’s a fun time – a happy time – but a very busy time.

Garden Blogging!

Daisies!

I love them! No, they’re not a fancy variety, but they’re so simple to grow, and so so obliging year after year! They’re really one of my favorite flowers.

And Now For Something Cute

I used to wonder what “little people” looked like when they were little.

Then I had one. Turns out they’re incredibly adorable. This is my now 7 year old at age 2.
