Cruz Calls For Investigation of MS Runoff: “It Would Be Abominable If Repubs Were Involved In Voter Fraud”

“What happened in Mississippi was appalling,” said Senator Ted Cruz on the Mark Levin Radio Show Monday evening. “Primaries are always rough and tumble but the conduct of the Washington DC machine in the Mississippi run-off machine was incredibly disappointing.”

“In that race,” he continued, “we know some things – and then there are even more serious allegations that have been raised. What we know at the outset, is that Chris McDaniel won a sizable majority of the votes from Republicans in the runoff. But the DC machine spent hundreds of millions of dollars urging some 30,000 to 40,000 partisan Democrats to vote in the runoff and they changed the outcome.”

Cruz made sure to note that “all of us want to grow the party,” adding, “but what the DC machine did was not to grow the party – the ads they ran were racially charged false attacks and they were explicit promises to continue to expand the welfare state. And nobody has suggested that the Democrats who voted in the primary will actually vote Republican in the general election. Instead, they were just recruited to decide who the Republican nominee was.”

As unprincipled and wrong as that was, more troubling are the serious allegations of voter fraud, Cruz continued. “And I very much hope that no Republican was involved with voter fraud.”

He said, “these allegations need to be vigorously investigated and anyone involved in criminal conduct should be prosecuted. The voters of Mississippi deserve to know the truth.”

After the break, Cruz repeated his call for an investigation and his hope that no Republicans were involved in it. “I think it would be abominable if Republicans were involved in voter fraud,” he concluded.

Let me tell you something. The Stupid Party better wise up real fast, because what happened in Mississippi was so nasty, so corrupt, and rotten, it could seriously derail their chances of retaking the Senate.

I have the same sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that I had when Todd Akin irredeemably botched an abortion question during the 2012 election season.  The Democrat party was having some success with their manufactured Republican War on Women narrative and Akin walked right into a mine field with his “legitimate rape” comment. He needed to step down and let another Republican take his place in the wake of the firestorm. But he refused. And he lost. I knew he would lose.  Missouri was sentenced to another six years of Claire McCaskill – a tragic outcome could have been avoided.

The GOP establishment seems to have no idea how disgusted and enraged the conservative base is about their corrupt  tactics in the Mississippi runoff. If they were smart, they would ask Cochran to step down and let the younger, sharper, and more popular Republican Chris McDaniel take his place.

All would be forgotten. (Of course, if any laws were broken, those involved would need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.) But if Cochran is the candidate , he cannot be considered a sure thing in the general – in fact, my gut is telling me he’ll lose. And frankly, he deserves to.

And that makes retaking the Senate all the more difficult.

Republicans may have succeeded in making themselves their own worst enemy in the Fall by refusing to yield any ground at all to any already weary base.

“This infighting has taken its toll,” said Amy Walter, a national political analyst for the nonpartisan Cook Political Report. Republicans “are not as enthusiastic as they were in 2010. Even they are a little bit disillusioned by what’s been happening over the last couple years.”

That also means Republican candidates are not getting the benefit of the doubt among independent voters as they did in 2010, Walter added.

Did The Cochran Campaign Buy Black Votes? Because That Would Be Illegal / Updated

It’s incomprehensible to me that the Republican establishment felt like it was necessary to go all out in that Mississippi primary, last week.  76 year old Thad Cochran is a Senator so out of touch, he didn’t know about House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s primary loss until three days later.  The reverberations of this mess are still being felt and stench of corruption has not dissipated.

What Majority Leader Mitch McConnell recently called “a nice family fight in some of our primaries”  has caused a huge rift between the establishment and the grassroots. And the grassroots are not in the mood to kiss and make up.

Was Thad Cochran’s victory worth having a Republican explicitly running on the glory of earmarks and the value of large federal spending projects in the state? Why not just hold up a giant flashing neon sign saying “WE DON’T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT”?

Was it worth running radio ads declaring, “By not voting, you’re saying, ‘Take away all of my government programs, such as food stamps, early breakfast and lunch programs, millions of dollars to our black universities”?

Was Cochran’s victory worth a flyer like this one, contending that the Tea Party is racist?

No. I daresay it was not. There’s a difference between hardball tactics and sleezeball tactics. I generally associate sleezeball, Alinskyesque, ends-justify-the-means tactics with the left – not the party I support and for whom I fight. Shame on the GOP for being a party to this. I am seriously displeased.

But it gets worse.

Aaron Gardner of Red State and Charles Johnson of Got News have evidence that point to the Cochran campaign buying votes – which is illegal.

Redstate: BREAKING: New Allegations Point to Cochran Campaign in Mississippi Senate Vote Buying Scandal:

An audio interview has surfaced in which the interviewee claims that he was to be paid by the Cochran camp to grease voters in the Mississippi GOP Senate runoff election. The audio interview, which coincides with a separate audio recording and batch of evidence produced by the newly launched GotNews.com, a project by Charles C. Johnson, alleges that the Cochran campaign conspired with a Mississippi Reverend to buy the votes of African American voters, who happen to be democrats.

Before I get into the weeds of what is in the audio interview and transcript, which are both below, let me set up the stage a bit. What is alleged to have occurred is illegal and very serious business. Under Mississippi law the alleged crimes could lead to Thad Cochran being removed from the Senate. Everything that follows comes from sources either on the ground in Mississippi, or those working closely with them.

Reverend Fielder has claimed to have evidence that would prove illegal activity took place in the Mississippi GOP Senate run off election. Furthermore, the evidence he claims he has would implicate the Barbour machine and a staffer to Cochran’s Senate campaign. The motivations of the Reverend are not those of a saint. As is made clear throughout the interview and in the transcript, this Reverend is looking to get paid to provide information, just as he sought to get paid to deliver votes by illegal means. Reverend Fielder claims that Cochran’s people were supposed to pay him approximately $15,000 for his efforts, but failed to do so after the incumbent Senator had achieved victory in the run off.

With all of that said, if the evidence is produced and validated, I don’t know how much longer Thad Cochran will be a Senator.

Aaron Gardner and Charles Johnson talked with Thomas LaDuke of FTR Radio about the Illegal Vote Buying scheme.

Audio here.

This “family fight” isn’t over, yet – there will be a reckoning. As John Boehner would say, it’s not a matter of who loses their jobs. Who’s going to jail?

Red State: #MSSen FEC Now Looking Into Pro Cochran SuperPAC:

From Roll Call, the defecation has begun to hit the rotary wind device:

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has sent a Request For Additional Information (RFAI) to Mississippi Conservatives, a Super PAC supporting the re-election of Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss.  The committee has until August 1st to respond, or the failure to do so “could result in an audit or enforcement action.”

I will note here that the local news reported tonight that deputies of the Hinds County Sheriff Department were outside of the GOP Headquarters as leaders discussed the allegations of fraud.

We are told deputies are checking the identification of anyone wishing to enter the building.

In addition, State Senator Michael Watson tells WJTV News Channel 12 that the McDaniel camp has found 3,300 “irregular votes” from last Tuesday’s election.

A spirited discussion on Hannity with NY Civil Rights leader Michael Myers and radio talk show  host Dennis Prager:

TRUE THE VOTE FILES SUIT AGAINST MISSISSIPPI, STATE REPUBLICAN PARTY:

REQUESTS IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO ELECTION RECORDS AHEAD OF CERTIFICATION DEADLINE

OXFORD, MS. — July 1, 2014:
True the Vote (TTV), the nation’s leading voters’ rights and election integrity organization, today filed suit in federal court against the Mississippi Secretary of State and the State Republican Party, asking the Court to immediately order that election records be shared to inspect for illegal votes ahead of certification for the June 24 U.S. Senate Primary Runoff Election (True the Vote, et. al v. State of Mississippi, et. al. (3:14cv144-MPM-SAA)).

True the Vote and associated plaintiffs argue that the defendants failed to properly abide by federal election record maintenance and open records provisions codified in the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA). Records made partially available to the plaintiffs indicated “double-voting” from Democratic to Republican primaries — potentially diluting votes in violation of the Equal Protection Clause.

“All we are asking is that the MS State Republican Party follow the law; allow their designated county representatives to inspect the poll books and ballots, give them the review time they are permitted by law, and allow them to uphold their responsibility to MS voters,” True the Vote President Catherine Engelbrecht said. “True the Vote has been inundated with reports from voters across Mississippi who are outraged to see the integrity of this election being undermined so that politicos can get back to business as usual. Enough is enough.”

“This isn’t about personality, party, or politics. Senators come and go,” Engelbrecht continued. “What must withstand the test of time is the integrity of the process by which we elect our representatives and establish our government. No candidate or party should ever be allowed to twist election laws or subvert voters’ rights in the interest of political ambition.”

True the Vote has closely followed developments surrounding the Mississippi Republican Primary Runoff from the beginning. On June 21, TTV released figures demonstrating unusual voter turnout patterns based on historic data. On June 25, the organization formally requestedthat MS Republican Party Chairman Joe Nosef delay certification of the election and share voting records for independent review. Finding no assistance from the state party, TTV and the collected 13 plaintiffs were left no option but to pursue the matter in federal court.

True the Vote’s lawsuit consists of three counts:

Count One:Violation of NVRA’s Public Disclosure Provision. Shortly before the Republican Primary Runoff Election, True the Vote, via its volunteer base, made a valid and timely request to review voter rolls and poll books under the NVRA, but it was denied access to those records.

Count Two:Individual Plaintiffs Allege a Violation of NVRA Based on Conflict with State Laws.Plaintiffs seek a declaration that the NVRA preempts any state requirement calling for public election information to be redacted at the cost of the requestor.

Count Three:Individual Plaintiffs Allege an Equal Protection Violation. Discovering potential instances of “double-voting” between Democratic and Republican primaries are unlawful dilutions of individual votes.

True the Vote engaged legal representation with the firm of Beirne, Maynard & Parsons L.L.P. TTV’s complaint was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, Oxford Division.

A copy of the complaint has been made available here.

True the Vote (TTV) is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) voters’ rights organization, founded to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral process. TTV empowers organizations and individuals across the nation to actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation. Poll: 78% Favor Requiring Proof of Citizenship Before Being Allowed To Vote..

Al Sharpton kicked off the left’s big voter (fraud) rights election year push, last week at a rally in Cincinnati in which prolific Obama voter and felon Melowese Richardson was actually hailed as some kind of returning hero after having just been sprung from jail.

I took the liberty of transcribing some of Sharpton’s speech from the event:

“Let me tell you, I don’t care what you know – if you afraid – it don’t matter. Fear cancels lives. Fear cancels abilities. And the reason some of us have been repressive, is because you afraid. You can’t send scared leaders to (inaudible)….If you scared say dat. It not you got some new strategy… It ain’t like you figgered out something we ain’t figgered out. Just say, “I’m scared, and sit down and shut up and let someone that’s not scared do what needs to be done. If you scared, they aint no one gonna beat you because you too afraid to fight…They intimidated and wuffed you out of the fight.”

I might be missing some context, there, because I have no idea what he was talking about. None.

He went on to explain why their right to vote (fraudulently) is so important:

“If we protect the right to vote, then mama’s Social Security is protected, our children’s education is protected and food stamps is protected, and union laws are protected – this ain’t for them – this is for us!”

Anyway so – you get the idea. It’s an election year and the organized left is mobilizing to get everyone jazzed up about “voter disenfranchisement” and whatnot.

Thing is – they’ve really got a hell of an uphill battle. Public opinion’s definitely not moving in their direction on this.

Via Rasmussen:

A federal judge last week upheld the right of states to require proof of citizenship before allowing someone to register to vote. Voters continue to overwhelmingly support such a requirement.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 78% of Likely U.S. Voters believe everyone should be required to prove his or her citizenship before being allowed to register to vote. That’s up from 71% a year ago. Just 19% oppose that requirement.

Twenty-nine percent (29%) believe laws that require proof of citizenship before allowing voter registration discriminate against such voters. But more than twice as many (61%) say such laws do not discriminate, up three points from 58% who felt that way in March of last year. Ten percent (10%) are undecided.

Recently Sprung From Jail Vote Fraudster Melowese Richardson Given A Hero’s Welcome By Al Sharpton at OH “Voter Rights” Rally

voterrightsdrive6.jpg20140321

There’s no such thing as voter fraud, Democrats like Al Sharpton will tell you — but the ones who get caught doing it are hailed as voting rights heroes — by Democrats like Al Sharpton..

Remember Obama’s most prolific voter, Melowese Richardson? A year ago, she was indicted on eight counts of illegal voting. She was sentenced to five years in prison, but was released earlier this month “after local Democratic activists pressed for a fairer term.” Someone explain to me how that works. “Democrat activists” can spring people from jail, now?

But it gets better — Ms. Richardson got a hero’s welcome from none other than Al Sharpton at a “voter rights” rally at a black church in Cincinnati, Thursday.

Via Cincinnati.com

A Hamilton County poll worker who has been held up nationally as an example of voter fraud took the stage at a local voting rights rally – outraging Republicans and dismaying even top local Democrats.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, keynote speaker at Thursday’s rally to kick-off the campaign for an Ohio Voters’ Bill of Rights Ohio Constitutional amendment, even hugged Melowese Richardson.

***

Richardson was among the more than 400 at Word of Deliverance Church in Forest Park when Cincinnati National Action Network President Bobby Hilton called her on stage for a “welcome home.”

What are they going to do, next? Have her working the polls again? (Eric Holder seen furiously nodding his head in approval.)

The article goes on to note, “even Democrat leaders questioned the idea of applauding Richardson.” Even some Democrats see the problem here. Well I’ll be damned.

“I am very glad the county prosecutor and judge reconsidered and got her out of jail, but she is not a hero,” Hamilton County Democratic Party Chairman Tim Burke, who was at the rally, told the Enquirer. “What she did was criminal conduct and was particularly problematic because of her role as a poll worker.”

Hat tip: Weasel Zippers

Here’s Sharpton’s speech from the “voter rights” event.

Sharpton:

WTF?

Dude. We just want to see some ID before you vote. Daaang.

UPDATE:

J. Christian Adams, Big Government: NO JUSTICE DEPARTMENT CHARGES AGAINST OHIO WOMAN WHO VOTED SIX TIMES FOR OBAMA:

The United States Department of Justice under Eric Holder has done nothing to Melowese Richardson 410 days after she admitted on camera that she committed multiple federal felonies by voting six times for President Obama’s reelection.

Federal law makes it a felony to vote more than once for President.  In fact, 42 U.S.C. Section 1973i(e) subjects Richardson to twenty-five years in federal prison for her six votes for Obama.

The lack of DOJ action against an unrepentant federal vote fraudster combined with Richardson’s lionization by Sharpton and the organization that sponsored the rally demonstrates how the Justice Department is facilitating a culture of brazen criminality on the eve of the 2014 midterm elections.  The failure to indict Richardson is the latest example of Holder’s department excusing lawlessness in federal elections and abandoning law abiding Americans.

Melowese Richardson was charged with state voter fraud crimes in Ohio.  She was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison on July 7, 2013. Unfortunately, instead of serving five years, Richardson was set free after only eight months.

A state court judge dismissed her May 2013 conviction and five-year prison sentence and allowed her to plead no contest to four counts of illegal voting, the same charges for which she was convicted.

Richardson was represented by the George Soros-funded Ohio Justice and Policy Center, which claimed she suffered from bi-polar disorder.  No claim was made that she was insane when she committed her election crimes.  Nor was any effort made to establish her insanity.

New Project Veritas Video: Battleground Texas Illegally Copying Voter Data

In James O’Keefe’s latest sting in Texas, he catches the community organizing group Battleground Texas breaking Texas election law.

As PJ Media’s J Christian Adams explains, “the group registers voters as deputy registrars, illegally copies information from voter registration forms, and then cranks the illegal information into the Wendy Davis campaign for Texas governor.”

Battleground Texas Field Organizer Jennifer Longoria is caught on camera multiple times making statements such as, “So every time we register someone to vote we keep their name and number.” Which is of course – illegal.

” According to the Secretary of State, it is unlawful to transcribe, copy, or otherwise record a telephone number furnished on a voter registration application.”

“Battleground Texas, is the new ACORN”, O’Keefe explains in the video:

Bryan Preston: How the Texas Tribune Will Cover James O’Keefe’s Latest Video:

The Texas Tribune is a non-profit news gathering organization that bills itself as non-partisan. It has come under serious and sustained criticism recently for getting a sweetheart deal to cover a fundraiser and speech by Democrat gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis. The news content it generates is syndicated all over Texas, for free, to local news outlets, which calls into question its non-profit status — it’s not supposed to be in competition with for-profit news organizations.

When it comes to hidden camera video that makes Democrats and their allies look bad, the Tribune consistently handles such videos in a backhanded way.

PJ Media: MOTIVE: Sebelius Pitches Obamacare to Latino … Voter Registration Group:

On Friday, Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius spoke and took questions on Obamacare in an online forum sponsored by Voto Latino. This group primarily exists for the purpose of encouraging Hispanics to register to vote, but it additionally advocates for leftist causes. From their website:

In 10 years and with your support, we have engaged and developed the leadership skills of Latino Millennials; registered nearly a quarter million voters; rallied for immigration reform; ensured our community got counted in the 2010 Census and enrolled in the new healthcare law; and together, we have fought against laws that would make it harder for Latinos to vote.

They are using ObamaCare to encourage likely Democrats to register to vote (possibly illegally) and they are doing it in the open. Disgusting.

CAUGHT ON TAPE: Wendy Davis Supporters, Battleground TX Belittle Greg Abbott For Being Wheelchair Bound (Video)

While investigating Obamacare Navigators, Battleground Texas, and their connection to Obama’s Organizing for America, Project Veritas caught some “deeply offensive comments on tape.”

When I first saw the headline for this, I thought – surely not. Surely they’re exaggerating.

You tell me.

“Greg Abbott (The Attorney General of Texas) is not, he’s really not a sure thing, and he’s really not real electable. First of all he’s not good looking, he doesn’t speak very well, he doesn’t have a good personality, and he’s in a wheelchair.”

They even explore the possibility that he has a personality disorder because he “he has no sympathy for anyone or anyway.” Keep in mind these are supporters of a candidate who lashed out at the affable Abbott because of a news report he had nothing to do with. There’s plenty of fodder for a discussion on  “personality disorders” if you take a good look at Wendy Davis’ checkered past.

No Project Veritas video would be complete without some exposition of left-wing corruption.

But that’s not it. When asked about forging signatures on absentee ballots, Deputy Voter Registrar and attorney Lisa Wortham covered her ears and then went on to admit, “I’ve seen people do that all the time.” Battleground Texas volunteer Celeste Grahm then added, “I don’t think it’s legal but I didn’t hear you say that.”

That’s right. Cheating is the only way these losers can win Texas. That’s why supporting the work groups like True the Vote and Project Veritas do, is so important. They do the work the MSM should be doing –  shining a light on corruption and fraud.

Fox News: Conservative activist O’Keefe claims Cuomo targeting his group:

O’Keefe, whose Project Veritas is behind a series of hidden-camera investigations against left-leaning groups and causes, made the claims on the heels of the controversy over a recent Cuomo interview. In it, Cuomo blasted “extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay” and said they “have no place” in New York. He later walked back his remarks, and said they were being taken out of context in the media.

But O’Keefe claimed that Cuomo’s government is acting on those words, revealing that the Department of Labor has hit his office in Westchester County, N.Y., with demands for financial documents for months. He compared it to IRS targeting of conservative groups nationwide.

“Governor Cuomo’s shocking words this past week aren’t simply words,” O’Keefe said in a statement. “Governor Cuomo and the New York Department of Labor are on a witch hunt, demanding all documents and financials since our founding. … His goal, of course, is to harass us and limit our effectiveness by tying us up in court. Just like President Obama used the IRS to target and suppress conservatives, Governor Cuomo is using his Department of Labor to do the same exact thing.”

COLORADO SPRINGS RECALL ELECTION OF DEMOCRAT JOHN MORSE GETS UNDER WAY WITH EARLY VOTING STARTING

The Colorado  vote to recall two state Democrats who angered voters earlier this year when they helped pass draconian gun control bills, is in full swing with long lines and what elections officials called “surprisingly high turnouts”.

Yesterday marked the first day of voting in the recall election of Democrat State Senator John Morse as more than 3,500 voters from his El Paso County Senate district headed to the polls. Polls in Pueblo Democrat Senator Angela Giron’s recall opened, last week.

The Denver Post reports:

Funded in part by the National Rifle Association and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, whose group Mayors Against Illegal Guns played a pivotal role in the gun legislation that passed in the past session, both sides of the recalls have been furiously working these final days to get supporters to the polls.

If Morse and Giron are recalled, two Republican candidates, Bernie Herpin of El Paso County and George Rivera of Pueblo, will take their place in the state Senate.

Conservative blog, Revealing Politics has been on the ground with cameras everywhere. If there is voter fraud going on in Colorado – they are capturing it.

Just before the end of the first day of early voting in the Colorado recall election of Senate President John Morse, some college age students showed up with 10 ballots in hand, each.

Our team hit the field running for the first day of our “Recall Transparency Project” and although there were lots of highlights (check our feed here) there are a few notable moments:

82% Of Whites, 83% Of Non-Whites Support Voter ID According to Latest Poll

Attention Eric Holder:

Via John Fund,National Review:

Last week, Hillary Clinton used a speech to the American Bar Association to rail against states that are requiring voters show a photo ID before they vote. She called ID requirements part of “the greatest hits of voter suppression,” but she was ignoring evidence that minority turnout has gone up in states with even the toughest ID laws, even in elections where Barack Obama isn’t on the ballot.

Civil-rights activists are often of two minds on voter ID. Last year, when the NAACP hosted Attorney General Eric Holder at its annual convention, one of the requirements to cover his speech was that “all media must present government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver’s license).” Meanwhile, NAACP president Ben Jealous introduced Holder by attacking ID laws.

“We must overwhelm the rising tide of voting suppression,” he said.

Jealous isn’t the first minority leader to say one thing while something else is done right in front of his eyes. North Dakota blooger Rob Port has a hilarious post on how several Native-American tribes require an ID to vote in tribal elections, while vehemently opposing the concept for other contests.

Obama, Holder Meet With Sharpton and Other Race Baiters To Discuss Plan of Attack on States With Voter Integrity Laws

Al Sharpton helped incite anti-Jewish riots in Crown Heights, New York in 1991, was convicted of libel for his role in the racially charged Tawana Brawley hoax, incited black anti-Semites against a Jewish business establishment in Harlem in 1995, and stood with the New Black Panthers at a  Sanford, Florida “Justice For Trayvon” rally, in March of last year. It’s pathetic that the MSM gives this despicable character a microphone to disseminate his toxic racialist views. It’s scandalous that such a miscreant would be invited to the White House.

The “Reverend Al” revealed the details of his meeting on MSNBC, today with host, Thomas Roberts.

Via Mediaite:

Sharpton revealed that the Department of Justice and the White House intend to vigorously enforce the VRA, particularly against states instituting questionable voter ID laws. He added that Texas and North Carolina were two specific states in the DOJ’s crosshairs.

“It was one meeting – it was unprecedented – the attorney general and the president in the Roosevelt Room of the White House,” Sharpton began. “I talked to the attorney general for an hour and the president for 40 minutes.”

Sharpton said that the DOJ will aggressively combat efforts to disenfranchise voters at the state level and that the Supreme Court decision striking down portions of the VRA as unconstitutional does not prohibit the enforcement of most of the provisions in that law.

For sh*ts and giggles read the comments at Mediaite for some excellent examples of the soft racism of low expectations. It’s rilly rilly hard for blacks to get I.D.’s, you know. That’s why voter ID laws disproportionately effect poor, stupid, helpless black people – who also can’t fly, buy liqueur, check out books from the library, open banking accounts, write checks, go to Obama fund-raising events and any number of other things you need IDs for. But nobody is up in arms about that. They only seem to get exercised about voting. The ability to vote for Obama multiple times is a cherished civil right encoded in the Voter Rights Act, apparently.

Uh-uh! Voter fraud virtually never happens! they whimper.

But, of course,  it does.

Last month, the Obama White House hosted a meeting with Sheikh Abdulla bin Bayyah, the Sheikh Who Called for Killing American Troops in Iraq.

The White House has  previously invited a member of the Blind Shiekh’s terrorist organization for consultations at the White House.

Hosting race-baiters of Al Sharpton’s ilk is almost as bad. “The People’s House” is turning into the proverbial  “wretched hive of villainy and scum.”

Exit Question: Why hasn’t Holder been hounded out of office yet? How many scandals does the man have to be embroiled in and how many times does he need to be caught lying to Congress, before Republicans in the House impeach the corrupt S.O.B.?

Video: James O’Keefe Confronts NH Attorney General Richard Head Over Being Indicted For Exposing Voter Fraud

Investigative journalist, James O’Keefe has a new video out today featuring  Richard Head, Associate Attorney General for the state of New Hampshire.

Head tried to indict O’Keefe, last year, for releasing a video that exposed voter fraud in the polling booths in his state. O’Keefe’s video  contributed to a voter ID law passing in the state with a super-majority vote. State Democrats tried to repeal the law in March of this year, but failed.

“I was doing my duty as a journalist to educate the public on issues that matter, while he was trying to stifle free speech,” O’Keefe says in an email touting the new video.

“What was particularly unnerving is the New Hampshire state officials knew where to find me before I had even moved. Was another Department of Justice/AP spying scheme happening?? How did they know where I was? “

In May of 2012, a few months after sending state officials to search the home of a Project Veritas videographer, New Hampshire state authorities arrived at the home of Mike Rogers with a criminal grand jury subpoena for James O’Keefe. How state officials knew the address of where O’Keefe was staying before he even got there is a mystery. We filed a public records request to determine if these authorities were working with the Feds, but they never responded.

Associate Attorney General Richard Head was the man responsible for most of this activity, as well as efforts to indict our reporters after our video showing ballots offered out in the names of the dead at poll locations. Reality prompted the state legislature to pass a voter ID law, overturning Governor Lynch’s veto. Project Veritas also obtained a letter showing how Richard Head was asking for years of my emails from political opponents working with hacker types.

We also asked head to sign the Chapter in the new book Breakthrough documenting all these injustices, entitled, “Richard Head Rises”.

What’s next for our young hero?

O’Keefe left an intriguing hint ant the end of his email: “Coming up, we’ve got a new investigation coming your way that could rock government largesse…Hint: #BuyingVotes.”

Obama Creating Panel to Form Election Guide for States

obama-in-iran-syria-and-north-korea.img_-600x350

While specifics are scarce,  it’s a safe bet that the panel won’t be focused on stopping voter fraud, or making sure that members of the military aren’t disenfranchised. No. It’s focus will be about making voting easier. What can we do about long lines? Should we extend early voting even longer?

The Washington Times reported Thursday that Obama issued a new executive order aimed at cracking down on those types of election problems.

Read between the lines of the group’s mission statement, and it seems the group will be overseeing state election laws, to at least some degree.

Politico reports Mr. Obama’s order creates a new presidential commission on election body, co-chaired by two lawyers, Bob Bauer and Ben Ginsburg. Mr. Bauer served on the campaign of Mr. Obama in 2012; Mr. Ginsberg, on Mitt Romney’s campaign, Politico says.

The Daily Caller reported that nine-seat Presidential Commission will be tasked with recommending changes to states’ election laws by the end of September.

“The Commission shall identify best practices and otherwise make recommendations to promote the efficient administration of elections in order to ensure that all eligible voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots without undue delay, and to improve the experience of voters facing other obstacles,” said Obama’s executive order, issued March 28.

State elections are conducted by states, usually under state laws. However, the federal Congress has the constitutional authority to “any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of choosing Senators.”

Let’s take a look at Robert Bauer, Obama’s lawyer, who will be co-chairing the panel with Ben Ginsburg.
robert_bauer_oped--300x300

* Served as general counsel for Obama for America.

* Unsuccessfully lobbied the Justice Department last fall to pursue a criminal probe of the American Issues Project (AIP), an independent group that sought to run an ad highlighting the Barack Obama and terrorist Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground connection.

* Sought prosecution with the Department of Justice against Harold Simmons for funding the ad.

According to WaPo, Benjamin Ginsberg is the GOP’s go-to guy for electoral recounts.

BenGinsberg

He is best known for his work on the 2000 Florida recount that ended in the U.S. Supreme Court’s Bush v. Gore decision, but he has represented the leadership and campaign political action committees of slews of senators, House members and governors.Ginsberg was the national counsel for Mitt Romney’s 2008 campaign, advised his Free and Strong America PAC and continues to offer counsel for Romney’s 2012 efforts .

I wouldn’t mind a commission set up to  fix our broken election system, but one fears this panel wasn’t set up to do that. Any commission created by this ACORN friendly president has to be looked at with a healthy degree of suspicion.

Video: Allen West Recount Misses Deadline – West’s Supporters Demand Votes Be Counted – Murphy declares victory – Emergency hearing requested

The Palm Beach Post reported that the St. Lucie County canvassing board somehow missed the noon deadline, today to file election results to the Division of Elections, prompting the Murphy Campaign to declare Murphy the winner in the Congressional race for FL Dist 18.

Under Florida law, the final certified results were due from all of the state’s 67 supervisors of elections today. If the results do not arrive on time, the certified unofficial results submitted last Sunday stand. Those results have Murphy winning by 0.58 percent. A spread of less than 0.5 percent would have triggered an automatic recount.

Although results have not been certified, final numbers released by the canvassing board today show West with 52,704 votes in St. Lucie County and Murphy with 65,841. These tallies, added the final results from Martin and Palm Beach counties give Murphy the win with 50.16 percent of the vote to West’s 49.51 – a spread of .65 percent.

“Today at noon, it became clear Patrick Murphy will be officially certified as the next congressman from the 18th Congressional District,” Anthony Kusich, Murphy for Congressman campaign manager, said in a prepared statement issued around 12:40 p.m. “The voters have spoken and Patrick Murphy is once again the clear winner. It is beyond time to put this campaign behind us and put the interests of the people of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches first.”

Said attorney Gerald Richman, a member of Murphy’s legal team: “All Patrick Murphy wanted was to follow the law. They absolutely missed it (deadline). Whatever it is, it is. We just want the law to be followed.”

But Murphy’s lawyers had attempted, yesterday, to get the 19th Circuit Court Judge to disallow the retabulation of early votes agreed to by the St. Lucie County Canvassing Board and West for Congress campaign manager Tim Edson released the following statement:

“In a last-ditch effort to suppress the vote, Murphy’s lawyers submitted sloppy and incomplete papers to the Court this morning to try to strong-arm the judge into preventing today’s retabulation already underway. The Murphy team’s motion is procedurally and substantively lacking. With every action attempted, Murphy demonstrates a complete lack of respect and utter disregard for the voters of St. Lucie County.

Murphy’s efforts bring to mind the dark times in our nation’s history when politicians tried to manipulate the law to suppress the votes, and we are appalled by Murphy’s apparent contempt for the voting rights of citizens to have their ballots accurately and fairly tabulated.

Murphy knows there are votes that have not been counted, but he’s taking legal action to ensure the results are certified anyway. Perhaps the Justice Department should investigate Murphy’s attempt to steal himself a seat in Congress at the expense of the voters in St. Lucie County.”

After today’s missed deadline, the Palm Beach Post reportsed that Tim Edson wants the  Secretary of State Ken Detzner and Gov. Rick Scott to sort out the mess.

Edson said other problems arose this morning. The recount showed 900 voters cast ballots in precinct 93, where there are 7 registered voters, Edson said.

In a prepared statement released around 2 p.m. this afternoon, Edson said: “Today’s actions cast an even greater cloud of suspicion over the results of St. Lucie County than existed before. Consequently, the highly suspect results will be submitted to the Secretary of State today — even though the canvassing board has already admitted they may contain serious errors.

West supporters, upon learning that the deadline was missed, have crowded into the ballot-counting area shouting “Count our vote!” Others have made public comments to elections officials, blaming them for ending the recount last night at 10 p.m. because the security system in the vacant shopping mall where the ballots are being counted would be triggered if the counting continued.

Two of the three members of the canvassing board, County Judge Kathryn Nelson and Marc Traum, and County Attorney Heather Young have been sitting at a table in front of the agitated crowd, allowing those gathered to make their comments but saying nothing in response.

Video: Rampant Voter Fraud Witnessed by Poll Watcher in VA

BFH: How Obama Won

Dara Fox, a poll watcher for Project ORCA, contacted WMAL about the  voter fraud she witnessed  in Woodbridge, VA during the election. She gave an eye-witness account of  cases where people didn’t know their name and address, ages didn’t match up,  people with ethnic names didn’t look ethnic, etc.  She said she personally observed 30-40 cases of people voting whose names had already been checked off – they had already voted once. Dara was under the impression that people were being bussed in, and were possibly being paid to vote.

“They had a really terrific ground game,” the losing side cheerfully acknowledged.

This isn’t sour grapes. The evidence just keeps stacking up…Voter fraud could very easily have put him over the edge and nobody’s doing a damn thing about it.

Voter Fraud Alert!: Obama Supporter in NC Brags on Facebook About Voting Multiple Times To Save Country From Romney

Via The Barracuda Brigade:

How easy is it to commit voter fraud in this country?

Let Jim Turner of Chapel Hill, NC count the ways:

That “bold” post has since been deleted – due to a right wing conspiracy that sees our national glass as “half empty”, or perhaps more likely by someone in a cold sweat about being caught stupidly bragging about committing a felony on Facebook.

Yeah, you made a bold comment, alright Jim.

And this post from Sept 24 has ominous implications:

Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day and I will be part of a group to provide help at Town Hall in Pine Knoll Shores, NC from 10:00 until 4:00. If you will be 18 by election day you MUST register to vote. Have you moved? Have you married? Changed you name?? If any of these apply you need to REGISTER TO VOTE.

It’s very disturbing that an admitted repeat voter would be in charge of voter registration.

Spread the word – this man needs to be made famous. As you can imagine, he represents but the tip of the iceberg. This can not stand. This criminal and others like him can not be allowed to cancel out all of our votes. Mitt Romney is winning NC. But Jim Turner and people like him want to deliver his state to their Messiah via voter fraud.

UPDATE:

Apparently, his daughter is trying to claim that the post was a “joke”.

When have we heard that before? Oh, I know – every time a Democrat’s been caught engaging in shockingly corrupt behavior.

Go back and reread the post and see if you can find the punchline – ’cause I’m not seeing it.

UPDATE II:

A commenter at the Time for Choosing blog has verified that a James Turner has voted in two of the locations he mentioned in the post:

I downloaded North Carolina’s early voting and absentee voting data from their online site on the 23rd of October. It does show a James Turner voting from Beaufort and Henderson, both white males, 67 years old. This may or may not be the same person, but it does seem to support what he wrote on twitter.

The problem is that even if he didn’t do this, the post he made encourages others to do so. The idea that someone in a position responsible for upholding election integrity encouraging others, jokingly or not, to commit voter fraud and claiming it is about “the American spirit” has no real idea about what the American spirit is about. It has nothing to do with disenfranchising other voters by negating their legal votes with fraudulent ones, it has nothing to do with cheating to get your way and to win at all costs. Encouraging others, or committing the fraud yourself because you think you’re more right than another person who voted differently, is still fraud, regardless of how you try to wrap yourself in up in the flag afterwards.

Another commenter wrote:

I emailed a fraud incident (not voter fraud, a polling place thing) to my county’s GOP here in NC, and within 2 hours a Romney attorney was at my house taking a statement.

They’re taking this stuff seriously – someone in NC should report him to the county GOP (there’s probably a contact on their website) and the State Board of Elections.

By the time the attorney came to my house, there had been 6 statewide alerts from different organizations with my email in it, so there ARE people doing things.

Now What? A Group in CO is Paying People $20 Per Obama Vote?

Egad. It never ends.

This  Facebook post discovered by a conservative activist from Colorado is so outrageous it seems like an Onion piece.

Via Yid With Lid:

“OBAMA WINS COLORAO! Just rented an Enterprise van for Election Day! Going to pick up any voters pledged to Obama. I already have 53 pledged for the ride. I’ve also budgeted $1500 to distribute as $20 incentives to each rider. You can help by donating to the voting incentive militia. Just ask me how! Also we are holding an informational meeting on “how to vote twice” and “how to vote without citizenship” this Thursday at 5pm.”

It’s a joke right? Surely?

When it was then suggested, on the thread, that the post be reported to the authorities to investigate, the evidence started to ‘disappear.’ That’s when I thought it would be worth reporting, just to be safe. My concerns were validated five hours later when the Project Veritas story was released. It’s been twenty-four hours since the discovery of the “$20 Voter Incentive Militia,” and the Facebook page where it originated has been deleted.

I am aware of at least four other current concerns around potential voter fraud (likely more) in the swing state of Colorado. Franklin Center’s Watchdog.org has reported on twenty-four voter-fraud stories in recent months. The allegations coming from the left that voter fraud is a conspiracy theory perpetuated by “shock jocks” is clearly false and, in my opinion, a failed attempt to discredit the urgent need for stronger voter ID laws, now.

This situation in needs to be looked into further – I wouldn’t put anything past the corruptocrats, especially this year since chances of Obama winning the election grow slimmer by the day.

We’re already seeing a distressing amount of voter and election irregularities  going on this year. It looks like the Dems are definitely going to try to cling to power in any way they can.
