Greta Van Susteren: Will Midterms Be Plagued By Historic Levels Of Voter Fraud?

It’s my biggest fear less than a week out from the midterm elections. You know what they say – Republicans have to have a commanding  lead –  outside the margin of voter fraud – to win elections. Obama’s been importing millions of illegal immigrants, while his wing-man Holder has been suing states for passing voter integrity laws. No matter how good things look for Republicans, the fraud could surpass the margin of difference in places like Colorado, and North Carolina.

“Awesome!: CO Lib Activists Funded By Dem Super PAC Encourage Voter Fraud

No surprises here. Any Democrat who tells you actual voter fraud is rare – is either a lo-info drone, or lying to your face. Democrats and voter fraud go together like peaches and cream and have since the days of Tammany Hall.

John Fund reported on the latest Project Veritas investigation at National Review:

Many liberals are adamant there is no threat of voter fraud that justifies efforts to improve the integrity of elections. “There is no real concrete evidence of voter fraud,” tweeted Donna Brazile, former acting chair of the Democratic National Committee, this week. “It’s a big ass lie.”

James O’Keefe, the guerilla filmmaker who brought down the ACORN voter-registration fraudsters in 2010 and forced the resignation of NPR executives, politely disagrees. Today, he is releasing some new undercover footage that raises disturbing questions about ballot integrity in Colorado, the site of fiercely contested races for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House, and the governorship. When he raised the issue of filling out some of the unused ballots that are mailed to every household in the state this month, he was told by Meredith Hicks, the director of Work for Progress, a liberal group funded by Democratic Super PACS.: “That is not even like lying or something, if someone throws out a ballot, like if you want to fill it out you should do it.” She then brazenly offered O’Keefe, disguised as a middle-aged college instructor, a job with her group.

Lefties, are of course wailing and gnashing their teeth over this latest O’Keefe sting. Mother Jones lowlife David Corn is trying to discredit the results on Twitter, but does have  a point about one thing.

Apparently, O’Keefe tried the same shtick with some Dem staffers but was rebuffed. Mother Jones had a write-up about that a couple of days ago in preparation for the release of the sting video. One of the staffers even took a picture of O’Keefe in his fake mustache allowing people to have a sneak peek.

It’s not surprising that Democrat staffers are not so careless that they would allow themselves to get caught on video supporting voter fraud. They let their community organizers handle that part of the criminal enterprise. It is a little surprising and disappointing that that fact wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the O’Keefe’s video.

This excuse doesn’t really cut it:

The video is not yet up on the Project Veritas website. Hopefully the write-up there will have the whole story.

Vote R in the Midterms – Don’t Stay Home, Don’t Vote Independent or Libertarian

Everyone who wants to see Harry Reid dethroned in two weeks, raise your hand.

Republicans are expected to take the Senate, but the elections are far from decided. Some of the races are too close for comfort, because Democrats know how to “find” votes when they need them. The truth is, the conservative base needs to come out in massive numbers – no staying home and sulking because the establishment this or the establishment that. No “protest” ( throwaway) vote for a third party. The only way to save the country – or at least slow down its demise is to crush the Democrats in numbers.

An animated Ann Coulter came out of her “bat cave” to appear on Hannity, Tuesday,  to talk about why it’s so important for Conservatives to vote  R in two weeks. And I’m posting the video because I agree with her message 100%.

I know the Republican establishment can be somewhat *disappointing* at times, but don’t even think about voting third party, people. As Coulter notes, we need to have 53-54 seats to provide some padding for 2016, when we’re expected to lose a few. If ObamaCare is ever to be overturned, the Senate has to be in Republican hands when Obama leaves office.

But first, Sean wanted to talk about the nothingburger “has-been intern” Monica Lewinsky story, which Coulter impatiently pushed aside. “At one point I felt sorry for her, but this is getting to be like some aging celebrity’s farewell tour,” she quipped.

Also important – a new Citizens United documentary featuring Michelle Malkin reveals how far left, big moneyed interests poured into Colorado and turned it from red to blue. The same tactics are being used in Texas, and several other states, Malkin says, visibly  disgusted by the rank hypocrisy displayed by  the left as it rails against right leaning donors like the Koch Brothers.

Malkin appeared on the Kelly File to talk about the film, Rocky Mountain Heist:

Here’s a report CNN did on Alison Lundergan Grimes’ embarrassing family business. It’s apropos because she’s staked out positions on the minimum wage and feminism which Hugh Jass – the family business she has worked for – has a mortifyingly bad record on.

Via Truth Revolt: CNN Reports On Alison Grimes’ Hugh Jass Hypocrisy Awkward Family Promos:

“I’m fighting for all Kentuckians, all working Americans across this nation. I don’t believe $7.25 an hour raises a family of four above the poverty level,” says Grimes. However,CNN reports that “her family’s burger joint pays some tipped staffers minimum wage.” It’s a point that Grimes was happy to dodge.

“My family is not in this race. I’m on the ballot. And as much as Mitch McConnell wants to attack my family, he has from the beginning, I’m going to stay focused on the issues. And for me, it’s about making sure that hard working Kentuckians have a bright future. And that future includes having not just a minimum wage, but a living wage.”

Powerline: THE DEMOCRATS GO BACK TO THEIR RACIST ROOTS [UPDATED]

Faced with major electoral losses this year, the Democratic Party is pulling out all the stops. For them, that means descending, again, into racism. As Glenn Reynolds says:

Democrats used to use racial fearmongering to get white voters to turn out. Now they use racial fearmongering to get black voters to turn out. Not much else has changed….

The Democratic Party is trying to use the shooting of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri to stimulate black turnout. There is zero reason to believe that the Brown incident had anything to do with race. Is there any evidence that Wilson, if attacked by a 6′ 4″, 292 pound white man, would not have shot him? No. Wilson may or may not have overreacted; we may never know for sure. But connecting the incident to race is sheer political opportunism by the Democrats.

The Daily Caller: Does This Video Show A Hispanic Activist Openly Committing Vote Fraud?

YouTube-screenshots-American-DailyIndy

A Republican party official in the largest county in Arizona says surveillance tape shows a progressive Hispanic activist blatantly and openly engaging in vote fraud.

The surveillance video below was recorded on Aug. 25 during this year’s primary election cycle at a central Maricopa County elections processing facility on the edge of downtown Phoenix.

A. J. LaFaro, Chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Committee obtained the video. He was watching the polls that day during the early-voting period voting for the Aug. 26 primary.

“The team processing the early ballots through the optical scanning equipment had gotten way ahead of the ‘upstream’ citizen boards preparing the early ballot batches for processing,” the Republican party official said, according to the Arizona Daily Independent.

While the information systems coordinator was on a long lunch break, he explained, he was “seated at one of the cubicles looking toward the reception area that is now behind bullet proof glass because of the violence and protesting that occurred by militant groups during the November 2012 general election.”

If Democrats win any seats in two weeks, it will be through using tactics like these.

Cruz Calls For Investigation of MS Runoff: “It Would Be Abominable If Repubs Were Involved In Voter Fraud”

“What happened in Mississippi was appalling,” said Senator Ted Cruz on the Mark Levin Radio Show Monday evening. “Primaries are always rough and tumble but the conduct of the Washington DC machine in the Mississippi run-off machine was incredibly disappointing.”

“In that race,” he continued, “we know some things – and then there are even more serious allegations that have been raised. What we know at the outset, is that Chris McDaniel won a sizable majority of the votes from Republicans in the runoff. But the DC machine spent hundreds of millions of dollars urging some 30,000 to 40,000 partisan Democrats to vote in the runoff and they changed the outcome.”

Cruz made sure to note that “all of us want to grow the party,” adding, “but what the DC machine did was not to grow the party – the ads they ran were racially charged false attacks and they were explicit promises to continue to expand the welfare state. And nobody has suggested that the Democrats who voted in the primary will actually vote Republican in the general election. Instead, they were just recruited to decide who the Republican nominee was.”

As unprincipled and wrong as that was, more troubling are the serious allegations of voter fraud, Cruz continued. “And I very much hope that no Republican was involved with voter fraud.”

He said, “these allegations need to be vigorously investigated and anyone involved in criminal conduct should be prosecuted. The voters of Mississippi deserve to know the truth.”

After the break, Cruz repeated his call for an investigation and his hope that no Republicans were involved in it. “I think it would be abominable if Republicans were involved in voter fraud,” he concluded.

Let me tell you something. The Stupid Party better wise up real fast, because what happened in Mississippi was so nasty, so corrupt, and rotten, it could seriously derail their chances of retaking the Senate.

I have the same sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that I had when Todd Akin irredeemably botched an abortion question during the 2012 election season.  The Democrat party was having some success with their manufactured Republican War on Women narrative and Akin walked right into a mine field with his “legitimate rape” comment. He needed to step down and let another Republican take his place in the wake of the firestorm. But he refused. And he lost. I knew he would lose.  Missouri was sentenced to another six years of Claire McCaskill – a tragic outcome could have been avoided.

The GOP establishment seems to have no idea how disgusted and enraged the conservative base is about their corrupt  tactics in the Mississippi runoff. If they were smart, they would ask Cochran to step down and let the younger, sharper, and more popular Republican Chris McDaniel take his place.

All would be forgotten. (Of course, if any laws were broken, those involved would need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.) But if Cochran is the candidate , he cannot be considered a sure thing in the general – in fact, my gut is telling me he’ll lose. And frankly, he deserves to.

And that makes retaking the Senate all the more difficult.

Republicans may have succeeded in making themselves their own worst enemy in the Fall by refusing to yield any ground at all to any already weary base.

“This infighting has taken its toll,” said Amy Walter, a national political analyst for the nonpartisan Cook Political Report. Republicans “are not as enthusiastic as they were in 2010. Even they are a little bit disillusioned by what’s been happening over the last couple years.”

That also means Republican candidates are not getting the benefit of the doubt among independent voters as they did in 2010, Walter added.

Did The Cochran Campaign Buy Black Votes? Because That Would Be Illegal / Updated

It’s incomprehensible to me that the Republican establishment felt like it was necessary to go all out in that Mississippi primary, last week.  76 year old Thad Cochran is a Senator so out of touch, he didn’t know about House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s primary loss until three days later.  The reverberations of this mess are still being felt and stench of corruption has not dissipated.

What Majority Leader Mitch McConnell recently called “a nice family fight in some of our primaries”  has caused a huge rift between the establishment and the grassroots. And the grassroots are not in the mood to kiss and make up.

Was Thad Cochran’s victory worth having a Republican explicitly running on the glory of earmarks and the value of large federal spending projects in the state? Why not just hold up a giant flashing neon sign saying “WE DON’T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT”?

Was it worth running radio ads declaring, “By not voting, you’re saying, ‘Take away all of my government programs, such as food stamps, early breakfast and lunch programs, millions of dollars to our black universities”?

Was Cochran’s victory worth a flyer like this one, contending that the Tea Party is racist?

No. I daresay it was not. There’s a difference between hardball tactics and sleezeball tactics. I generally associate sleezeball, Alinskyesque, ends-justify-the-means tactics with the left – not the party I support and for whom I fight. Shame on the GOP for being a party to this. I am seriously displeased.

But it gets worse.

Aaron Gardner of Red State and Charles Johnson of Got News have evidence that point to the Cochran campaign buying votes – which is illegal.

Redstate: BREAKING: New Allegations Point to Cochran Campaign in Mississippi Senate Vote Buying Scandal:

An audio interview has surfaced in which the interviewee claims that he was to be paid by the Cochran camp to grease voters in the Mississippi GOP Senate runoff election. The audio interview, which coincides with a separate audio recording and batch of evidence produced by the newly launched GotNews.com, a project by Charles C. Johnson, alleges that the Cochran campaign conspired with a Mississippi Reverend to buy the votes of African American voters, who happen to be democrats.

Before I get into the weeds of what is in the audio interview and transcript, which are both below, let me set up the stage a bit. What is alleged to have occurred is illegal and very serious business. Under Mississippi law the alleged crimes could lead to Thad Cochran being removed from the Senate. Everything that follows comes from sources either on the ground in Mississippi, or those working closely with them.

Reverend Fielder has claimed to have evidence that would prove illegal activity took place in the Mississippi GOP Senate run off election. Furthermore, the evidence he claims he has would implicate the Barbour machine and a staffer to Cochran’s Senate campaign. The motivations of the Reverend are not those of a saint. As is made clear throughout the interview and in the transcript, this Reverend is looking to get paid to provide information, just as he sought to get paid to deliver votes by illegal means. Reverend Fielder claims that Cochran’s people were supposed to pay him approximately $15,000 for his efforts, but failed to do so after the incumbent Senator had achieved victory in the run off.

With all of that said, if the evidence is produced and validated, I don’t know how much longer Thad Cochran will be a Senator.

Aaron Gardner and Charles Johnson talked with Thomas LaDuke of FTR Radio about the Illegal Vote Buying scheme.

Audio here.

This “family fight” isn’t over, yet – there will be a reckoning. As John Boehner would say, it’s not a matter of who loses their jobs. Who’s going to jail?

Red State: #MSSen FEC Now Looking Into Pro Cochran SuperPAC:

From Roll Call, the defecation has begun to hit the rotary wind device:

I will note here that the local news reported tonight that deputies of the Hinds County Sheriff Department were outside of the GOP Headquarters as leaders discussed the allegations of fraud.

In addition, State Senator Michael Watson tells WJTV News Channel 12 that the McDaniel camp has found 3,300 “irregular votes” from last Tuesday’s election.

A spirited discussion on Hannity with NY Civil Rights leader Michael Myers and radio talk show  host Dennis Prager:

TRUE THE VOTE FILES SUIT AGAINST MISSISSIPPI, STATE REPUBLICAN PARTY:

REQUESTS IMMEDIATE ACCESS TO ELECTION RECORDS AHEAD OF CERTIFICATION DEADLINE

OXFORD, MS. — July 1, 2014:
True the Vote (TTV), the nation’s leading voters’ rights and election integrity organization, today filed suit in federal court against the Mississippi Secretary of State and the State Republican Party, asking the Court to immediately order that election records be shared to inspect for illegal votes ahead of certification for the June 24 U.S. Senate Primary Runoff Election (True the Vote, et. al v. State of Mississippi, et. al. (3:14cv144-MPM-SAA)).

True the Vote and associated plaintiffs argue that the defendants failed to properly abide by federal election record maintenance and open records provisions codified in the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA). Records made partially available to the plaintiffs indicated “double-voting” from Democratic to Republican primaries — potentially diluting votes in violation of the Equal Protection Clause.

“All we are asking is that the MS State Republican Party follow the law; allow their designated county representatives to inspect the poll books and ballots, give them the review time they are permitted by law, and allow them to uphold their responsibility to MS voters,” True the Vote President Catherine Engelbrecht said. “True the Vote has been inundated with reports from voters across Mississippi who are outraged to see the integrity of this election being undermined so that politicos can get back to business as usual. Enough is enough.”

“This isn’t about personality, party, or politics. Senators come and go,” Engelbrecht continued. “What must withstand the test of time is the integrity of the process by which we elect our representatives and establish our government. No candidate or party should ever be allowed to twist election laws or subvert voters’ rights in the interest of political ambition.”

True the Vote has closely followed developments surrounding the Mississippi Republican Primary Runoff from the beginning. On June 21, TTV released figures demonstrating unusual voter turnout patterns based on historic data. On June 25, the organization formally requestedthat MS Republican Party Chairman Joe Nosef delay certification of the election and share voting records for independent review. Finding no assistance from the state party, TTV and the collected 13 plaintiffs were left no option but to pursue the matter in federal court.

True the Vote’s lawsuit consists of three counts:

Count One:Violation of NVRA’s Public Disclosure Provision. Shortly before the Republican Primary Runoff Election, True the Vote, via its volunteer base, made a valid and timely request to review voter rolls and poll books under the NVRA, but it was denied access to those records.

Count Two:Individual Plaintiffs Allege a Violation of NVRA Based on Conflict with State Laws.Plaintiffs seek a declaration that the NVRA preempts any state requirement calling for public election information to be redacted at the cost of the requestor.

Count Three:Individual Plaintiffs Allege an Equal Protection Violation. Discovering potential instances of “double-voting” between Democratic and Republican primaries are unlawful dilutions of individual votes.

True the Vote engaged legal representation with the firm of Beirne, Maynard & Parsons L.L.P. TTV’s complaint was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, Oxford Division.

A copy of the complaint has been made available here.

True the Vote (TTV) is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) voters’ rights organization, founded to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral process. TTV empowers organizations and individuals across the nation to actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation. Poll: 78% Favor Requiring Proof of Citizenship Before Being Allowed To Vote..

Al Sharpton kicked off the left’s big voter (fraud) rights election year push, last week at a rally in Cincinnati in which prolific Obama voter and felon Melowese Richardson was actually hailed as some kind of returning hero after having just been sprung from jail.

I took the liberty of transcribing some of Sharpton’s speech from the event:

“Let me tell you, I don’t care what you know – if you afraid – it don’t matter. Fear cancels lives. Fear cancels abilities. And the reason some of us have been repressive, is because you afraid. You can’t send scared leaders to (inaudible)….If you scared say dat. It not you got some new strategy… It ain’t like you figgered out something we ain’t figgered out. Just say, “I’m scared, and sit down and shut up and let someone that’s not scared do what needs to be done. If you scared, they aint no one gonna beat you because you too afraid to fight…They intimidated and wuffed you out of the fight.”

I might be missing some context, there, because I have no idea what he was talking about. None.

He went on to explain why their right to vote (fraudulently) is so important:

“If we protect the right to vote, then mama’s Social Security is protected, our children’s education is protected and food stamps is protected, and union laws are protected – this ain’t for them – this is for us!”

Anyway so – you get the idea. It’s an election year and the organized left is mobilizing to get everyone jazzed up about “voter disenfranchisement” and whatnot.

Thing is – they’ve really got a hell of an uphill battle. Public opinion’s definitely not moving in their direction on this.

Via Rasmussen:

A federal judge last week upheld the right of states to require proof of citizenship before allowing someone to register to vote. Voters continue to overwhelmingly support such a requirement.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 78% of Likely U.S. Voters believe everyone should be required to prove his or her citizenship before being allowed to register to vote. That’s up from 71% a year ago. Just 19% oppose that requirement.

Twenty-nine percent (29%) believe laws that require proof of citizenship before allowing voter registration discriminate against such voters. But more than twice as many (61%) say such laws do not discriminate, up three points from 58% who felt that way in March of last year. Ten percent (10%) are undecided.

Recently Sprung From Jail Vote Fraudster Melowese Richardson Given A Hero’s Welcome By Al Sharpton at OH “Voter Rights” Rally

voterrightsdrive6.jpg20140321

There’s no such thing as voter fraud, Democrats like Al Sharpton will tell you — but the ones who get caught doing it are hailed as voting rights heroes — by Democrats like Al Sharpton..

Remember Obama’s most prolific voter, Melowese Richardson? A year ago, she was indicted on eight counts of illegal voting. She was sentenced to five years in prison, but was released earlier this month “after local Democratic activists pressed for a fairer term.” Someone explain to me how that works. “Democrat activists” can spring people from jail, now?

But it gets better — Ms. Richardson got a hero’s welcome from none other than Al Sharpton at a “voter rights” rally at a black church in Cincinnati, Thursday.

Via Cincinnati.com

A Hamilton County poll worker who has been held up nationally as an example of voter fraud took the stage at a local voting rights rally – outraging Republicans and dismaying even top local Democrats.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, keynote speaker at Thursday’s rally to kick-off the campaign for an Ohio Voters’ Bill of Rights Ohio Constitutional amendment, even hugged Melowese Richardson.

***

Richardson was among the more than 400 at Word of Deliverance Church in Forest Park when Cincinnati National Action Network President Bobby Hilton called her on stage for a “welcome home.”

What are they going to do, next? Have her working the polls again? (Eric Holder seen furiously nodding his head in approval.)

The article goes on to note, “even Democrat leaders questioned the idea of applauding Richardson.” Even some Democrats see the problem here. Well I’ll be damned.

“I am very glad the county prosecutor and judge reconsidered and got her out of jail, but she is not a hero,” Hamilton County Democratic Party Chairman Tim Burke, who was at the rally, told the Enquirer. “What she did was criminal conduct and was particularly problematic because of her role as a poll worker.”

Hat tip: Weasel Zippers

Here’s Sharpton’s speech from the “voter rights” event.

Sharpton:

WTF?

Dude. We just want to see some ID before you vote. Daaang.

UPDATE:

J. Christian Adams, Big Government: NO JUSTICE DEPARTMENT CHARGES AGAINST OHIO WOMAN WHO VOTED SIX TIMES FOR OBAMA:

The United States Department of Justice under Eric Holder has done nothing to Melowese Richardson 410 days after she admitted on camera that she committed multiple federal felonies by voting six times for President Obama’s reelection.

Federal law makes it a felony to vote more than once for President.  In fact, 42 U.S.C. Section 1973i(e) subjects Richardson to twenty-five years in federal prison for her six votes for Obama.

The lack of DOJ action against an unrepentant federal vote fraudster combined with Richardson’s lionization by Sharpton and the organization that sponsored the rally demonstrates how the Justice Department is facilitating a culture of brazen criminality on the eve of the 2014 midterm elections.  The failure to indict Richardson is the latest example of Holder’s department excusing lawlessness in federal elections and abandoning law abiding Americans.

Melowese Richardson was charged with state voter fraud crimes in Ohio.  She was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison on July 7, 2013. Unfortunately, instead of serving five years, Richardson was set free after only eight months.

A state court judge dismissed her May 2013 conviction and five-year prison sentence and allowed her to plead no contest to four counts of illegal voting, the same charges for which she was convicted.

Richardson was represented by the George Soros-funded Ohio Justice and Policy Center, which claimed she suffered from bi-polar disorder.  No claim was made that she was insane when she committed her election crimes.  Nor was any effort made to establish her insanity.
