Ahmadinejad Promises to Supply Terrorists With Nukes

Memri has posted a special report by Y. Mansharof and A. Savyon entitled, An Escalation In The Positions Of Iranian President Ahmadinejad, taken from several recent speeches in which he outlined Iran’s nuclear policy and his vision of the relationship between Iran and the West.

In his speeches, Ahmadinejad repeats much of the now familiar delusions about the “hidden Imam”:

In his speech at the annual conference on the doctrine of Mahdism, held in Tehran on August 25-26, Ahmadinejad stated that Western dominance has come to an end, and called upon the nations of the world to rebel “against the oppressive imperialist powers” in preparation for the coming of the Hidden Imam:

“Today’s imperialist forceIn his August 28, 2007 press conference, the Iranian president said: “[The Zionists] have no religion, for religion means having faith in others and maintaining friendly [relations] with [other] nations. But everywhere they exist there is war. They are responsible for a lot of the injustice in the world. The Zionists are a minority which numbers no more than a few tens of thousands, but they have formed clandestine organizations, because they do not want peace and friendship to prevail among the nations… They thrive on war and hatred. If peace [ever] prevails in the world, the people of the world will eradicate Zionism. If the [European] s give humanity nothing by forcing wars [upon it], plundering its resources, violating [human] rights, issuing threats, trampling human dignity and [spreading] corruption, vice and insecurity… The oppressors and tyrants are responsible for all the difficulties and problems currently faced by the nations, and the only way to establish justice is through popular uprising and determined resistance in the face of these oppressors… “

He sounds like your average lefty, here, but then veers off into even more crazy:

Most concern”[The day] of these aggressors… who are oppressing and controlling the nations, is now coming to an end. Those who [seek to] distract the people with a materialistic philosophy of one kind or another, and who pursue materialism, have brought humanity nothing but despair and deception… The time of the righteous rulers will come, and the most righteous [of rulers, [i.e., the Hidden Imam], will form a government and thereby instate the monotheism of Abraham [throughout the world]. That day is not far away…”

He also delves into the familiar rabid anti-semitism:

In his August 28, 2007 press conference, the Iranian presidentsaid: “[The Zionists] have no religion, for religion means having faith in others and maintaining friendly [relations] with [other] nations. If the [European] nations could act [freely], they would have thrown them out of Europe.”(22)

Here’s the most concerning part:

On several occasions, Ahmadinejad stressed that Iran would continue developing its nuclear program regardless of the sanctions. He noted that the sanctions were having no impact on progress in “the irreversible path of the nuclearization of the Iranian nation”(3) and denied Western reports of a slowdown in Iran’s nuclear enrichment. Ahmadinejad further promised to place Iran’s nuclear technology “at the service of those who are determined to confront the bullying powers and aggressors [i.e., the Western countries, headed by the U.S.]...”(4) In a recent conference of Revolutionary Guards commanders, he also stated that “some violent powers [i.e., the West, headed by the U.S.] are now officially declaring that they want to cooperate with the Iranian nation, and that they acknowledge Iran’s [status] as a regional power. However, they must know that Iran is a global power.”(5) (emphasis mine).

In other words, he has vowed to supply terrorists with nukes.

It’s good that we now have an ally in France, but I’m thinking that when it comes to Iran, the time for tough talk, and sanctions may be quickly coming to an end.

UPDATE:

Iran is threatening to fire long-range missiles on US targets in the Middle East.

War may be is inevitable.

Bmac’s Dog Needs Your Help

Bmac’s pooch, Kramer, has cancer of the lymph nodes.

He was first diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago, and Mr. and Mrs. Bmac opted for the chemo treatments for $3,000. That bought Kramer an amazing 30 more months. But now, the cancer has come out of remission and he needs chemotherapy, again.

Mr. and Mrs. Bmac are tapped out at the moment. He’s running a new business, and although it’s not in the red, it’s not making the big bucks, yet either.

Be patient, bmac, we went through the same thing with my husband’s business, when it was first launched, and we had four kids and one on the way at the time. We had to live off savings for awhile, and sell some property. The business ended up being successful, and continues to grow.

Anyhoo, if anyone would like to help out The bmacs, he’s set up a page on Fundable.org for donations. The goal is $2,500. So far $650 has been secured. The deadline is 10/09.

Please help the bmac’s buy some more time with their beloved pet.

UPDATE (9/20):

The amount secured has jumped to $940.

Please consider donating a few bucks, if you haven’t already.

UPDATE (9/26):

The amount secured is now $1510.

$990 to go.

Latest Minneapolis Tourist Attraction

Since Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes, you might guess that it’s latest hot spot is water related.

Well, you’d be right…..sort of.

Apparently tourists have been flocking to the Minneapolis Airport bathroom stall made famous by the toe tapping Senator, Larry Craig.

“It’s become a tourist attraction,” said Karen Evans, information specialist at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. “People are taking pictures.”

The ‘Information Specialist’ was only 15 minutes into her shift and had been asked directions to the infamous bathroom stall, four times.

The Royal Zino Shoeshine shop owner’s grandson, Royal Zino, said it has been hectic.“People have been going inside, taking pictures of the stall, taking pictures outside the bathroom door — man, it’s been crazy,” he said.

A couple on their way to Guatemala made the pilgrimage:

“We had to just stop and check out the bathroom,” Sally said. “In fact, it’s Jon’s second time — he was here last week already.”

That’s right, people are making return visits.
