Adam Gadahn May Very Well Be Dead
Three separate sources have told Dr. Rusty Shackleford of The Jawa Report, that Gadahn is either missing or dead. Apparently there were too many body parts after that last Predator strike, to make a positive identification.
Rusty says:
If I were a betting man I’d put a couple hundred bucks on Gadahn being dead, but certainly wouldn’t bet the farm on it.

Ahmadinejad: Iran Number One World Power
This is the guy that Obama wants to hold talks with:
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared on Thursday that Iran was the world’s “number one” power, as he launched a bitter new assault on domestic critics he accused of siding with the enemy. “Everybody has understood that Iran is the number one power in the world,” Ahmadinejad said in a speech to families who lost loved ones in the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
Then he delicately added:
“Today the name of Iran means a firm punch in the teeth of the powerful and it puts them in their place”.
Alrighty then!
According to Obama, it’s “a disgrace” that we “have not spoken” to this man. How does he expect to negotiate (and with no precondition!) with this delusional wacko, I ask you?

I don’t know, Ahmadinejad. I may be a little slow, but I’m just not convinced your country is #1. Perhaps we should just duke it out… US vs Iran, Mano y mano. I’ll tell you what…we’ll fight for one week, using any weapons we have in our arsenal and see who wins. I personally believe we could turn your whole country to glass in a matter of minutes, but what the heck do I know, I still have my sanity!
Then again, I suppose the responsible thing to do is lend credibility to a rogue state by holding talks with its dangerously delusional leader.
Obama Team Claims They’re Winning The Religious Vote
This is from CBN News. And it’s bad news for John McCain:
The Brody File has received a document from Barack Obama’s religious outreach team showing statistics that they say prove Obama is a hit with religious voters.
The document rattles off exit poll numbers state by state suggesting that he has a “broad appeal whether voters attend church weekly or occasionally” and he, “appeals to people across faith and belief lines: Christian and Jewish; Protestant and Catholic.”

There is an antidote for this. It’s called information. Information these church going folks may not know…… like for instance, Obama’s extreme and grotesque voting record on abortion.
McCain needs to hit Obama with this, and hit him hard. McCain has nothing to be ashamed of, here:

I wonder what most Evangelicals will think of that when they hear it?
I think this may be a case of the voting public not yet knowing everything they need to know about the candidate. That’s why McCain will have to at some point start educating people with some hard hitting campaign ads.
I don’t care what the pollsters say…he’s going to have to go negative.

There continues to be much buzz about Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin being a potential nominee for Vice President on the Republican ticket. There’s even a Draft Sarah Palin For VP website. So who is this Sarah Palin?
Rush calls her, “Alaska’s Babe Governor”.
The American Spectator calls her “one of conservatism’s own:
She’s young being only 44 (two years behind Senator Obama), she is wildly known to despise government corruption. She defeated a horribly entrenched and corrupt Republican political machine in Alaska. She has a son in the U.S. military. She’s strongly pro-life, belonging, in fact, to Feminists for Life.
Gov. Palin could become the Republican Party’s Segolene Royal, the French Socialist Party’s glamorous leader known for her heels and political bite. She is the perfect antidote to Sen. Obama’s cheap thrills, and would help rejuvenate conservatism.
Slublog, posting at Ace of Spades HQ, a few weeks ago, said:
Palin is actually a good pick for serious reasons. She took on a sitting governor in a primary and beat him soundly. She fought corruption in the state government, is pro-life, anti-tax, a lifetime NRA member and has cut spending in her state. Having her on the ticket would undercut the “making history” soundbite that’s bound to come out of the Democrats no matter who they nominate.

Governor Palin has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Idaho but, thank goodness, she lives her life with much more common sense than most in that profession.
