Democrat sets up fake “Nazi Skinheads for McCain” group (posted by Beth)

What a jaw-droppingly stupid stunt.

A political group registered last week with the Internal Revenue Service, “Nazi Skinheads for McCain 2008,” is aimed at skewering the presumptive Republican nominee, not backing him, an organizer said yesterday.

“I’m not a Nazi skinhead. I’m not a McCain supporter, either,” an unemployed software designer from Jacksonville, Fla., Kier O’Neil told The New York Sun Tuesday. “I’m kind of a disaffected Republican. I would rather have pretty much anybody in office than to have a Republican back in office.”

“Disaffected Republican.” Riiiiiight. This guy has to be the stupidest tool ever to have embarked upon a lame dirty trickster campaign. Hello, Kier O’Neil. How’s that volunteer work for the Democrats working out for you?

  12. You guys are hilarious.

To set the record straight I am a lifelong Republican but I am not going to back ANY administration that systematically lies and deceives the people. Being a good sheep does not make a person a good American. I would actually suggest that the opposite is true.

This administration has lied to you just as much as me and McCain shows no intention of changing course.

Unless you are in the 1% of the highest income bracket this administration has done nothing to benefit you.
    – The Iraq and Afghan wars are disasters of epic proportion.
    – Gas prices are out of control. Price per barrel is 5 times more than when Bush took office.
    – Health care and Insurance are unaffordable.
    – The housing market is in the tank (hence my unemployment).
    – Gaining a college degree is extremely expensive.

So I challenge you to tell me what benefits we have seen over the past seven years and what we can expect in the future if McCain is elected.
I’m will to bet that no one can without mentioning a Democratic candidate.

By the way, I have not endorsed any candidate (except McCain).

If anyone would be willing to have a spirited debate all my information is here. I think its a little more dignified than the character assassination that you folks have done so far.

Try to stay in good humor.

  13. So, let me get this straight. You set up a fake Nazi Skinheads For Obama website, (a patently dishonest thing to do), and you comment here with a long list of classic Democrat talking points, yet you ask us to believe that you’re a life long Republican?

I’m still a Republican, but I’m not blind and deaf.

There is a long list of hypocritical actions that this administration has perpetrated upon the American people that McCain wants to continue. …and remember that just because your part of the dead-ender club doesn’t mean that you’re getting any special treatment. All of the Constitutional usurpations, deceits, and lies that they are telling us free-thinkers they’re also telling you. Unfortunately you are actually buying it as the way things should be. I’m confident that you’ll figure it out eventually. History will not be kind to Mr. Bush or this period in history – Democratic Congress included.

I am hopeful that one day the Republican party will return to the solid values that really represent the will of the people.
    Cheers,

  15. You set up a fake Nazi Skinheads For Obama website,

    I meant to say McCain.

Okay. I really don’t want to get into a debate with someone who is being dishonest right at the onset.

For instance, why on earth would a Republican blame the high cost of health care on Republican policies? That doesn’t even make sense. It’s liberal entitlement programs that have caused the cost of health care to skyrocket, and the Democratic antidote to this is a socialized medicine. Marxism. Take from the rich to aid the poor. No thanks, say real Republicans. Guess what? Health care is affordable to those of us who have jobs. We have to buy are own health care as my husband is self-employed. I have six kids. Is it expensive? Sure. Can we afford it? Sure, or we’d be on Medicaid.

Gas Prices out of control? Your blaming Republicans for that? I’m sorry but neither Republicans nor Democrats set the price for oil. We get most of ours from Canada and Mexico. It’d be nice if we could drill in Anwar for more, but the Dems won’t let us. Hello? A Republican doesn’t need to have this explained to him.

Getting a College degree is expensive. Yep. It helps if you work hard in high school, get good grades, score high on your ACT or SAT. Scholarships are available. You can also work through college. Again – you trying to blame Republicans for this? Maybe the liberal professors should take a cut in pay…what do you say to that. I know for damn sure I have no interest in helping you get through college with my families hard earned tax dollars. The government doesn’t owe you a college education. Republicans know this.

The Iraq and Afghan wars are disasters of epic proportion.

That’s bullshit. For God’s sake educate yourself. I don’t have time to.

Housing Market in the tank – don’t you think that has something to do with the irresponsible spending habits of the people who couldn’t afford the homes they chose to buy? How is that the Republican’s fault? People can rent, instead. The market will bounce back eventually. These things happen in cycles. What do you think the Dems would do to help the situation?

  16. NiceDeb,
    Maybe you should educate yourself.

The entire war is being financed by selling bonds to our past and future largest competitors, namely Japan and China, respectively. The war was supposed to bring us a quick victory and cheap oil but BushCo completely mismanaged and screwed it up leaving us with an enormous money pit that keeps consuming our treasure. How can you defend that?

Our health care costs twice as much as the nice highest nation. Why is that? Entitlements? Do your homework. BushCo made a special provision in Medicare part D that prevented the US from using it’s vast buying power from negotiating lower drug costs. They also withheld the ACTUAL cost of the plan until after it was voted on. Who’s being deceitful there.
I suppose you feel that people without health insurance are lazy and don’t deserve it anyhow.

How can a party that is supposedly Pro-life advocate war-by-choice and the death penalty. It’s hypocritical on it’s face.

You are ignorant my dear and it’s sad because the truth is right there in front of your face.

You would much rather pay more for everything for what? So we can say, “At least we ain’t socialist.”

He’s managed to piss you off Kier. I was kinda chalking that one up as a win in and of itself. I assume a McCain administration will feature further pissing off of you, which is a tangible benefit that can be enjoyed at all ends of the income distribution curve.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot that no attacks on the continental US since 9-11 thing. You know, the accomplishment of this administration over the previous one (2 attacks, 1st WTC and Oklahoma City), and that a succeeding one will have to live up to. Of course I guess public safety takes a back-bench to unattainable perfection, but that’s another matter.

So tell me, you say you haven’t backed a horse, but what exactly do you propose to solve the problems you have listed? Iraq and Afghanistan, would you have preferred when we demanded bin Laden’s extradition and the Taliban refused we just said “aww snap” and skulked away? Sounds like a proposal I remember hearing out of the ultra-progressives in my days at U of M. How exactly were you planning to deal with gas prices? Price controls per chance? Windfall taxes? Bush tried to solve it with the one and only thing that would have worked, increased supplies through expanded US drilling. It was the Democrats and environmental lobbey that killed that and proposed the other alternatives. You have a problem with the cost of insurance. What would you suggest, universal single-payer healthcare, like those great bastions in Europe practice? College tuition is expensive. Of course, how would you solve it, more subsidies? I mean, please, prove me wrong and articulate a list of Repubican solutions to the problems you are prattling off. It sounds to me like you are cherry-picking problems that have Democratic talking-point answers without really demonstrating any coherant alternative point of view.

So, in summation, you created Skinheads for McCain, so you’re a putz.

Oh, I know. “BushCo” “gas prices” “health care” It’s obvious that he hasn’t done any conservative thinking on these subjects. And then there’s college costs:

Republicans realize that the high cost of college education has been enabled by loan programs (just as housing prices skyrocketed due to reduced mortgage rates and innovative (=skanky) new loans). Liberals think the solution is to expand loan programs or give grants, never seeming to grasp that universities will simply raise their tuition to take advantage of students’ increased purchasing power.

Next they’ll say “Aha!! We need a government agency to oversee tuition rates!” Yup. Make a program, make a lot of very predictable problems, make another program to fix the problems, make a lot more very predictable problems without fixing the first problem.
