Time To Quash The Angry Republican Mob Myth, Right Now

Michelle Malkin is right. It’s time to put an end to the “ObaMedia” myth that Republican rallies are bastions of hate and anger:

The narrative of the McCain “mob.” McCain-Palin rallies are out of control, they wheedle. Conservatives are mad! They’re yelling mean things about Obama and calling him names! It’ scaaaaary!

Paul Krugman is trembling: “Something very ugly is taking shape on the political scene: as McCain’s chances fade, the crowds at his rallies are, by all accounts, increasingly gripped by insane rage…What happens when Obama is elected? It will be even worse than it was in the Clinton years. For sure there will be crazy accusations, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some violence.”

Frank Rich decries “Weimar-like rage” and the “violent escalation of rhetoric.”

Let’s talk about “insane rage” and “violent escalation.”

Head on over to Michelle Malkin’s where she does a fabulous job chronicling the unhinged, moonbat rage that conservatives have had to put up with for the past eight years.

Jim Treacher has more, and figures the “deathbed media” has nothing to lose at this point by advancing their political agenda in such an obvious and transparent manner.

The latest McCain/Palin rally outrage stars a genius posing with his Obamamonkey. One idiot out of a crowd of thousands, and it’s proof positive that all Republicans are racists.

If anyone in the MSM wanted to make the effort….they might find it interesting that Obama supporters stalk McCain /Palin rallies all over the nation, with angry chants, and posters, and obscene tee-shirts. They might have noticed that McCain/Palin supporters don’t do the same thing at Obama rallies.

Try googling “McCain/Palin supporters protest Obama rally”, and see what comes up.(Huh!) Mostly posts about Obama supporters protesting McCain rallies, and a few stories about how *angry* McCain supporters are. I didn’t see any stories about McCain supporters stalking Obama rallies.

Now google Obama supporters protest McCain/Palin rally.:

Oh my.

Pages and pages of examples. It turns out, this is a tactic that is actually encouraged by the great community organizer, himself, so we shouldn’t be surprised. This is how they get in our faces.

I went to a McCain/Palin rally back in early September. It was an upbeat, happy group of people. The only angry faces I saw, looked like this:

Here’s a video someone took at the rally in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Notice how after a McCain supporter playfully touches an Obamanut with her index finger, she is accused of assault: “She hit me!”:

Notice how the McCain supporters laugh off the Obama supporters.

These angry Obamanuts are out there, protesting, and agitating at McCain/Palin rallies all across the nation, but the Republicans are the ones who are accused of being “gripped by insane rage”.

Having said all that, it is true that Republicans are getting frustrated and angry.  I wouldn’t call it “insane rage”, but righteous anger. They see the obvious media bias, they see the financial crisis, caused by liberals, being blamed on Republicans, they see the upswing in the polls towards the most corrupt far-left candidate America has ever belched out for POTUS, benefiting as a result. It’s frustrating, you know? So they express their displeasure by booing the media, or saying, “I’m mad”!

Go back and look at Michelle Malkin’s post, and cry me a river.
