Bill Ayers and Barack Obama shared an office. Ayers’ Small Schools Workshop, the one Obama directed all that money too is located at 115 S. Sangamon Street, Chicago, Illinois 60607 [Note the link is to a year 2000 version of their website].
In 1998, the address for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, where Obama presumably worked, was 115 S. Sangamon Street, Chicago, Illinios 60607.
See Verum Serum for screenshots of documents.
Obama downplayed his relationship with Ayers during a Democrat primary debate with Hillary Clinton, by characterizing their contact, as having “crossed paths”. The New York Times reported on October 3rd in their whitewashed piece:
Obama campaign aides said the Ayers relationship had been greatly exaggerated by opponents to smear the candidate.
“The suggestion that Ayers was a political adviser to Obama or someone who shaped his political views is patently false,” said Ben LaBolt, a campaign spokesman. Mr. LaBolt said the men first met in 1995 through the education project, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, and have encountered each other occasionally in public life or in the neighborhood.
That turns out to be not so true. In fact it’s a lie. The part about them encountering each other only occasionally, is for sure, a lie, and the part about Ayers not being a political adviser, or someone who shaped his political views, is probably one.
Look who else works at The Small Schools Workshop?
Yes, THIS Mike Klonsky:
…The Mike Klonsky who actually had a community blog on Obama’s website that dealt with education policy and “social justice teaching,” until conservative bloggers sniffed him out, last June, and he was effectively thrown under the bus.
Voila! No more Mike Klonsky blog! However, there is a screenshot:
By the way, how much money did Obama funnel to this Ayers/Klonsky Small Schools operation?
Verum Serum has been looking into that, too:
This Chicago Annenberg Challenge website from 2002 shows the total amount of funds given to Bill Ayers’ Small Schools Workshop from 1995 to 2001. The amount is not the $175K I had reported earlier. According to this page, the total given under Barack Obama’s direct supervision was $1,056,162. Adding that amount to the money given by the Joyce Foundation and Woods Fund during Obama’s tenure brings the grand total to $1,968,718. Just shy of two million dollars! That’s a lot of scratch, to put it bluntly. And don’t forget, this doesn’t count the 3/4 million that went to John Ayers during the same time period.
Wade Rathke, another former member of SDS, started ACORN, which Obama has also been heavily involved with.
Obama is in thick with these sixties radicals.
And he’s doing his best to conceal it. He’s gone so far as to threaten legal action against t.v. stations for running a truthful ad about his association with Ayers. He met with some success using that tactic.
The media is more interested in Joe the Plumber’s tax records than anything about this. So it’s up to alternative media, and McCain’s ads and robo-calls to get the news out.
This excellent video tells the whole story. If you know any undecided voters, direct them to this video.
Hat tip Ace
See-Dubya has come out of blogging retirement to inform us that not only did Barack Obama write a favorable review of William Ayers’ book, he’s also mentioned within its pages, by William Ayers.
And Newsbusters has put google to good use, and discovered something revealing about the size of Obama, Ayers, and Klonsky’s building.
Hint: It’s puny.
And, Oh! One more thing:
That internet rumor about The Ayers’ babysitting the Obamas’ kids?
Ace says the story is finally going to break this week.
Will Americans care if Obama let unrepentent terrorists babysit his kids? Did they care that he brought them to church every Sunday to see that racist freak, Reverend Wright? Were they ever well informed enough to make a judgment?
I don’t know the answer to any of that. I guess we’ll find out.
There appears to be some confusion as to the status of the building at 115 South Sangamon.
Gateway Pundit is reporting that it is still standing, and provides pictures.
