  5. I’ve tried to stay upbeat about this deal, but I’m having a very difficult time of it. I have never underestimated the stupidity of the average voter – nor the thirst for sheer power of the democrat party and it’s followers. How people can actually consider voting for this zero is incomprehensible to me. I’ve seen so many posts here and there of people praying to God to save our country from this debacle – but unfortunately, asking Him to save us from ourselves isn’t realistic.

    Stupid and apathetic voters caused this mess. We have only ourselves to blame for allowing these cretins called “politicians” have their will over us while we stand by like sheep .. without protest.

  26. nicedeb…I share your feelings and concerns for this country. Change is on the way but my god…at what cost? The American public just sold thier souls! I fear for our children what will inherit? My father was a 20 year Marine pilot and he cannot believe what just happened. His first words to me were the military has done to good of a job the people in this country have never suffered, they’ve never had to go without. They have lived in a world of entitlement and privilege they think it’s a god given right to live the American dream….They have a false sense of reality and they have no concept of misery and suffering.

    Most of them don’t even realize that the Surge succeeded and has been over for months, or that within the last couple months we handed over two more provinces in Iraq to the Iraqis.

    After my 1st comment, I was called names and the right-wing attacks swung into full force.

    I’ve explained why the electorate voted for Obama, but, from the recent comments, it is clear that you guys n’ gals still don’t have a clue as to why you lost in 2006 and again on Tuesday.
