Ann Coulter Tag Teamed By Sawyer And Carville On Good Morning America

Sawyer and Carville live to tell the tale:

Mike Sargent at Newsbusters kept score:

A total of nine questions were asked of the two pundits, seven of which went to Coulter.  Carville, on the other hand, was simply allowed to respond to Coulter without questioning – an unfiltered rebuttal, with free airtime provided by ABC. This, however, was not the most egregious point of controversy.  Carville was allowed, with no challenge from the host, to provide ad-hominem attacks against conservatives – as well as irrelevant, non-sequitur praise for Judge Sonia Sotomayor.

That’s okay, Coulter can hold her own in a whole roomful of  enchanted media sycophants. It’s what she does.

  1. Mike Sargent obviously doesn’t know the meaning of ad hominem, and it is questionable by the looks of this whether he even actually properly watched the vid. If you time the responses you will see that Coulter actually got more time (in which to mount at least three ad hominem attacks on Dems or liberals) than Carville. Carville seemed to me very civilized in relation to Coulter – something Coulter is not exactly renowned for.

  2. That last comment of mine wasn’t an ad hominem attack – try researching folks – or is that beyond you?

  3. I’ve read her books…they’re brilliant. Like most non fiction authors, she’s made a few small factual errors, which she’s happy to correct. Maybe you should try reading her books before you slander them.

  4. Don’t be silly NiceDeb, I have read her books – also fact checked them. They are not brilliant. They are full of vicious unsubstantiated invective. Her characterisations of Darwinianism and of Cold War history are some of the most foolish pieces of writing I’ve ever seen. To call her a non-fiction author is hilarious! It’s quite clear that both you and your cheer squad are not interested in actual policy debate but are more focussed on replicating the idiotic banter and slogans of people like Coulter and Limbaugh.

  5. Sure, you’ve read them Mal.

It never occurs to libs that people read and follow the likes of Limbaugh and Coulter because they agree with US.

  6. Good Lord how amazingly frightening! You mean to say that they take their cues from you regarding political discourse and decency? Also I’m not actually a liberal – I’m a social democrat (or if you prefer – a democratic socialist) as well as an atheist. But you see I can actually be that in my country without having my patriotism and loyalty questioned by political and religious fanatics. You guys are very very weird!

  7. Mal, how naturally, the twisting of other people’s words comes to you. Did Saul Alinsky teach you how to do that? You wonder why I have so much contempt for your side?

Well, you have something in common with Obama…he too is a Democrat Socialist, and probably also an atheist, but he, of course, would never be so honest as to come right out and admit that.

  8. NiceDeb I don’t need to twist your words – you hoist yourself on your own petard. What’s the stuff about Saul Alinsky supposed to mean? Are you anti-semitic as well as ignorant? As to the twisting of other people’s words goes – read your own blog and don’t be so hypocritical. Arguing with you is pointless but a least it’s amusing.

That’s it, Mal. You don’t even see the irony…. I’ve had it with your obnoxious b.s. You try to come off as some highly educated, cosmopolitan progressive, but at this point, I think you’re just a pimply faced college kid who’s world view has been shaped by politically correct pap, and you’ve never learned to think for yourself. You need to grow up and learn about the world.

And I’m banning you because your dishonest, nonsensical crapola has become tiresome.

I’m pretty sure “intelligence” should be on the list. Probably at the top, so as not to have to bother with the rest.

You don’t even see the irony…

That was pretty funny. What a self-immolating doofus.

Arguing with you is pointless but a least it’s amusing.

I wish we could have said the same about Mal.
