I guess I should issue a disclaimer so this video doesn’t get flagged by Obot informers, as something “fishy”.
AHEM: The following video is satire, and the people within are actors, who resemble real people;

The following is the full press release from Darrell Issa of the House Republican Committee on Oversight and Government Reform:
Issa to Emanuel: Back Off!
August 4, 2009
WASHINGTON. D.C. – Following reports that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has been orchestrating an effort to intimidate members of Congress and Governors who raise legitimate concerns regarding the effectiveness of the stimulus, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Ranking Member Darrell Issa (R-CA) sent a letter to Emanuel saying “While this type of scare tactic may work In Chicago, it will not work to intimidate me or other Members of the United States Congress.”
“I and others have dared to bring these facts to the attention of President Obama, the Congress and the American people,” Issa wrote. “You’ve unfortunately reacted by once again resorting to the playbook of the Chicago political machine.”
Last month, Politico reported that Emanuel had “launched a coordinated effort to jam” Senator Kyl and other Administration critics… “[A]fter seeing Kyl and House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) again paint the legislation as a failure on Sunday talk shows, White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel directed that the letters from the Cabinet secretaries be sent to [Governor] Brewer, according to two administration officials.”
Issa noted, “The fact that the letters were coordinated by you to maximize the level of intimidation is supported by the timing, structure, and content of each letter. Not only were the four letters all sent the day following Senator Kyl’s remarks, but they were also remarkably similar in tone and sentence structure.”
Letter from Ray LaHood, Secretary of Transportation:
On Sunday, Arizona Senator Jon Kyl publicly questioned whether the stimulus is working and stated that he wants to cancel projects that aren’t presently underway. I believe the stimulus has been very effective in creating job opportunities throughout the country. However, if you prefer to forfeit the money we are making available to your state, as Senator Kyl suggests, please let me know
Letter from Ken Salazar, Secretary of the Interior:
Some key Republican leaders in Congress have publicly questioned whether the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is working and suggested cancelling all projects that are not currently in progress. I believe they are wrong. The stimulus funds provided through the Recovery Act are a very effective way to create job opportunities throughout the Country. However, if you prefer to forfeit the money we are making available to Arizona, please let me know [emphasis added].
“At what point do you believe your practice of Chicago-style politics violates a public official’s right to speak out in favor of alternative policies,” Issa asks. “The American people have a right to know what role you played in developing the threatening letters to Governor Brewer and whether you intend to continue to engage in these tactics in the future.”
In order to assist the Committee with its investigation of this issue, please provide the following information by close of business on Tuesday, August 11, 2009:
Your response to Politico’s report that “White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel directed that the letters from the Cabinet secretaries be sent to [Governor] Brewer, according to two administration officials.”

Michelle Malkin calls it the “smell of desperation.”:
The video features former ABC News correspondent Linda Douglass, now the communications director for the White House Office of Health Reform, countering the powerful and effective Naked Emperor News video which exposes Obama’s dishonesty in the health care debate. To do this, she dusts off the left’s favorite canard, when caught on tape behaving reprehensibly: “Out of context!11!!”, without actually addressing Obama’s past statements, which speak for themselves.
As I’m sure you remember, Obama’s former Pastor, and spiritual mentor, Jeremiah Wright was supposedly “taken out of context”, too, as if what happened when he said, G*d damn America, was that he prefaced those words by saying, “don’t listen to crazy anti-American race hustlers who say….”, and the blogosphere only picked up on the second part of his sentence. But no, in actuality, he prefaced his words with an anti-American, poisonous diatribe, which is precisely what you would have expected to have preceded those words.
In case you’re wondering how Obama would explain how he was taken out of context when he said that he “happens to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care plan”, but not really be for a single payer health care plan, you’re in luck. He was asked that question way back in January ’08. Check this out:
Poor Barack, always taken out of context:
“What I said during the debate was that a single payer system was one that I would support if we were starting from scratch…”
Um, no, at the debate, he said that he had never supported a single payer system. It seems like he was having trouble keeping his lies straight, and his trouble hearing the clips made it all the more difficult for him to navigate through the lies.
“What I have said consistently is…if we didn’t have a legacy of employer based health care…then it might make more sense to set up a single payer system…I’ve always said that…I’ve said that during the course of this campaign, but what I’ve also said is that we’ve got to build on the system that we’ve already got…yadayada yada…” (segues into boilerplate).
See? He wasn’t being inconsistent…he was merely being taken out of context. What happened was, he was consistently going around the country saying, “Gee, you know what, if there was no such thing as employer based health care…single payer would be really awesome…but since we have….employer based health care…. I guess we won’t be going for that single payer dealie, no sir! Just thought I’d mention it and all, anyway…”
Makes total sense.
The more recent clips that Linda Douglas uses to reveal “the truth” about ObamaCare are laughable in that the whole point of our argument is that Obama is LYING to the American people in order to sell his health care plan, which he wants to eventually lead to single payer/universal health care.
Breitbart has fired back by posting the uncut 2003 video of Obama’s single payer speech. What was taken put of context?
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
They’re asking US citizens to inform on each other, now?
Remember in the wake of 9/11 when the Bush administration urged people who may have seen something suspicious to report it? Well, the left went nuts.
Yeah, of course back then, the President was concerned about national security. Now it’s the President concerned about his job security.

I’m loving the comments at You Tube responding to the Linda Douglas White House video:
The current admin has to do damage control when Obama speaks his unscripted truth (NakedEmperorNews1 and Verum Serum’s 2003 clip show) and not the “polled” and crafted tag lines. Obama’s truth does scare people. Obama supports and wants congress to deliver single payer – “universal healthcare”. This govt and present admin can want to control your choices by controlling how much “Change” is left in your pocket. Save yourselves!
The Obama administration has bent over backwards to reach out to the Muslim community in America, and throughout the world. Pamela Geller, writing for Israel National News counted the ways in her oped, Obama Unmasked: 40 Czars Later:
•instructed the State Department to create a new appointment, US Special Representative Muslim (Ummah)
• sent his no. 2 woman at the White House, Valerie Jarrett, to speak at the racist hate-fest staged over the Fourth of July weekend by the Islamic Society of North America, an unindicted co-conspirator in a case involving the funding of the Hamas terror group.
•the appointment of Arif Alikhan as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security – an appointment that is troubling in many ways.
•invited the propaganda television station of Hamas, Al-Quds TV, to film propaganda here in the United States on the dime of US taxpayer dollars.
•announced that he was “presenting the Medal of Freedom to Mary Robinson, noted anti-Semite.
•instituted the “US Muslim engagement” – a blueprint for appeasement
Click on link for the gory details of all of these actions.
Not mentioned is the infamous bow to the Saudi king, his appointment of noted anti-semite, Chas Freeman, the pro-Saudi, anti-Israel extremist the National Intelligence Council, (an appointment that was so egregious it was later retracted), his appointment of State Dept. Legal adviser, transnationalist Harold Koh, and his apology tour in the Muslim world.
But there is one appointment Obama has failed to make. The Jerusalem Post reported: “The Obama administration has failed to name an envoy for monitoring and combating anti-Semitism around the world, as mandated by US law, since the previous ambassador was relieved of his duties at the start of the president’s term more than six months ago, officials said Thursday.”
Rafael Medoff, director of the Washington DC-based David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies, explained: “Foot-dragging on the selection sends a message that anti-Semitism is not of great importance to the United States.”
A pattern of tolerance for antisemitism has emerged, and it’s one that many people could have predicted a year and a half ago, and did. This video is from April/08:
Bishop E. W. Jackson, Sr., of Exodus Faith Ministries, sounds the alarm:
“Those who are paying attention and thinking about these issues do not find it unreasonable to consider that President Obama is influenced by a strain of anti-Semitism picked up from the Black community, his leftist friends and colleagues, his Muslim associations and his long period of mentorship under Jeremiah Wright. If this conclusion is accurate, Israel has some dark days ahead. For the first time in her history, she may find the president of the United States siding with her enemies. Those who believe as I do that Israel must be protected had better be ready for the fight. We are. Never again!”
Hillary tried to assure us during the campaign that “Obama Would Be a Good Friend To Israel”, but the evidence so far doesn’t bare this out.
