Wisconsin Congressman Ryan packed lots of anti-ObamaCare bullet points into this one minute floor speech:
Another one, via Gateway Pundit:
Rep. Steve LaTourette (R-OH) mocked the Dems’ whiny blame game:
Also I’d like to put something else out there. If you’d like to make a gift in memory of a loved one, I will put their name on my sidebar and I’ll keep it there after the competition ends. Donating to Valour IT is a great way to honor the memory of someone you love, and to ensure that others remember them too.
Email me (cassandra.vc at gmail dot com) your sanitized (I don’t need to see your cc address, checking account number, or home address) electronic receipt from Soldier’s Angels.
And don’t forget to let me know if you’d like me to append your name and contribution amount to this post. I’ll assume, unless directed otherwise, that you wish to remain anonymous.

“Sometimes I do think I can’t do it. Then I think: Why not? I can do whatever I want.”– Sergeant Merlin German
There is a side of war many Americans regard with pride. We’ve all seen the iconic images. They create a lump in our throats and a curious stinging sensation behind our eyelids. A lone gunner stands silhouetted against a brilliant desert sunset. Families, their faces literally glowing with joy, embrace on a tarmac. A child watches a platoon of smartly dressed Marines pass by, awe and hero worship writ plainly on his tiny face. You can almost hear him thinking, “That’s what I want to be when I grow up.”
I don’t know why I’m even wasting your time with this…it’s not like worse things haven’t been said about Dick Cheney. But jeez, it’s not just a one-off joke – he goes on and on for over a minute, talking about blood dribbling down his tux, even assigning religions to the babies. WTF?

The pretext for this bizarre tangent was even off. Going back to look at Cheney as he gave his foreign policy speech Oct. 21, his complexion looked normal, tan, but not “ruddy”. And “dithering” is somehow an illegitimate word to use because it’s old?…or something?…huh?
This guy, Mike Malloy, is seriously deranged, but he apparently has an audience. Judging from Alan Grayson’s recent similarly bizarre comments made on Hardball a few days ago, I suspect he’s a member of Malloy’s audience.
Kudos to Verum Serum for putting together this excellent video which showcases the liberal deception in this “not principled” health care fight. And with the Dems still working feverishly to cram some form of a public option into the final bill, it can not be repeated enough that these people are lying to us when they say that it will not lead to government run health care. They know it. Many of us know it, but we need to get the word out to those who don’t know it, because many people still trust what the MSM tells them, and the MSM has been AWOL on this:
Morgen from Verum Serum notes:
Watching these clips, and reflecting back on the past 6 months, I still find it hard to believe that this transparent deception hasn’t even warranted a mention outside of conservative media. (And the coverage in conservative media has been considerable.) In the rest of the media, nearly without exception the issue is framed as “critics of the public option claim”…or “conservatives claim”… that it could result in a government takeover of healthcare.
Uh, note to the media. The people in this video are not “critics” of the public option, and they certainly aren’t conservatives. They are some of the chief promoters of the public option. As I noted in my recent post on the failure of the media, this deception would have been treated like Watergate had a Republican administration been implicated in peddling a deception of this magnitude on the American people.
Even people who are for government run health care should be offended by this.
Conservative cat gives Obamacat one hell of a talking to:
Sorry to all of you disappointed sadists who were hoping that the fur would fly.

Every day throughout the Project Valour-IT fundraiser, which runs from October 26th, to November 11, the Marine team will be featuring a Marine (fallen heroes, active duty or retired) to honor.
“I met USMC Lance Cpl. James Crosby in June 2004. He was 19. He was a kid from a blue-collar background in Winthrop, Mass., and his body was a mess. But I could tell within minutes of meeting him that he was no ordinary kid, and I was pretty sure I’d hear his name again.”
From the Boston Herald archives:“I WILL walk again,” Crosby said last week at the West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital, where the Winthrop native has been in physical therapy, fighting infections and undergoing surgeries since mid-April.
Everything changed for Crosby on March 18 at Al Asad airbase. He had been in Iraq a month. He was on a truck, after making a PX run and calling his wife. He heard a whistling noise….
