The New Black Panther Party has been embroiled in a battle between Republican Congressmen and the U.S. Department Of Justice battle over a ”voter intimidation” scandal for the last 18 months. During these 18 months right wing and Republican Newspaper and Electronic media have gone to exhaustive lengths to discredit and slander the New Black Panther Party and its Chairman and Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz.
Despite the controversy the New Black Panther Party continues to grow and expand. The National Black Power Conventions impressive lineup of guests and organizations is a testimony that the New Black Panthers Leadership has support in wide circles in the Black Community, particularly amongst grassroots organizers and entertainers.
“With the rise of the Tea Party, the white-right and other racist forces. With gun sales nationwide at an all time high amongst whites, with a mood that is more anti-Black than any time recent, it is imperative that we organize our forces, pool our resources and prepare for war!” Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, Esq. Let them come. I have ten 30-round mags for my AR, all nicely filled with 59-grain ammo and ready for immediate employment, and a wife who shoots as well as I do and reloads even faster.

I could not find didly squat in the ajc today on this convention. The convention website has the New Black Panther logo, at the bottom it says “Freedom or Death.”
Check out the agenda! Some things looks good like health and ending gang violence, but how about “Self Defense: Survival and War preparation”?
It certainly will bring shame upon Martin Luther King’s legacy of peace and equality for all.

The psychology of the bully is to bluster and make threats in the hope that that alone will get him what he wants. The bully is essentially a coward who fears to be struck. Give him a credible reason to believe that he’s about to be struck and he turns into a crybaby.
The Black Panthers are bullies of the first water. They make almost all their gains out of intimidation; they’ve seldom faced a forceful response. If a pair of armed citizens had converged on that Philadelphia polling place back in November 2008 and told the two Panthers with nightsticks to clear out or face the consequences, they’ve have vanished so fast we’d be uncertain whether they’d really been there in the first place.
So I say, to them and to anyone else who thinks he can get his way with threats of “war:” You want it, big guy? Come and get it. We’ll see who’s still standing at the end.
It’s time for decent Americans to stop being spineless wimps.

For God’s sake, geoff — why no capital letter? Unwilling to “shift for yourself?” — grow up. Learn to be a man. Nothing a conservative says or does will ever receive the approbation of liberals. As far as they’re concerned we’re all racists, sexists, homophobes, and destroyers of the environment! The more you concede to them, the more they demand…just like the Panthers.
As for “moderates,” they, too should acquire some spine. If they haven’t got enough to recognize the futility of sitting in meek silence while the enemies of freedom threaten us with everything from armed revolution to a plague of chapped lips, they’re no use to the country and are as dismissible as the liberals.
Be a spineless wimp if you like. I’m locked, loaded, and waiting for them, and I want these bastards to know it. Nothing else has a chance of shutting them up — and your desire to shut me up puts you in their camp.

And I would say that your approach would be correct in a rational world. Sadly, we no longer live in one. I don’t worry about the Left’s approval. I’m not willing to suspend my belief in what I know to pretend with them that what they feel is true. However, there are a lot of people who are silly enough to believe what the legacy media will gladly tell them. It rarely has any bearing on the truth, but that is where we find ourselves.
The right approach is to let them make the mistake, and go a bridge too far for the average citizen watching the Nightly News. The bolder they get, the more likely it is to happen.

Buckaroo, if you haven’t figured out yet which side I’ve chosen, then I’m not sure what else can be done. However, I believe in making the smart play rather than handing those that hate me a loaded gun, placing my head at the business end and screaming at them to pull the trigger. Sacrifice may well be necessary to set things right, but I’m looking to go all in when the time is right for our side, and I’m not simply feeding their narrative.

Settle down, little buckaroo. I’ve been an AoSHQ regular almost since he started (well before mee.nu), I’m a co-blogger (in name at least) here, and at Innocent Bystanders, and I used to co-blog with See Dubya at Junkyard Blog. I’m also the unemployment chart guy.
I’ve spent a lot of time battling libs on many sites, particularly this one, and my approach is to present the conservative viewpoint as rational and sensible. I like to think that objective observers find that presentation convincing. But calling out the NBP’s to engage in battle isn’t exactly helping me make that case.
Do what you think you need to do to protect yourself, and confront liberal idiocy at every level. But calling for armed conflict just makes us look bad. Really, really bad. Stupid, unhinged, and bad.
That’s all I have to say on the subject. Take the last word if you want it.

Well, as a combat Veteran during the Vietnam War, I could see the hand writing on the wall when I came home to see little bastards carrying the Viet Cong Flag in the streets of our cities across the Country. That was my wake-up call. I’ve been locked and loaded ever since, just waiting for the son-of-bitches to make their move. Looks like that time is here and they are about ready to show their stuff . Well it’s time for all of us to start “culling the herd” and getting down to business. “Git ‘er done” as Larry would say.
Just let me warn everybody that it’s not only the “Black Panthers” who are going to be making life difficult for us. La Raza, along with Hispanic Gangs are going to be involved, along with Al Qaeda Operatives who snuck across our borders all these years, Russians (need I say more?), North Koreans, Iran, Palestinians, Muslims, Castro’s Cuban immigrants, Anarchists, ACORN, SEIU other Left Wing Union thugs, everyday criminals. and rioters and everyone that has a bone to pick us. Random Bombing attacks on Infrastructure as well as large civilian gatherings, sniper assassinations, random riots and other acts of civil disorder will bring us to a point of Martial Law, which is exactly what the boob in the White House will want, to begin his reign of Total Dictatorship. so get allot practise on the range, load up on reserves, and get to know and trust some people with like concerns. It won’t be pretty once it starts. And don’t expect the Police to be answering your calls for help. I guarantee they willl be busy defending the Politicians, Big Shots, Power Plants, Water Facilities, Bridges, Tunnels, Airports, Large Buildings, and other such targets of opportunity. It won’t be nice, so prepare for the worse.
