Video: Netanyahu’s Powerful Address To Congress

This video only contains the first seven minutes of Netanyahu’s excellent speech before a joint session of Congress, today. I’ll put up part two when it appears on Youtube.

You can watch the full video at the Right Scoop.

There were so many memorable lines in this speech, (which was read without the aid of a teleprompter):

In a region of shifting alliances, Israel is America’s unwavering ally. Israel has always been pro-American. Israel will always be pro-American.My friends, you don’t need to do nation building in Israel. We’re already built. You don’t need to export democracy to Israel. We’ve already got it. You don’t need to send American troops to defend Israel. We defend ourselves.

We’re proud that over one million Arab citizens of Israel have been enjoying these rights for decades. Of the 300 million Arabs in the Middle East and North Africa, only Israel’s Arab citizens enjoy real democratic rights. I want you to stop for a second and think about that. Of those 300 million Arabs, less than one-half of one-percent are truly free, and they’re all citizens of Israel!  This startling fact reveals a basic truth: Israel is not what is wrong about the Middle East. Israel is what is right about the Middle East.

Yet the Ayatollah regime briefly suspended its nuclear program only once, in 2003, when it feared the possibility of military action. That same year, Muammar Qadaffi gave up his nuclear weapons program, and for the same reason. The more Iran believes that all options are on the table, the less the chance of confrontation. This is why I ask you to continue to send an unequivocal message: That America will never permit Iran to develop nuclear weapons.

When we say never again, we mean never again. Israel always reserves the right to defend itself.

You see, our conflict has never been about the establishment of a Palestinian state. It has always been about the existence of the Jewish state. This is what this conflict is about. In 1947, the United Nations voted to partition the land into a Jewish state and an Arab state. The Jews said yes. The Palestinians said no. In recent years, the Palestinians twice refused generous offers by Israeli Prime Ministers, to establish a Palestinian state on virtually all the territory won by Israel in the Six Day War.Israel will not return to the indefensible lines of 1967.

So I say to President Abbas: Tear up your pact with Hamas! Sit down and negotiate! Make peace with the Jewish state! And if you do, I promise you this. Israel will not be the last country to welcome a Palestinian state as a new member of the United Nations. It will be the first to do so.

RCP: Biden Does Not Applaud After Netanyahu Says Jerusalem Will Not Be Divided

Atlas Shrugs: 56 Thunderous Times:

56 times. That’s how many times the Congress cheered, applauded and/or stood up for Benjamin Netanyahu. This kind of reception is reserved for a much loved president of …… the United States. He was welcomed with a standing ovation and over three minutes of thunderous applause.

And he did not disappoint. Binyamin was brilliant. I will post video as soon as it goes online.

This was history. Unforgettable.

“Israel has no better friend than America and America has no better friend than Israel,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said in his much-anticipated speech to a special joint session of Congress.
The two countries “stand together, to defend democracy, to advance peace and to fight terrorism.”

His speech was very strong, He did not downplay the disagreements, but discussed them forthrightly and was met with thunderous applause.

Lisa Graas: Rand Paul Pouts on Senate Floor During Netanyahu Speech

As Benjamin Netanyahu delivered his address before Congress, Rand Paul pouted…alone…on the Senate floor. haha

From Politico:

As senators gathered on the Senate floor before the address, Paul was spotted speaking to his staffers toward the back of the chamber. As the Senate procession across the Capitol began, the tea-party-backed senator quietly walked to his desk, sat down and began shuffling through papers and newspapers.

He remained the only senator on the Senate floor during the speech.

  1. Obhammud will view this speech the same way we view anything that comes out of his mouth – a pack of lies.

Unfortunately for Obhammud, though, Netanyahu’s speech is packed with facts, something with which he is totally unfamiliar.

  2. This speech was historic. Netanyahu made perfectly clear that Israel under his watch will never turn itself over to the whims of the international community. If there is to be peace, it will have to be willingly negotiated with a legitimate palestinian government who rejects association with terrorist hamas. Israel will not meekly tolerate attack on its sovereign soil, or ever give up its existence as the God-given land of the Jews. Period.

What was mind-boggling and incredibly sublime, was Netanyahu’s impromptu comments to the press after the speech to the joint session of congress. A podium was set up in the hallway for he and leaders of Congress to make comments to the press. Netanyahu spoke about his great pleasure in the positive response from members of Congress as he was greeted after the speech and it warmed his heart. Netanyahu went on to say that this basically changed his mind about the direction that Israel would take in its relationship with the U.S. Each of the top members of Congress from both houses then went to the podium and fell all over themselves making statements of support for Israel.

I wish I had the transcript or video of Netanyahu’s statement to the press, but this is what I remember hearing as the subtext of his comments:

I, Netanyahu, am ready and willing to end all your careers at this moment. What Obama has done is try to dictate the annihilation of Israel for the benefit of a palestinian state. And he is attempting to use the UN to make it happen. I will not stand for it. Israelis will never give up our country and if you, congress, do not stand up for Israel at this very moment I will expose you all. Our Mossad knows and has proof the usurper was installed with your knowledge and approval. You will all go down now as conspirators of treason to your country if you even think about throwing Israel to the wolves. It is the moment of truth. And if I open my mouth now there is no turning back or hiding this from your citizens, or the world.

It was beautiful. Oh that we would be blessed with such a leader, a statesman who loves his country and has the strength of will that this “real man” has to protect it. Congress must be trembling in their thousand dollar shoes. Netanyahu can utterly destroy them in a few words if they so much as flinch from supporting Israel, and they know it.

  3. Did anybody catch the comment Netanyahu made at the time of the interruptions? I heard about it on the radio. It sounded like he said something like, protesters couldn’t have made such a statement in the sham democracies of the Middle East.

There are basically two places in the world where protests like this can happen, and have the protesters still alive the next day: Here, and in Israel.

It’s ludicrous to expect the Palestinians to negotiate. There is one position from which they will not budge: Israel must be destroyed.

Most of us have a short attention span. Here’s a news item from last Sept:

Explosives cache destined for Gaza smuggling found in Sinai

    Another article:
“Forces raided the area south of the Al-Arish port city and discovered 65 anti-aircraft missiles, 35 anti-tank missiles, as well as large quantities or ammunition, the sources added.

Egyptian security forces said they discovered weapons and explosives on Monday, hidden in the border city of Rafah, prepared for smuggling into Gaza through tunnels.”

  6. You are all sheep, this is disgusting. If you are intelligent enough to see past political pandering and discern actual information, this speech essentially attempts to validate Israel’s ridiculous border claims, by stating that they will not allow a Palestine which is not surrounded by Israeli territory. Watch the full speech, not this nice little clipping from the beginning. This is great for everyone who is afraid of peace. Come September, when Palestine appeals to the UN for their rights to statehood (exactly as Israel did before it’s birth), we will see unprecedented political turmoil because of right-wing hardliner Israeli bullshit like this.

  7. Sorry, Bucko, we know the real history of the region and understand Israel’s position.

Who in their right minds think Israel should negotiate with Hamas, a terrorist organization who has vowed (actually written it into their party’s charter) to destroy them?

An Israeli or Jew who agrees with such a thing is the very definition of sheep. Taking the pro-Palestinian side is uh…the counterpart to that. Which are you?

Is your middle name Yasser? Why don’t you take your complaint to the Jordanians, Egyptians and Syrians, where you will find the lying, sympathetic ear you seek?

Understand something Guy. Jerusalem was Israel, is Israel, and will always be Israel. It can not be divided, and that is not negotiable.

  10. Look at a map of the Middle East, from Iran all the way out to Gibraltar, at least 8.5×11.

Notice how much of that land is Muslim/Arab.

Now look at the tiny little strip labeled “Israel”.

The hypocritical Arabs have no thought – let alone love – for their “Palestinian brothers”. There’s more than enough land for them to give the residents of the area known as Palestine (a name imposed by the Romans way back when) a country 3 or 4 times as big as Israel, and not even notice the difference to their own territory.

But no. They need the Palestinians as a pawn in their religious war with Israel.

It’s like when two young kids are playing with two balls, and one of them (the Palestinians) cries and says “I want that ball, too!!”.

Every concession Israel has ever made hasn’t brought the Hamas-driven Palestinians an inch closer to peace. They only want more.

“Israel’s ridiculous border claims, by stating that they will not allow a Palestine which is not surrounded by Israeli territory”

Within hours of Israel’s founding in 1948, it was attacked from all sides.

nicedeb: “An Israeli or Jew who agrees with such a thing is the very definition of sheep. ”

That’s an interesting point. I have to wonder why Obama got so much of the “Jewish vote”.

Using profoundly dishonest casualty figures is a defining characteristic of Palestinian propaganda. Using profoundly dishonest facts and figures is also a defining characteristic of the left.

(As are making vile, hateful smears against an opponent when losing an argument on the merits.)

    Go figure.

That said. Wrap your mind around his response to the fact that Palestinian terrorists lob bombs at Israel from heavily populated areas in Gaza.

    “I (sic) doesn’t matter.”

You see, he would have Israel not defend itself against a people who believe that their childrens’ “martyrdom” is a holy and glorious thing. He would have them bullied into making more concessions to a people who want nothing more than their complete and utter annihilation.

Guy Fawkes is on board with that. Don’t let his crocodile tears for the victims of the conflict fool you.

If that’s true, your parents should ask for their money back. You haven’t been taught how to think, you’ve been taught what to think. That’s why your idea of an argument is “You are racist”, “hateful” or “inbred” for disagreeing with you.

Take a good look at yourself, Fawkes. At 27, you have much growing up to do.

You have no clue as to how typical and clownish a left-wing tool you are — haughtily explaining what “senior fellow”means! Lulz! I’m sorry you don’t realize that the “senior fellows” at Media Matters are a laughingstock in the right-wing blogosphere. They are as full of themselves as you are of yourself.

I especially like how you did not defend your implication that killing children is justified.

Was that necessary? When a country is forced to defend itself by firing back at terrorists who fire their rockets from heavily populated areas –collateral damage is unfortunately unavoidable. You are placing the blame on the people who actually value human life instead of the nihilists who don’t. The Israelis are faced with allowing themselves to be bombed with impunity, fight back against fanatics who put their own children in harms way to score propaganda points, or give up more to Islamofascists who want to annihilate them.

But you’re a brainwashed drone who never learned how to think for himself, so that’s a real tough concept for you to grasp, I’m sure.

Since you promised us you’d be leaving in a huff (or a minute and a huff), you probably won’t be reading this.

The really truly sad thing about the Palestinians (aside from the fact that they voted Hamas to be their leaders) is that they’re being used as pawns by their oh-so-compassionate Arab brothers, who would rather keep them under their thumb than to actually help them. Like, for instance, with aid, or giving them a home somewhere in the boundless Arab territories.

In English parliament and other places it has proven to be rather interesting how the different, multiple parties can ally depending on the issue. People are so left or so right that it seems like they try to put everything into black or white. No one tries to see the gray in the matter and those that do are shouted down.

As to Israel, as the UN piece of chartered land they are I believe some concessions should be made, as Netanyahu has himself noted, however to return to pre-1967 borders would prove too hard to maintain and enforce. We should wait and see what Netanyahu comes back with and then allow some negotiation from there.

  31. Really Nick? You would compare “tool” to the barrage of profanities and nasty insults he hurled my way?

I’m not against mild name-calling like “tool”. I find it a more colorful way of making a point than spending a boring paragraph explaining why a guy repeating pro-Palestinian propaganda when we know he couldn’t last three days in an Islamic caliphate, makes him a useful idiot – (and there’s really no nice way to say that). And almost certainly, it’s his antipathy toward the Christian right that is what’s probably driving his ideology. “Tool” is pithy and kinda sums it all up.

Of course, I would have been more congenial had he not been such an insufferable douche from the very beginning. I admit, I have a very short fuse.

What I called him out for were his vicious, uncalled for personal ad homs like “inbred”, “racist”, “uneducated”, “shitty”, “an idiot”, “hater”, “should be sterilized” (he apparently read my “about” page), etc. all based not on anything but his blind, unhinged rage at being disagreed with.

I just missed talking to you so much – listening to Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, and Sarah Palin speak on youtube just couldn’t quite match your particular level of conservative craziness. OK look, I am sorry for calling you names I agree that gets no where. Now you keep calling me a liberal and a leftist like that is a bad thing. What I am championing here is a fundamental respect for human rights, which Israel breaks and destroys on a regular basis in terms of the Palestinian people (read the Goldstone Report for starters). Regardless of what action has taken place it is never justified to kill children, and if you can’t see that than you truly are lost. As I said Arabs are people in this world too, they, along with every person (including Israelis – oh what I’m not a pro Palestinian fundamentalist?) deserve to live their lives based on the fundamental human rights and concept of human security as defined by the UN. Peace is an entirely possible concept. Do not forget that before the UN mandated a Jewish state that it was the Jews who, by your logic, were called terrorists. Yes Palestinians currently fight back with rocks and weak rocket fire (non-technologically advanced and short range – today’s poor mans weapon) against a rich (due to American assistance) country barraging them with hellfire missiles and the latest military technology – they do so because they are losing their homes, their livelihood, and their dignity. I don’t condone violence in any sense – ESPECIALLY when it is avoidable. It is a conservative frame of mind that examines the current situation and pays no credence to the factors that led to it. If my rational through process and ideals of peace building are considered left and liberal than I wear that badge with honor.

Also, it is the mandate of most universities to provide a strong, liberal education so you may want to home school your children if you don’t want them exposed to compassionate, rational thinking.

By the way your “disagreement” is not what fuels my “unhinged rage”, its my frustration that people like actually think you are better than anyone else. And before you attack what I just said right there, I am referring to your belief that the killing of Arabs is justified because they are ‘nihilistic’ and think differently than you. We should probably go back in time and string up Kierkegaard, Heidegger, and Nietzsche. Maybe, if given a chance, he’ll also admit he engages in another typical symptom of left-wing mental illness – projection – like calling people “crazies” because they have another point of view – – – – – after twice vowing to not come back to this very blog.

See, I would look at someone’s actual unhinged behavior before I made such an assessment. Like making vile personal attacks on a stranger, acting comically haughty and huffy, vowing to leave and never return twice – only to keep coming back…..stuff like that.

    More pathetic projection, here:

By the way your “disagreement” is not what fuels my “unhinged rage”, its my frustration that people like actually think you are better than anyone else.

    Look in the mirror, Fawkes.

your belief that the killing of Arabs is justified because they are ‘nihilistic’ and think differently than you.

Absolute mindless, drivel — either dishonest alinskyism, or more evidence that you’ve been taught what to think – not how to think. Whichever, it’s so sad to see.

These people are “nihilistic” because they. are. “nihilistic”. Words mean things. Look it up if you don’t know what it means. Radical Islamists are people who don’t put any value on life and do not fear death. Not just Israel, but all civilization is faced with a transcendent conflict with those who love death both for themselves and their enemies more than life.

Palestinian children are taught from the time they are born to despise Jews and loathe the West. Palestinian Muslims live on global largesse and then complain that it’s not enough – perpetual victims – while they celebrate terrorist “martyrs” for blowing up Israelis. When an Israeli family was slaughtered in their sleep, (including a baby, who’s throat was slashed) by a Palestinian terrorist, candies and sweets were handed out in Gaza to celebrate the courageous murder.

    http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2011/03/open-letter-to-harvey-weinstein.html

Yes, by God, they do think “differently” than us, and that’s why I don’t believe this conflict is ever going to have a peaceful solution. That’s why Israel is in existential danger.

Arabs are people in this world too, they, along with every person (including Israelis – oh what I’m not a pro Palestinian fundamentalist?) deserve to live their lives based on the fundamental human rights and concept of human security as defined by the UN. Peace is an entirely possible concept.

Bla bla bla… more mindless platitudes. Do you believe Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state, or not? What you, and the president, and other lefties won’t admit, is that you believe the creation of Israel was a mistake, and is the cause of Muslim animus and terror.

Get rid of the mistake, get rid of the terror.

On 2 August, Hamas militants in Egypt fired seven Iranian-made Grad missiles at the resort city of Eilat in the extreme south of Israel. Overshot missiles hit the Jordanian city of Aqaba, killing one person and wounding several.

On 20 October, an accidental explosion occurred at a Hamas Qassam rocket training site in the densely crowded Tel As-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Thirteen people were injured by flying shrapnel, including five children and three women.[3

Bullshit. MBAs are openly laughed at. The only place advanced degrees help you are in academia (as dodgy a profession” as “preacher”), in government (which is a dying industry worldwide), or, the real case, the hard sciences.

To “do anything in life” you have to leave the house before 7. Universally, the BMWs and the Mercedes are in the parking lot two hours before the Chevies and the Fords. What you have to do to “do anything in life” is GO TO WORK AND WORK YOUR ASS OFF. Nothing less, nothing more. I have a good friend who has a hell of a lot more money than I do. He’s a plumber. He has about 15 vans running at any given time. He did not get a degree. He worked his ass off and makes more than his lawyer, his doctor, and any professor that would dare look down his nose at him for being a professional turd-herder, combined.

  59. Come September, when Palestine appeals to the UN for their rights to statehood (exactly as Israel did before it’s birth), we will see unprecedented political turmoil because of right-wing hardliner Israeli bullshit like this.

BZZZZT – you lose, but thanks for playing our home game; statehood ain’t happening this September in the UN:

As reported by the Jerusalem Post, the President of the U.N. General Assembly confirms that the Palestinians cannot obtain U.N. recognition as a member state unless the matter is referred to the General Assembly by the Security Council:

The Palestinians cannot circumvent the UN Security Council to avoid a likely US veto if they try to join the United Nations as a sovereign state later this year, a top UN official said on Friday.
But the official made clear a US veto would not put the issue of Palestinian statehood and UN membership to rest.

Some Arab diplomats in New York have suggested it would be possible for the Palestinians to bypass the UN Security Council and go straight to the 192-nation General Assembly to win approval for a planned UN membership application.

The UN charter says that new members are admitted by the General Assembly on the recommendation of the 15-nation Security Council, where the United Sates, Britain, France, China and Russia are permanent members with veto powers.

The current president of the General Assembly, Joseph Deiss of Switzerland, was asked by reporters if there was a way for the Palestinians to become a UN member state if its application was vetoed by the United States, which opposes the idea. Deiss said, “No.”

Without the money forcibly coerced from the fruits of their hard labor, I seriously doubt your museum would be able to exist on its own “merits”. Museums are a nice luxury which are only afforded to civilizations which live in relative peace and prosperity – you would do well to remember that.

When people are struggling to put food on the table or pay for increasingly expensive gasoline to put in their cars so that they can continue to go to work, THEY QUIT GOING TO MUSEUMS, because that is an unnecessary expense.

Again – you are young and naive, and at your age you do not truly have the first idea of how “the real world” works. You have the luxury of living in the protected world of academia, which bears absolutely NO resemblance to the big, bad, world that the rest of us live in.

Always remember that a cup of coffee is going to cost the same, whether you are a garbage collector or someone who has a PHD in History.

And just looking at you, nobody knows (or cares) what your education level is – they only care if you are a kind and decent person who is going to give them basic respect. If you pull the “PHD” card out first thing, most people are going to assume that you are expecting them to be impressed by the alphabet soup behind your name.

However, if you can’t back that up with evidence that you understand what you are talking about, they aren’t going to be impressed at all by those letters; they’ll just assume that your education was wasted.

  74. Well first of all I think Nick seems to be a very well adjusted 21 year old and undeserving of any brash criticism.

As for this Guy Fawkes guy, he is clearly quite naive as to the political reality in Israel and Palestine but as far as his comment about everyone deserving “to live their lives based on the fundamental human rights and concept of human security as defined by the UN” I don’t see how anyone could argue with that. Also, I agree with him that it never justifiable to kill children, no matter what indoctrination they may have received. I don’t want to get thirty people insult me now because of that, I’m just saying that aside from his poor taste in language and unnecessary insults some of what he says is very true and good stuff. If peace is possible, we should strive for it anywhere and everywhere. I would have been interested to hear how he would propose this peace but I doubt he will be back considering he seems to be fairly outnumbered. If you do come back, sir, maybe you could explain to us how this ‘peace’ can be constructed?

He clearly made a mistake by coming to a right-ish blog and posting contentious statements. I don’t think he was prepared to be berated by twenty different people and acted quite poorly and distastefully with the insults. However, the rest of you have been just as bad (perhaps not with the severity of language, but you mean the same things). You seem to have taken his viewpoint to an extreme, as he has done yours. There are always going to be multiple viewpoints and this forum has clearly illustrated the polar opposites. I praise Nick for his centralist stance which is much more akin to my own. And thank god we live in a world where multiple views can exist and come together in polite discourse (or in this case not so polite).

As for Netanyahu’s speech, it was well delivered but I feel there were some serious flaws and disagree that is could be considered one of the top 100 speeches in history. I was particularly surprised by the support shown by the democrats. By the way, you really should watch the whole speech and not the snippet here which is little more than an introduction.

The peace process/problem in that region is not the kind that will be solved over night but I do think that it is possible if the right kind of steps are take, the problem is that neither side is willing to make major concessions. I can understand this given the longstanding strife between the two peoples. I agree that the 1967 borders would be incredibly difficult to defend if the Palestinians were ever to procure strong military capabilities. As it stands though, Israel has one of the best equipped and technologically advanced military’s in the world and it is absurd for them to consider themselves completely defenseless.

That being said, Palestinians have made it basically impossible for Israel to extend the olive branch by choosing to supporting Hamas. I don’t think the US would tolerate a government run by Al-Queda to move in next door, so I don’t see how they (the President) expects Israel to be accommodating to Hamas.

Cyn, your contempt for Canada is ridiculous as we have always been a strong ally to our brothers down south. The fact that many of us are more ‘liberal’ is something we are proud of. Shame on you for insulting your brothers to the North, it is undeserved and you are foolish to do so. I will quickly point out that your insult towards the Canadian education machine is not well founded considering the University of Toronto is rated in the top ten Universities in the World and the University of British Columbia was thirteenth. These are world class institutions, no we don’t learn in igloos.

Nick, your on the right track mate. Your going to have professors like Guy and Nicedeb. Listen closely to both of them and make your own mind up. If you’re like me you’ll end up in the middle of the political spectrum, which is not a bad thing at all. 🙂

But obviously everyone here believes in fundamental human rights, the problem is with the radical Islamists who don’t.

As for the “peace process”, you say, the problem is that “neither side is willing to make major concessions”.

Israel has made concessions over and over again, only to be attacked anew by people who’s main problem is the fact that they exist.

What do the Palestinians have that Israel wants? Nothing. What concessions have they made? Nothing but some cease-fires that weren’t worth the piece of paper they were written on.

Also, I agree with him that it never justifiable to kill children, no matter what indoctrination they may have received.

    Um, no.

Fawkes’ very first comment began: “You are all sheep, this is disgusting “, and he then went on to insinuate that we’re all too stupid to understand the nuances of the situation.

So he started right off the bat, a provocative troll.

I responded, “Sorry, Bucko, we know the real history of the region and understand Israel’s position.”

Tex Taylor responded with a tongue in cheek, “Is your middle name Yasser? Why don’t you take your complaint to the Jordanians, Egyptians and Syrians, where you will find the lying,
    sympathetic ear you seek?

Understand something Guy. Jerusalem was Israel, is Israel, and will always be Israel. It can not be divided, and that is not negotiable.”

    ZZMike just respectfully disagreed:

Look at a map of the Middle East, from Iran all the way out to Gibraltar, at least 8.5×11.

Notice how much of that land is Muslim/Arab.

Now look at the tiny little strip labeled “Israel”.etc

    Nobody “attacked” him.

He responded by calling me a fool, hurling an F-bomb at Tex Taylor, and condescendingly suggesting that ZZMike read something for a change.

    It went downhill from there.

If you’re “concerned about truth” you should start by telling it.

His mistake wasn’t that he visited a right-wing blog, his mistake was that he visited a right-wing blog and behaved like a particularly nasty and vile left-wing troll.

  79. Fair enough, I will point out that ‘fool’ isn’t a particularly hurtful or nasty thing to call someone, his “F-bomb” was not directed at Tex Taylor him/herself but used in the context of emphasis (though not a tasteful thing to say anyways), and ZZMike should have read that before expressing his disgust, because it was not written by Al-Jazeera as he implied. Haha it must be the ‘bleeding-heart liberal’ in me to attempt to defend him but after those responses of his, you and others certainly did attack him. You yourself used the word “tool” which is not too far removed from “fool”. But now we are talking semantics and that generally goes nowhere!

I don’t mean to instigate anything here I am just saying my piece. I respect Guy’s opinion as I do yours Deb.

Speaking of that opinion, and again I don’t mean this in any other form than an actual question, what do you think should happen in the region? If you had a magic pen and whatever you wrote became reality, how would you shape the situation?

    Cheers.

  80. I used tool after he used fool. You see, I can respect someone’s opinion when it’s put forth in a calm and respectful manner. Fawkes entered the fray here in a contentious manner, got some blowback, and then went on an despicable rampage.

By the way, this is a PG-13 blog, I generally don’t abide F-bombs.

That you would come out to defend a guy who called a mother of six an “inbred” who should be “sterilized” says a lot about you and your motives and “bleeding heart” isn’t what comes to mind.

I’m not a policy wonk, so I don’t have any answers to solve the problems in the Middle East. To me, the “peace process” is just a charade.. I know what the root of the problem is, Islamofascism – but I have no idea how to cure it.

As I already indicated, I don’t think there’s going to be a good outcome. Someone’s going down, either Israel, or the Palestinians, and it’s not looking good right now for Israel.
