What were the two biggest stories in America on March 1, 2012? One was the shocking and devastating news that Andrew Breitbart was dead, and the other was – (or should have been) Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s press conference on the results of his investigation into Barack Obama’s eligibility, because he found that the thing posted on the White House website, last April was a complete and utter forgery, as document experts have been saying since the beginning. Unfortunately, story #1 sucked the oxygen out of story #2.
I’m gonna keep talking about story #2. I think Andrew would approve, since he was apparently interested in the story, too. It came out during Thursday’s press conference that Andrew Breitbart’s last interview may well have been with Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

He’s talking about the Thursday night CPAC blog bash – I shared a cab ride back to the hotel with the blogger who wrote those words. He was a jovial bon-vivant, “out and proud”, laughing and joking in the back seat of the cab. I asked him who he was, and he said, Larry Sinclair.

First comment at the ‘Larry Sinclair’ link gave me pause. It basically praised Breitbart for putting the microscope on the liberals AND THEN asks why the same scrutiny is not placed on the conservatives.
We know that the democrats are socialists bent on dominating every aspect of our lives. But what of the do-nothing republican leadership in the house and senate? Are they the enemy within? It sure seems possible.

Larry Sinclair is the guy who in 2008, claimed to have had a very sordid sexual relationship with Obama in the 1990s. People tended not to believe him, but people like Kevin Dujan of Hillbuzz pass along rumors about Obama’s Chicago years that would seem to corroborate.
I have no idea why he was invited to the blog bash, (where he posed for pics with Breitbart) but it seemed very odd to me.
As for his comment – I don’t know what he was alluding to – (or if he even said it). There were around 250 bloggers, there – surely someone else would have heard it, too.
The Bigs are getting reading to launch a new project on Monday – Breitbart could have been referring to that, too.

Deb – the comment I was referring to is in the reader comment section, not something Sinclair wrote. Sorry, I should have been more specific. My pet peeve of the week seems to be over the inaction in congress by our elected republicans. I appear to be filtering everything through that colored lens.
If Breitbart had something in the old videos and if Sheriff Joe has something in the bogus birth certificate – we are still stuck with media that refuses to report and a congress that refuses to act.
Perhaps we are approaching a watershed moment not unlike the so called climategate information dump that derailed cap and trade. Perhaps Obama will be vetted – if only in the blogs, such as yours. Certainly that would be a good day but will it be enough?
49.5% of the US population does not pay federal income tax. Seems to close to that tipping point where by the majority of people can simply vote to take money from those who have enough self respect and independence to take care of their own needs.
We have very real and pressing problems and the MSM headlines are focused on deriding anyone who find objectionable the notion that a law student needs $3,000 form our collective pocket to pay for her birth control.

Andrew Breitbart promised that this time – Obama would be vetted. And by God, I’m going to do my part, just like I tried in 2008 to do that.
I did ignore Sinclair’s allegations in 2008, because they were so seedy, and as Kevin and Megan note in their video – the left has a way of making subject matter that is inconvenient to their cause, toxic. Larry Sinclair was deemed to be a “not credible witness” because he had a checkered past. Yet, the MSM happily reported the Cain accusers’ allegations even though they had equally checkered pasts.
Larry Sinclair has a story to tell. I’m finally listening to it.
