Video: “If I Wanted America To Fail”

In honor of Earth Day, via Free Market America:

The environmental agenda has been infected by extremism—it’s become an economic suicide pact.

Powerful stuff.

  1. Environmentalists are of three groups: first, there’s the “true believer,”, the one who in fact is a Gaea worshipper. These are by far the minority.

Second, there are the intellectual leaders who would never be so uncouth as to put themselves out there on the lines because, gosh, you know how important leaders are and we just can’t afford to take any chances with the loss of one of us elitist leaders who, if not present, the whole movement would fall apart. Can we?

And last there are the ones who actually believe they are doing something usefull and important, but that’s only because they’ve convinced themselves of such. In fact, what they are is too self-centered and so unsure of themselves that they don’t want to, psychologically can’t go out and get a job in productive society. They are, in essence, pathological warts on society and a severe drain on the economic health of our nation. (As an aside, I would include all the EPA and all the separate state versions of EPA as part of this group, unless they belong to one of the other two.)
