Kansas Legislators Kill Sec. of State Kris Kobach’s Voter-Citizenship Proposal

Not-so great news, obviously.

The Salina Post reported, yesterday:

Secretary of State Kris Kobach is conceding that Kansas legislators have effectively killed his proposal to require first-time voters to provide proof of citizenship starting next month.

Kobach acknowledged Thursday his bill is dead because Senate President Steve Morris assigned it to a hostile committee instead of allowing an up-or-down Senate vote after the measure passed the House.

The law would have required Kansans to provide a birth certificate, passport or other document proving citizenship when they register as of June 15,  undercutting a Senate measure passed last year that pushed that requirement to Jan. 1, 2013, too late to protect the integrity of the 2012 election.

Accuracy in Media: The Left’s National Vote Fraud Strategy Exposed:

This report reveals the Left’s vote fraud strategy for the 2012 elections. Like a KGB operation, it is thorough, multi-faceted and redundant. It has overt and covert, illegal and legal elements, the latter of which are designed, at least in part, to facilitate illegal activities later. It is a deliberate, premeditated, comprehensive plan to win the 2012 presidential election at all costs, and is in keeping with the organizational methods, associations and ethics of the Community-Organizer-in-Chief, Barack Obama.

The Left seeks fundamental structural change to our entire form of government. In keeping with their amoral, means-justifies-ends philosophy, they will register any voters, dead or alive, legal or illegal, who will then vote as many times as possible, in order to establish a “permanent progressive majority.” As two New York Democrats recently caught in a vote fraud scandal told police, “voter fraud is an accepted way of winning elections…”

  2. It’s a truly sad day when a state can’t even make enforceable laws regarding requirements of citizenship to vote. Thank you, communist/socialist/progressive anti-American judiciary. You are proving Kruschev correct. It’s just too bad you will force all of us to live under the thumb of tyranny while you play intellectual games with the tyrants.

  3. the 14th amendment of the United States constitution says your either a natural born citizen or a naturalized citizen are citizens of the United States and can vote if you are 18yrs. old, race does not matter. The constitution is supposed
to be surpreme so let us follow the constitution and have the county clerks check all citizens for their right to vote.
