Are You Ready For “Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day”, May 25? (Video)

This Friday, May 25th has been designated, Everybody Blog About Brett Kimberlin Day.

The always excellent Lee Stranahan came up with the idea:

Brett Kimberlin is a convicted bomber, perjurer and left-wing attack dog. He’s attacked — in no particular order — conservative bloggers like Andrew Breibart, Patterico, Liberty Chick, Aaron Worthing, Stacy McCain and others.

He created a short, easy to follow video  crib notes version of Kimberlin’s history:

That chilling music is very apropos –  Kimberlin is an evil menace to society, and must be stopped before he hurts someone again. Just as chilling is the fact that there are powerful and deep pocketed entities on the left that are willing to fund his nefarious operations. That anyone in their right minds would want to have their name associated with such a miscreant should be shocking, but we’re talking about institutional left, here. There is apparently no limit to the depths of  depravity Marxists will sink to in order to destroy their enemies..

As you’ve probably heard, the Brett Kimberlin saga recently took a bizarre Turn, forcing RS McCain to leave Maryland:

Convicted terrorist Brett Kimberlin on Monday continued his effort to silence those who write about his criminal past by contacting my wife’s employer, claiming that I was “harassing” him. The resulting security concern required immediate relocation if I was to be able to continue writing about the case of Kimberlin, a violent felon, perjurer and admitted tax cheat who is employed as the director of a 501(c)3 non-profit that has collected $1.8 million in contributions since 2005.

Kimberlin was convicted of multiple federal felonies in 1981 and sentenced to 50 years in prison after he terrorized a small Indiana town in a brutal crime weeklong bombing spree. Law enforcement officials told the Indianapolis Star they believed the bombings were committed in an attempt to distract authorities investigating the 1978 murder of a 65-year-old grandmother, a crime in which Kimberlin was a suspect.

In recent months, Kimberlin has used a strategy of legal intimidation and workplace harassment in an apparent attempt to silence his critics, including blogger Seth Allen, Virginia attorney Aaron Walker and Los Angeles deputy district attorney Patrick Frey.

Walker says he and his wife were fired from their jobs because of Kimberlin’s harassment. Walker did legal work for Allen, who was sued after writing about Kimberlin’s criminal career. On Thursday, Walker published a 28,000-word account of how he says Kimberlin tried to “frame” him on a bogus assault charge.

Kimberlin is a known associate of Neal Rauhauser, a Democrat campaign consultant who has described himself as a computer “hacker.” Kimberlin, director of the tax-exempt Justice Through Music Project, is also involved in another tax-exempt group, Velvet Revolution, which has gained national attention by demanding criminal prosecution of high-profile figures including Republican strategist Karl Rove, U.S. Chamber of Commerce president Tom Donohue, and the late Internet news entrepreneur Andrew Breitbart. Kimberlin’s name also surfaced last year in connection with the so-called “Anonymous” international hacker conspiracy. Kimberlin has pursued numerous strategies to harass journalists and bloggers who have attempted to call attention to his criminal past and his notorious dishonesty — a “top-flight con man,” as Publisher’s Weekly called him in a review of award-winning journalist Mark Singer’s 1996 book, Citizen K: The Deeply Weird American Journey of Brett Kimberlin.

This Friday, let’s all be Stacy McCain – let’s all be all Aaron Worthing…

Stranahan explains what you can do to take part in EBABKD, this Friday:

  1. Research Brett Kimberlin on your own. Don’t trust secondary sources; look for the orginal articles articles published about him, too.
  2. On Friday, May 25th — write an honest, factually accurate post about what you learned and what your OPINION is. Brett may try and sue you, so be accurate, factual and separate fact from opinion.
  3. The post doesn’t have to be long — ANYTHING helps.
  4. After you post, Tweet, share, whatever — get the post out there.

In other words flood the zone…

Read Aaron Worthing’s blog, Allergic to Bull for all the latest happenings in the Kimberlin saga.

The Ewok enters the fray.

Just got off the phone with Stacy.

I had contacted him because I wanted to know if the rumors were true that Kimberlin had  threatened his life like I’ve been seeing on some blogs. He told me that he doesn’t scare easily, but “when someone as dangerously sociopathic as Brett Kimberlin, with his terrorist background,  takes a personal interest in you –  *finds out where you live, you tend to feel threatened.”

Bob Owens asks: Why are Maryland Democrats letting the “Speedway Bomber” get away with terrorism?

Why do radical leftist terrorists keep turning up around Barack Obama?

Damn good question.

It seems that Kimberlin unwisely chose lawyers as his targets, and they have compiled enough compelling evidence to warrant a criminal investigation of Kimberlin’s actions, but authorities do not seem at all interested in pursuing the case.

Another damn good question.

The charges would apparently need to be brought in Maryland. Heavily Democratic Maryland. The same Democrats for which Kimberlin’s group advocates.

Mesablue says Brett Kimberlin — sue me, please.

Mr. Kimberlin (and noxious friends), I call you out to try to find me and do to me what you have done in recent months to others that I would call friends. I hate to make this about me, but I would truly enjoy personally embarrassing you in this venue. Or, in court.

* Originally reported as “tells you he knows where you live…” but I’m not actually clear on that point. Stacy did tell me later that he knew after Kimberlin called his wife’s employment that he also knew where they lived, so until he tells me otherwise I’ll just leave it at that.

Conservative Women Pushing Back on Phony Dem “War on Women” Narrative and Winning (Videos)

Via Smart Girl Politics:

We are NOT Julia.

Let the President know he doesn’t speak for us by purchasing an exclusive, limited edition “I’m not Julia” bumper sticker from Smart Girl Politics Action TODAY. With every donation of $25 or more to SGPA, you get five bumper stickers – one for yourself and four to share with the non-Julia’s in your life!

Ginger Tres Hall of Misfit Politics was even more blunt: Hey Julia, STFU!

I’m sick of being told that Republicans and conservatives are somehow waging a political jihad against women by treating us as sentient human beings. I’ve yet to have a conservative candidate tell me that because I’m a woman, I’m not capable of thinking for myself, making my own decisions and investing in my own future. Conservatives don’t tell me that I can’t live without them; they tell me I can live without big government breathing down my neck. And I believe them. So if this is “evidence” of the conservative “War on Women,” then by all means, Messieurs Ryan, West, Walker, et al, wage on. You’ll get no complaint from me for slashing a bloated deficit, reducing the corporate tax rate, solidifying our ties with our allies, and deregulating U.S. business. That’s my kind of war, gentlemen. And I’m happy to be a foot soldier. Regardless of my gender.

And House Republican Women pushing back the narrative by taking a stand against Obama’s failed big government policies.

Via The Shark Tank:

The Republican women in the U.S. House of Representatives are sending a strong message to President Obama and is Democratic party, that his phony ‘War on Women’ will not be taken lightly.

Twenty-four female Republican members of the House of Representatives, including Renee Ellmers(pictured), Michele Bachmann and Sandy Adams, just put out a video named, “Working for You”, in which they all give a quick snippet of insight about themselves, why they are serving, and what they plan to do for Americans, moving forward.

Here is a list of all of the female Republican members of Congress, who appeared in the video-

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), Rep. Sandy Adams (R-Fla.), Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R-N.Y.), Rep. Mary Bono Mack (R-Calif.), Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.), Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.), Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-Kan.), Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), Rep. Candice Miller (R-Mich.), Rep. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.) and Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), Rep. Jean Schmidit (R-OH), Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD), Rep. Judy Biggert (R-IL), Rep. Jamie Herrera Beutler (R-WA), Rep. Diane Black (R-TN), Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (R-MO), Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-NY), Kay Granger (R-TX), Rep. Martha Roby (R-AL)

El Sharko asks:

Where’s the video of the female Democratic members of Congress promoting their real agenda- abortion on demand, government intrusion, higher taxes and racial division?

Perhaps the feminists in Congress can have a  competition with the feminists at Planned Parenthood to see who can be the most offensive and brazen their fund-raising efforts.

In the meantime, the whole “GOP War on Women” false narrative is flopping badly. Women just ain’t buying it.

In a new poll out, today, (even with the ridiculously skewed sample bias) we see Obama’s advantage among women voters shrinking:

Hot Air reports:

The latest Washington Post/ABC News poll shows Barack Obama only three points ahead of Mitt Romney, 49/46, within the margin of error.  The poll also shows Obama’s advantage among women dissipating, and the President falling further behind his challenger on the economy.  All of this is rather amazing, given the manner in which Republicans keep shrinking in the sample series.

This poll actually shows that Obama is flailing badly, Dinocrat points out:

…there’s real news in the poll if you’re up for some arithmetic. If you assume that 100% of D’s and R’s vote for their guy, and if you assume that the undecideds break against the incumbent as they virtually always do, and that D/R/I is the same as 2010, you get 53% Romney. The I’s in this most recent WaPo poll went 58.5% R, assuming they break against the incumbent. That’s a pretty high number.

Finally, assuming that 100% of D’s vote D in this election is a stretch. We’ve seen what’s going on with some Democratic voters in Ohio. And some Democrat politicians too. Captain Picard had it right: “The war is going very badly for the Federation, far worse than is generally known. Starfleet Command believes that defeat is inevitable. Within six months, we may have no choice but to surrender.”

Sessions: “We Need To Evaluate The Judicial Branch’s Budget Requests” in Light of 9th Circuit Conference Controversy (Video)

This morning on “Fox & Friends”, Sen. Sessions was asked about the recent controversy surrounding the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals’ judicial conference, scheduled for this August in Maui, Hawaii. Coming on the heels of the GSA scandal, this conference is reported to cost taxpayers over one million dollars.

Via Budget GOP:

Sessions drew parallels between this controversy and the scandal relating to the GSA’s recent junket in Las Vegas, noting that President Obama has yet to assert the kind of managerial discipline to let government employees know that such expenditures are not acceptable during this time of fiscal crisis. Sessions also said that future judicial appropriations will have to be examined in light of this lavish conference.

“From the very top of this government, we’re not receiving the kind of determined leadership to bring expenses under control that we need. I mean, the president needs to spend more time managing rather than making speeches around the country, in my opinion… The sooner we get the message down to the lowest level of government that this country’s got to change the way we handle the taxpayer’s money, the better off we’ll be…

Ultimately, the Congress has the power to appropriate money, and we need to evaluate the judicial branch budget request in light of some of these expenditures.”

Something has to be done — liberals won’t stop living it up on the taxpayer dime unless they are literally cut off.
