Dick Morris has been ringing alarm bells about the Obama regime’s plans to betray America by ceding US sovereignty to the UN through 4 UN treaties currently under consideration by the US government; The International Criminal Court, The Law of the Sea Treaty, U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), and Small Arms Treaty.
Morris reports that Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton plan on signing the the Small Arms treaty in NYC on July 27, in another of the regime’s “under the radar” gun-grabbing schemes:
On July 27th, the nations of the world are scheduled to meet in New York to sign a global Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). Disguised as a way to prevent the proliferation of small arms throughout the world, it is, in fact, a backdoor way to legislate gun control in the United States and effectively repeal our Second Amendment.
The ATT will set up a global body which will require all nations to regulate firearms so that they can prevent their exportation to other countries. Inevitably, this will require countries to inventory the guns in private hands and to register them. A gun ban is not far away.
Morris says that even if the treaty is not ratified by the Senate, it is still somewhat binding under the Vienna Convention, so it’s up to a subsequent President to renounce the treaty.
He asks that you please sign the petition at his site, and include your name and address so it can be sent to your Congressman and Senators.
In a letter to Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the eve of the conference, 130 Republican lawmakers outlined their concerns that the treaty being negotiated could negatively affect U.S. security, foreign policy and economic interests – as well as Americans’ constitutional rights.
“The ATT must not accept that free democracies and totalitarian regimes have the same right to conduct arms transfers: this is a dangerous piece of moral equivalence,” the letter stated.
“Moreover, the ATT must not impose criteria for determining the permissibility of arms transfers that are vague, easily politicized, and readily manipulated,” it continued, referring in particular to U.S. arms sales to Taiwan and Israel.
The lawmakers warned that they would oppose the appropriation or authorization of any taxpayer money to implement a “flawed” treaty.
