Speaking of Voter Fraud, What’s Going On In North Carolina?

Image via Voteguards.com

Via Drudge, a story about problems some  North Carolinians are encountering with electronic early voting, and guess who’s benefiting from the snafus?

The presidential election is just around the corner and voting issues have already become a problem in Guilford County.

On Monday, several voters complained that their electronic ballot machine cast the wrong vote.  All the complaints were made by people who voted at the Bur-Mil Park polling location.

One of the voters, Sher Coromalis, says she cast her ballot for Governor Mitt Romney, but every time she entered her vote the machine defaulted to President Obama.

“I was so upset that this could happen,” said Coromalis.

The Guilford County Board of Elections Director says the problem is no biggie –  it happens in every election, and can be resolved after the machine is re-calibrated by poll workers. Then maybe we should rethink these electronic ballot machines because while many, perhaps most people notice the problem, there are no doubt many who assume that their vote went through correctly and don’t even check.

I reported on another ongoing scandal that’s been going on in NC, Monday:

SilenceDogood2010′s Blog: Massive Voter Fraud in NC:

UPDATE on Oct. 21, 2012 – 74 MORE 112 year olds voted on Saturday, bringing the total to 832 votes.

Here in NC, we have a local organization that posts RAW DATA from the NC State BoE site. It’s called Vote Tracker.

Well, one of my fellow patriots has brought to my attention, that we have what appears as Massive Voter Fraud. After only 2 days of our “ONE STOP VOTING” we have 758 individuals, who are 112 Years Old, that have already cast ballots here in NC for the November 6th General Election.

According to the 2010 US Census, there are only 330 people, over 110 years old, in the entire United States.

The Examiner: North Carolina Registers Over 583 Democrat Votes Over the Age of 112:

In fact, two of the 112 year aged voters were mail-in ballots from overseas; ostensibly vacationing to escape the now bitterly polarized political contest, and who can blame them?

But it gets worse when we note from another concerned voter, who indicated the following explanation, which goes but one full measure further to explain what’s happening in NC during this voting season of , perhaps, persistent political zombies:

I overheard a nice lady about 70 telling her friend the following: “Yes, I voted today.”

“Going back tomorrow too.”

“They took us to a place that don’t ask names and don’t write nothing down. They give $20 each time.”

She then handed her friend a card I couldn’t see and told her friend to call the number.

This same tipster later sent a message indicating that he had, indeed, contacted the local election center, who immediately patted him upon the head graciously for being a good citizen with a promise to check on it again much later, in due course.

Obviously there is a problem, one in which voter ID might clearly provide a solution. A thing that only the Democratic party swears against at any cost, and for reasons becoming quite obvious.

Susan Myrick of Civitas Review Online, the official weblog of the Civitas Institute of North Carolina wished Happy Birthdays to the 112 Year Olds Voting in 2012!

I thought a couple of Civitas’ new friends would like to help me wish happy birthday to the thousands of 112 year olds who are about to vote in this year’s election.  You will remember that I wrote about the 110 year olds voting strong in the 2010 General Election and later wrote an update.  Well, its two years later and that’s right, those voters are now 112 years old. Already, almost 1,000 of them have cast their ballot in this year’s election.  In 2010, more than 9,000 110 year olds voted and many more 108 year olds voted in 2008.

So, here’s to North Carolina’s 112 year olds – Happy Birthday!  The 112 year olds in North Carolina are one of the groups of voters who exemplify the State Board of Elections contempt for clean elections. The State Board of Elections has been aware of what we believe to be erroneous age data for many years and has obviously refused any attempt to correct the incorrect data. It is evident that there is no hope for fair and honest elections when you have no idea who is on your voter rolls.

Last week Civitas had a visit from two representatives from The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) who are in the United States to observe our elections.  The OSCE partners with the United Nations on democratization and human rights projects. Funny that the national stories say they are here to determine if poll observers are intimidating liberal voters – we did not get that out of their visit. But if true, observers, sent to observe, observers? Did the liberal groups want the U.N. observers to intimidate our poll observers?

According to this article in The Hill, OSCE was invited by several liberal groups.  Civitas welcomed their visit because it gave us a chance to share our view on poll observers.

You read right. The people who are doing their best to maintain election integrity, are the ones the UN observers are visiting. Meanwhile, the election is being stolen right under their noses.

The Sec of State in North Carolina is Elaine Marshall, a Democrat.

Earlier this year, she posted a message  on her campaign website asking visitors to sign a petition against voter photo ID.  She recited the mantra of the left – that the law is a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist….

Voting is a basic, fundamental right in our country – and any attempt to suppress voters must be stopped.

Right now, the legislature plans to override Governor Perdue’s veto on a Voter I.D. law passed last year. This law will disproportionately hurt seniors and low-income voters. If this law were to pass, folks like my 92 year old mother would need a photo I.D. in order to practice a basic right. This law will prevent thousands of North Carolinians from voting in November. It is voter suppression at its finest.

I cannot sit back and watch thousands of voters have a basic right stripped from them. That is why we are launching a petition this week demanding the legislature drop this veto attempt.

Sign our petition and add your name to the chorus of people demanding an end to this legislation!

Voter I.D. laws are a complicated solution to a problem that doesn’t exist – voter fraud is fiction, not fact.

We already have laws that punish violators of election laws. Most election violations would not be cured by an I.D. requirement. This proposal would add costs and burdens to eligible voters in violation to our NC constitution that requires all elections to be free.

And again, I cannot stress this enough, this legislative move will disenfranchise thousands of voters. In fact, right-wing groups desperately trying to prove that fraud exists have taken to trying to commit fraud themselves, rather than find factual examples.

It is ridiculous – but we have the power to ensure Governor Perdue’s veto holds in the legislature.

Add your name to the petition here >>

If this veto is overturned, a lot of good people will have no chance to vote in November.

It would be a terrible shame if we let that happen.

Thank you,

– Elaine

As James O’Keefe has proven once and for all – voter fraud exists and it is facilitated by corrupt Democrats like Terry Moran’s son, and crooked Secretary of States like Elaine Marshall.

Benghazi is a huge story, and it deserves more attention than it’s getting in the MSM – but so does this one.  None of Obama’s scandals will amount to a hill of beans if we allow the Democrats to steal this election.

The Raleigh News & Observer reports that the reason for the overabundance of 112 year olds is  that they’re people who were registered before a state requirement switched from age to birth date, and that a default birthdate of Jan 1 1900 was filled in for people who didn’t update or whose records couldn’t be otherwise verified.

Eric Soderstrom has been investigating and posted his findings, thus far and has an exclusive: NC’s Centenarian Voters Include First Timers, 2012 Registrations:

The North Carolina State Board of Elections offers an online tool that allows anyone to look up a voter’s registration status and voting history. This data includes the date an individual registered to vote. Using this tool and the data from the Board of Elections I have already found more than 30 North Carolina centenarians who were registered after the birthdate requirement went into effect including 15 who registered in 2012. And yes, some of them are 112 year-olds. (And none of them is Susie Brown, a centenarian who did register to vote for the first time this year).

Of the 15 registered in 2012, 14 did not vote in person (i.e. they voted absentee by mail as opposed to one-stop voting in person). One of those 14 requested a second mail-in ballot just 10 days after her original ballot was mailed. (And no, it wasn’t lost in the mail, as her vote for the original ballot was recorded on October 10).

James O’Keefe Bombshell: VA Rep Jim Moran’s Son Caught on Tape Facilitating Voter Fraud!

Jim Moran’s son, Pat,  the field director for his campaign is the subject of the latest O’Keefe sting operation on voter fraud. This one proves once and for all, that voter fraud is real – Democrats know it’s real – and Democrats are happy to help it along, whenever possible.  Pat was caught on tape giving the reporter ideas on how to get away with voting 100 times in northern Virginia, and was 100%  supportive of the effort.

Transcript from the video:

Reporter:   Do you know two people … Can you give me two names to help us with that?  Two names of people who are fervent, who maybe I can trust?

Moran:   I don’t know.  It’s going to be tough.  It’s going to be tough with the … you got to stuff that card.

Reporter:   Okay. He actually double voted in 2008 and got away with it.

Moran:   Did he?

Reporter:   Yeah.

Moran:   (Laughs) So it’s going to be with the new voter ID laws as well…

Reporter:   He’s got a few in D.C. He’s got some in Maryland as well.

Moran:   And I imagine he’ll be using…

Reporter:   You and me.

Moran:   Yeah.  But like utility bills or something like that.  He’ll need bills.  He’ll need something with the name and their address on it.

Reporter:   He’s telling me if they’re going to be hesitant to enforce it.  He’s telling me it’s a law but there’s law and then there’s enforcement.

Moran:   And there will be a lot of voter protection.  So if they just have the utility bill or a statement (inaud.) will obviously be tough … but they can fake a utility bill with ease.

Reporter:   How would you do that?

Moran:   I mean I would just buy (inaud.)

Reporter:   Microsoft Word and type it up.

Moran:   Yeah, something like that.  I don’t know, but that’s tough man.  I mean, like … I feel like all the energy that you’re going to be putting into this, I think it would be much better suited finding out with just the in place GOTB (ph.) stuff, because all that stuff you’re kind of getting people that haven’t voted in a long time and that energy that you’d be putting in in trying to like ensure that it went through without a hitch and the risk to your name, I feel like plug it in and going to some underperforming districts.

There’s a push down in Mount Vernon and like Prince William and places like that where OFA is trying to get it going, but they, you know, it’s largely minority population, people that just haven’t been plugged in and people that have been plugged in like Republican districts and they’re just not enthused.

Here,  Moran actually advised the reporter to forge a utility bill in order to comply with the new voter ID laws.

Reporter:   If we get some people to help us.  We won’t have to go, maybe someone else will and we’ll scale up elsewhere.  But he’s got name and address, that’s the best bet?

Moran:   Well, no, you need … it has to be … look at the law.

Reporter:   Okay.

M:   But it has to be like a utility bill or something like that.  So you have to forge it.

He encouraged them to pretend to be pollsters and call the people they’re planning on voting for ahead of time.

R:   Pretend to be a pollster?

M:   Yeah.  Do you guys plan on voting, on November 6th?  And go on from there and then depending on their answer just … if they say yes, then go through and just find out if they’re Dems or what.  (Noise)  (Background conversations)  (Walking)

R:   Call first?  Call them?  Okay. That can get pretty awkward if they’ve already early voted, really awkward.  Be ready to run.

M:   (Laughs) (Background conversations) I respect your initiative.

R:   I’m glad you respect it.

EXPLOSIVE STUFF.  Please throw some change in James O’Keefe’s tip-jar, for that one. He’s earned it.

Stay tuned for updates!

Watchdog.org: Latest voter-fraud sting nabs son of long-serving Dem congressman:

After raising legal and practical concerns, Patrick Moran, son of Virginia Democrat James Moran, encouraged the reporter to create phony utility bills that would allow others to cast multiple votes in the November 6 election.

Supporters of stronger voter ID laws seized on the video as evidence of widespread corruption among liberal get-out-the-vote organizations.

“What he’s doing is soliciting fraudulent voter registrations and fraudulent ballots, and that’s a federal crime,” said Hans von Spakovsky, senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. “Even attempting to do that is federal crime — you don’t have to go through with it. Attempting it is a crime.”

Von Spakovsky said he would to expect the U.S. attorney in Alexandria to investigate.

Without question, the United States remains a shining example of freedom and democracy for the rest of the world. Donald Trump’s Huge Announcement: “Release Your Records!” (Video)

Oh boy…okayyyy….he oversold this a little…

As Ace noted,  ‘But he said, previously, that he had a “gigantic” story. This isn’t a story; it’s an attempt to get a story.’

Still, $5 Million bucks isn’t chump change, and it does put an issue into the spotlight that I’m sure Obama doesn’t want to have to deal with, right now. A lot of people have been wondering why he hasn’t released his college and passport records. And now, they’ll be wondering why he doesn’t do so when there’s so much money on the line for his favorite charity.

I think this offer was given in the same spirit as Andrew Breitbart’s famous $100,000 offer to the person who could produce the n-word videotape from the “Kill the Bill” rally in DC.  He knew there wasn’t any, and Trump probably knows there’s no way in hell Obama is going to produce his college or passport records.

That said, this is a bit of a let down because it will be dismissed by the MSM as birther related nonsense.

Don’t know if anybody’s said this yet, but what you’re missing Ace is that this was Trump’s preemptive strike against Gloria Alred. That’s what this is about. Make her share the headlines with him. Bring her fully down to his level: P. T. Barnum.

Ah. Well then, well played.

I been strongly suspecting that there’s a little tit for tat going on here.

Hey, Trump’s a patriot – no doubt about that.

OBAMA KNEW: He Knew Benghazi Was Terrorist Attack Right From The Beginning (Video)

Image via Pseud O’Nym

FOX Nation reported, via Maggies Farm:

The United States had an unmanned Predator drone over its consulate in Benghazi during the attack that slaughtered four Americans — which should have led to a quicker military response, it was revealed yesterday.

“They stood, and they watched, and our people died,” former CIA commander Gary Berntsen told CBS News.

The network reported that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft observed the final hours of the hours-long siege on Sept. 11 — obtaining information that should have spurred swift action.

But as Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three colleagues were killed by terrorists armed with AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, Defense Department officials were too slow to send in the troops, Berntsen said.

“They made zero adjustments in this. You find a way to make this happen,” he fumed.

“There isn’t a plan for every single engagement. Sometimes you have to be able to make adjustments.”

The Pentagon said it moved a team of special operators from Central Europe to Sigonella, Italy — about an hour flight from Libya — but gave no other details.

Fighter jets and Specter AC-130 gunships — which could have been used to help disperse the bloodthirsty mob — were also stationed at three nearby bases, sources told the network.

How did Obama even go to bed, that night, knowing what was happening?

Watch this video of all the lies and obfuscations Jay Carney told in the days following the attack. We now know beyond a shadow of a doubt – they knew the whole time that it was a terrorist attack. They were obviously a covering-up the inconvenient facts because 1. it interfered with their preferred narrative, and 2. it was their lack of security, and lack of any kind of rescue effort that allowed  those four Americans to be slaughtered in the nightmarish way they were.

Danielle Pletka of AEI:

There are a few basics about being president which not incidentally coincide with the responsibilities of being an adult. One is that you cannot lie. Two is that if caught in a lie, you should ‘fess up. And three is that if you lie to cover up your original lie, that’s called malice aforethought (often leading, in Washington, to criminal investigation and obstruction of justice charges, at least if the perp is a Republican). Now, Benghazi. It is perfectly fair for the White House to assert that in the fog of an attack on U.S. facilities, facts were mistaken. It’s important to emphasize that almost anytime one sees a senior official muddling his facts, odds are he’s got bad data, he’s incompetent, or whoever was briefing him was wrong. But…  That is clearly not the case in the Benghazi scandal.

Rather, the story of Benghazi is that while the White House’s initial response may have been confusion (because other attacks were taking place at the same time), very soon thereafter, the outright lying began. And now that we have seen the emails that went to the White House within two hours of the attack naming the perpetrators — a known terrorist group operating in eastern Libya — the fact that officials from the President on down were intentionally and falsely insisting the 9/11/12 attack was not an act of terrorism is screamingly obvious.

The Blaze: Is Newly Appointed Libya Investigator an Islamist-Sympathizer With Ties to CAIR?:

Is the man the Obama administration appointed on October 4 as key investigator for the terror attacks in Benghazi an Islamist-sympathizer? According to recently published reports, the new chairman of a State Department’s “Accountability Review Board,” which is heading the federal investigation into the Benghazi terror attacks, has been accused of being an “apologist for Islamic terrorism who has a cozy relationship with Iran.”

What’s more, the man in question — former Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering — has documented ties with the controversial group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR, of course, is a documented Muslim Brotherhood affiliate and was named unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial — the largest terror-funding trial in U.S. history.

To make matters worse, Pickering is also co-chairman of the board of George Soros’ International Crisis Group who has ties to other Islamic organizations as well, including the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), which has been described as pro-Iran “front group.”

NIAC lost what Matthew Vadum at FrontPageMag describes as ”an important defamation case in federal court last month in which it unsuccessfully argued the group was not a tool of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Ace of Spades HQ: White House: Just Because Ansar Al-Shariah Claimed Responsibility For The Attack, And In Fact Were Later Connected To the Attack, Doesn’t Mean You Should Think They Were Connected To The Attack:

And the White House claims: just because Ansar al-Shariah claimed responsibility for the attack, and in fact was responsible for the attack, doesn’t make them responsible for the attack.

The White House’s position is preposterous. Their early intelligence was correct, and is vindicated by later intelligence. They’re claiming, basically, that in the “middle period,” right around Susan Rice’s press blitz, suddenly they had intelligence casting doubt on the early intel and so, for a couple of weeks, had it wrong, but blamelessly so.

So: The early intel said planned terrorist attack, and the final intel said planned intelligence attack, but somewhere in the middle there they were misled by intelligence that disagreed with the first reports and the later reports.

One problem: We see lots of leaked cables (not leaked by Obama, by the way, but by whistleblowers) demonstrating that intelligence pointed to a planned terrorist attack, and none at all supporting this claim of a “fog of war” where suddenly there was intelligence strongly indicating this was a “sponatenous attack” over a “YouTube video” that got “out of hand.”

Where is this intelligence? Because as the actual intelligence stands, there seems to be no “fog of war.” There seems instead to be a bright stab of light, constant throughout the entire affair, pointing at one and only one conclusion.

Dedicated Tenther: Criminal Negligence: Benghazi Files Part 9:

The ninth, and penultimate, entry in the Benghazi Files- the documents dropped on Friday, October 19th.

By rights, the next document I should review is U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs Manual Volume 12 – Diplomatic Security.  I am not for a couple of reasons.  First- it bores me.  If it bores me, it would probably put many, if not most, of my readers to sleep.  Second, I don’t know enough about the contents to digest them.  I’ll leave my “review” of that document to this, then:  It starts on page 59 and continues through page 66.  The most important thing it says is that any of the requirements contained therein must be waived by the Secretary of State.  Since we can be fairly certain that some of those standards were not met, we must assume, then, that Hilary Clinton directly signed off on those choices.  It is unbelievable that the disposition of the delegation to a country Barack Obama had been hailing as a foreign policy success would not have been discussed with him.  In short: he and Hillary both knew the precise dangers to the Libyan detachment, both in Tripoli and Benghazi.

The next document I will review is perhaps the most depressing.  It is a litany of the “Security Incidents Since June 2011.”  It begins on page 67 of the documents and continues through 117.  Obviously, just reviewing this document could be the subject of several posts.  I’ll just take some highlights.  These will focus on events in Benghazi, or US Embassy staff directly.

Fireworks at the Forum – Jacob Turk Takes Hispanic Student To School (Video)

When Republican candidate for US Congress, Jacob Turk went to a candidates forum at Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City’s urban core, Tuesday morning, he knew that he was going to be a tough sell to the youthful, liberal audience.

A Hispanic girl certainly played her part well, when she asked what I imagine she thought was a trick question,  “what is your definition of America and freedom?”

“We have liberty to do what we each choose, without stepping on the rights of somebody else”, Turk responded.

The girl then pounced –  see if you can follow her logic:

“On your website – (so this would be quoting you directly) – you say,  I am against illegal immigration, I oppose amnesty and I support legal immigration. You just said that you shouldn’t be stepping on the rights of anybody else, and you said that freedom was for everybody… now, if you’re saying that, why can’t I can’t bring up my cousin and my uncle from Mexico to live with me to chase the same American dream that you want, and if he does come, why are you totally allowed to step on his liberties…?”

She bellicosely continued; “You say Hispanics and illegal aliens in general are the ones taking up all the space in your prisons….”

Jacob countered – “That’s not from my website…”

She insisted it was, much to the delight of the other students.

Oh, for crying out loud – here’s what’s on his website:

I am against illegal immigration. I oppose amnesty.

I support legal immigration.

The porous southern border MUST be closed, our northern border security beefed up, and our ports secured. For our southern border, I would insist that the 700 miles of double layer fence that was mandated by Congress in 2006 be built.

Hospitals are overwhelmed, school resources are used up, our law enforcement resources are drained, and our prisons are overflowing in large part due to the waves of illegal aliens invading this country. Americans are paying BILLIONS of dollars, hand over fist, to subsidize the cost of ‘cheap’ labor, and allowing it to continue is a loss for our economy.

I do not support any additional immigration reform until our borders are secured and illegal immigration is halted. When the fence is built and the border secured, we can move forward on retooling our immigration system.

We say loud and clear:

So – no – he didn’t say Hispanics and illegal aliens  are the ones taking up all the space in our prisons. He  said “our prisons are overflowing in large part due to waves of illegal immigration invading the country.” And he’s absolutely correct about that.

But she thundered on, “you say we’re taking up space in your prisons… (and then her “coup de gras”)….when for a fact we take up less than 10% and the majority taking up space in your prisons are WHITE!!!11!

Oh dear….

Alas, no.

The latest statistics on the racial make up of the prison population doesn’t even come close to bearing out Little Miss La Raza’s claim.

In reality, Hispanics made up 20.6% of the total jail and prison population in 2009. Non-Hispanic blacks accounted for 39.4% of the prison population. So 60% of the prison population is comprised of blacks and Hispanics who together, only make up 30% of the US population.
On June 30, 2006, an estimated 4.8% of black non-Hispanic men were in prison or jail, compared to 1.9% of Hispanic men of any race and 0.7% of white non-Hispanic men. U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics.[41]
According to the US Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) non-Hispanic blacks accounted for 39.4% of the total prison and jail population in 2009.[43][not in citation given] According to the 2010 census of the US Census Bureau blacks (including Hispanic blacks) comprised 13.6% of the US population.[44][45][46]

Hispanics (of all races) were 20.6% of the total jail and prison population in 2009.[43] Hispanics comprised 16.3% of the US population according to the 2010 US census.[44][47] The Northeast has the highest incarceration rates of Hispanics in the nation.[48] Connecticut has the highest Hispanic-to-White ratio with 6.6 Hispanic males for every white male. The National Average Hispanic-to-White ratio is 1.8. Other states with high Hispanic-to-White ratios include Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New York.[49]

The Hispanic community is not monolithic, and thus there are variations, even with incarceration rates. Among the Hispanic community, Puerto Ricans have the highest incarceration rate, and are up to six times more likely to be incarcerated than whites, and may explain the higher incarceration rates for Hispanics in the Northeast region.[50][51][52][53][54][55][56][57][58]Illegal immigrants, usually of Mexican origin, also make up a substantial number of Hispanics incarcerated.[59][60][61]

In 2010 black non-Hispanic males were incarcerated at the rate of 4,347 inmates per 100,000 U.S. residents of the same race and gender. White males were incarcerated at the rate of 678 inmates per 100,000 U.S. residents. Hispanic males were incarcerated at the rate of 1,755 inmates per 100,000 U.S. residents.[42][62] For female rates see the table below.

However, black majority cities have similar crime statistics for blacks as do cities where majority of population is white. For example, white majority San Diego has a slightly lower crime rate for blacks than does Atlanta, a city which has black majority in population and city government.[63]

Census data for 2000, which included a count of the number and race of all individuals incarcerated in the United States, showed for each state that the proportion of blacks in prison populations exceeded the proportion of whites among state residents in every state.[64] In twenty states, the percent of blacks incarcerated was at least five times greater than their share of resident population.[64]

If she had been on her game, she would have cited the correct numbers and blamed it on institutional racism.

Jacob responded by making the obvious point that when he referred to our rights – he was talking about American citizens.

He made another obvious point in saying that he and his wife, Donna, “are not the Republican party”.

Then he went on to make the case for immigration reform, but only AFTER the United States follows our current immigration laws.
