Brit Hume on O’Reilly tonight made a fairly shocking claim about what the Regime has up its sleeves regarding the sequestration cuts – namely – they’re reportedly going to make sure that the cuts are as painful as possible.
Because it looks like the the cuts are definitely going to happen.
What’s distressing, Hume said, is the fact that the president, “whose idea this was, and who is certainly a party to all this, is going around now talking about how absolutely draconian this will all be, and he’s listing this parade of horribles that’s going to happen, and he’s clearly trying to make this look worse…. and there are reports that members of this administration are trying to make this as painful as possible.”

Why? Out of sheer spite so they can blame Republicans for the pain because they refused to cave to the Regime? They would wreck havoc on the economy and our national security just so they can score some political points?

I say GOOD-I hope they lay off 10s of 1,000s of government workers and close a couple dozen bureaucracies-when the dust settles, anybody with half a brain will see it DIDN’T MATTER-life will go on just fine.
The ploy Obama is using has been called the Washington Monument gambit, IOW any spending reductions will always result in the most painful and public actions being taken.
Seriously, like Ms Haley said, a child could find these cuts in this colossal budget-they’re freaking rounding errors.
This is truly the most despicable CIC in our history.

That’s a surprise?
That’s what lefties always do whenever Teh Peepul try to curb spending.
In CA they’ll threaten to let murderers out of jail before they’ll cut the pay of the administrator for Gender Awareness in the Prison System.
