Massteaparty: ICE Getting Ignored?:
ICE union leader, Chris Crane was on Greta Van Susteren, last night to voice his concerns about the immigration bill that has been crafted behind closed doors without the input of the very people who should be involved – immigration law enforcement. At the 11th hour, with a hearing scheduled for next week, Marco Rubio finally called and set up a phone call to get the ICE union’s input, which only gives them the weekend to go over the entire thing.
“How are we going to have time to go through this 1,500 pages of legislation and have an impact?” he asked.
He also wondered, “why do we have the AFL-CIO and the Chamber of Commerce, basically big unions and big business that really don’t have the experience of insight that we have – why are they behind closed doors in these secret meetings, having a part in this legislation, and law enforcement doesn’t?”
Greta suggested that Rubio’s move might have been a cynical ploy to show that he had reached out to ICE before his appearances on the Sunday talk shows he’s scheduled to appear on, tomorrow. Not cool, if true.
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents’ union president Chris Crane called on Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio to abandon the bipartisan “Gang of Eight” in the U.S. Senate pushing immigration reform on Friday in a statement obtained exclusively by Breitbart News.
“Senator Rubio was asked during a recent interview that ‘if you don’t get enforcement first, or securing the borders first, is that a deal killer for you?,’” Crane said. “And he replied ‘Absolutely…Because we will be right back here again.’ But the outline from the Gang of 8 offers legalization, or amnesty, before enforcement is accomplished. Senator Schumer admitted as much: ‘we’ve come to a basic agreement, which is that first, people will be legalized…Then, we will make sure the border is secure.’ I would then respectfully call on Senator Rubio to follow through on his commitment to the American people — and his pledge to accomplish enforcement before legalization – and to leave the Gang of 8.”
Rubio still has an opportunity to leave the group if he wants. The Washington Post reported earlier this month, Rubio “can just say Democrats rushed it, or didn’t allow enough amendments.”

Chris Crane, president of the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, which represents ICE agents and which is part of the AFL-CIO, said he was worried about threats of “union retribution” against lawmakers who vote against legalization this year.
His criticism underscores a fascinating split within the labor community as Congress prepares to debate immigration. Most labor unions back the push to grant legal status and citizenship rights to illegal immigrants, but the unions representing immigration law enforcement are generally opposed to that policy.
Mr. Crane has been particularly outspoken in challenging the leadership of AFL-CIO, the umbrella union that has been part of the negotiations to try to write a bill. While AFL-CIO has been involved, Mr. Crane charges that his requests to be part of talks have been rebuffed by both the White House and the so-called Gang of Eight senators that is writing a bill.

While specifics are scarce, it’s a safe bet that the panel won’t be focused on stopping voter fraud, or making sure that members of the military are not disenfranchised. No. It’s focus will be about making voting easier. What can we do about long lines? Should we extend early voting even longer?

Mark Levin opened his show tonight saying that a certain Republican Congressman who doesn’t like what he’s saying is trying to get the local affiliate in their district to stop running the Mark Levin Show. And apparently they are trying to do it behind the scenes. But Levin says EVERYTHING gets back to him and he will not tolerate fascism.
He gives this unnamed Republican Congressman a warning below noting that if they succeed in getting him silenced, he will expose them.

Who is responsible for your children? First it took a family. Then it took a village. Now it takes a left-wing network. According to MSNBC contributor Melissa Harris-Perry, children belong to the government. Why do liberals hate the notion of responsible parenting? Does MSNBC want to remove children from families?

Morrison has long been involved in Kentucky left-wing politics. He was a part of the Occupy Louisville movement from the beginning and ran for the Kentucky State Senate in District 35.
