Charles Krauthammer: Obama’s Foreign Policy in Shambles (Video)

Remember “smart power?” That’s how Obama was going to right all the world’s wrongs. He went to Harvard and spent time in the third world – sooo all the liberal bien pensants (including Obama) told us he’d know how to fix things. After belittling GW Bush’s “horrible ham-fisted foreign policy” (to hear them tell it) – after traveling around the world his first year in office, bowing and scraping before world leaders, apologizing for America’s *past* arrogance — how is Obama’s smart power doing? How many friends has he made with his drone program, his arming of terrorists, his befriending of the Muslim Brotherhood?

Looks like Muslims the world over either despise him, disrespect him or both. US to temporarily shut down embassies around the world Sunday amid security concerns:

The United States will temporarily shut down its embassies and consulates around the world Sunday — including those in Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt — as a precautionary measure over terror-related concerns, State Department officials said.State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf did not say how long the international installations would stay closed — only that the decision was taken “out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting.” Officials would not describe the nature of the threat.

Sunday is Obama’s birthday.
